He had just managed to finish the preparations ongoing in the division building over the last few hours. Had just organised everything needed for a festivity to commence in only a day, now wandering back through the calming quietness of halls towards his office to finish up anything left for the day. The Captain was out and about after all [ hadn't he mentioned meeting with some of the others? ], leaving his second-in-command to organise whatever was actually on his table to do, but alas - would Sōsuke truly wonder about that by this point?

It was this sort of distracted rumination that had him stop when, in fact, there was an unknown, unexpected sound to be heard just somewhere in front of him, a little to the left. Easy to make out as the soft sound of crying reached his ears, murmuring through the open door of one of the guest areas close to the Vice-Captain's office. How quaint, if he were to truly want to analyse the sound, it could not be one of his division members, after all, they were still running to and fro in the grounds and the adjourning streets to get everything in order, everything aligned perfectly. 

" Hanami. " Not a question, for Sōsuke knew. Lightness of the sound. The tone. The nearly soft sing-song of it. He knew. " What is wrong? " No delay in crossing the distance towards the little girl now situated on cushions she had gathered throughout the room and a blanket found in one of the boxes, a picture of some downtrodden sadness, enough for him to sit down in front of her, tilt his head to the side in contemplation. " I don't think you got lost. Do you want me to get your mother or father? " @jinjahime 💕
