Every Hopper!Reader fic I find forgets what happened to Sarah this one doesn't
Mixture of first and third person POV
____________________________________
I thought life was perfect I had a loving mother and father. I even had a little sister, Sara, that was basically a bilt in best friend. That was all until she got sick, horribly sick, that she ended up passing away from.
Life changed after that. No one processed the death well. My mom blamed it completely on my father. I still remember the fight. I was supposed to be asleep.
"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME" mother's voice echoed though the apartment
"Diane please calm down"
"CALM DOWN YOU SERIOUSLY THINK ILL CALM DOWN AFTER YOU LIED TO ME FOR YEARS"
"I didn't lie to you"
"OH AND WHAT WOULD YOU CALL NOT TELLING ME THAT WE HAVE TO WATCH OUR KIDS DIE"
"I didn't think it would happen after they came out healthy"
"AND WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME WHEN I FOUND OUT I WAS EXPECTING"
"Because-"
"BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T REALLY CARE DID YOU" He didn't reply to scared to speak "IM RIGHT AREN'T I WELL YOU CAN BE THE ONE TAKE CARE OF Y/N UNTIL SHE DIES"
She left slamming the door. He cried for the rest of the night. I only found out years later what that fight was about. She only came back to grab her share of things barely even looking at me.
It wasn't long after that we moved to New York City. He became a police officer there meaning he was gone half of the time and the other half he was drinking.
I had to take care of myself for years. There were good days where he would be the same loving father I knew from before. Those days gave me hope he would get better.
The worst bit of living with him was every cold, every sickness ment I went to the hospital. He freaked out at every cough.
Eventually I got tired of it and called I my mom repeatedly asking her to take me. A bunch of calls later and she finally gave in.
He agreed to let me go as long as he got to see me for holidays. Years passed, he moved back to Hawkins, and I saw him get better and better but I was afraid to move back afraid he would get worse again.
When I visited him again for Christmas vacation he showed up with his normal dorky smile giving you a nice warm hug. The normal stuff he did every time he picked me up.
"I have something to show you" he said after getting into his car
"Let me guess a Christmas surprise"
"Something like that"
We spent most of the drive catching up from the several months we were apart. I was surprised when he pulled into the woods and stopped.
"are we going to chop down a Christmas tree"
"Nope just follow me"
We walked deeper into the woods and there was a cabin. I was so confused I was about to walk slightly ahead of him but he stopped me pointing at a trip wire leaving me more confused.
When we got to the cabin he knocked on the door in small increments.
"What are you doing"
"Knocking" before I could question more the door opened. I look inside to find a kid with short hair. They looked even more confused then I was "Y/n I'd like you to meet your new lil sister El"
"So you brought me out here to show me a kid and say it's my sister" he looked baffled at my response "so were you cheating on Mom and just found out you had a bastard child or what"
"Bastard?" She said listening in on the conversation
"Don't say that word" he said pointing at her before pointing at me "and no it's not like that"
"Well she's the right age"
"Just don't tell anyone about her"
"Why your afraid having a bastard child will ruin your reputation Chief"
"No she's not my child-"
"Oh so then you stole her that's even worse"
"No you wouldn't believe me if I told you the truth"
"That's just an excuse not to tell me"
"Maybe... I'll tell you later just please try to bond with her she doesn't have anyone else"
"You better be treating her better than you treated me" I said heading for the door
"Where are you going?"
"To get my suitcase"
I ended up staying at in the same room as her. A couple days had passed. Her and I played bored games for most of the days while he occasionally joined in. But now he was out on a emergency call
"So what's your story"
"Story?" She asked confused
"You know your life story" she looked more confused "Ok how about I ask you questions and you give me answers"
"Ok"
"If you aren't his child how did you fall under his care"
"He saved me"
"Ok not very descriptive but I'll take it. Where are your actual parents"
"Gone"
"Ok then. Why is your hair shaved did your Mom want a boy or what" before she could answer there was a knock at the door "I'll get it"
"No" I stared at her confused as she let the knock finish. I heard the latch unlocked and quickly turned my head as the door opened
"What the fuck was that"
Eventually I got an explanation to everything but I didn't believe him who would. I tried to leave to call my mom and child protective services but as I tried to open the door it slammed back shut. I knew then he was telling the truth.
He begged me to move back in with him and I agreed after the school year was over.
****1st person****
"Park here please" Y/n said sitting in the car with her father
"Why"
"Because kids are going to hate me if they find out I'm the Chief of police's daughter"
"Good point"
He pulled over letting her out saying a good bye as she headed off. She had to start the school year late because it took he awhile to move and get the legal work done for her to go to school.
Her mom didn't care about her leaving in fact she was happy. Really proving how much she really cared.
When she arrived at her class the teacher stopped her before she could sit down.
"let's all welcome the police chief's daughter" the teacher said as she glared at her. Instantly all the kids started mumbling loudly.
'I thought the Chiefs daughter died' 'No that's her sister' 'I wouldn't want to do anything with her she will probably tell her father' 'She's probably a snitch' were said by multiple people.
It was practically revealed to the whole school by lunch time so it surprised her when she a man leaned against the locker next to hers. She tried to ignore him at first expecting him to have eather gotten the wrong locker or he was a bully. But he was persistent.
"You going to make me stand here all day, darling" he said grabbing her attention
"Oh I didn't even notice you"
"Now I know that's a lie I can tell you were trying to ignore me"
"And how would you know that"
"Because no woman can not notice me" he said that in a sarcastic and charming way "I'm Billy Hargove I'm new here"
"I'm Y/n I'm also new"
"Oh so your the girl everyone is talking about" she let out a sigh hanging her head down of course he knew. She expected him to leave but he stayed.
"Your not going to avoid me"
"Our parents don't define us sweetheart" he smiled at her "Can you answer a question for me though. How can you be the Chiefs daughter and still be new"
"I lived with my mother up until recently"
"And another question will you go to this party with me" he said handing her a orange flyer.
"I don't know my father's really strict and practically everyone here hates me already"
"They won't recognize you in costume" he joked
"Fuck it I'll sneak out"
"We'll rule over this school together deal"
"Deal"
She found herself thinking about him the rest of the day.
