Tumblr media
Verosika Mayday was well-liked for her design and her history with Blitzo, being one of many people he had wronged in her past. However, some find her to be too spiteful and petty, having trouble feeling sorry for how Blitzo treated her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Despite her career success and seductive prowess, Verosika's encounters with substance abuse and her history with rehab hints at a deeper struggle, possibly a search for meaning or stability amidst the chaos of her lifestyle. She is one of several individuals who have been wronged by Blitzo, as their shared history is marked by betrayal and heartbreak.
Tumblr media
When Blitzo confronts Verosika in the recording studio she is shown to have a tattoo, a heart with the name "Blitz" written on it. Except now it has a big cross over it. It seems likely that she loved Blitzo, only for him to break her heart by stealing from her. That fact that Blitzo is so desperate to be loved and believes that no one in his life does love him makes it even sadder. He had someone that truly loved him and through his own self sabotaging antics turned that person into a bitter enemy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the episode 'Ozzie's', Verosika's musical confrontation with Blitzo serves as a cathartic moment for her character. Her lyrics paint a picture of a deeply hurt woman, reflecting on their broken relationship. As she sings about Blitzo, it becomes even clearer about how she was very hurt by whatever happened in their relationship. After pointing out what a selfish, unreciprocal lover he was, she describes him as "a reckless, heartbreaking freak".
It makes perfect sense for Verosika to accuse Blitzo of being a bad lover. After all, they were at a sex-centered restaurant in the Lust Ring. Regardless of what other ways he might've made a substandard boyfriend, sex is what the others there would've been interested in. She wasn't just insulting him to vent, she was insulting him to damage his reputation.
I mean, it's the Lust ring. The highest "virtue" in that ring is doing everything and anything to satisfy your lust. Therefore, helping somebody else satisfy their lust is also a virtue and expected behavior. So, doing the opposite of that, denying somebody their satisfaction is the greatest sin one can commit in the Lust ring. Add in that they are in Hell, which is looking at most things through the lense of transactions, and the behavior of which Blitzo is accused makes him look not only inattentive substandard lover but straight out thief and fraud. Because Verosika did her expected part of the deal, and Blitzo didn't do his. Nobody in Lust would care if he stole her money and car, but breaking her heart ("heartbreaking freak" part of the song) after not giving her anything in return for all the things she did to satisfy his lust? Horrible "sin" in that ring.
Despite getting to chew out her ex in a much better fashion than in "Spring Broken", Verosika still doesn't leave the episode on a positive note as she's last seen sulkily swirling a wine glass and taking a drink while Moxxie sings the rest of his love song.

We all know that Blitzø was raised in the circus business, and that he was a clown for a long time before founding I.M.P. There's a specific memory from his preformative past that I've been looking forward to seeing a flashback to. This is all just my theory, but there has been many evidences throughout the show so far.
First, in the pilot episode, we see in Blitz's office that there is a framed poster on the wall:
Tumblr media
It's an advertisement for a "1 night only" show at the big top featuring "The Incredible Blitzo!"
The fact that this poster solely mentions Blitz, when Fizzarolli was always Buckzo's shining star must mean something. Not to mention that the design of Blitz's profile is when he is older, from my guess when he was an older teenager or young adult.
Then in episode 6 of season 1, "Truth Seekers," we see a cartoonish character in the image of Fizzarolli taunting Blitz during his bad trip, who seemingly makes reference to this same night.
Tumblr media
Subconscious Fizz: "You tried a solo-act, It didn't work out so well!"
Though, Fizz could just as easily have been referring to when Blitz attempted to impress the audience with his horse balloon trick when he was a kid, which we see in episode 1 of season 2: "The Circus."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We watch baby Blitzo struggling to form a balloon animal. When he finally manages something that looks like a horse (but is lacking legs), the audience remains silent, which greatly discourages him.
We should also remember what Robo-Fizz said to Blitz in season 1, episode 3: "Loo Loo Land."
Tumblr media
Blitz: "The 'O' is silent now."
Robo-Fizz: "A-A-Aww, just like your audience always was when you to-told your lazy jokes here."
