I was tagged by @treason-and-plot several centuries ago! Thank you so much, lovely! My subjects are left to right - Farrah, Farid, Zaid and Khalid. I would like to tag @titosims, @ninjaofthepurplethings, @buckleysims, @anotherplumbob, @mysimsloveaffair, @simsmidgen and anyone who wants to do this! Questions and Answers under the cut.

1. Which one of you is the older sibling?

Zaid: I am, by just over two years.

2. What do you like about your sibling?

Zaid: Farrah speaks her mind and stands up for herself, Farid smart, but doesn’t have a massive head about it and Khalid makes me laugh. Farrah: To be fair, Khalid makes all of us laugh...sometimes at him. Khalid: I heard that! Farrah: You were meant to. Zaid looks out for us all, which is great as I was a mess... Khalid: Were? Farrah: Oh haha...Farid makes me think about what I’m about to do... Farid: Sometimes... Farrah: What is this abuse? ...and he has managed to save me from doing a few stupid things and Khalid is a shit. Okay, I like that he might not be smart, but he knows what he wants and well...not many people do. Farid: Zaid really looks out for me, he’s probably my best friend... Farrah: I’m your twin you gobshite! Farid: Farrah is my evil twin. She’s confident and determined and Khalid is a lot smarter than he thinks he is. He’s growing up to be a really decent guy. Khalid: What they all said. I like Zaid for becoming a doctor so that the rest of us don’t have to. Farrah is great because she doesn’t judge when I screw up... Farrah: No, I just laugh at you and take photos. Khalid: True, you’re a total bitch, but that’s not always a bad thing. I was really shitty to Farid when you know...and he could’ve been an arse about it, but he wasn’t. He’s got balls for just being himself. Farrah: He’s neck deep in them, Khal! Khalid: Nooo!

3. What annoys you about your sibling?

Zaid: Nothing major. Farrah: Saint Zaid! Zaid: Farrah talks over me and Khalid has way too much energy. Farid and I used to put headphones on and lock them out. Farid doesn’t annoy me, but he could be more confident in himself. Farrah: Zaid is just too perfect, What Zaid said about Farid and Khalid...how long have you got? Farid: Zaid doesn’t really annoy me, but he needs to put himself first sometimes. As for the other two..well I think that Zaid summed it up pretty well. Khalid: It pisses me off that they’re all so smart...even Farrah. When she wasn’t sneaking boys up to her room, she would get good grades. I wish that Zaid would lighten up and smile more. No one died. Zaid: I work in a hospital, lots of people die. Khalid: SEE? Farrah: I wish that Khal would stop calling himself stupid. That’s my job.

4. Describe your sibling(s) with three adjectives.

Zaid: Farrah is headstrong, determined and a risk-taker Farid is smart, self-conscious and kind Khalid is active, confident and loud Farrah: Zaid is intelligent, reliable and...boring Zaid: Thanks! Farrah: Farid is quiet, book-smart and a nervous-wreck Khalid is hyper, loud and dense. Farid: Skating over that... Zaid is intelligent, considerate and a good friend Farrah is brash, caring... Farrah: Whaaaat?? Farid:...and independent Khalid is athletic, determined and positive Khalid: Zaid is reliable, smart and...well you can trust him. Farid: Trustworthy, Khalid. Khalid: Yeah, that. Farrah is outspoken, stubborn and well...a bit of a bitch. Farrah: True. Khalid: Farid is helpful, shy and forgiving.