********
She made up an excuse for why she wasn't going back to the cabin telling her father that she made some friends she was going to hang out with. She then went to the Halloween store buying a slutty costume.
When she arrived at the party she saw Billy upsidedown doing a keg stand with people all around him chanting 'chug'. As he was let down he noticed her.
"You actually came" he said walking over to her
"What did you take me for a pussy Hargove"
"This costume looks good on you Y/n" a blush crept up her cheeks at his complement "Let's go inside and dance"
********
They danced and drank for awhile but eventually grew bored and went outside to talk on the back steps. He lit up a new cigarette as he sat.
"So where are you from" she asked trying her best to relax on the hard concrete
"We're just going to do small talk" he chuckled
"Come on tell me" she nudged his side
"Fine, California"
"I want to go there eventually, visit Disneyland, I've never been to the beach actually"
"Alright now you need to tell me where your from"
"The city an hour away, but I did live in New York for awhile"
"You lived in New York and didn't see the beach"
"Yeah that's what happens when you live with a depressed asshole" he looked at her with confusion "My father, My Mother didn't want me after my sister died. I had to beg her to take me in and even then she treated me like shit. Sorry I'm over sharing"
"It's ok my parents aren't the best eather" He gave her a comforting look. His eyes moved down to her lips. Slowly he moved twords her lips giving her plenty of time to push away if she wanted to. Her lips were soft and tasted of vanilla chapstick.
They kiss for awhile before Billy pulled away. He stood up and offered his hand to her. She took it standing up. He lead her away from the party twords his car.
********
It all was a blur arriving at his house, stumbling to his bedroom, taking off each other's clothes. He wasted no time getting down to business. But for his lack impatience he sure as hell had stamina.
It was nearing on an hour now and he was still going strong.
"Please Billy it's to much" she sobbed out
"Come on I know you have one more in you, just one more" she let out a whine as he continued to pound into her. He moved his hand down to play with her swollen clit.
He let out a loud groan, his cum filling her as her walls fluttered around him. He rested on his elbows, lightly putting his weight on her, as he caught his breath. Slowly and carefully he pulled out and grabbed a wipe out of his bed side table, wiping them both clean.
He moved away from the bed, pulling on a pair of boxers. She sat up and started to feel insecure. Was he just using her for a release? Sure she enjoyed it but he probably won't talk to her again after this.
"You ok" he saw the way she played with her thumbs.
"Yeah I'm fine"
"Are you sure"
"Yep... Um can I stay the night. I told my dad I wasn't going to be home tonight thinking I could sleep-" he stopped her ranting by cupping her face being surprisingly gentle.
"Of course" he surprised her even more when he invited her to cuddle.
********
When Billy woke up Y/n wasn't in the bed with him. Nor was she in the room. He shouldn't of been surprised most girls didn't stay the night and none of them stayed till morning. So why did this time sting so much.
He let out a shakey breath as he sat on the edge of the bed. Just then the door to his room opened and she walked in. She wore his shirt which covered her entire torso down to her mid thighs. She noticed his stare and started fiddling with the hem of the shirt.
"Um I-I had to use the bathroom I'm sorry if I woke you"
"I didn't even notice you leave" it came out ruder then he ment
"Oh Ok" she moved looking for her clothes from last night. Quickly getting dressed and moving to leave.
********
It had been a few days since and Billy couldn't get her out of his mind. He tried to move on find the next girl. But every time he walked up to a girl he saw her sad stares out of the corner of his eye. It shouldn't have effected but it did.
He tried the tactic of leaning on the locker next to her again. But once again she was ignoring him. "Hey" he tried to get her attention, slightly shuting her locker. She only gave him a glare. As she finished with her locker and tried to walk away, he grabbed her hand.
"Fuck off Billy" she broke out of his grip.
"Come on Y/n"
"No. I'm not going to let you do this again, you fucking used me just because I'm new. Why don't you just use one of the whores who will drop at your feet"
"What happened to us ruling the school together" she paused
"That was just a line"
"Maybe it was maybe it wasn't eather way I can't get you out of my mind"
"Fine one more date but that's it"
That wasn't the only date they would go on together

What I want for all of the characters on the show right now (A mostly comprehensive list)
Aaron - Post spiral, give him Seb. Let him be a single dad. Give him a new friend (a new character, Billy, Vic/Matty/Amy) Have him either get a new partner at the scrapyard or get rid of it altogether and buy into the garage so he can interact with people again from time to time. Also...overalls.
Liv - Get her away from Aaron. Let her mix with the teens again. Especially the Gabby/Leanna/Jacob crowd. Explore her epilepsy in that setting. Explore her asexuality more. I’d love to see her realize she might have a thing for a girl.
Chas - Cheat on Paddy. Get out of that character suffocating relationship. Get her spark back.
Paddy - Break up with Chas. Take a holiday? Stick to scenes with Marlon?
Bear - LEAVE - He serves no purpose. Even less so now that Faith has gone too. He’s just dead weight and his and Paddy’s relationship is not interesting in any way.
Eric - I’d like to see the B&B more. I miss when we used to see him there with Val all the time.
David - I’d like to see him stay single for a while. Take more of an interest in Jacob and keep being a dad to Theo. Could have new parent stories with Vic or Chaddy (**shudder I know).
Leyla - I’d like to see her get to do more at Take a Vow, get to plan Sam and Lydia’s big village wedding and more. I would definitely be up for her and Liam if they want to go there.
Jacob - I’d like to see him actually continue to mention that he’s getting counseling and see some of the effects of that. If they don’t go with Liam and Leyla, I think he and Leanna properly together could be nice.
Liam - Keep being the amazingly fabulous person that he is. I’m sad we lost Bernice, but I do think he and Leyla really could work if they wanted to go there.
Leanna - I’d like to see her keep up her friendship with Gabby even though their parents aren’t together anymore. I’d be open to seeing her and Jacob actually date if their parents aren’t going to.