Basically, Blitz hasn't had a lot of luck in the spotlight. His audience is unimpressed time and time again.
What I'm theorizing is that Blitz had wanted to shoot his shot at preforming on his own, possibly preparing all of these great tricks and jokes, only to be completely shut down when the audience didn't find him entertaining.
As the show goes on, I guess we'll see if we get anymore flashbacks to Blitzø's past. We most likely will, seeing as the most recent episode featured Blitz and Fizz when they were younger.

HELLUVA BOSS S1E8: Queen Bee [MY PERSONAL ANALYSIS/OPINIONS]
hoping these two become the “unlikely” opposite super bestie duo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
despite Loona’s guarded persona taking Bee’s tone over her words I really have hopes that they’ll grow closer.
LETS DECONSTRUCT SOME FACIAL EXPRESSIONS SHALL WE?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
sorry for low quality first pic lets just dive in
okay wait but can we talk about how crisp their facial expressions are? like idk im amazed at how expressive they are for lil animations *sob*
OKAY so as @bibluebutterfly so perfectly highlighted it in a post that wont let me link for whatever reason so im using a screenshot:
Tumblr media
I may be reading Beelzebub wrong but I think she’s pretty genuine. Tone-wise she comes off bitchy but I think that has more to do with her character design being the “HBIC” or popular party girl. Her words matter more than the tone of voice they come off in IMO, and during the episode her words and actions show kindness and genuineness (is that a word?).
Her sin is gluttony, so she’s for funsies, for what you want. Throughout the whole episode we see Beelzebub being pretty much a perfect hostess, making sure everyone is okay and having a good time. Bee also alerts Loona of Blitz not doing well - which, lets be objectively honest here- anyone would want someone to do if their loved one is clearly not okay at a party. So W for Queen Bee on that one.
the only time she gets “spicy” so to speak is when Loona took her words the wrong way and got spicy first. She also is shown apologizing to Tex for being that way toward Loona. though i do hope we see a future scene where they acknowledge this and it sparks their friendship or something.
I do think that the “spat” between Loona and Bee was just a simple miscommunication. Loona took Bee’s words differently than Bee meant them. Beelzebub literally meant Blitz was “not okay” emotionally/on an energetic level. NOT that he was a “not okay” kind of guy. and, at no real fault of her own, Loona took it in a hostile way because of her traumatic history. She’s looking for threats everywhere as a safety precaution, and is being self destructive in the process.
I’ve been seeing discourse about the lack of dimensionality to the writing of the female characters and while it didn’t originally cross my mind i do totally agree and want to acknowledge that here. i’m praying that they’ll fix it by giving us a beautiful friendship between Bee and Loona that is vulnerable and multidimensional and fulfilling. maybe even a lil fruity lmao. i love Tex and Bee together tho don’t get me wrong, i’m just musing atp.
also honorable mention to this post by @stolitz-is-endgame that for some reason again i can’t link:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
okay so that wasn’t really an analysis of the whole episode, just of the parts that’ve been taking up so much of my brain space. but yeah those are my thoughts. apologies if im just saying things everyone thinks/knows i am just excited and love this show and cant hold in my thoughts any longer.
pls if you have anything to add leave a comment!

Do y’all follow/watch Cartoon Universe on YouTube?
They talk extensively about helluva boss and it surprises me that I don’t see them being mentioned in the fandom. I’ve basically been watching their vids along with Helluva Boss for the last year and it’s quite insightful and helpful. Their research is pretty thorough.
youtube
Like looking through this tag a lot of y’all have theories and are looking for feed back, have issues with the show, or asking questions that have already been answered. I think y’all will get a lot out of this channel’s vids.

Moxxie suffers from PTSD
Moxxie is no doubt. going down this route of a ‘people pleaser’ character. He can't let his strong emotions out, for the sake of everyone’s happiness.
Tumblr media
But, why?
Simple, he suffers from PSTD.
Now that’s an interesting take from me but let me elaborate further.
Many believe, Moxxie is nothing but a slapstick character, he’s always in pain or suffering. But why exactly? is it really because he’s a comedic relief character? or is something entirely else going on with him?