5. What is your sibling’s/siblings’ biggest talent(s)?

Zaid: Farrah is an amazing hairstylist and she has a way of putting outfits together that no one else could do...all with two inch nails. Farrah: Aw you’re so nice! I feel bad for calling you boring! Zaid: Farid has a way with numbers and I haven’t once seen him pick up a calculator. He can also wipe the floor with all of us when it comes to video games and Khalid can destroy anyone at most sports...apart from snowboarding. Farrah: Zaid can shoot juice out of his nose...but he also has one of those crazy photographic memories...he’s such a smartarse. Farid can get away with way more than the rest of us because he looks so innocent. He also finished all of our new videogames by the end of the Snowflake Day holidays. I don’t know how! Khalid can burp the alphabet, which is amazing as he can’t spell...I was once forced against my will to go to one of his football matches and he’s a great player. Farid: Zaid can pick up most books and finish them on that day or within a couple of days. I would get distracted! Farrah was able to sneak boys into her room, past our dad. If you know him, that’s an amazing talent. Farrah: I did offer to sneak you one too... Farid: She did. She’s also an amazing stylist and can fix all sorts of hair disasters. Khalid: Like when I turned your hair blue? Farrah: You’re a little shit, but I owned that blue hair. Farid: Khalid is an amazing football player. Khalid: So Zaid is really smart, like Farid said, he can read a book in a day or two! I can hardly...well I don’t really like reading much. Farrah can drink grown men under the table, it’s crazy! She doesn’t even get hangovers most of the time and Farid can count in his head...well he can multiply and stuff too...I don’t know the names of it all.

6. What is your sibling(s) really bad at?

Zaid: Farrah can’t admit when she’s wrong! She just can’t. Farrah: I’m never wrong. Zaid: What about the time when... Farrah: Shut up. Zaid: Farid is bad at making decisions. He needs more self belief and Khalid is bad at spelling and maths...sorry, Khal! Farrah: Zaid is bad at making jokes. I mean he tries, but he’s not really that funny. Farid is bad at speaking up, so I used to speak up for him whether he wanted me to or not. Farid: You used to say “Farid wants...” to get stuff for yourself. Farrah: A small price for my services. Khalid can’t spell or count for shit. Farid: Zaid is bad at putting himself first and he’s...I mean we laugh sometimes, but his jokes are a bit...stale. Zaid: Thanks... Farid: Sorry! Farrah is bad at letting things go, whether it’s a grudge or a joke and Khalid is bad at reading situations and expressions. Khalid: Zaid just isn’t funny, Farrah is bad at...well she can’t say things in a nice way. Farid: She’s as subtle as a brick. Khalid: Yeah...and Farid is bad at controlling his emotions. He was bawling at something on Jaime’s Drag Race last week. 7. Do you have nicknames for each other?

Farrah: Not really. Khalid is sometimes Khal though.

8. What’s one thing you can do that your sibling(s) can’t?

Zaid: Prescribe medication. Farrah: So serious! I can cause an all out war on M*msnet with a few choice words. Farid: Complete Lubo the Llama 3. Khalid: Only because you hogged it. I can play football without tripping or breaking anything.

9. Did you get along when you were younger?

Zaid: Farid and I have always been really close. Farrah too, but she got really into fashion and we just...weren’t, so she made other friends a lot faster. Farrah: Sometimes they’d lock me out of their room. Farid: You were so loud and you’d ask so many questions and try to style us and dress us up! Farrah: You loved it! Farid:... Zaid: Khalid came along and Farrah hated it! She tried to sell him to our next door neighbour. She dropped him too, but luckily it was only on the sofa. Farrah: I tried my hardest. Khal and I would fight all the time, right up until I moved out, but I wouldn’t let anyone else mess with him. Zaid: Farid and I got on fine with him. Farid would always help him with his homework...they fell out for a bit, but it’s fine now. Khalid: I was a bit of a dick. Farid: It’s fine...we all get on now.

11. Are you closer now or when you were younger?

Zaid: We’re much closer now, but we’ve always been close. Farid: Definitely. Living in different houses is great.

12. Did you compete with each other?

Zaid: No, we all wanted different things. Farrah: Khalid and I would compete for attention. I went from being the only girl to being in the middle when Khalid came along. Khalid: Yeah, she was evil.

13. Which one of you is more likely to turn out like your mum or dad?

Zaid, Farid and Khalid: Farrah! Farrah: True... Zaid: Farrah is just Mum but younger, it’s scary! Khalid: Zaid is kind of like Dad though. Farrah: He is, but let’s be fair, even Zaid has more humour than dad!

