Vintage Romance (Hawks x Todoroki! Reader

You were the second youngest, being born only minutes after Natsuo, but unlike him, you received the dual quirk your father wanted, having his fire, and water contrast it.

Water wasn’t what he expected, though he was still satisfied. After all, you would still carry his legacy.

Even though you were separated from Touya and Fuyumi, Natsuo and you would still hang out in secret. You were twins, after all.

When Shouto was born a few years later, you could only feel fear.

Training was already tough for you, but you had Natsuo, what about your new brother? You could only hope he didn’t meet father’s standards.

He did. You could only go easy on him and comfort him afterwards, along with your mother, hoping to make her feel like her life wasn’t as crappy as it really was.

Apparently, you didn’t try hard enough.

You could still remember telling Shouto to go as you tried to stop your father’s rage and calm your mother down at the same time.

She was sent off for her breakdown, Shouto was obviously scarred and traumatized. You could only be by his side, the younger boy showing his silent appreciation.

You began to worry about his anti-social behaviour, the boy was always shy, but this was just unhealthy.

Attending U.A and excelling just like your father wanted, you finally graduated as ‘Hybrid’, though you weren’t exactly excited.

You originally wanted to be an underground hero, though father wouldn’t allow it, seeing how they were barely recognized and rated.

You soon met the number three hero, Hawks, while out with your father, keeping your face lacklustre, even though you were actually quite the fan.

He had immediately taken an interest in you, constantly flirting with you and ignoring Endeavour’s rage.

You would always get flustered, but you felt ticked that your father was suddenly acting...fatherly. What right did he have?

After that first encounter, Hawks would always make it a priority to always be near the area you patrol. Taking the final move or swooping down to pick you up for no apparent reason.

He started sending flowers and other gifts to your father’s agency.

After a lot of persistence, he eventually got your number.

The media began theorizing your relations, to the point where been Shouto had gotten concerned.

After you father became number one and scarred, he attempted to reconcile with you and your siblings, Natsuo had stormed out much to Fuyumi’s chargin. Eventually you spoke up, “I want to move out.”

Your words left the whole household in shock. “Fuyumi-nee and Shouto can live with me, as well. I will also be leaving your agency.”

Your father could only look at you in shock. “You want to become a father now? Tch, Natsu-nii’s right. Just stay away. I want to live my own life”

Fuyumi looked like she about to faint and your glare only softened when Shouto called out to you. “(Name)-nee, I believe Fuyumi and I should continue to live her. Rest assured, we will both be fine and visit you.” The room became silent once again. “If that’s what you wish.”

The oldest eventually spoke up,”I won’t go against your wishes. You can live wherever you want, I will find you a suitable place-“

You refused. You didn’t need his apology money, storming out of the house you soon realized you left all your stuff at home and all your money went into the family account.

Slamming your face into a nearby wall, you could only curse your idiocy before you hear a familiar voice call out to you. “ Now, what’s got your feathers so ruffled?”

After hearing about your predicament and laughing at you, Hawks eventually drags you to his apartment, lending you his shirt and residence much to your surprise. He even waved off your thanks.

But, what you didn’t know was that as you were sleeping, hair wet and in the man’s clothes, he sent a picture of you in his bed to your father.

The male Todoroki almost burned down the house, spamming your phone and Hawks with texts and calls.

(16:01) (Name), please reply, I would happily accommodate you to a place of your choosing. Just don’t stay with someone like Hawks. (Read 20:58)

(20:59) Please don’t leave me on read.

Feeling guilty of his hospitality, you take it upon yourself to make all of Hawks’ meals seeing how the male lived off of takeout.

Though you weren’t an expert, you could still remember what your mother and Fuyumi taught you. You may have also called the both of them every five minutes to confirm your actions.

He always treated every dish you cooked him like it was the best thing ever, always giving you a bear hug before and after the meal.

He would always fly you around the city, enjoying the childish look of awe on your face.

You felt yourself growing closer to him.

Eventually, you returned his more than obvious feelings.

“Angelface...I love you more than you could even imagine. Be prepared to have your heart stolen on a daily basis. After all, a princess deserves only the finest~! I mean, if I didn’t, your family would kill me!”