Tumblr media
What do we know about him so far?
Moxxie’s personality
He’s shown to love musicals, classics and art. To the point, he shows high appreciation to any artist, who are yet unknown. Added to the fact, he loves doing extensive research on certain topics or themes, he feels sentimental over. Making it a hyperfixation of some sorts.
Tumblr media
From the surface level, it appears he has an inferiority complex. I personally don’t buy that.
Tumblr media
He cares deeply about Millie, Blitz and the I.M.P itself.
Tumblr media
He overthinks a lot and over shares anything to his liking. For example, how he wants his coffee to be made.
Tumblr media
He’s a sensitive thespian, we have not seen his peformance as a thespian yet. But we did saw his sensitive side a lot of times.
Tumblr media
He likes to critize people. Specifically people he doesn’t understand in the slightest. But apologizes, if he messes up big time.
Tumblr media
How can a character like Moxxie suffer from PTSD? he doesn’t have any recognizable scars unlike Blitzø or Millie. He’s well adjusted and has a good moral compass, compared to any other character. He stands out for being the goody two-shoes in this show.
Just like in real life, people who suffer from unresolved trauma. Are being easily overlooked, the same way Moxxie is in this fandom. Heck maybe Millie too but i’m mainly here to talk about Moxxie.
Would you be surpised to read, that this was intented?
Let’s list a few common symptoms of PTSD that Moxxie exhibit thus far.
If anything is wrong with this, you may notifiy me and I will change this.
PTSD is a mental health condition that may be diagnosed by a professional when someone has experienced a traumatic event and is having particular types of problems as a result. The major types of symptoms experienced by people with PTSD include:
Re-experiencing symptoms.
Avoidance symptoms.
Negative changes in your thinking and emotions.
Emotional/physical reactivity
Intense physical or emotional reactions to reminders of the event.
Avoiding thinking or talking about the trauma.
Avoiding people, places, activities or sensations that remind you of the trauma.
Feeling more down, depressed, angry or anxious.
Feeling shameful or guilty.
Being unable to remember important parts of the trauma.
Being always on guard and/or easily startled.
Doing things that are risky.
Hyperromantic tendencies.
Tumblr media
Notice, how one eye turns red, whenever he’s very distressed? it’s because he tries to not remember his traumatic event. If it gets to the extreme, sometimes his two eyes turn red. Possible indication, he remembers an awful memory against his will. There are a many more scenes, I rather not bring up because it could be disturbing and I don’t know how to use Trigger Warnings in such a big post.
Tumblr media
I will do a separate post and explain, how a person with PTSD. Can affect relationships next.

As someone who was very curious as to how Mammon was going to be presented in Helluva Boss, you can probably imagine I was looking through the new episode very closely.
And while I may have been off the mark with my theory that Mammon would follow the trend of Asmodeus and Beelzebub and NOT actually be antagonistic, I nonetheless think it is VERY interesting how Vivzie and the team handled and presented him.
Tumblr media
Specifically, in just how PETTY Mammon is shown to be in this episode.
Like really think about what you might generally expect from a character like Mammon just from a basic background description: He is one of the seven rulers of Hell, lord of the seven rings and embodiment of GREED. Likely a fallen angel who helped to create hell as it exists today, is matched in power only by his five fellow Sins, and is functionally only truly outranked by Lucifer himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And yet, Mammon’s characterization in this episode presents him as this petty, selfish, manipulative asshole interested in little more than money and attention. He acts more like a shitty, full-of-himself asshole celebrity than a demon lord. Just look at how he manipulates Fizzerolli, not through lording power and authority over him but through emotional coercion like an abusive parent, ex-, or boss, which is precisely WHAT he is presented as. fi
Tumblr media
What makes this even more interesting is that despite Mammon being characterized as Fizz’s petty, manipulative boss, we nonetheless see him display all the POWER and experience we’d expect from one of the seven rulers of Hell. Asmodeus mentions earlier in the episode that he’s known Mammon ‘since the START of Hell’, confirming they were both involved in its creation, and when the two square off at the end, it’s clear that Mammon is very much Ozzie’s EQUAL in power, and that everyone else present is pretty much an insect in comparison.