Gabby - I’d love to see Gabby get a bigger story. Let her start being a bit more adult. I’d like to see her get a job in the village. She could go back to working at the B&B but we actually see it. I’d love to see her get a real love interest or a big issue story. Rosie has proven she can handle bigger material with the Ashley stuff, so I’d like to see her get to do that again.
Diane - I’d love to see more of the B&B again in general. I miss it. I’d keep her to the comedy stuff. Let her interact with Eric more and Liam too. Maybe a few heart to hearts with Aaron since she’s the only one who will listen to him apparently.
Wendy - LEAVE - I really don’t know what purpose she serves once she eventually realizes Lee was a rapist and Vic wasn’t lying. I just want Vic to be free of these people and I don’t see what Wendy brings to the village and Vic shouldn’t have to forgive her for all of the harassment and the stalking and she shouldn’t have to accept her into Harry’s life. Just let Wendy go Emma Barton and babynap Harry and be done with it.
Luke - LEAVE - I don’t really have a problem with Luke but I’d rather Vic just get a fresh start away from all of Lee’s family. If he did stay though, I guess he could be a candidate for being Aaron’s friend as long as they built that up in a more natural way rather than him just happening to be there when he’s getting chucked out of clubs.
Victoria - Needs a fresh start for her and Harry. I think Vic is a character that needs to be rested for a while. She had a big year last year and I think she could just enjoy being a mum and juggling that with work and supporting her friends. I think in the second half of the year, perhaps they could explore her trying to date again. I just wouldn’t have it be Luke.
Matty - I know he just moved back to the farm, but I need him to move right back out again. Matty needs to have his own story, not just be stuck on Moira duty. I really really want to see them explore a relationship story for Matty again.
Amy - Since they’re obviously never going to give her any consequences for Frank’s death, I’d sort of just like to see her keep being a supportive friend for the time being. I think she’s good in that role. Or, and we’d have to see how it worked out chemistry wise, they could have Amy try and help Matty find a girlfriend and end up falling for him instead.
Kerry - Keep using her in small doses only. Her and Mandy make a fun comedy duo in the salon but they need to be kept at a minimum to appreciate them.
Cain - I’d like to see him have a thing with Cara again perhaps. If he’s ever going to get back with Moira, they need to take their time with it and really properly build it back up and make it stick this time.
Moira - Let her lose the farm for the love of god so a new family can move in. She needs a massive shake up as a character because she’s just going in circles. She needs off the farm and back in the mix of the village. I have considered the idea of her buying Charity out of the pub with the farm sale money. She could fight with Chas as they work out how to run the pub together. Give them both their spark back and that could pave the way for her and Cain to work things out if they want to go that way. She’d just have to learn to not drink the place dry first.
Nate - LEAVE - I want Cara to stay but Nate still seems pretty useless to me. I just don’t think Cain ever needed another kid in the picture. I don’t see what it does for him as a character. I don’t see why he should have to forgive Nate for what he did. So...what’s the point. Plus Pete is leaving so he won’t have him to help on the farm anyway. Mostly, I want him to facilitate Cara staying and then get run over by his own tractor or something.
Cara - I’ve liked her so far in the three episodes we’ve gotten of her. I’d be up for her staying for a bit and sorting Nate out or pushing him in front of that tractor and maybe having a thing with Cain or anyone else she wants to.
Charity - I’d love to see her get out of the pub and get back to using her business skills. I’d love to see some real conflict between her and Vanessa that lasts more than a week and a half. But if they’re going to ever get married, just let them get married and then let them have conflict or something. I’d love to see her continue to pay attention to Noah.
Vanessa - Again, conflict for her and Charity. Could be interesting to finally get her mum to come to the village. She could come for the wedding, cause some friction between her and Charity. I’d like them to continue her friendships with Rhona and Moira. She’s good in friend mode.
Noah - I think they’ve been doing well with Noah lately. I would like to see him and Charity work on their relationship more. I’d like to maybe see him mixing it up with the older teens again too. Maybe a crush on a girl.
Sarah - Same as Noah, I’ve liked what they’ve been doing with her lately. And I’d just keep her hanging out with the rest of the teens.
Ryan - LEAVE?? - I hate to say that because obviously having a disable character on the show is a good thing but he just never should have been Charity’s son. She didn’t need another kid and they haven’t done nearly enough with that relationship to make it worthwhile. They barely let him interact with his siblings. All he does is show up for occasional tech help. And he’s only up at Home Farm to facilitate Graham murder stuff so just like...do something with him or let him go.
Kim - Keep her interacting with the rest of the village. It’s the best version of her. I’d love to see her properly fall for someone and have real feelings rather than it all feeling like a manipulation.
Jamie - Keep him and Andrea separated. Let him keep this backbone he’s developed. I’d like to see him repair his relationship with Rhona post Graham because I did like it at the start. I think he and Belle could be good together.
Andrea - LEAVE??? - She’s another one who they either need to do something with or let her go. She might be the one to kill Graham and leave that way, who knows. If she’s going to stay, she needs to move into the village and get out of Home Farm and away from Jamie and make her own life. Get a proper friend, find someone new etc.
Rhona - Rhona probably needs a post Graham break. Then I’d just like to see her repair all of her relationships with everyone she’s hurt. As far a romance for her goes, I did consider her and Marlon getting back together. Although as things currently stand...that’s gonna take awhile.
Al - If they’re going to put him with Kim, I want real feelings. Mostly, I want them to let him be a real villain. The show needs a villain and the Al that first showed up in the village had that potential.
Ellis - LEAVE - Damnit Asan! I loved Ellis but New!Ellis just doesn’t work. I don’t know if he could if they actually gave him screen time and his own story but as it is now, I just want to ship him back to Dubai.
Billy - I really like Billy right now. I love that they’re keeping his relationship with Marlon going. I like him and Dawn. They could probably use some real conflict at some point too but so far, I like them as they are. If Al was going to go full villain, that could also provide some good material for him. He is a candidate for a friend for Aaron too. I know how he was introduced and that they never really resolved that between them but there’s always the chance for them to have a proper conversation about it and move on. I think they could be good for each other in the long run. Aaron is lost without Robert and Billy no longer has a proper Ellis, so it could work potentially.
