"Geez Doc... why do i feel so... dizzy?"

That was the first thing the coyote asked his friend when he woke up, as he had a tired look of confusion and slight worry on his face.

"I-I... don't know Yoyo, i feel pretty d-dizzy aswell-!?"

He stopped himself once he looked up, seeing the face of what looked to be a young kid, that seemed to have been playing with them.

"What the-! Hey, let us go you-"

"Yoyo, stop! It's just a kid, they probably weren't aware that we aren't still in o-our default toy s-s-states!"

Doc cut him off, with a frustated and disapointed tone. Then, he looked back up at unknown child with a calmer face and a gentler volume to his voice.

"Hey there little one... W-would you mind setting us d-down? We aren't just any normal p-plushies you know..."

They were hanging out as per usual, outside near the waterfront in their little town. Susie has been uncharacteristically quiet most of the time, probably pondering over this question itself. Kris might have some sort of better answer than she does, right? They're likely the one to pay attention to these sorts of things.

— " You ever wonder who this Knight guy is? Like, the dude making all the Dark Fountains and stuff? I know that legend stuff Ralsei talks about is like... kinda world endy and things, so like... I wonder who wants to blow up the world that badly, I guess. Most of the guys we come across are kinda... Dope. Somewhat. "

skull bash — what does your muse do to focus? asgore

Much of his focus comes from how Asgore tries to take care of himself day to day (though that could be conflated with motivation). He tries to keep consistency and routine. Wake up, write a journal entry, water the flowers, drink some really soothing tea, etcetera. When it comes to focusing on the moment, he really tries to engross himself in the task, and not think about much else. In normal situations, he'll still remain quite open and will willingly drop what he's doing to help another, but other times, just to make sure he doesn't stop, well...

But, really, most scenarios, nothing out of the ordinary. Deep breaths, make sure he has things he needs (though, typically, it's mostly that he's just taken himself prior, less so in the moment), etc.

((Unsolicited triggers, if that makes sense. It’s one thing if your blog heavily explores a triggering topic/topics and it’s tagged accordingly, but I once RPed with someone who all of a sudden had one of their characters sexually assault another. Granted, it was as well written as a My Immortal sex scene, but it still came out of nowhere and I was a minor when this happened.))

// i'd say that they can go either way and don't really have much of a preference! they definitely talk a lot because they just…have a lot to say. many thoughts and feelings to be shared, many opinions and complaints to get out of their system, maybe a bit of a subconscious desire to fill the silence with some sort of noise so that they don't feel as alone as they truly are…

but they do enjoy listening to others and hearing what they have to say. they're kind of just nosy by nature, and very attentive to their surroundings as well. a big part of their job involves listening to and taking care of the needs of their followers as well, so it makes sense that they'd be in tune and willing to hear people out!

whichever gives them more of an edge/advantage is what they'll go with, in the end; they're very flexible like that because they've always needed to be, even as a mortal.

* Sometimes the words they say are spoken in the voice of an old witch, their laugh a manic cackle. Other times, it's the voice of a strapping young lad, weary from long days of travel. The familiar and warm voice of your mother, an unfamiliar voice of a young, curious child.

* But most often, they speak in a mishmash of voices, changing with sentence and mood. But the strange lilt of their voice never leaves, and always despite the deep sadness it carries, also leaves one with a vague sense of warmth.

"This little guy's stinkin' cute!" Rudy chirps about the stubby-antlered, spotted deer plushie. Instead of putting it on the side table with the rest of the gifts, Rudy leans the little fellow on the pillow right next to him.

"Think my new bedmate'll steal all the nurse's attention with them big doe eyes?" He snorts, patting the stuffed toy on its head. The message on its tag is sweet, but seemingly uncharacteristic of Kris. "No need to have Toriel write those messages for you. Just speak with your heart, you know."