14. Which one is most likely to have a big family?

Farid: Farrah. Farrah: What? Zaid has triplets and he’s adopting Lucie! I have Hadi. Farid: Come on, you have Hadi, Harry’s younger brother and sister still live with you...Lloyd and Jelena and you’ve got guardianship of Benny. You’re like Susan Kennedy with fashion sense. Farrah: I’m glad you added that last bit. Khalid: I could have lots of children that no one knows about. Farrah: You can’t get your pillow or your socks pregnant, Khal. Sorry!

15. What is one thing about your sibling(s) that has changed as you’ve gotten older?

Zaid: Farrah has become more responsible and it’s pretty scary! None of us would have guessed that she’d be a mum with a full house. Farid: Yeah, that was a shocker! Khalid has become a lot more mature and handles things a lot better without being... Farrah: A dick. Khalid: Hey...wait, that’s pretty fair. Farid: That pretty much. Farrah: Zaid is toning it down with the career stuff now that he’s a dad. It suits him a lot more and he’s happier. Khalid: Farid is a lot more...well he’s himself. He was always quiet and awkward and he still is, but we know he’s not hiding anything.

16. Who’s better at maths?

Khalid: Farid. Zaid: No competition there.

17. Who is more pessimistic and who is more optimistic?

Farrah: Farid can be a bit pessimistic, but Khalid and I are optimists. I don’t know about Zaid... Zaid: I’m a realist. Farrah: You’re something, but the label fell off.

18. Is there anything you don’t like doing together?

Zaid: Watching TV. Farrah and Khalid won’t shut up. Farrah: I’ll second that, you watch some shit on TV. Farid: Zaid is the only one who’ll really play video games with me. The other two are sore losers. Khalid: I hate playing football with Farid. Farid: I hate playing football.

19. Which one of you do you think will get married first?

Zaid: Sophie and I are engaged, but Farrah and Farid aren’t far behind! Farrah: Don’t scare me, I’ve had enough commitment to last me a lifetime recently. I wouldn’t discount Khalid, he could surprise us with Edyta...if she gets her act together. Khalid: No comment. Farrah: What’s that meant to mean? Farid: He’s already married. Farrah: WHAAAT? Khalid: I’m not...but Farid is taking Drew to Champ Les Sims to propose... Farid: Shut up. Farrah: Tell me everything.

20. Lastly, how often do you argue?

Zaid: Farid and I don’t really, but Farrah likes arguing. Farid: I’ve had a few arguments with Khalid too. Farrah: Khalid is a dick. I grew up with three brothers. It was a shitshow and they all annoyed me. Can you blame me? Khalid: Yeah, I can. Farrah: Shut up, Khalid.

Grouping these all together because a whole bunch of things happened today and there is a lot to talk about. For those who haven't seen, Georgia posted an Insta story of the sunset, which was followed by an extremely similar picture/Insta story from AL about an hour later. Shortly after that, Anna posted another story of Lyra and Birdie baking side by side, which Georgia also reshared:

Right off the bat, one thing in particular stood out about AL's story: Her using the hashtag #bakingwithsheenant, which differs from the tags she and Georgia normally use (#Sheenbergnants or something to that effect). It especially caught my attention because "Sheenant" is one of the ship names used in the fandom for Michael/David (though it is not a term I normally use). AL could have easily been referring to Lyra and Birdie in the photo, of course, but...of all the portmanteaus and hashtags AL could have chosen, she went with that one, and all I can say is that if it was nothing more than a fluke, then it was one hell of a fluke for her to make.

As if all this weren't enough, however, we then have what @phantomstars24 has mentioned, which is another story that Georgia shared just a little while ago:

To what was said in the Asks above, if this is true, it would absolutely mean that Michael and David are also neighbors, and that my head feels like it's slightly melting. Because there is no way in hell Michael bought a house in London next to David by accident. A meteorite has a better chance of hitting the Earth and bringing back the dinosaurs as our reptilian overlords than that does of being an accident.

