A/n: this was highly influenced by the influx of soft black girl aesthetic. There’s a little rant at the end, don’t mind me.

Some may label you a gold digger, claiming you're with him for his money, and others may claim you've played life smartly, but one thing is certain: being Gojo's wife was the easiest thing you've ever done; this man asks for and gives you anything you want.

You met Gojo as a college student working a part-time job. Going to school and juggling job was challenging, but you made do with what you had. He liked your dedication and hard work, and he found your independence attractive. But if you were to stay with him, no woman would spend her life working when he could easily provide and care for her.

Gojo is a man that doesn’t ask you for a thing he’s just a giver. He makes you feel secure in every aspect of life, but if you decide you want to do something on your own, he’s ten toes behind you.

In your free time you love staying home and looking online for new treats to make your husband when he’s away at work. You’ve had so much free time you started making videos for your social media accounts and they blew up overnight.

People love watching your get ready with me’s, you go shopping, cooking, working out, couple's trips, makeup routines, anything you post they love.

Besides your social media activities not having to work every day really opened your schedule, instead of being too tired to do anything after coming home you have time for all your favorite hobbies plus more. Reading, yoga, gardening, painting, knitting, hell sometimes all you do is lounge around and take bubble baths. (Gojo loves coming home to a happy and well rested wife.)

But with the positive comes the negative, the ones who don’t like you or is very jealous of your lifestyle love to call you a pretty dumb housewife who has nothing better to do. Someone who’s thrown her life and career away to cater to a man but in reality, that same man caters to you. Do people think you’d take care of a man who does nothing for you?

In your opinion you love who you’ve become as a woman and a wife, you’ve never been happier even Gojo sees it.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I've grown tired of the 'Strong Black Woman' trend. Now, don't get me wrong, I like strong independent women because that's how I was taught, but being perceived as overly independent makes black women appear as if we don't need anyone and can do everything on our own, which is how people treat us. Like babes…we are human with emotions. They will go help and praise a non-woman of color before helping us. It's quite harmful; they already treat and compare us to men. And when a black girl tries to break out from that image, she is dragged back down, which is disgusting.

You don’t have to be rich to be in your soft era! Put yourself first, be kind to yourself, don’t let anyone tear you down, you are worthy of love, the things you can’t control don’t let it stress you out, pray and read the Bible more (if you’re religious), let go of negative people, ITS OKAY TO ACCEPT HELP, it’s okay to be quiet or confident which ever one fits you, prioritize peace, just be you don’t change or try to fit in.

hi bae! so i saw someone say this and i was wondering what opinions you have about it :) "I feel like idols aren't blackfishing but rather whitewashing. Their pics are so heavily edited to make paler/have paler makeup so if someone sees their actual skin color they think it's blackfishing. Asians can have really dark skin too. Also i dont think they do their own makeup so it's a bit unrealistic to me that they specifically would request to make their skin darker. Why would they even do that anyway? Pale skin is the standard in Korea like their mindset is the paler the better. It honestly sucks but that's how most asian countries go by."

Ok, I thought about this long and hard, I feel like both are pretty big issues in S. Korea with the black and white fishing. But first, let's get this out the way all skin is beautiful and there's nothing wrong with being dark-skin or pale skin. Also, that paragraph rubbed me some kind of way because idols have done both whitewash and blackfishing. Now as most know Asia as a whole is known for their extreme beauty standards, being pale and skinny, now narrowing in on South Korea and specifically idols they are seen to uphold this beauty standard.

They're supposed to be pale and skinny, but not everyone likes pale and skinny. In reality, it's honestly almost not their fault they think like this, as this mindset has been around for centuries and it was pushed on to them as they grew up.

