Whenever you raise their artifacts they kinda feel bad if it rolled into the wrong subs when you raise it with them and would either apologize or say that it'll roll better on the next one, they know it will!! (it did not 😔)

That or they don't bc they felt silly and wanted to spite you so guess you gotta do a few more runs to try again teehee 😗👉👈 they eventually roll a ridiculously amazing artifact at some point, but just this once!

(or y'know the opposite where there's always this one character you always use to raise artifacts bc they always get the best rolls and best subs? yeah imagine them celebrating w you at how good the stats rolled too!!)

Kinda like how if you try to make gear in tkrb there's a chance of it shattering (therefore failing) instead of being able to create one and when that happens the character you brought with you for those will say things like "oh no, it broke! i'm so sorry :(" or "i-it's okay!! let's try again...!" or you just flat out hear sobbing noises bc your new feather low rolled all 5 into defense FLAT 😭 BASICALLY THAT YEAH

i do find it really fucking funny how a lot of the bare bones of a starless clan are so blatantly rehashed from the broken code. what if they use the exact same pattern of "insecure boy, girl in forbidden relationship/love triangle with insecure boy, and traumatised medcat apprentice doing their own thing" in the next arc or five as well.

#they literally just took the exact same three protagonist ideas and repeated them into a new overarching plot #to be more specific- bristle/sun is a warrior who just wants to be Normal. head over heels for boy in clan but he rejects her. #conflict with a close clanmate who is enforcing tyrannical conservative ideas. randomly falls in love with protag number 2 #root/night is a younger guy who is struggling with pressure from his family legacy and just wants to be Normal. has a side character sister #(side character sister's personality changes depending on whatever her protag brother needs to feel and doesnt get much of her own arc) #he falls in love with protag 1 who is from Another Clan after getting a crush on her and surprise!!! she likes him back #shadow/frost have nothing to do w this besides tangentially related interclan political drama and have horror/mystery shit going on #894537 bad things happen to them every day and they struggle to deal with unreasonable responsibility everyone else places on them

To all the people posting AGAIN about the companions "scene count" and everybody just links "Source" it's an INCORRECT COUNT that I pulled out of my ass PLEASE be aware of this It's a scene count that 1 player made from memory! Please stop sharing it as a fact that Astarion has WAY more scenes than all your other faves! Wyll has fewer scenes than the others and that's about the only correct thing in that count I am sure it's an honest mistake but OP forgot to count multiple Shadowheart scenes. Same goes for Lae'ezel (possibly Gale as well) OP counted scenes for Astarion when similar scenes trigger for the other characters as well (on the same night). but OP only counted the Astarion scene and even counted it as "possibly romantic" because Astarion flirts in the scene and well.... that is part of his personality. that does not make a lot of his scenes "romance scenes" 🥴💀 (And Shadowheart's flirting didn't make OP count her scenes as "possibly romance scene")