Also if Michael and David are together as part of some poly arrangement, I can't think of a better way for them to ensure that they can see each other all the time. The number of possibilities are limitless: Random sleepovers, snuggling on the couch for movie date night, unwinding with a glass of red wine after they've had a long day doing their respective plays. Thinking as well of how we saw Michael and David looking at each other at opening night of Macbeth, now the chances of them going home together afterward have shot up by about a million, and I can hardly get my mind around it. I mean...dear God...

As for Georgia's "So linked!" sounding sarcastic, I could definitely see that as sarcasm. The sunset pictures from earlier seemed very planned, and even more so once we saw the baking picture. I saw some reactions from fans calling AL and Georgia "besties" once the Insta stories were posted, but I'm not exactly sure how those posts make them besties. The way Georgia posts about Anna is entirely different from how she posts about Jennie Fava, whom we know actually is one of Georgia's longtime best friends, so that difference makes it difficult for me to see why people see Georgia/AL in that light.

And if they are frequently getting together because of that proximity/because it is easier for Michael and David to have one house to themselves while AL, Georgia, and the kids are in another, I could see some degree of resentment existing on Georgia's end, especially if she feels like more of a babysitter than anything else. It's difficult to say for certain, of course, but we also have so many instances now of Anna copying Georgia on social media that I would imagine it has started to feel like a bit of a "me and my shadow" routine.

In any case, we have a lot of little pieces here that only give us a small glimpse at the whole, but boy, are they some very interesting pieces indeed. I think what strikes me most about all of this is that these stories also allude to Michael and David spending time together, yet we never actually see any pictures of them. (I have an Ask related to this waiting in my inbox, so I will expand more on that in a bit.) But we are being given room to think that, and to draw certain conclusions as a result, and I think both Georgia and AL know that and seemingly do not have a problem with it.

So yes, those are my thoughts on all the developments from today. Glad as always to hear from my followers and what your thoughts are on all this...

So, thus far, we know that Michael's nicknames for David are:

1. Dai (Welsh pet name for David that also means "beloved.")

2. The Thin Dark Duke

...I love that these nicknames are so personal and so uniquely Michael. I love how they speak perfectly to the way he sees David, and to the relationship between them. Intimate. Sensual. So full of thought and feeling (because of course Michael would have a Welsh nickname for David, since both are so close to his heart). Nicknames that show how everything about David--body and soul--has filled Michael's senses and utterly enchanted him.

Now if only we could find out what David's nickname is for Michael. Other than "emotional support pet," of course...

It’s the sequence of the events for me. GT made an inappropriate post about her kid’s bday as an excuse to brag about her sex life. The next day MS goes unleashed on xitter, with 4 posts revolving around DT, starting with liking that beautiful half naked aziracrow art and then the “i set david on fire fairly regularly” tweet. He doesn’t feel the need to brag, but he isn’t subtle. People can read this however they like, but…

The astonishing thing is that Michael's streak on Twitter (I'm sorry, I can't call it X or Xitter, it's too ridiculous) has continued today. He replied to an Aziraphale/Crowley fanart this evening, and he also responded to this:

And there were a lot of things happening this weekend (as we saw in this post from @invisibleicewands), so the fact that he again chose to focus on David seems very telling.

This all becomes even more intriguing when you realize that he was in London this weekend, so very possibly could have been in attendance at Birdie's birthday party, which also adds some interesting potential implications to Georgia's Insta post/Michael's "I set David on fire regularly." And if he is set to remain in London for the next month or so rehearsing to play Aneurin Bevan on the West End, then regularly seems like it could take on a whole other, more literal meaning.

What you said really sums it up, though: That unlike Georgia, Michael doesn't feel the need to brag, but he's definitely not subtle about things, either. So taking all of this together--the events of the past few days, knowing Michael is London, and the probability of him seeing David--it definitely does make it difficult to not see all of this as euphemisms/coded expressions for whatever is actually going on. I guess we'll just have to see if Michael keeps tweeting/replying to tweets about David. I'm betting he does...

How are you doing after all the lovely new GO/David and Michael content we got today? I'm just so happy they're back together again, and that we are getting so close to season 2!!!