This is what I think makes the inclusion of that one creepy, obsessive fan of Fizzerolli’s in this episode so significant; he serves as a point of comparison to Mammon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For all the power and authority that he might wield, Mammon is characterized as being no different/better than a creepy, manipulative, entitled and obsessive stalker.
I think this might be the true common ‘thru-line’ connecting all of the seven sins through Helluva Boss and possibly even Hazbin Hotel: That despite essentially being ‘God-Emperors’ of Hell and outclassed in power likely only by the most powerful angels of Heaven itself, the seven sins are characterized in a very grounded, down-to-earth and for lack of a better term, ‘human’ way.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All the times we’ve seen them, Ozzie, Bee and Mam haven’t presented themselves as these all-powerful beings lording themselves over their subjects like we might expect or even what we’ve seen of the Goetic nobility. They don’t present themselves as ‘royalty’ but rather more like celebrity performers, which is certainly in keeping with Vivzie’s comments about how Hell is meant to represent a circus.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It really gives this fascinating dichotomy to the Sins as characters, where they’re presented as these big wacky celebrities with big, over-the-top personas which in turn hide very grounded, down-to-earth people underneath. While at the same time still being these monstrously powerful and ancient beings whose dominion over Hell is entirely uncontested.
It also gives them a nice contrast with the Goetic Nobility and the Sinner Overlords. Like those two groups actually do act and present themselves like demonic ‘royalty’ who lord themselves over those considered ‘beneath’ them, while in reality they’re at best the ‘middle-managers’, and instead it’s these wacky characters who are the TRUE masters of Hell.
It may even continue into what we might see in Hazbin Hotel, what with Charlie being this bubbly, happy-go-lucky Disney-esque princess who also may very well have power outclassing literally EVERYONE else in the show apart from her parents.
Overall, I loved this episode and I think we may now have a good idea what we might expect from the other Sins, and possibly even Lucifer himself in Hazbin Hotel.

Ok, but can we talk for a minute about how well they explained Moxxie and Blitzo's friendship in, what, two minutes?
That short flashback scene is crucial to understand why, despite all their bickering and fighting and Blitzo's emotional issues and complete disregard of boundaries, Moxxie doesn't give up on him.
Because Blitzo, in barely a few minutes, showed him more kindness than anyone had ever done since his mother.
Tumblr media
Moxxie's life had just been shattered. Torn apart. He got his heart broken and his ass in jail. The person he trusted and loved more than anyone completely disregarded his safety for money.
Once again, he is all by himself against the world. Just like when Crimson killed his mother.
And then, this absolute weirdo just shows up and starts talking to him like they've been pals for years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He introduces himself, talks a mile per minute, says a bunch of nonsense I still don't quite understand, mentions his daughter and how expensive his babysitter's gonna get... But most importantly, he has an escape plan and he's already included Moxxie in it.
Maybe it's for convenience. Maybe Blitzo would've done the exact same thing no matter who he got saddled up with. But the important thing is that, for all his flaws and issues, Blitzo can't bring himself to be truly manipulative and calculating, at least not if he senses the person he's trying to con is as vulnerable, if not more, as he is.
Let's draw a parallel between Chaz and Stolas, shall we?
Yes, Blitzo tried to murder or at least incapacitate Stolas. Yes, his only goal was the grimoire. But the moment Stolas revealed just how lonely he was and how much sleeping with his first friend meant to him, Blitzo couldn't bring himself to hurt him. And what did he do instead?
He gave our Owl boy the best night of his life.
Tumblr media
With Chaz?
Yes, he was mostly kinky and curious about M&M's sex life, but he could tell the guy was a douchebag. So the moment they were done, he went behind his back to figure what was really going on there.
Tumblr media
But with Moxxie?
Blitzo was genuine since the very beginning. Again, probably the first genuine person Moxxie's met since his mother, and he knows it.
Tumblr media
This face?
This is the face of someone who's thinking, "Finally, a friend."

