A neat detail in Spider-Man 2 ps5 would be if the civilian NPCs would get progressively more unsettled and intimidated by Peter. Instead of them shouting, cheering and approaching him to get a high five, they'd avoid him, get silent or start whispering when he gets close, maybe some of them start even running away bc they're scared.

With Miles, there's relief, they're happy to see him and some of them are worried, so they ask him to check up on the other Spider-Man. And Miles could make a comment about how he's sad that even the citizens noticed that something's not right with Peter. They used to put their trust in him to keep them safe, now they fear him.

Snorting is definitely something. Short, quick, and airy almost? ALMOST unnoticeable. Sun's never actually laughed to the point of tears, to the point of like holding his stomach tightly because he was going to develop even harder rock hard abs from laughing too hard. He's never laughed to the point of clapping his hands together, slapping his knee or his thigh, or running around in circle, or repeating the words that made him laugh. The most Sun's done is...hold back a laugh that isn't even strong enough to be LOUD. A chuckle is the furthest. A flick tail movement is also just an indicator that he's enjoyed what was said or done. But that's about it.

Someone: its hurtful and rude for you to opt out of the holidays. That sends a message. Them expressing this hurt is not "guilt tripping". They arent the bad guy for expressing that hurt.

You're right. Absolutely! I know. Its not guilt tripping for someone to say they feel hurt when you don't come over for the holidays. Trust me. I agree. They are allowed to express that they feel betrayed or hurt in some way by you not attending. But maybe this is more complicated than a black-and-white "good guy" and "bad guy ordeal". Generational trauma always is.

when you can barely pull yourself together from the abuse they inflicted on you your entire life and are breaking down just from hearing your parents voice on the phone? Maybe you are just not healed enough and ready to see them. You can admit that you going no contact is hurtful but also necessary for your healing. Both things can exist and its necessary to be selfish sometimes to heal and get better. I know it seems cowardly but I needed it desperately the past 2 years. Only this year do I feel stable enough to regularly see them again. In my opinion it was very much needed.

I know I have hurt them by dipping out the past 2 years. But I wish they knew I don't do it out of revenge or some sick joy. I do it because I felt like im in a war zone around my family, from all the fighting and survival, the threats of violence. and only now, this year, is it getting easier bc I have had some space away. Like. Your "controversial" opinion is actually held by the majority of ppl, ngl. Almost no one looks at someone dipping out of family events and says "oh they probably have a personal reason for that." They jump to assume that person has no justified reason to do so 🤷