Dawn - As I said, I like her and Billy together. I think they need to make a decision with Lucas once and for all. If she’s going to get him back, I think it could provide good material for her and Billy, dealing with having a little kid to parent.
Harriet - Zzzzzzzzzzzz - Is it time for a new vicar yet? Mostly, I think she needs to stick to the village events and the background snark because whenever she gets a real story, it’s just so dull.
Will - much the same as Harriet. He could stay or go, I wouldn’t care. He’s fine as village color I guess.
Marlon - He’s great as he is, serving up snark and food from the Woolpack kitchen. I love him playing support to everyone, he always elevates whatever scene he’s in. I’d love to see him get a love interest that is going to stick around for a while. Both he and April need that stability. If they can get past the Graham of it all, he and Rhona have always worked well together. So...maybe?
Zak - I assume Zak is off because of the actor needing the break. I hope Steve Halliwell is doing okay. Before Lisa got killed off, I always thought it would have been an interesting story for Zak to get killed off but for now he can just be if he ends up coming back.
Belle - I’d like to see her get more to do at the vets and I’d be up for her and Jamie.
Sam and Lydia - LET THEM GET MARRIED!!!! A big, crazy Sam and Lydia wedding is all I want. Also would like to see Lydia continue to deal with the Huntingtons stuff and her family.
Mandy - Like Kerry, she’s best in small doses. I like her up with the rest of the Dingles though. She is fun. I wouldn’t mind it if she stuck around a bit longer.
Vinny - I still don’t have a clue what’s going on with Vinny and who his parents are and if that will ever be relevant. If it’s going to be, I wish they’d just get it over with already. Other than that, if he’s staying, I’d like to see him actually leave Wishing Well and make friends with some of the other teens in the village.
Bob - Stick to bar work and stay the hell away from Wendy.
Brenda - Keep being you. I’d like to see them properly do something with her and Doug though because I forget they’re actually supposed to be together most of the time.
Doug - Let him plan a garden show or something insane like that.
Rodney - SMALL DOSES
Nicola and Jimmy - Keep being the legends you are. I want to see Jimmy get properly absolved for all of the Arthur/Archie stuff. I want to see so much more of Councilor Nicola. I’d like to see Jimmy take someone new on at the Haulage firm and maybe just sigh all the time that they’re not Robert because he was better.
Laurel and Jai - I want to see them stay together. I think they work well together. They just need to get through this Graham mess in tact and sort out their kids’ problems. I’d like to see them continue to blend their families though, maybe living together eventually. I’d also like to see Jai have some success in business. Either at the outdoor pursuits place or starting his own thing again.
Priya - LET HER BE A SHARMA AGAIN. Let’s forget Rakesh ever existed. GET HER A STORYLINE!!! GIVE HER A NEW LOVE INTEREST! Literally anything.
Rishi and Manpreet - I want to see his chocolate business grow some more. And for them to just keep being as they are.
Pearl - I MISS PEARL! I hope she’s okay. Any Pearl we can get is good.
Dan - Small Doses, stick to the background.
Pete - Please need to leave to go tend to your one remaining brother because his girlfriend got hit by a bus…
Tracy - Let Tracy find some business success again. I really liked her trying to start her own business. Or if Andrea goes, let her go work at Take a Vow with Leyla. Let her find love again too.
New Characters I want
A new family at Butler’s Farm - let them be a big family with multiple generations. They decimated the Bartons and the show needs another bigger family coming in all together to balance out all of the Dingles.
A new gay male character in his 20s to take the pressure off of Aaron needing to be in a relationship. I think it would be nice if they were friends though. Let the new guy have some crazy relationships of his own. Could be part of the new family.
Teen lesbian. Could be part of the new family too. I think it’d be nice to explore coming out or already being out for the younger generation. Also could be an interesting potential love interest for Liv.

Seven deadly gems part 4-Gowther
A few weeks after Veronica goes on her date, she wakes up and walks down the hall. She's half asleep. As are her sisters as they wish their father a good day as he had to go to work. After he leaves Veronica takes a sip out of her coff, glanced at the calander and just spit out the coffee in a panic. It was their father's birthday and they completely forgot.
So the girls in a panic go out to town to get heir dad some stuff. Yet, they don't know what to buy him. This ends up in hours of looking for the perfect gift. Except some how, they forgot about a tiny itty bitty thing. Just that they wrote a note telling the gems they would be home by lunch for when their dad gets home. So when they don't show up the gems figure their father cancelled their plans for lunch.
The gems are laughing upstairs watching tv and having jsut so much fun when the door opens. Meliodas just cheers a hi Elizabeth not turning around. Instead the girl's father asks who the hell they were and why they were sitting in on his couch.
Everyone freaks out mentally for a son's. For Diane it's to much with the pressure of everything else being put on her. So she begins to lose focus and shape back into her original shape which is a 30ft tall off coloured gem. When she starts to touch the ceiling, Ban poofs her just to keep her from breaking down the house. Yet, king starts arguing with him about proofing her. Meliodas meanwhile is just looking at the confused male wondering how he's going to explain this.
Meliodas sends his friends outside before explaining everything to Elizabeth's dad. He leaves out no details that are important, well the ones everyone else knows. He expects to find a new home for his friends. Instead Elizabeth's dad just gives a tired sigh before giving a tired laugh and sitting down. He just looks up tired and just explains he knew they were living there since the first two days they lived here, he just was waiting for someone to tell him. Meliodas is shocked at first and just asks why he would be okay with all of this. Again the o,dee human sighs and just says, "Elizabeth needs to be with someone from her own kind."
He then explains that back in the 80's, when he was a teen, he snuck off to this town with his friends to go see a concert. Whilst watching the whole thing he meet these weird looking people but, one caught his eye. She had the same silver hair as Elizabeth does today, had bright blue skin, had a blue gem stone that looked like it was in her skin, and she moved her bangs letting him see she only had one eye. He was so intrigued that he talked with her. This cycle continued everytime he snuck off with one of his buddies for a road trip.