But this minds set can be extremely dangerous and toxic, multiple idols and non-idols have done extreme things to obtain and skinner body or pale skin. And in my opinion, I believe they think being pale has something to do with looking innocent, I can't really explain it but I feel like those are tied together somehow. And a lot of groups/ fans have bullied the ‘darker’ or ‘fatter’ members for not being as light or skinner as the others. For example Mingyu from seventeen, Haechan from NCT, Yeri from Red Velvet, Kai from EXO, Jongho from Ateez and so on. This also influences the fans too without them even knowing, there was this sick trend on YouTube a while back when fans started copying the diets these idols went on. Like “eating like Irene from Red Velvet for a week” or “Going on TWICE’S extreme diet”. And not too long ago Enhypen was trending for fat-shaming Sunoo and fans were joking on TikTok saying “I should lose weight before meeting enha so I can have a chance”…IT'S SOOO SICK!!

And on the other hand, some idols use blackfishing just to gain attention, whether it's directly painting their skin a darker color (mamamoo...🙄), literally getting box braids or dreads, (Lisa, Winwin, Kai), and using hip hop concepts to try and act/ look black. Which is very very insulting! You can sing/ rap a genre of music without being offensive, but NO they like to do culture appropriation to gain more attention not caring if the attention is negative or not...

Basically in the fcking end kpop altogether has some serious ass issues that fans overlook all because they put on glittery eyeshadow, look hot, and dance.

To him, the world is full of scams and bullshitting liars. There was no happy ending like in the fairytales.

To you, there was always good in everyone you just have to find it. Hince why he disliked you.

“Megumi you could’ve given him a chance before you beat him to a pulp, there was probably a reason he stole” you said grabbing your bag off the bench following the lanky boy down the side walk.

“He’s a theif y/n, a theif is a theif” you shook your head walking in front of him so he’d stop.

“Maybe he-“ he swiftly turned bending down to your level holding eye contact with you.

“Stop being naive and grow up, he was a theif there are no if ands or buts he just liked to steal and today he stole from the wrong person” he grunted gripping the wallet he just retrieved from said theif.

He scanned your features quickly, your wide eyes, slightly parted lips, and your weak stance made him realize the close proximity of you two made you flustered. He slightly smirked at the thought of you being nervous because of him

“Do I make you nervous y/n?” he asked calling you by your nickname which made you knees buckle.

“No” you scoffed crossing your arms, he smirked and walked around you.

You followed him still shocked at the moment, he’s never gotten that close to you before…it made your chest tingle.

From that point on he noticed how easy it was to make you nervous/ flustered.

Brushing hands, shoulders, making eye contact, anything slightly intimate had you gasping for air.

He’d sometimes just stare at you on purpose just to see you squirm.

He liked seeing you squirm…

And sometimes he used your kindness to his advantage.

For example he’s prone to getting my hurt on missions he comes back- or mainly carried back to the his dorm with busted knuckles, bloodied head, concussions, and fractured ribs…Ya know the usual

And he guilt trips you into nurturing him back to health.

You always checked him like clockwork to see if the idiot was breathing…you might dislike him, but you don’t want him dead

“You’re not going to help me change my bandage? I thought you were a good person? I’m in so much pain I really could use your help” You rolled your eyes upset that you got caught. You walked into his shoulders slump dragging your feet.

He watched you as you got on your knees, you peeled back the blood soiled bandage off his side replacing it with a new one after cleaning the wound.

Staring at you made him feel something, maybe you weren’t so bad.

Maybe you were what the world needed, a good caring person.

Yes, you could be very ditzy and gullible, but you were determined and wasn’t afraid to give your opinion

“Thanks” he whispered wincing. You looked up and realized you two were very close…again.

This time you studied his features, furrowed eyebrows, slightly chapped lips, and rosy cheeks?

“Do I make you nervous Megumi?” You asked a little cocky staring into his eyes. Hearing his name come from you was like listening to an angel speak.

He cleared his throat looking away “n-no, now get out.”

You shrugged standing up leaving his room but not before kissing him on the cheek.

“What ever, feel better idiot.” You smiled leaving watching his whole face turn red.
