That’s Pikes Peak. My #husbandUnit took me on a trail that got us all the way to the top of a rock structure to see! We are scooting all over Uta Valley every day! This trail is a cross between Rocky Peak hummingbird and Chumash trails in Simi Valley. I knew those trails after running them for 14 years! These new trails zig zag every which way. I’m starting slower like i did in Simi. Years ago. MAYBE a decade. I bought myself a box of the best pencils in the world. #Ticonderoga. This is because my friend used them and I always noticed how perfect her pencil’ing was: forms to drawings. I hoped I would transform into that level of perfection. . That never happened and I continued using my beloved pencils buying a new sharpener so I could get the most out of them. I hid them from my #HusbandUnit because I knew he wouldn’t cherish their value as much. . Today I am on the last half of my LAST Ticonderoga pencil!! . It fells awful picking up a pencil with another brand name. I picked up 40 pencils at the thrift store so I’ll likely be irritated every time I use a pencil until I use them all up!! Kidney Bean and Red Potato Soup SCOVILLE LEVEL: HIGH! . #HusbandUnit mentioned 41 times that he would love a hearty soup to go with his loaf of #TruckeeSourdoughBread before we even had the bread. Found the bread at Instant Pot Recipe, 20 minutes Setting HIGH . 1 yellow onion, chopped 5 garlic bulbs, chopped EVOO, drizzle 2 C kale, chopped 3 medium size red potatoes, cut dice size 16 jalepeno's from a jar 1 ½ C carrots, cut like quarters 1 C celery, chopped 1 can drained kidney beans . 2c coconut milk 1c water . 1t smoked paprika 1T chives ½t hot chili powder ⅓t cayenne pepper NO SALT Prepare all ingredients in advance. Use "Savory" seal on your IP lid (if you have options, which I highly recommend you have 3 different seals since they seem to retain the smells and tastes of the meal you are cooking). Set InstantPot (IP) on Sauté. Drizzle EVOO and spread over bottom of IP. Add garlic and sauté for about a minute. Add onion and stir it for about 2 minutes. Press CANCEL button on IP. Add all remaining ingredients. Stir well and ensure the spices are mixed throughout. Press MANUAL and set for 25 minutes. Italian Red Potato and Kale Soup in 12 Minutes Using my InstantPot! - Well our house smells like a pizzeria after cooking this delicious dinner tonight. Last minute freak-out in the kitchen. @simsarahsarah and @nornities Thanks for your empathy guys :D Nobody said a teaching job is easy (I should know. The husbandunit is a teacher for adolescents and is now comatose..) Or playing Sims for that matter.. (͡• ͜ʖ ͡•)

I’m using Zerbu’s ultimate career mod to set up the school. Luckily for the teacher, I divided the teens in town in two. One group is going to a rabbithole school, the other group to the open school. I do have 36 teens in town and planning on exploring gameplay and stories with the teens as they get involved in afterschool activities and with each other..

I put in your wonderful bowling alley Norn and the beautiful grungy gas station by @bunyip-things as two of their hangouts. I will be making an outdoor lot at the side of the lake for the more adventurous teens..

I will probably record the struggle.. ;) Really love the Ultimate Career Mod. The only mod by Zerbu I can’t get to work is Zerbu’s Event mod so that Sims can enjoy their hobbies together like a book and foodie club for example or a marathon on a Saturday. Is there anybody out there who uses this mod or has clubs or events in ts3?