The gem was a star sapphire who lived in a temple with a few other gems called the crystal gems. She fought in a war thousands of years ago and now lived on earth, with a few friends she fought with. Eventually he met these friends, each a different gem stone..or two. They all got to know each other. Eventually the star sapphire, whom he called Lunar, introduced him to his wife while she went out with one of his friends. Eventually, he got married and he stopped going as often. His friend moved up there though, he made sure to call every night. Then next thing he knew, he had two girls, his wife has just be diagnosed ovary cancer and given weeks to live, their dog died, and Lunar showed up on his doorstep one night in tears.
The crystal gems had been attacked and captured by a strange look male. Lunar's husband had also been killed. To top it all off, somehow she was having a baby, she had no idea how. All she knew was that she would die having the baby, leaving it all on it's own. At that moment her remembered speaking his mind and saying he would take on the baby, not really sure of what would happen next. His wife loved the idea, agreeing to help for as long as she could. They even gave Lunar a place to stay but, in the same house as a overly curious 2 year old and a grumpy 1 year old. Despite this, Lunar loved loving there for as long as she could.
Sure enough Lunar died having her daughter. The only way they knew she was dead was a bright light they saw coming from their shed and her screams. His wife got in the shed just as their friend died but, in her place laid Elizabeth as a baby, with two eyes. Two mismatch looking eyes. One bright blue like her mom's and the other yellow like her father's. Yet, her gem stone remains on her forehead, hidden by hair she grows out to cover both her hello eye and gem. After she was born, his wife found a reason to hang on for much longer. His wife was given 13 weeks to live, she lived for another 3 years before dying. During those 3 years, his wife gave their girls 3 years of pure happiness and fun. He tried to as well. Later down the line, when the Elizabeth was 12, they started to run out of money, since they used up all the money their mom left them, so he took more work hours. Since then, well he's tried to be there as much as he can.
So he's fine with them there, just so his girls can be happy again...just as long as their house stays intact. After all Elizabeth needs to know about her biological mother evetunally. He does plan to tell her on her 17th birthday this year. Yet, its better she finds out everything about her mother's species from other the same species as her mother. Then if she wants to cut him off, she can. Just as long as she's happy with herself and who she truely is, he doesn't care.
Lunch ends with the sins sitting down and talking with the older male, just getting some questions answered that they're to nervous to ask the girls. Like why there's bugs outside, cause Diane knows she should know it. It's just she doesn't, and she doesn't want to embarrass herself anymore than what she has already. King is also curious about what work is really. Cause he knows Margret is taking two years off to work and t money before going to her first choice university. But, to be honest he has no idea what it truely is on this planet. Ban just wants to know what movie ratings means...Veronica mentioned them once but, he had no idea what the hell they mean. As for Meliodas, he's asks about the human life span. Thankfully they get their answers without getting laughed at..that much.
Anyways the rest of the day involves the gems cleaning up the house, plus decorating it a bit for when the girls get home. They use balloons that were in a cupboard as longs as these weird paper things called streamers. They also cooked...okay Ban cooked, everyone else just tried to. Anyways Ban ended up cooking a whole dinner plus a cake by 6pm when the girls got back with the gifts they ended up deciding on, plus a few new tires on the car which ended up helping them get off the side of the road. They just sit down looking tired when their dad gets back. All three girls panic only to walk into the kitchen, see everything, then just kinda stand their in shock as their dad walks in. They play it off cool and just act like this was all planned. Meanwhile the gems are in basement wtachinga movie, enjoying everything on earth so far. The day ends with the girls watching a bunch of cartoons in the basement with their alien friends.
Time passes and the other following things happen that are I think are pretty fun.
Diane finds out what a bug is by somehow finding a bee and deciding to poke it while it was laying on the ground. Long story short she poofed once it stung her. She has been scared of human bugs ever since even though the girls assured her not all bugs were that bad.
Meliodas tried cooking all on his own. The food looked amazing but, well it tasted worse than what you would imagine. So the girls tried to help him learn to cook, he never improved.
King discovers body pillows. He claims one in the basement and never lets it go. He will literally carry it around the house when he feels like it just so he can take a nap.
Ban tries alcohol after the girl's father brings so home and hates how it tastes. So he gets drunk for an entire afternoon. This leads to the girls trying to hide a drunk man around their house all day.
Veronica goes on a few more dates. Nothing monumental but, it leads to her describing what a date is to the gems. Of course they decide to try this date stuff out and take each other out on a date to the bakery Margret works in downtown. It's rather funny to watch since they're obviously trying but, still have no idea what a date is, just what you do on it. Minus the kissing of course. Yet, once Gilthunder tells them that some dates involve that, Meliodas actually ask Ban what that is since he hasn't known any thee gems that would have kissed before. The whole thing is just entertaining to watch.
King finds out about what fusion is from Diane. He makes it his personal mission to be the first person to fuse with her.he tries to learn how to dance which kinda works...like he knows how to spin now. He just kinda doesn't know anything else.
The gems join in on the girl's game night. This ends up with Meliodas storming off, Diane being grumpy in a corner, king napping, Veronica yelling swears at Margret, Margert yelling loudly at her sister, Ban yelling at them both to shut up, Gilthunder sitting in the corner awkwardly and Elizabeth racing after Meliodas to try and calm him down. While they're arguing Gil slowly slides away the game of monopoly. Then he begs to play another game. Yet, pictornary ends up the same, jsut with different people screaming. Uno ends with King trying to beat the crap out of Ban for cheating. Candyland ends with glares at Diane who somehow won even though she doesn't know how to play. Go fish ends up with Elizabeth jooking around about how much she won. Finally they all find they can play the game of life together without it all exploding. The whole thing was just so tiring that Gil just fell asleep while everyone was getting along.
The girls try to show the gems what books are like. This ends up with King liking short stories, Ban liking a book he keeps hiding but, is a romance novel their grandmother used to own..or st least they're sure it is, Meliodas loved reading fanstay books and Diane reading very gore horror stories as well as manga. The manga makes sense but,the gore horror she seems to love a lot more for some unknown reason.