Hi, Anons! Oh my goodness, what a day it's been. Anon #1, you've asked how I'm doing, and the truth be told, I'm genuinely emotional. I don't think I truly realized how much I missed seeing Michael and David together until we finally got them in the same interview today, and those photo call pictures.

The thing is, it's not as if we haven't seen them at all over the last year, as both Michael and David have been busy with work and different projects. They've both done interviews and appearances on their own, but there's just something that comes into being when they are together that's missing when they're by themselves. This third thing between them, that is so palpable it's almost visible. We know Michael and David are closer now than ever, but it's as if the chemistry between them has grown and transformed into something much, much deeper.

To your point, Anon #2, I absolutely did notice that Michael and David nearly held hands at the beginning. I think it was Michael who attempted first, then David, before they settled on linking arms:

What gets me about this--what got me earlier when I watched it and still does now--is how instinctive and natural it was for them to reach for each other's hands. I had a feeling prior to this, but it seems almost certain that they have held hands before. Neither one of them hesitated for a second, except for seemingly having to stop themselves from holding hands and linking arms instead. The contrast becomes even more stark when you see the video of Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana walking onto the set in a similar manner--it's incredibly awkward, and there is none of the warmth or chemistry that Michael and David have in abundance.

The other part that stood out to me about this woefully short and inadequate interview was how toned down Michael and David both were. This is particularly noticeable when Michael is describing Good Omens and refers to David/Crowley as "my best buddy":

There is a lot happening here, not the least of which is both of them looking completely disgusted as Michael says that (the "meh" head nod from David, and then Michael sucking his cheeks in and looking like he's choking on his own bile). I think both of them were/are under specific instructions not to talk about the second season or share anything that could be construed as "spoilers" (including but not limited to The Thing, which you know they were both dying to talk about), so that is certainly a large part of why this went the way it did.

But there does seem to be more going on beneath the surface. We saw David in the photo call earlier today wearing a "Leave Trans Kids Alone" t-shirt under his jacket. Yet here on the One Show, he is no longer wearing the shirt. It doesn't seem farfetched to guess that the BBC asked him to change out of the shirt, and Michael--not wanting David to stand out for the wrong reasons or get flak for it--changed his own clothes in solidarity.

The strangeness is further compounded by something that was pointed out to me by several folks via DM, which is that in the pictures from the photo call, David is visibly not wearing his wedding ring:

As we know, David always wears his wedding ring, which makes its absence even more conspicuous. Could he have simply forgotten it on the nightstand in Michael's hotel room? Sure. But what makes things even weirder is that he is indeed wearing the ring on The One Show. So, to recap: David is not wearing his wedding ring when he has the trans pride t-shirt on in the photo call, but he is wearing it when he doesn't have the trans pride t-shirt on on television.

What this leads me to think is that someone--the BBC? Amazon? PR?--is making some specific (homophobic) marketing choices, which in this case means trying to sell the show to a mainstream (a.k.a., straight) audience, and therefore told Michael and David both to tone down the gayness (as if that's even humanly fucking possible for either of them) overall, but especially when talking about the characters/plot.

Taking all of this into account, what happened later in the interview is even more glorious, which is Michael giving the biggest "fuck you" to all of the above (BBC/Amazon/PR) by doing what he does best: Being Michael--because when can he not?--and (again) calling David's hips "slinky," followed by getting in a good, long, loving, sexy stare:

All of this leads me to your comments, Anon #3. I know you had sent this prior to now, but I wanted to include your Ask here because I think it speaks to exactly what we saw today. I've thought about what you've mentioned so many times, because that's exactly what I think Michael and David do and are for each other--a safe place, and they have truly helped each other through some of the hardest times in their lives.

Thinking about David's anxiety, I find that especially poignant given today's events, and how vocal David has become in recent months. I think he deliberately wore that trans rights shirt and that rainbow pin because he knew how much reach they would get...but at the same time, I am sure he knew the risk of doing so, and that it would set him up as a target.