He was your dork.

(Bonus)

During one day, the two of you doing your usual heroics, the press might have gotten a scandalous picture.

You looked fine, the camera catching your left side, as your stance was confident and tall, your face serious.

Hawks was the problem, with his hand outstretched, just about to touch your rear, his eyes downwards, and a cocky smirk gracing his face.

While you remained ignorant on the matter, your father was chasing the younger hero around the city to make him ‘fried chicken’, Shouto was intensely interrogating Tokoyami about how to reach Hawks, successfully scaring his classmates, while the poor raven couldn’t help but curse the pro-hero.

Hawks also couldn’t help but notice Dabi treating him a lot more savagely the next time they met up.

Yandere Todoroki Clan:

So, picture this: Dabi, being the asshole he is, loves messing with you. And this one time, he just takes it too far. So far that it actually ends up injuring your ear. Maybe he pulled it too hard, or one of his staples scratched up your ears pretty bad, or maybe he ties your bunny ears into a bow and damages a nerve in the process. Of course, you begin crying, way harder than before and Rei and Natsuo rush in to help you out, all while Dabi gets away with just a slap on the wrist. Rei ices your ears to numb them while Natsuo undos the bow and rubs them. But you're still sobbing even after Natsuo has put some soothing ointment on.

Alarms go off when a week later you're still complaining of pain and hearing loss and won't anyone touch your ears. It's only when Godfather Hawks visits you and sees you having trouble with balancing yourself. When you tell him what Dabi had done to you, his blood is boiling. He immediately calls Miruko, who comes over to help a fellow bunny hybrid.

And she's just all over you. I mean, the yandere tendencies slap her in the face with full force when she looks at your teary, red face. Like, she doesn't know what comes over her, but the in the next moment, she's in front of you, holding your chubby cheeks in her face. Hawks voice snaps her back to reality as he tells her about your ears. With a calm voice, she asks you to trust her and you do. She then gently touches your ears and examines them, before pulling out some heavy duty painkillers and giving you one. She tells Hawks she'll be back with some stuff for you. Just as she's leaving, Rei catches the sight of Miruko leaving, and immediately jumps to the worst conclusion.

Now you're sleeping with your head in Shotou's lap (the painkillers knocked you out), while Hawks answers on your behalf, denying all the accusations the family is throwing at you. Just as things are about to turn sour, Miruko comes back with like two bags of stuff.

As she begins talking, explaining the situation and how she's turning a blind eye to the *cough* yandere tendencies *cough*. She pulls out all the stuff from the bags, and begins showing them what each thing is for and how to use them. They're all the things that you need, that you should have as bunny hybrid. Bonnet for your bunny ears so that they don't get damaged when you're sleeping, special shampoo and conditioner as well as some small scissors for your tail so that its soft and puffy. Just a lot of stuff to make your life easier.

Now Rei kind of feels bad for jumping the gun, but in her defense, she's just protective of her baby. Miruko tells them about your injured ear and how they should take you to the doctor ASAP, and also to take your pains seriously instead of just brushing it off for being a whiny child.

They agree and when you do wake up, they take you to the doctor while Hawks thanks Miruko for all the help. But... Miruko's not done yet.

Oh no. She wants in and she expresses that to Hawks.

Now Hawks, he's not particularly fond of the idea and almost rejects it outright, but then he thinks about it and it clicks. On one hand, he knows that the family will resent the idea to let anyone else in the family as well and its not very hard to get rid of Miruko either but on the other hand... it might be a good idea to have someone to back him up, just like today. And it might be a good for you as well to have a women in your life who doesn't think you're made of glass, he knows how frustrated you get around Rei and Fuyumi.

And Enji doesn't mind the idea either. He knows Hawks and he knows Miruko, and he trusts them both. And he thinks that its a good idea for you as well because sure, Rei wants the best for you and is always looking out for you but having someone you can relate to wouldn't hurt anyone.

Just like Hawks, Miruko is now your self-proclaimed godmother and she will be the best one. So much so, certain member(s) of the family might feel threatened that you might look to her as a motherly more than your current one.