The girls try to show the gems horror movies. Ban kinda likes them. King hates them and hides behind which gem is closest to him, which is always Diane. Diane absolutely loves them. Meliodas on the other hand, he says he liked them but, he hid the entire time into Elizabeth side, covering his ears everytime there was a loud scream. It was like he was remembering something but, he never brought it up. So she never really talked about it.
The gems discover video games. Meliodas is pretty good at them, king is surpsingly good at them, ban...At least he's trying and Diane is kinda good at them.
Meliodas and Elizabeth fuse a lot more in Privatein the words by themselves. The only one who knows is Ban who takes it upon himself to learn more about the fusion.
Big moment:
A new girl's moves in down the street. She's Elizabeth's age but, she's rather sickly. Like she's lost a lot of weight and hair so the girls know it's something serious. Yet, Elizabeth some how befriends her. Which is a big deal. After all this is the first girl she's ever befriended that her sisters don't know. The gems however aren't sure how to feel about her. Since she moved it they need to stay inside more. King loves it, everyone else doesn't like it as much.
Anyways this all comes down to Elizabeth coming over to the girl's house. The girl panics and close the door, yelling at someone before bringing Elizabeth inside. They hangout for a while before Elizabeth does to the bathroom. Once she's done, the power goes out, which she finds odd. She starts feeling around for a light switch and instead has her hand rested against something. The light come back on showing a slightly purple gem.
"Who might you be?" He asks curiously, eyes glowing making Elizabeth scream so loud that the gems can hear her across the street.
Meliodas so break into the house and rushes to Elizabeth. He however soon comes face to face with another gem. He meets Gunther, one of their old friend. Nadja meanwhile is trying to calm Elizabeth down while her partner just stands there looking confused, wondering what the hell is going on much like she is.

What was done has been done and what was said has been said.
Summary: Set right after I’ll Be Seeing You. The sadness and the regrets are inevitable, but the end is not.
(Cheers; Sam Malone/Diane Chambers; Rated: T; Hurt/Comfort)
Sam Malone was still staring at the painting in his hand. He was no longer admiring it, rather he was deciphering what it was conveying. He never really grew an appreciation for art, no matter how much Diane tried to instill it in him and how much he really tried for her, but this one was different. It was a portrait of her. Although it was an abstract imagery of her, it reflected her much more than any fine art ever could. Through each brush stroke that made every line and curve and the colors that brought the canvas to life, he saw the sadness and the anguish she kept deep inside her. He saw the torment he stirred inside her heavy heart.
What was he thinking? Telling her to get out? Bidding her goodbye for the rest of his life just like that? He was just so furious at her! He felt betrayed by what she had done, going behind his back and getting her portrait done by that despicable artist he strictly told her not to. He had enough of her telling him what to do and what not to do, as if he was hers to dictate how his life should be lived. She drove him crazy and he was sick of it! He gently laid the painting down on the bar and gripped on the railings and bowed his head down. What was he thinking? She just brought out the worst in him at times!
He closed his eyes, trying to clear his head from the mess that had just happened. He shook himself up, trying to get rid of all the negative thoughts inside his head and warn off the negativity surrounding him. It didn’t work. The silence around filled him.
He thought about breaking up with Diane, maybe once or twice or a few times, whenever she snapped the wrong wires inside his head. He always thought breaking up with her would be the biggest and deepest sigh of relief he ever had in his life or the fastest and loudest banging of his fists on his chests with joyous cries of liberty. The reality was nothing like that. Instead, it was the most hollow emptiness he ever felt deep inside of him, as if everything he had was taken away from him.
The silence rung louder and louder with each undying effort to shut his eyes closed. His hands turned white with his grip on the rails growing stronger. His body stiffened. He pursed his lips together and furrowed his brows in deep concentration to warn off the misery that lured inside him. A few moments passed and soon he was shaking as he tried to hold himself together. Eventually, he began to lose his breath and his balance when he gasped for air and almost fell off his stand. He leaned against the bar in defeat and took in breaths of air.
It was in that moment of acceptance that his efforts were vain when he felt it. He felt the depression of the everything that had just happened, and it hit him like a million volts coursing through his body in an instant shock. He had lost his sweetheart, his dream girl, his right one, his love... and he had never felt so overwhelmed over a loss before.
Sam Malone wasn’t old, but he had definitely lived one hell of a life so far. In his life, he reached the highest of highs and fell to the lowest of lows. His life was no stranger to loss. He lost his baseball career and marriage. He almost lost himself to the liquid devil in a bottle. Through all the losses of his life, none of them ever hurt him quite like this one. He had cared about his career and his wife, but not like Diane. No, Diane was different all together. She was the only thing in his life that he had held onto so tightly. His grasp on her never quavered, through the good and bad times. No matter how much she enraged him to insanity, she made him the happiest he ever was in his life. She was the only person who made him try to change for the better, for her and even himself. He has his old habits that are hard to die out, he’ll admit that. His machismo and his womanizing are just some to mention. Regardless, there was no doubt in his mind that he would ever dare cheat on her. He cared for her - quite frankly, he loved her with the best of everything he had and everything he was. He would never hurt her intentionally. It was beneath him.
He let the one thing he had in his life that was most precious to him walk away from him and he had no one to blame but himself. He felt the crippling pain in his chest deeper and deeper and deeper when the realization hit him, and it crushed him beyond repair and he hated it.
He looked around the lonely bar. He didn’t know what to do with the damage he caused. Then, as if it called out to him, he saw it. It twinkled right before his eyes. He grabbed a beer mug from the bar and walked right over to the tap, poured himself a glass and placed it on top of the bar. He watched as the foam rose up to the rim. He looked down at the temptation in front of him. Oh, was he never more tempted to take a sip of amber happiness. He wanted nothing more but to forget. He wanted to forget about what happened, forget about his relationship, forget about her. He didn’t want to feel anything he was feeling at that moment, and that was exactly what he was going to do.