Blitzø’s self hatred has literally destroyed/ is in the process of destroying every good thing in his life. It destroyed his friendship with Fizzarolli (more in that later), it likely contributed to his fear of intimacy which is what destroyed his relationship with Verosika, and his fear of intimacy, which is fueled by his self hatred and fears of intimacy often are is drives him to talk to M&M and all his other friends like shit.
Blitzø’s deep and utter hatred of himself is actively preventing him from reciprocating Stolas’s genuine affection and letting him enjoy his relationships in general. And it seems like Blitzø has always been this way.
Tumblr media
This man’s hatred runs deep, and it’s so intense he literally scribbles his face out of every photo of himself. He obviously cares about the people around him, he keeps constant reminders of the people close to him. The photo wall at home, the bobble heads of M&M in his office.
I think most people assume that this hatred of himself started with the fire. That his guilt over the accident is what led to his belief that he didn’t deserve to be happy, that ultimately destroyed his relationships. But i don’t think this is the case. I think his guilt over the accident definitely fueled his self hatred for a long time but i don’t think that’s the root cause of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In this scene it’s a teenage Fizzarolli’s birthday, and a teenage Blitzø appears to be going to hand him what appears to be a love letter, but upon seeing Fizzarolli surrounded by family and friends celebrating he becomes self conscious and throws the letter in the ground and walked away. I believe his internal thought process was that Fizzarolli already has all these people that care for him, why would he want Blitzø around?
I don’t believe this was cause of jealousy, that was fizzarolli’s interpretation of events from his perspective. I think this is one of the first example of Blitzø wrecking his life over his own self hatred.
And i think the most tragic part of this is that he has people in his life that definitely love him. Millie and Moxxie are his employees but they are obviously his friends and do care about his general well-being, Loona is a shit-heel most of the time but she also cares about how Blitzø’s well-being on some level. He has just re-kindled his friendship with Fizzarolli, and Stolas is so head over heals in love with him it’s insane.
Tumblr media
Look at this man, so absolutely fucked. And Blitzø is going to be utterly incapable of reciprocating these feelings or even acknowledging that someone is capable of loving him until he actually starts accepting himself.

okay so the main criticism i've been seeing against episode 8 is that beelzebub (among other things) is "too nice" to be the sin of gluttony, because she's an attentive hostess, because she expresses worry over blitz's excess drinking, etc., and i wanna talk about it.
the thing is, i feel like this complaint is rooted in the most basic, somewhat cliche idea of the sin of gluttony, and a somewhat boring approach to bee's character in general. the idea is that, as the sin of gluttony, bee should be encouraging over-indulgence, excess, and the self-destructive aspects of party culture and drinking.
but she's the queen bee. she clearly explains that she can feel the "energy" of everyone at her party, and i think that's very important to analyzing exactly what gluttony means to her. instead of indulging in food and alcohol and drugs and being selfish (as gluttony is generally expected to be about), bee feeds on the ENERGY of the demons around her. and in order to get the best energy she can, she needs to be making sure everyone is actually having FUN and having a good time. gluttony, in this sense, is about EXTRAVAGANCE, having the best quality of everything, rather than just everything in general.
i also think this is why she was so put-off by blitz's actions. when he chugs the entire barrel of alcohol and then is absolutely wasted beyond all reason for the rest of the party, he's NOT actually engaging in her sin. he's not being gluttonous; he's not drinking to have a good time or to indulge or to have fun - he's drowning himself in alcohol because he's trying to forget and ignore all his problems, which is a sin much more akin to pride. his energy feels bad to bee because he's not having fun, he's deeply hurt and trying to distract himself by being self-destructive, which is NOT what her sin is about.
(also, remember, this is supposed to be part TWO of the finale. meaning, this episode (and the introduction of bee's character) directly goes hand-in-hand with the introduction of asmodeus, who's entire club IS about indulgence and depravity and everything you'd expect from the sin of lust. bee and the gluttony party are meant to be a direct foil to the energy of ozzie's.)