It's very easy to imagine David feeling that anxiety before the photo call today, knowing what he was going to do, and Michael calming him--maybe even holding him in his arms if they had some time alone this morning. And when they came out onto the set of The One Show, you could see Michael nearly bursting with pride and love as they walked together. Even when they got flustered nearly holding hands, as soon as they linked arms, they both became so calm. It felt as though Michael and David were a united front--on their side--and while David flashed a big smile to the camera, Michael could not have given two shits about it, because he was holding onto David and never letting go.

Michael couldn't say the things he wanted to today, but that's not what today was about. It was about him stepping back and giving David room to be in the spotlight and to shine. Soothing David's anxiety and encouraging him to be vocal the way Michael has been for the past four years. He's supporting the man he loves, and it is so beautiful to see.

So yes, those are my thoughts on the new GO and Michael/David content from today. I'm truly hoping that Michael and David have an opportunity to do an interview where they can be totally unleashed and say exactly what it is that's on their minds. But I'm still so glad to see how much relief and joy it brings them to be back together again, and I hope they'll get to do it a lot more in the weeks ahead. Fingers crossed...

You know what's one little press tour moment we never talk about even though it's Michael being SUPER loud about his obsession with David's body again? The Most Likely game Michael and David played with Neil and John for Prime. We're 43 seconds into the video and Michael says "David keeps his cards very close... to his sylphe like chest". Why not just say chest. What the fuck haha. I also love how everyone just decides to politely ignore that comment, because it's so weird to go there, like, all right Michael, calm down. It's so extra and it's such a Michael thing to say and it comes out with so much conviction and I think it's hilarious. Especially with the man he's aggressively comparing to some sort of fairy sitting right next to him. (Sylph: "A slender graceful girl or young woman"/"an elemental spirit of the air". Anon, I almost choked when I read this message, because I damn near completely forgot Michael said that (and thank you for including a link and timestamp!). Here’s a gif of the moment, which is just truly jaw-dropping (but I encourage everyone to watch the video as well for the full effect):

Everything you said is so accurate, too, because it’s not just what Michael says here, but the way he said it. He practically hisses/growls out the word “sylph,” with a mix of that carnal aggression you mentioned and a sort of...(barely) concealed possessiveness. And it is, indeed, an incredibly specific descriptor, with connotations about David’s physique that seem far more intimate than what people who are “just friends” would know about each other.

It’s also that "sylph” not only fits, but speaks to Michael thinking about David’s body and studying it long enough to have arrived at that description. And we know that he has, because one year later, Michael referred to David’s hips as being “slinky”:

So there is most definitely an established pattern of Michael being loud about his obsession with David’s body (as you so perfectly put it, Anon). There is also something inherently erotic about discussing someone’s hips, and using the word “sylph”, especially for a man (in my opinion). These particular observations demand a purposeful gaze--that is, something more than just what you would see when someone is wearing clothes.

Does this mean Michael has seen David’s naked chest, his bare hips? I would venture a guess that the answer is yes...and not just in passing, or while getting into costume during filming. It’s the sensuality of the way Michael talks, as if he has personally explored every inch of David’s sylph-like chest and slinky hips with his hands, his lips...his everything.

(Also, the question that preceded all of this was “Who is better at keeping secrets under wraps?” and David votes for himself and says “I’ve been doing secrets for a number of years now” and then comes the freaking hilarious irony of Michael saying what he did. Thank god ONE of them is good at keeping secrets...)

But yes, I love Neil and Jon just tastefully ignoring the comment and continuing on with the interview. Even though David doesn’t let his reaction show on his face, I love that he and Michael are sitting hip-to-hip (in contrast to the clearly visible space between David and Jon Hamm), and I think that says more than any words ever could.

Thank you again for bringing this up, Anon. I’m so glad we got to revisit this delightful moment. Hopefully there will be lots more to come on the GO 2 press tour. If Michael has his way, I think we will...

For me, it’s the fact that Michael drifts off just from staring at David and getting lost in his beauty/reaction in that sweet little moment...

The outtake is from episode 8 of season 2, which continues to be the gift that keeps on giving, because Michael noticeably could not stop staring at David intently during that entire scene:

The other thing is that Staged isn’t even the first time the “drifting off/distracted by David” thing has happened, either. Like there is an actual documented pattern of Michael doing it as far back as the GO premiere in 2019. You love to see it...

