trying to think of what hamilton ship the actual alexander hamilton would hate the most. at first i thought it would be jamilton? but maybe he's read enough classic literature and women's novels (lmao) to see the value in a good old enemies to lovers, doomed narrative story. hadams (is there even a ship name for john adams x hamilton) would be even worse probably. hamilton would be repulsed by it but john adams would hate it more, and therefore hamilton would learn to be amused by it out of pure spite.

as of now i'm leaning towards whamilton. man couldn't handle that newspaper calling washington his "immaculate daddy", he would have a fit.

musical!jefferson on his deathbed gets transported to historical!jefferson's life in the middle of the washington administration. he is given a deal by a mysterious entity known as the System to save historical!hamilton's life or else he will be transported back to his original body (which is dead, so being transported back would kill musical!jefferson). musical!jefferson must now take over historical!jefferson's life as best he can while carrying out his own agendas as well as keeping hamilton alive.

notes: musical!jefferson cannot act out of character to what historical!jefferson would have done to a given situation (or else the system will dropkick him back to his original body) musical!jefferson has no idea how different this universe is, ie, he doesn't know that phillip hamilton in this universe dies after 1800, etc, which impacts his decisions once musical!jefferson unlocks the ooc function, the first thing he does is start wearing purple and dressing like an aristocrat again, which causes hamilton to get really turned on