In the music video, Blitzø is represented by the Moon, while Stolas is associated with the ocean, initially walking on it before being submerged in it. This is actually very symbolic of their dynamic. The Moon controls the tides, but at the same time, it orbits around the Earth. Blitzø relies on Stolas and is drawn to the force of his power that he needs to accomplish his goals. However, Stolas is controlled by Blitzø's gravity as well, to the point of drowning in his emotions for the imp. They both profoundly affect one another.
Even the string that ties Blitzø and Stolas together is deeply symbolic. The majority is Stolas's blue, which is representing how much he's put into the relationship so far, as well as the massive amounts of feelings he's going through dealing with possibly losing Bitzø once he gives him the crystal. He has so much length to it because he's being so much more open about his feelings as well.
Meanwhile Blitzø's red is barely there because he doesn't, and possibly can't, put more into the relationship than he currently does. He has so much self-hatred that it's almost impossible for him to love anyone romantically, considering he doesn't even love himself. That and he's scared to put himself out there only to be hurt. He shows so few emotions and so his portion of string is immensely shorter. When it snaps, it all goes back to red on his end as all his trauma and repressed emotions about it flood back and envelope him in the moon once more.
Pay attention to the size of the moon. At first the moon was small, that is, these "walls" were thin or insignificant (this can be recognized from the childhood of Blitzo and Stolas, Blitzo was full of enthusiasm and hope, but now it is slowly fading away). Previously, Blitzo was more open, but after many events in his life, his walls began to increase (he was used by his father for profit, his best friend Fizzaroli suffered because of him, etc.), and eventually became huge and impenetrable (he does not share many things, not even with his own daughter, and he's afraid to trust Stolas on purpose). Even Stolas, with his tall stature, cannot compare with them. This literally shows that Blitzo can't trust anyone.
Stolas sees this and tries to break through them, but until they talk, the walls will not be possible to get through. It is precisely because this "barrier" cannot be destroyed that Stolas will give Blitzo the opportunity not to depend on him because of some kind of grimoire. The Moon's increasing size may also indicate that Blitzo is becoming a significant figure to Stolas. He wants to be with Blitzo not only physically (by type of sexual attraction), but also emotionally. In other words: Stolas fell in love with Blitzo seriously, not in childhood, when it was just sympathy, but real love, which is difficult to get rid of.
The symbolism of Blitzo as the Moon is very reflective of his and Stolas' relationship. Not only is it a callback to the fact that they mostly see each other once a month on a full moon to do “the deed”, but it it's also just a great metaphor for Blitzo as a character. Humanity has been fascinated by the Moon for a long time and tried to reach it for centuries and it was only in 1969 (relatively recently) that they managed to do it. The moon had always been this gorgeous, desirable, yet unreachable thing and that's exactly what Blitzo's love is from Stolas’ perspective.
Stolas' love for Blitzo is represented by the moon. First small and bright, something he can hold close and dear. Then larger, something harder to hold but something still fully within his grasp. Then at the end, impossibly large while also just out of reach
The moon also mirrors the power dynamics between Stolas and Blitzø, at the start with Stolas holding all the power, then Stolas putting himself at Blitzø’s level when he finally tries to look deeper and see what Blitzø needs and his walls. Then the moon grows larger than Stolas as he intends to give Blitzø the crystal so he doesn’t have to depend on him anymore. And now the power in the relationship shifted towards Blitzø. Whether the relationship continues is now up to him.

Wow...Blitz...wow.
Let's go yall. Another scene analysis.
So it's clear Stolas and Blitz have been having sex for some time. He knows those feathers but...they're not in the kinda rough condition he's use to putting Stolas through.
We can see from his trip in Truth Tellers that he put Stolas on a pedestal. So to see those familiar feathers in that condition?
Tumblr media
Absolute denial. Stolas can't be in that condition. He's fancy and rich. No, he's seeing things from the beat down from Loona.
Tumblr media
But then Millie comes in.
"Stolas got hurt bad"
She even places a hand on his arm to comfort him. Because while Blitz denies his feelings, she knows better. She knows love and knows Blitz does care about Stolas.
He shocked and angry, confused too.
Tumblr media
"Stolas got what?!"