I'm watching a recording of all of Michael's panel (incredible!!), and I had to stop and write you in the middle because they showed a quote of him saying in the past "I want to be taller, thinner and more rakish looking", and he said "I'm saying I would like to look like David tennant". He REALLY love the way David looks if this is his association.

(I also loved what he said about the way he feels about his looks later, really worth listening to)

Hi there! Oh, yes, I loved that moment for sure. (For those who haven’t seen the full panel, by the way, you can watch it here.) And this is the picture they showed:

What was fascinating to me was that, by his own admission, Michael told the interviewer he didn’t even remember saying that quote...but his mind still immediately went to David in that moment. It’s very much the same thing we just heard on the interview David recently did with Paapa Essiedu where Michael was brought up first, and then David mentioned him again later in the interview, without prompting. The interviewer for the MCM panel brought up David first, and then Michael mentioned him again later in the panel--not once, but twice.

And of course we know that Michael absolutely loves the way David looks, given the frequency and intensity with which he’s discussed David’s appearance and body in the past. The second mention was another instance of Michael gushing about David’s performance as Des, just as he did on the Scottish BAFTAs last year while looking utterly smitten:

So for me it’s the fact that people immediately and intuitively connect Michael and David with each other, and then that one little planted seed ends up bearing so much fruit. It’s that Michael and David keep thinking about each other after someone has brought one of them up. It’s that in both cases, they seemed to just be waiting for another moment to glowingly praise each other (Michael complimented David’s looks; David praised Michael’s talent at mimicry). And it’s also that Michael and David both very clearly hold a special place in each other’s hearts, perhaps more than we even know.

Also, I was surprised but very glad to hear Michael say that he likes the way he looks, especially because he seemed to really be struggling with it a few years ago (the “fat suit” incident on the GO 1 press tour comes to mind). There could be any number of reasons for this, of course, but in that part of the panel Michael intertwined his comments about his own looks with what he finds most attractive/sexiest in a person, and one thing he said was, “Someone who makes you feel good about yourself.”

Knowing that he spent several months last Fall and then earlier this year filming GO season 2, it’s hard not to think that David--who would never hesitate to tell Michael how good he looks, or how brilliant it is to act alongside him as Crowley--is part of the reason why Michael is now feeling so positive about his appearance. Such a lovely thought.

So thank you sharing this with me, because that MCM panel was truly wonderful and served as yet another reminder of how wonderful it is to listen to Michael speak (especially about David). Thanks for writing in! x

I wonder if David will make an appearence at the convention tomorrow, I really hope so!

Hi, Anon! Well, that would certainly be pleasantly unexpected and quite lovely indeed, and I don’t think any us would probably survive it. Michael already looks so happy and animated from the pictures that have been shared today, so having David there on top of that would probably send him into the stratosphere. David does have the day off from Good tomorrow, so it’s not impossible, but...well, who knows.

Even if he doesn’t make an appearance, though, there are still so many other lovely possibilities to consider. Michael texting David throughout the day about everything that’s happening. Michael coming home to David afterward, spending the night with him, lying in David’s arms chattering excitedly the way he did on David’s podcast, telling him about everything he did, everyone he talked to, all the Aziraphale and Crowley cosplays he saw, and David only interrupting to give him a few soft kisses and remind Michael to breathe, that he doesn’t have to share everything at once because they have all the time in the world together.

I hope he’s right. I hope Michael and David have had that time to spend together, perhaps during this previous week (if Michael stayed in London after seeing David’s play). It’s not hard to think that so much of the happiness Michael feels today is from meeting fans of GO, from having so many memories of David and filming the second season earlier this year come rushing back. That, and perhaps also from getting to see and be with David for an entire week before he leaves for Australia.

Love fills Michael up in a special way. We can see it, see the way he glows, especially in contrast to how different he looks when that feeling is absent. And I’ll take that and knowing that David is so much a part of it over a convention appearance any day of the week (but of course, it would still be wonderful if he was there).
