All of this (and more) can be found in Werewolf, RUN! Werewolf, RUN!'s concept is unique but simple: there are anonymous werewolf players (yes, you do not know who is writing a werewolf) with the ability to attack the server each full moon. Our schedule coincides with the real-life lunar cycle. These players secretly choose their targets and then the chaos is revealed during a monthly plot drop. A dice-rolling system determines whether or not your character becomes a werewolf too, if bitten. There are additional, advanced roles that can potentially help in the fight against the werewolves or even cure them! It is set in a small farming town in Virginia named Briar Ridge. The year is 1928. While this is Prohibition, this is not a story for mobsters. No, this story is about the hardworking moonshiners and bootleggers. It's about the home they come back to after they're done in New York or Chicago. And the home that may no longer be standing if they cannot fight back against the werewolves quickly enough. The village of Bleak Crest has a bloody history. It started in 1968 with the death of Billy Daniels, a young man who fell to his death in a tragic accident atop Lover’s Point. It’s said that Billy haunts the village of Bleak Crest, with many people attributing various deaths, accidents, and disappearances to the ghost of poor Billy Daniels.

Billy is not the only local legend in town, as the recently deceased Devon Barrett kick-started his tremendous writing career in the early 90s with fictionalizations of some of these incidents from his time in Bleak Crest as a young man, although even Devon dared not touch the memory of Billy Daniels. His books have seen him win awards globally, and he’s said to have cultivated a new wave in crime fiction. Approaching 80, he retired late last year and made his way back to Bleak Crest to live out his golden years. Those golden years were unfortunately short-lived, as Devon passed from a heart attack just four and a half months after his return home.

Many have either been personally invited to attend the funeral and wake of Devon Horace Barrett, as someone he knew and cared about in life, as per his end-of-life plans, or someone who lives locally, who has been invited to attend to celebrate the life of a local celebrity. As a well-travelled man, it’s expected that attendees will be coming from all corners of the globe to pay tribute to his life.

Inevitable: COWBOY KNIGHTS TRAGEDY this is number one i wanna play this so bad with a crew who will watch a few anti-westerns and arthurian films beforehand and fully commit to the tragedy aspect (big bold decisions if you know it ends in tragedy!) oh my god this specific flavor of game appeals to me a little too specifically

some kind of horror game. VTM, Curse of Strahd, Shadow of the Demon Lord, Call of Cthulhu, whatever lends itself to horror well. the horror genre is one of my favorites and i would so be down to play some good horror!!

House Madaras and its underbelly, the Serpent's Warren, is set up as a place for characters of more dubious alignments and persuasions to play; assassins, murderers, manipulative socialites, eccentric mages and so on! We welcome people to play deviously, to use each others characters like pieces on a board and utilize the setting to its fullest.

As a heavy, 21+ RP group our intent is to give writers a well-crafted setting to explore the darker & maturer themes of FFXIV RP. It's 1995 in Sacramento, California.

All seems fairly normal. Spring is coming to an end, streets and stores are bustling with people, some tourists have come to visit the scenic beaches on the outskirts of the forests, werewolves and vampires are wandering amongst people.

Okay So, maybe not all is normal.

But to the residents of town, and most tourists, they haven't the slightest idea that the undead are walking among them. The creatures prefer it this way, as they'd rather not be headhunted, and it makes feeding a lot easier for vampires. most werewolves anyway can live fairly normal lives, until the full moon begins to peek. And all they have to do, is hide away from civilization until the moon hides away once more..

Of course, some humans are suspicious.. as stories have leaked from time to time of sightings in the forest, vampires in the night, and some have ventured into the woods or delved deep into the night to catch a glimpse of anything supernatural. Most of these tales are hushed, deemed as fairytales and superstition.. but in reality, they're all true.

It wouldn't be too much of a problem, besides the newfound group of "hunters" that are dead set on discovering these creatures and weeding them out, but werewolves and vampires are totally careful and not at all in danger of being found.. right?

hello hello 🕊 twenty, she/her, here in search of other 18+, adv.lit–novella writers interested in creating a small, tight-knit grp of 4 — 6 people on discord. this ad is targeted towards detailed writers, with an interest in character building, found family/twisted entanglements including friendship/enmity/romance, darker themes, plot development, and arcs. this is for those who may usually write 1x1's, but want to try out grp for a change in what will hopefully be a small, cosy, relaxed group of like-minded peers <3.

ideally, there will be one main rp plot and thread for the 'main characters' overarching storyline. furthermore, side threads where the ocs are on other adventures are all encouraged, as are text threads, side ocs, alt-verses, friendship side-quests, shipping threads, and parallel 1x1 threads (set in the same world). to surmise, there will be one main plot with an adv.lit–novella literacy minimum, but you can all create various threads set in the same world/with the same ocs that may not be as lengthy and for these threads, the literacy can be lit/semi-lit or lower.

this grp is NOT a case of 'i create the plot alone and carry it on my back, and you have no input at all'. the grp will be jointly created, and the plot will be jointly developed from a range of base options that i'll offer, so it will be a shared collaboration at its heart. the base plot options utilise the genres of: dark academia (university setting, mind games) // white-collar crime (casino setting, high stakes) // horror – folie a deux edition (small town setting). other themes will include psychological horror, moral dilemmas, and philosophical explorations.

the ocs' age range will span from 19–25, no younger and no older. brainstorms, headcanons, aesthetics, memes, tiktoks, and pinboards will be welcomed and encouraged ! ghosting is discouraged with hiatuses as an exception to the rule. the gist is if you do not contribute, then you may be replaced. though, after we're settled, activity checks will be lax, and as long as you're active in at least ooc and shorter threads, then you're fine.

final note that if you like this ad, i will be asking for an rp sample of yours, info on what gender you'd like to write as in this rp, what pairings you're open to, and a triggers list. this is to ensure the 'likeminded' aspect of the grp is intact and to ensure we're all compatible in the ways that matter.

it's been 14 years since the WILDFIRE VIRUS overtook the world, changing it for good. 14 years of change-- of people trying to find their way in the aftermath of such catastrophic tragedy. and in that time, across the world, different groups of survivors have come and gone. but some still remain. and somehow, among all the pain and suffering, hope burns on. for life, for the future. and even still for some, hope for a cure.

while most know the world could never truly go back, they can still hope for more, right? that in spite of living in a post-apocalyptic world, there could still be a chance to start a new.

