Ok but... Why were we presented with a new angelic character and not a canonical being?

WHY CREATE A CHARACTER (Sera) WHEN THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER BEINGS FROM THESE MYTHS/BELIEF? I don't exactly include Emily because I believe she must have a story behind her to exist.

It's strange because the most diverse demons (coming from demonology and other beliefs and myths) appear in both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, but these beings from Heaven do not, Except St Peter!

St Peter's appearance indicates which myths/beliefs the work is based on, and so... St Peter is directly linked to Christianity (I don't want to get into the subject of syncretism of religions!!) which come a lot from Jewish beliefs too (this is kinda obvious).

This whole thought came up when I saw edits on Tiktok about a possible rivalry between Lucifer and Miguel/Michael in the future of the series, it would be something I would like to see!

Could these be famous angels like Gabriel, Michael...??

Note: I have no problem with the character Sera, my point is why have an original character to occupy her high position when there are names in myths/beliefs that would be there?

Anyway, what do you think about it? Would the series be afraid to include beings linked to major religions? Could it be that these angels haven’t appeared yet because they will have great prominence in the future?

Because I’ve been invested with the Bible folklore (mainly angelnology and demonology), I read more things about Ariel as well as Mammon that gave me an idea. Since Ariel not only is the Angel of nature but she’s also an Angel of prosperity where Mammon is the sin of Greed… and I thought “oooo what if she was his ex gf”

That Ariel and Mammon used to be lovers at one point when God first created the angels. Now in my headcanon, not all of the Helluva boss sins are arch angels… I think some were just regular angels like Mammon. Though in the vibe folklore it varies, but I had this thought he was just a regular Angel that went through struggles.

And when Ariel met him, she really felt so bad and offered some of her prosperity to help him get basic needs, like food, clothes, and shelter. The two of them start to hit it off and developed romantic feelings for each other.

Though God didn’t approve their relationship since he could sense something off with Mammon… Mainly anytime he is around the riches of gold they offer to help others… Mammon consumed more and more where it started to slowly corrupt him… he would always guilt trip Ariel and pressure her to grant him more of her wealth for “self love and comfort” because he’s depressed.

At one point, when she granted some wealth to poor angels and those that are struggling, Mammon WAS SO FURIOUS. He was so angry that she gave most of the wealth to those below them that he just BADLY wanted it all to himself. And they got into heated arguments over it to the point where Ariel banished him from the holy treasure, due to how it corrupted him.

And of course he got so angry and bitter that to prove he wants a selfish greedy sinner… He used that gold to make her a beautiful treasure as his offer in marriage… the only thing she had to do was join his rebellion with Lucifer to rebel against God and grant him more riches.

And we all know how that worked out at the end 😂 Ariel was too kind and compassionate to ever even stoop his low of hoarding money he didn’t need. And this lead to a massive fallout with them both, but it lead to consequences of the future of churches and Christians.

You know how sadly some preachers end up being greedy and use charity money for yatches and other things? Or why there’s so many republicans in Christianity? Let’s say because Ariel has romance with Mammon, the greed badly tainted her prosperity. Which lead to the downfall of humans being trained with greed, even in Christian spaces.

Like Azreal, Ariel too made a mistake. And she had to pay the price for this mistake she caused. God was stern with her and wasn’t happy about her affair, but she did promise him to face consequences for her actions. And that is paying a lot of of taxes for working angels and giving wealth to those charities. And somehow it did help her heal, she even went to confession and did things to help her heal from that tainted relationship.

Where Mammon on the other hand, still whines and bitches about Ariel to this day. He made up a false narrative how she BANNED him from Heaven and threw him under the bus. And how she “screw him over” all because she rejected his proposal, offer, and no longer wanted to grant him riches.

Since the show shows how misogynistic Mammon is, I headcanon he thinks less of women all because of Ariel. Especially after Ariel felt comfortable being trans, she used to make jokes before while taking a jab at greedy people and Mammon took it as a personal attack. (Much like how Contrapoints would make funny skits to de radicalize alt righters, that’s what I imagine Ariel doing with some male angels )

They sometimes counter each other over big events such as nature protests, or if they need Ariel to purge sinners that caused damage to environments for greed.

So what Lilith was to Adam, Ariel is to Mammon.