Tumblr media
And when he looks up, he realizes those tattered dirty feathers are in fact Stolas's. The person on that gurney who he though so high and untouchable, who he himself could never dirty...wasn't who he thought he was, who he made him out to be.
Tumblr media
He makes a choked noise of confusion. He still cant accept it. He can phantom it.
"How?" Comes out as a croak. It seems too impossible to Blitz.
Tumblr media
His breath is now soft, a whisper, as if he says it too loud it would be like unleashing a secret to the universe, despite it taking place in front of him. Everyone knows but he still cant accept it.
Tumblr media
"He can get..."
'Yes, even he can...with all his riches and powers, Stolas can be injured.'
And then the final word is crisp and clear and tumbles from his mouth with the last of his air as reality hits him, pure shock and fear on his face.
"hurt?"
Tumblr media
And it hits him.
If Stolas can get hurt, Stolas can die. And he could lose him. He could lose someone he won't admit he loves.
He had heard the call, he knew how dangerous Striker was. And now...
His vision will come true.
"You're going to die alone."
Tumblr media
And now Blitz is faced with this new truth that he can lose Stolas without them ever making thier feelings clear.
Should he cut it off so he isn't hurt?
Should he cling and enjoy every second of sadly, the healthiest partnership he had? Is he guilty he didn't go? Is he ashamed or scared of seeing Stolas again?
But most importantly, what are these confusing feelings and can he figure them out?

You know, when you think about it, it makes sense Mammon is such a jerk. Out of all the sins, Greed is arguably the most selfish.
Ozzie always says that lust should be natural and enjoyed together. In fact, most of his establishments outright discourage indulging in lust on your own. You should get out there and indulge in your sick twisted fetishes with as many people as possible. As long as it's consensual. Because if only one person is enjoying it, that's not lust.
Bee always throws huge parties and encourages everyone to have fun indulging in Gluttony. But you shouldn't use it as a way to ignore your problems. That's not helping you, and it's just going to ruin everyone's fun. Don't be that jackass.
Even Lucifer, the embodiment of pride encourages you to stand up for yourself. "Don't take shit from other demons."
Greed? There's really no way to indulge in greed without hurting people because its very concept is taking what you want at the expense of other people. It's prioritizing your own needs over everything else.
So if you're wondering why Mammon is such a prick, it's because greed really is just inherently worse than Pride or Lust.

One of the things that I absolutely loved about the new episode was of course Ozzie confessing to everyone that he loves Fizz, but it also had a brief heartbreaking/oh f*ck moment at Fizz actually wavering on his resolve to leave Mammon as soon as he mentioned blackmailing them about their relationship. ;_; Both Fizz and Ozzie were worried when Mammon brought it up, but I love how fast Ozzie was quick to rebuff Mammon's threat and fight back on how he doesn't care anymore. ^_^<3<3<3 He refused to let that information be held over him and Fizz any longer, of which I wouldn't be surprised if Mammon had used it to make demands against Ozzie on more than one occasion, as well as more importantly, it would give Fizz his freedom away from Mammon that he has been desperately wanting for him for roughly a decade or so; he's also probably tired of hiding it since 10 years is a long time and a lot of effort to keep something under wraps. :/ But it's still just so sad that Fizz appeared to actually consider staying in his awful arrangement with Mammon in order to save Ozzie reputation, only to then be worried/surprised that Ozzie was willing to make that sacrifice for him to come out instead of keeping the secret they've spent so long hiding.
I'm just so glad they can be open about their relationship now and Mammon doesn't have any control over Fizz anymore. ^_^<3<3<3

Moxxie’s Songs
Let’s look into Moxxie’s songs, I will exclude ‘Till the day we die’, I will only address ‘Bad Trip’ and the important lyrics bit from the ‘House of Asmodeus’.
Those are important, to figure out how Moxxie’s mind work.
Bad Trip
We start off with Moxxie, confused over his surroundings and the blame was put on Blitzø.
Whenever, strong emotions are triggered for Moxxie his eyes turn red. Throughout this whole song, Moxxie’s eyes remain red.
