Why can't he remember anything? Did he do something wrong? Why doesn't he know what he did wrong? Does everyone hate him now? Is he alone forever...?) Ah... I don't want to be alone.. (He muttered weakly. He was lying in a pile of deep snow after getting beat up by some fragmentum monsters. Everything hurt. It hurt too much to get up.. at least when he was fighting Blythe he was filled with adrenaline.. at least enough to get away and collapse somewhere else. He didn't know how to treat these... he could hardly keep that one wound from getting infected.) (As he lie there, he thought about how other people at least have someone who cares about them... It's not fair.. it's not fair how he doesn't have anyone.. at least someone who would be around him long enough to be on neutral terms with him... "It's raining again." is what he told himself, it's just raining. He wasn't crying.. no, he couldn't do that. Because if he did that, then the non existent people around him would see the real Hatsu. Not the one hidden behind a mask.)

Zel tends to change the way that he acts depending on who he's talking with. He has a multitude of identity issues and finds that since nothing matters, neither does the person that he truly is. He's lost himself.

Zel is unlabeled and single, without much desire to find a partner.

Zel will generally either not react or laugh when aggression is directed towards him. He is usually more happy than he is hopeless, so he will most likely joke around and make humour of serious topics. He prefers to laugh rather than cry, yet, he is constantly aware of the fact that his own existence has no meaning and that is able to bring his mood down if he ends up expanding on his thought process.

Zel has no surviving family… or at least, that is what he says. 

Zel is incredibly out of touch with his own emotions, despite feeling them vividly and deeply. He prefers to ignore them after he has to “go through the motions of experiencing them”, but this is actually just a poor coping mechanism. He only knows sadness or joy, and anything that isn’t one of those two things is usually pushed away into the back of his mind. 

Zel enjoys pissing other people off and playing pranks on them, singing about the idea of death with a cheery tone. He loves nothing more than talking to people and making them question themselves. He is not necessarily malicious, but what he says can end up being incredibly mean as he has a rather pessimistic outlook on life.

Veritas painfully felt the lack of his favorite mask at his side, whose opaque and rigid protection would have been greatly welcome in dealing with the absolute embarrassment of this conversation.

"Not that there's much to see, I'm afraid," she continued, unfazed, as her mechanical fingers delicately brushed against the porcelain plates that concealed the gears and the outdated yet still high quality ingenia technology she was made of. "Although, I agree, it's a very pretty body. The Xianzhou craftsmen were kind enough to provide me with a very aesthetic model. However I believe that if I were capable of feeling it, this kind of remark and your ogling, according to the social customs linked to female gender roles, dictate that I should feel offended."

"Let's be grateful for small mercies and that you're unable of it, then," he sighed, massaging the bridge of his nose with weariness. "It saves us a pointless argument. Because I know that you know it wasn't the point I was trying to make."

She tilted her head to the side, radiating sparkling joy despite the icy stillness of her too-perfect features. "I know. Your interest lies in substance rather than form, am I right ? What element of my humble self caught your curiosity then, my good doctor ?"

The entirety of what composes you, from the smallest cogs in your fingers to the surprisingly human functioning of your vocal cords, he wanted to say in a moment of brutal honesty he pained to suppress. I would like to take you apart piece by piece and see what you are made of, how, why. I would like to undo you so that I can rebuild you better, if I were assured that the slightest modification would not lead to the premature destruction of your "self".