Brienne isn’t from the heart kingdom, she is actually a siren from eradicated Card sea kingdom “Tarot”.

It was a place Equivalent to France; back then, her name was Yvette. She was a knight and singer, much like her people.

Brienne is a singer that resides in the heart kingdom these days.

It is unknown who or what destroyed her kingdom and her people.

Although she tried her best she couldn't protect her people...

The Tarot kingdom had fallen along with its people and Yvette fled to a new kingdom with a new life.

Back in her homeland Brienne had a sister named Brittany, who often danced and sang with her in the shows she did, but nowadays, she plays solo.

Brienne now, has a wall that kept people from getting too close to her.

She didn't mind closing off many people, even if they never deserved it.

But she was done letting people alone beyond her best friend YOU.

Maybe...she did opened up to people Once upon a time.

Brienne was a knight for her princess, who she opened up to often.

They were really close.

However, she failed to save her kingdom...she truly loved her princess.

On that day, she was broken, her heart and mind.

Her eyes were so dark and empty with anger.

Those who knew Brienne before the fallen sea kingdom, she was the wild card, fun, loving, caring, joyful, and loved to party, much like her people.

She was a symbol of freedom as she once swam wild in the sea.

But now, she was gloomy, rebellious, annoyed, and closed off.

In the heart kingdom, she entertains the King and his court or the people of the kingdom.

While everyone enjoyed her shows, despite how dark her songs may be.

The King, Wally, was infatuated with her, amazed, memorized, and couldn't help but be lured by her darkness.

Brienne may have been on good terms with people in general; she was not friends with the King or his court.

Brienne knows the REAL truth; they're murderers who destroyed kingdoms and their rulers.

Expected from a selfish ruler, much like King Wally.

Although, she doesn't hate or despise them.

Brienne just doesn't approve of their judgment or acts.

While The King sees her as an angel from heaven, Brienne sees him as a selfish brat.

She only tolerates Wally because he reminds her of a red-haired boy she saved from the sea.

Brienne does look down on Wally and his court as she doesn't respect their morals, and although Wally tries to impress her.

It all fails.

It would seem The King grew a crush on the siren singer, but she does not require that love back.

At least not as of now....

King Wally & Brienne's relationship is close "friends to lovers" but in an untrusting way on Brienne's part.

It's like Ariel and Eric's relationship, but it's the opposite with King Wally falling in love with the siren.

While it is true, Brienne saved Prince Wally as a child; she doesn't recognize him as it was many years ago.

Fun fact: The Tarot card sea kingdom was part of the chaos fraction.

The sirens were wild card and party animals and free.

They did killed sailors, but there was one who was against it and refused to do harm and evil.

I watched the first episode of Hazbin Hotel

.....Its alright.I'll say I have kinda been viewing Hazbin Hotel from afar in the Ive known about the development for a long time ,seen some of Helluva Boss ,I think Iskimmed the pilot of Hazbin a few years ago .I do admire what a viral hit it is and how its become a mainstream show by A24 and Amazon Prime ,but I have been skeptical if it would be my thing cause I am not head over heels into it like some people,and to be frank I doubt I wouldve even watched the show if not for two things

1.Kieth David is in the cast,and he is legit one of my favorite living actors .No surprise Husk is my favorite character

2..,....The soundtrack is a banger .Ive listened to a few songs (Mostly Stayed Gone and have listened to Loser Baby.....Too many times .Look I like Kieth David singing) and they are pretty great

So I will say I think this first episode is ....Alright .I like the voice acting ,character designs,its got one hell of a villain song with Adams Hell is Forever,I think Adam is a funny villain(The idea the first man is this obnoxious who fancies himself a rocker ),artstyle i9n general is great and it got a few laughs out of me.Also as a former theater kid with morbid humor ,I do get the appeal

I just think it feels a bit clunky ,not all the jokes land ,Angel Dust constant harassing of Husk got on my nerves,and.....Im gonna get hate for this.....I dont love Alastor .I like his design,like his voice,like the idea of him but.....I dunno ,I know fans love him but hes just not my fave .I dunno maybe he'll grow on me .I also domnt think it introduces the world well enough to newcomers

I might watch more ,cause I love the style and songs ,but it aint perfect .I like it though