WILDFIRE HQ takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, over a decade after the initial outbreak. taking primary inspiration from the walking dead universe, we welcome many other fandoms, including the 100. we pick up in 2024 in the aftermath of wars within different factions across the united states. lives are changed, but hope remains. and now, now is the time for new groups to finally connect and see what kind of progress they can continue to make in remaking the world.

Lone Pine is a small town in New Mexico, near the border, built upon the blood and sweat of late 19th century gold miners. You will be an influencer coming to sign a contract with the trillion-dollar company, Forsythe-Newman Technology Management (FNTM), which is a household name and widely considered to distribute the best, most high-quality film making equipment on the market.

You take a plane to the Albuquerque International Sunport, and from there you head south on the Rail Runner Express, the state-wide railroad. You ride in the train car for several hours, watching the sprawling desert scenery rush past, and notice the presence of humans becoming dauntingly scarce. You disembark in Truth of Consequences, the home of the infamous Toybox Killer, and from there, your contracting company provides a car with a driver to take you the rest of the way down to Lone Pine.

The driver explains that you've been provided with housing, food, and brand-new production equipment in exchange for living in Lone Pine to produce content regarding the eerie paranormal activity reported there. They make extended and uncomfortable eye contact in the rear-view mirror, and when they stop to let you out, you hardly have time to take your bags from the car before the driver peels out and races back down the road from whence you came.

Welcome back to the early 2000s, where Myspace was flourishing, the music scene was shifting, and trends were setting. In the midst of obnoxious pop and frosted tips, ghost hunting was also slowly gaining popularity by some of the more outcasted crowd. Ajax Larsen, and Romeo Pruitt were among some of these well known, sensationalized ghost hunters, having worked their wav up the "spectral ladder" as an independent hunter duo, DisreSpecter. Unfortunately, after some Tragic Life Events and a slow recovery since then, the pair have realized that they might need a little assistance with their popularly followed ghost hunting, resulting in an ad being posted on their blog of thousands of subscribers. They were in need of some "interns," to help them with all sorts of aspects to these hunts... urgently. The pair was on the lookout to hire unique individuals with an interest in all things haunted. The opportunity for anybody to join them as they hop from city to city, investigating eerie scenes they were called to, while crashing at hotels and seemingly living a carefree life, what's the worst that could happen? ⛧ In between the numerous intense Ghost Hunts, there will be lots of casual RP scenes as well. As the crew piles into the van and hops from city to city, there's plenty of new things to see and do. Late hotel night conversations, swims or parties will be had, in the midst of chaotic road trips and haunts, while the main story plot thickens.

⛧ The vibes are strictly 2000s, from the electronic communication to the music and stores- you won't find TikTok, but rather Myspace, with channels dedicated to this social media platform. Post statuses, send friend requests, private message your fellow teammates, or jump into the group chat, the possibilities of what could happen are endless. We have emojis for your Myspace interactions as well!

⛧ Multiple RP polls will take place for writers to vote on their next haunted trip- feel free to investigate the scene and uncover all the secrets hidden within the location to further track down entities! Just.. be careful. Poltergeists are no fun.

Cirque du Souls is a Discord/Tumblr group verse. It follows the mystery of the ill-fated Circus of the Macabre, and how those of Madame Caligari’s Carnival of Curiosities deal with the hell they’ve unleashed.

Premise: In 1892 The Circus of the Macabre set up their tents for the last time after a tragic fire. The flames consumed every soul within that night. Present-day Madame Caligari inherited a mysterious old trunk connected with The Circus of the Macabre. When opened it unleashed a curse. Now stalked by the damned souls of The Circus of the Macabre, the performers must race to figure out the truth behind the curse and the past in order to survive.

Rules: 001. No Drama ooc. IC drama is fine, in fact we encourage it. 002. Any major plots/sub plots have to be run by the admin team first, if we see something that we deem to be a major plot we may come to you to discuss to see if it fits in with our overall group! (Aka pregnancies, marriages, possessions, death, anything that could interfere with the over arching plot. etc.) 003. You are allowed to have 4 characters. 004. This is a mature group, 21+. No minors allowed. 005. Include everyone! Don’t exclude people because you don’t like their character, etc. 006. OCs are welcomed and encouraged! 007. Duplicate fcs are allowed if the first person to take the fc agree to it. 008. You can write all nsfw (violence, sex, blood what have you) - as long as you do it in a spoiler tag. 009. PLEASE put all triggers you have in triggers. Rping triggering topics is allowed - as this is a horror roleplay. Threads that involve triggering topics should have TW: (whatever the trigger is) in the TITLE of the thread- so people know to avoid it. Also put especially descriptive triggers in a spoiler tag. Just to cover all bases. 010. No bubble rping - make sure everyone is included. 011. Try to branch out and include as many people as possible.