Nothing. She felt absolutely nothing. Diane Chambers barely felt the cold Boston breeze as she made her way back home to her building. She didn’t feel how heavy her feet were when she dragged them up the stairs to her apartment. She couldn’t even feel how her eyes were stinging from the tears she held back since she walked up the steps of Cheers.
As soon as she was home, she locked the door behind her, shrugged off her coat and kicked off her heels. Any other day, it would feel like weight being lifted off her shoulders but today it hardly made her burden any different. She leaned against her front door and let out a heavy sigh as closed her eyes. She felt so tired. She was through. She was empty.
Today’s events were the worst events she ever had in her entire life. She walked away from the man she loved so deeply, and he let her. This was it. Throughout their relationship, they’ve had multiple arguments and some of them almost leading up to the end of them until they both come back to their senses and apologize to one another. This time, this was not one of them. There was no turning back now. What was done has been done and what was said has been said. They we’re over. Oh, how she wished they weren’t over.
Diane loved Sam with every ounce of love that oozed out of her. He was a good-looking fellow with a mesmerizing charm. As much as she would never like to admit it, it wasn’t hard to see why all the ladies fell hard for him. Underneath his dim witted masculine jock persona, she saw through him and who he really was. He was a genuinely kind, caring, loyal and considerate man with integrity and a heart.
Their relationship was far from perfect. They were different people and they wouldn’t see eye to eye often. He had his infuriating moments and they would fight with each other like they were scratching nails up against the walls. In spite of that, she knew how much he deeply cared about her. He did things that proved that time and time again when the universe seemed to be giving them bumps on the road. He read War and Peace for her and he ditched skirt chasing escapades with his friends. She heard his conversation with Norm about finding “the one” (and how Norm pointed out that he found her). He really tried to change his old ways for her, and she knew. In every vicious dispute, she never once doubted how much he meant to her and she knew he did the same.
What hurt the most about all this was that it was Sam who told her to get the hell out. She never would have thought that he would be the one to end their relationship, especially how he did it. It felt he stabbed a knife straight to her heart. That was the worst their relationship ever was, but no matter how bad it got or if it were to ever get worse she didn’t and she never wanted to leave him. She was completely shattered when he still wanted her out even after she gave him the heartbreaking ultimatum she never thought she’d give. Even after she climbed up those stairs, she didn’t want them to end this way. She tried to go back down their, to fight for them and their relationship, but from where she stood in the middle of those steps she saw him walking away from the door and after how he kicked her out she thought it would be useless to even try so she retreated up those steps with a broken heart.
Maybe she should’ve treated him differently. Sam didn’t treat her nicely, but she didn’t treat him fairly too. She shouldn’t have forced him to try to change for her completely. Maybe she shouldn’t have berated him for every little thing he did that she didn’t like. Maybe she shouldn’t have forced him to do things he didn’t want to do either. Maybe she shouldn’t have said that their relationship was pointless and just filled with childish arguments. What they had was so much more than that.
Her thoughts don’t do any help with the immense aching inside her chest and she breaks down in sobs that she’s been trying to hold back as her back slowly slides downwards against the door. She had never felt so broken. The last time she cried this much was when she lost her childhood cat. Elizabeth was part of her life for so long and she loved her so much. The love she had for Sam was completely different, but she never loved anyone the way she loved him. She was never with anyone the way she was with Sam. No one could spark a torch in her when she was furious the way he did. No one had ever gone out of their way for her. No one has ever had a special place in her heart.
After a while that seemed to have lasted forever, she decided to get back on her feet. Her vision was a blur, her nose was runny and her cheeks were wet with the tears that continued to fall. She walked towards her drawers and began to grab some candles.
Sam was still standing in front of his beer-filled mug. He had picked it up and tried to raise it to his mouth but he just couldn’t. He tried again and again and again, but the most he’s done is lifting the mug up in the air before he placed it back down on the bar.
All he wanted was a little taste and all his troubles would be over. He wanted it so badly, it was agonizing. He desperately craved for just a tiny bit of his drink. He never thirsted for it the way he did at that moment.
He stared down at the mug head on. He wasn’t going to leave his bar until he had his fill. The darkness that reflected the lateness of the night and surrounded the bar was seeping deep within him. He looked to his side and suddenly the view brings back a memory to him. He stares out for quite sometime before he snaps back to the present and shrugs off the memory. This time he was going to do it and nothing was going to stop him. There was nothing that could stop him.
Once more, he takes the mug in his hands and lifts it up. He moves it closer to his lips and he holds it up there. He brings his lips closer to the mug that it touches the rim. All he has to do is to tilt it enough that the liquid pours right into his mouth. He closes his eyes to savor the moment as he’s about to do it when a voice from his memory comes creeping back into his mind and he pauses.
The memory he has is the last time he wanted a drink so badly. He remembered the way he opened himself a bottle, poured himself a mug full and stood in front of the beer mug so intensely in the dimly lit bar. It was when he lent his lucky bottle cap and he found out that it was lost in the middle of Kansas City. He had a pretty bad streak of bad luck before he found out the faith of his lucky bottle cap and he thought he would be doomed without it. What he remembers most from it wasn’t how low he felt at that point or how high he felt when he once again conquered his enticement towards alcohol. He remembers her, how she tried so frantically to cheer him up and stop him, how she silently stared at him fearing that he would do something terrible to himself that he was going to regret and how relieved she was when he didn’t. The voice that crept up in his head was hers, trying to frantically stop him from doing it.
Her voice only got louder every time he tried to tilt the mug up against his lips. When he hears her voice ringing out of his mind, he slams the mug down on the bar the liquid inside spills out of the glass and remains swish back and forth heavily. With a shake of his head, he throws down the remains of mug down the sink. He releases a deep sigh after he wipes down the bar of the beer that spilled.
He walks over to the side of the bar towards the door, the side where stood at that low moment of his life. He ran his hand across that side of the bar when he felt the carvings against his hand. He looked down at it and read it in his mind. SM + DC. It was engraved at her favorite corner of the bar. It was written on the bar forever. He remembered how he lightly scolded her for doing that, but gosh did he wish he appreciated it more when she first did it. That’s when it hit him.