He doesn’t want this, he’s put in a spotlight against his will and blames Blitzø again.
Tumblr media
This is the only time he stops. Because he’s hesitating. He's afraid to face Blitzø's judgement. In other words, he’s scared of Blitzø’s reaction towards his true feelings for him. When Blitzø reassured Moxxie to not judge him, a light shines from Blitzø. This was Moxxie’s cue to finally speak the truth.
This is where, he starts to walk up a seemingly endless stairs.
Tumblr media
Walking up the stairs is a good sign. It represents the transition to a higher level of understanding, consciousness, spiritual growth, and emotional balance. Stairs leading upwards, on an emotional level in dreams, may be indicative of opening your mind and expressing your feelings without hesitation.
Not once was he afraid to speak out his mind, and Blitzø agrees to what Moxxie had to say.
But this isn’t Blitzø, it’s not the real one. He’s part of Moxxie’s mind the same way Blitzø invision in his trip Moxxie in his mind.
Moxxie literally asks those questions to himself and because of that, he can’t get an answer. He wants answers to his question to calm his mind because those questions are bothering him for who knows how long. Worst of all, Blitzø has the entire time his back turned to Moxxie. Not once did he turn around and look at Moxxie. As if Blitzø purposely ignores Moxxie and stays busy playing the organ.
Tumblr media
Before I continue my deep dive analysis, I would like to talk about the candles. I didn’t, think much of it, but there is a lingering question for me. Why was Moxxie holding the entire time this candlestick? The room is lit with countless candles but he’s holding onto it, all the way up the stairs.
Dream about candle points to the presence or need for spiritual guidance in your life. It means that you may be looking for some answers or a spiritual connection to get through something.
Dream about candles also highlights how you will find your way, with the help of your spirit guide. You may use your own inner self and voice to get to the other side of a problem or obstacle.
It is also a reminder that we are always on a spiritual journey. We may just require some help now and then, but through symbols like candles in a dream, we can rest assured that we will find our way.
Going back to Blitzø and him never looking at Moxxie, this whole conversation. When Moxxie said out of frustration that Blitzø will end up alone. Blitzø turns around in shock. Blitzø was already shocked at Moxxie for saying ‘F*ck you!’ to him and hearing this ‘You end up alone!’.
Moxxie subconsciously knows that he never insulted Blitzø that way, nor called out his fear in such a heated manner.
Tumblr media
After this, Blitz engages into this conversation and this time asks Moxxie questions. Asks him ‘Why did you hold your true feelings inside?’ that’s where Moxxie places down the candlestick on the table and found the answer. ‘I am scared of rejection’
Take this with a grain of salt, I believe the candles represent Blitzø, Millie and Loona. They are the people, he needs to understand in order to grow as a person. Sadly, he places this candlestick away and instead focused on himself again. He wants to solve this problem alone, without help and it kind of worked.
He learned that his fear of rejection is the main issue of this faulty communication with Blitz.
Blitzø’s attention was put on Moxxie, he didn’t look angry
Tumblr media
Once the truth serum wore off, Moxxie was able to speak freely with Blitzø and brought up a memory.
Tumblr media
In 'Ozzie’s' and 'Seeing Stars', he still was able to speak with Blitzø freely but not in a personal level. Moxxie didn't entirely figure his problems and most likely will struggle at some point again.
Tumblr media
Did the 'speaking freely' ever apply to Millie? Sadly, no. It's an entirely different, can of worms Moxxie needs to figure. Same with Loona.
House of Asmodeus
He still needs time to solve his problems. Seen in Hourse of Asmodeus song. He looks at Millie with rose-colored glasses in other words, he looks at his relationship with very optimistic eyes.
Tumblr media
An optimistic perception of something; a positive opinion; seeing something in a positive way, often thinking of it as better than it actually is.
Why would I think that? let’s look at the lyrics, when Fizzaroli was knocked out by Millie with the guitar.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Millie isn’t laughing in two scenes, when Moxxie cracked a joke. He may be stuck in the past and didn't figure the changes between him and Millie, they are always together to the point they don't really talk to each other. Moxxie still needs to grow as a character.
