Jason Todd is a kid who grew up too fast and now isn’t quite an adult but isn’t a child either. Jason Todd is a kid taken from an unsafe environment and told you will be safe here but wasn’t. Jason Todd was the good kid that got handed a bad kid reputation. Jason Todd thought being robin gave him magic and yet it’s what got him killed. Jason Todd died and returned to a world that had seemingly moved on. Jason Todd was a kid that wanted to save his mother turned into a cautionary tale. Jason Todd was a kid doomed by the narrative by the writers and by the audience. Jason Todd is a kid who didn’t get to grow old and an adult who doesn’t get to move on.
