Anyway Pathos (or Paola) was a tough but chill woman, she used to work as one of Doc's hirelings and that's how she eventually met/accidentally hooked up with Hank! She's an Italian immigrant and since she doesn't talk about her past people used to joke that she was on the run from the mob (she is not, insert mafia isn't a fucking aesthetic joke here) and she was proficient in sniper rifles. You can imagine why (looks at her power)

When she died, as stated when she gave birth to Bank, there was a fuck up in the ghost system thing that assigns ghosts to babies, and she was instead bonded to a woman who had just been revived from the dead after suffering a (sort of) near fatal work accident, that woman being Pascha! Pascha, obviously being a grown adult, was extremely confused since only babies are supposed to have ghosts bonded to them, and Pathos...well you know, ghost amnesia. She didn't know wtf was going on!

So Pascha is now trying to help Pathos piece together what happened and see if they can figure out what this "missing feeling" Pathos has is about. Pathos has no idea she left behind a grieving Hank and their newborn baby, and no one else knows if Pathos became a ghost or not. And they won't know for a really long time! At least not until Bank is already grown up.
