people who havent done diy in over 20 years or ever: kids nowadays are falling for the commercialization of punk instead of making stuff themselves and even potentially putting themselves in danger by using dangerous diy techniques they arent really punk!

us, who have seen how expensive some of those things than are used for punk and goth aesthetic diy are and know how some diy shit can be actively dangerous and hurt people: look we get the sentiment but u do know that capitalism is actively making diy more expensive and therefore making the cheap options more dangerous on purpose right? we want u to know that. these kids arent doing it on purpose they just dont have access to affordable and safe diy and ure not helping by being a cunt right?