Vintage Romance II: Family Encounters(Hawks x Todoroki! Reader)

(You don’t need to read part one since that was just a list of more ‘general’ headcanons, I guess???)

Seeing how Hawks was indeed serious about you, it was time to introduce him to your mother, although you never told him why she was in the hospital, he was understanding nonetheless.

Not that you knew, but the man was nervous. Your father was already a character that he teased, but he couldn’t help but worry about how your mother would react, after all, from what’s he heard your mother comes from a long line of ice-based quirks, so he already knew she was in a quirk-marriage, so what would she be like?

But, as you lead him to her room, the guy is shook. "Are you sure that isn’t your older sister?”

You could only deadpan as your mother laughed pleasantly.

The guy spent the whole visit gushing about the two of you, your mother’s beauty and how you take after her, even teasing you in front of her!

“I mean, I always knew Angelface had to get her good looks from somewhere!”

You’ve never been more embarrassed, but you enjoyed seeing your mother laugh with a fond look, but you couldn’t help but notice the flowers to the side before sighing. It looks like he was making an effort.

In the end, Rei now adores Hawks and even gave him her blessing, much to your shock as you became more red.

While your mother was understanding, you were more worried about your siblings.

But, after winning your mother over, Hawks was cocky. Your family was going to love him!

Haha, no. This lead you to an awkward situation; the two of you, Fuyumi, Natsuo, Shouto, and your father were seated quite close together at your old residence. The males glaring daggers into your lover as your sister tried to diffuse the situation.

Which failed when Shouto spoke up. “So, you’re the one that tried to touch my sister out in public.”

Hawks immediately stiffened. Your father had already almost fried him, but this brat too!?

Was this really the extremely kind younger brother you always gushed about!?

You were confused, “Shouto, couples always hold hands in public, it’s not that big of a deal.”

“That’s not what I mean-“ Fuyumi interrupts, bringing out some tea, though Natsuo only laughs none too pleasantly, “So, you must really like my little sister, huh? Just don’t get too handsy.”

“Huh? What are you talking about? Don’t you do the same with your girlfriend, Natsu-nii?” This only caused your brother to immediately fluster. Your father inwardly took notes about you and your siblings, surprised at the new knowledge he was learning. “And, why is the old man here? Shouldn’t he be working or something?”

Things just got more awkward. “I just wanted to see if you were well.”

Fuyumi was dying.

Hawks was trying to lighten the mood by chatting it up with your sibling, complimenting Fuyumi, and trying to explain your relationship to your brothers as you gazed at your father quite intensely, the older male sweating nervously.

Poor Fuyumi.

You finally clicked your tongue, “Alright, this is stupid. I like this birdbrain, and even if he’s cocky, stupid, perverted, lazy, stupid—Alright, sorry, I just wanted you...to meet him...and see what I see...even if he is the most idiotic person to ever live.”

Hawks now wants to merry you, Fuyumi wants to cry, your brothers seem to be understanding, and your father...

Not that he would tell anyone, he’s happy you have someone like Hawks to care for you, someone that isn’t like him...someone that would always think of you.

After you two leave, and a lot of teasing from Hawks, he realizes that you once told him you had three brothers, though he doesn’t ask, he can’t help but wonder who and where exactly your ‘Touya-nii’ is...

(Bonus)

Hawks really hated having to meet up and conspire with villains, especially when it came with the cost of lying to you, but it had to be done.

As Hawks was about to leave, he hears Dabi call out to him, “Hey, so I heard you and Hybrid are a thing.” He sounded casual, but Hawks became alert as serious look crosses over his face.

“She doesn’t have anything to do with this, so don’t go near her...or else.”

But, Dabi only grinned at the threat, “Take care of her.” And, like that, he was gone.

“Hey, nice clothes,” Hawks comments out of no where.

“Thanks, I got them fifty percent off,” You reply blankly.

The winged male winks at you with a smirk,” I’d like it one hundred percent off,”

“The store can’t do that,” You narrow your eyes at his stupidity.

“Wait, that’s not what I mean-!”

“That’s a horrible way to run a business, Hawks.”

(Lolololol, I remember seeing this post awhile ago! It was of Hawks and Endeavor, effing adorable!)