When he was at that low point in his life, he turned upside down by taking the bottle cap of that last beer bottle he opened and claiming it to be his new one instead of heading back downhill after everything he’s been through to get back on his feet. Now he was at the lowest point his life ever reached. He knew that he had to do something to make it right before he were to back downhill again. No, he was not going to lose his battle this time.
He went inside his office to grab his baseball jacket before he headed out the door. He locked up the bar and headed up over to his red corvette. He began to drive, but he wasn’t heading home quite yet.
Diane was sitting on her couch with her legs wrapped around her arms in her candlelit apartment. She was still a mess of free falling tears and occasional sniffles. She lost track of time the moment she curled herself up on that couch. From the outside view of her window, she could see that it was either well late into the night or early dawn. She could care less, for all she knew.
She took a deep breath in as her sad thoughts filled her head once again when she heard a knocking on her door. Who could possible be at her door at this untimely hour? She honestly just wanted to ignore whoever was behind her door, but wasn’t going to be rude even in her state of distress. She got up on her feet, headed towards the door and wiped away her tears on her cheeks with the back of her hands. She unlocked all the locks attached and opened her door wide.
To her surprise, she saw Sam standing outside her door, looking as if he had a pretty long rough night. She looked up at him with a questioning look on her face.
“Sam, what are you doing here?” She asked him as softly and broken as she sounded earlier when she was about to leave Cheers.
He looked down at her and his heart broke harder than it did earlier. Her entire face was red and her cheeks were stained with tears. He hated seeing her cry, and hated it more than he was the reason she was in tears.
“I’m sorry.” He said with his hands hanging open loosely on his sides. “I’m so sorry. Please forgive me.”
They look at each other silently for a moment before Diane steps forward, falling forward to him, grips her long, slender arms around his shoulders and violently sobs against his chest. He instantly catches her in his own arms and pulls her closer to him. She’s thankful for his support on her because her knees were weak and she didn’t know how she could keep on her feet. Her tears soak through his shirt, but it didn’t bother him at all. He ran a hand up and down the small of her back and closed his eyes as he continued to utter his sorry’s against her ear.
Nothing else in the world mattered at that moment. Right now they we’re holding each other close together. That wasn’t it. They weren’t over.
It had been a couple of minutes since Sam arrived at her doorstep. They were seated across each other in opposite couches of her living room in silence. Right now, the silence was comforting but eventually one of them had to speak up and talk about what had just happened earlier that day.
Sam cleared up his throat. “I think we should talk about what went down at the bar earlier.”
Diane looked up at him from where she was seated and sighed. “I think we should too.”
He stood up from where he was seated and walked right over to the unoccupied space beside her and took a seat there. He looked at her straight in the eye. “Look, Diane, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for kicking you out of bar like that, and I’m so sorry for ending it the way I did. I was just so mad at the moment I wasn’t really thinking right. I never should’ve let you go and I will never, ever let you go again like that. I’m gonna try to better for you, Diane. I really will. I’ll make everything right again, I promise.”
She shut her eyes closed and took in a deep breath before she began to speak. “What you did to me awhile ago hurt me, Sam. I didn’t know how I was going to recover from this. I was so devastated. It was the worst you ever treated me.” She took in another deep breath before she continued. “However, it made me realize how unfairly I’ve been treating you too. I shouldn’t have tried to change you so much or forced you to do things you didn’t want or belittled you. I love you for who you are, Sam Malone. I’m sorry too.”
The way she looked up at him with her wide blue eyes really got to him. “Thank you, Diane. I’m so sorry for how I’ve been treating you too. I never wanted to hurt you or had any intentions of hurting you and I never will. I know there’s a lot I’ve got to work on about myself, but please believe me when I tell ya I’m trying my damn hardest and I’m really doing the best I can. There is no other woman for me but you, Diane. You really are the woman of my dreams.”
His words made her want to sob all over again. She felt them in her heart and she was simply speechless. “Oh, Sam...” she said as the tears began to spill once again. He grabbed her in an embrace as encircled her arms around his neck and cried on his shoulder. They held each other close together.
When her cries began to die down he looked down at the blonde resting on his shoulders. “So, are we gonna be okay, sweetheart?” He sincerely asked.
She gave him a teary smile. “We’re going to be alright.” She answered him back and he returned her smile with one of his own before he lifts up her legs to rest on his lap. She simply leans into him even more.
They weren’t okay, but they were going to heal together. They were going to make all their wrongs right. They had a lot to work on, but they were going to do it together. They were going to be better for each other. Right now, they simply need each other to assure them of that. They were going to get through this together.
Author’s Note: If you follow me on Twitter, then you probably have a pretty good idea how I ended up writing this. I finally watched I’ll Be Seeing You today and it just about crushed me. As soon as I finished watching the episode, the words to this flowed through me and I got on my laptop and typed this the whole day. I’ve never been able to type down a one-shot in one sitting so easily as I did now. I guess you can say that I am that devastated over their break-up. I know they’ll get through this even if they won’t be together for now, but for now I’m just really sad that they had to end this way (now I’m absolutely not excited to see I Do, Adieu and One for the Road). Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this story! I’ll see if I’ll write more some day again soon.
Disclaimer: I do not own Cheers. It was created by Glen Charles, Les Charles and James Burrows.

My fantasy of Robert’s exit and return
Idea: someone kills Lee. It gets pinned on Robert and it’s obvious he’s going to get life. Lee’s mom is outraged and tries to kill Robert. She thinks she succeeds and goes to jail. In reality, Robert survives but uses the opportunity to fake his own death and avoid jail. However, to give everyone a chance to move on, he doesn’t tell anyone.
Stricken with grief, Diane confesses to the murder. This causes a bunch of drama. She ends up going to jail. Aaron for sure blames her for Roberts death and never visits her. Vic does too but probably eventually forgives her and starts visiting her.
Anyway Rob and Aaron somehow managed to find a surrogate crazy enough to agree to have their baby lmao. Baby is born after Robert “dies”. It’s a girl named Annie. Something happens with Rebecca and Ross, and Aaron gets custody of seb, leaving him a single father of two.
After this, the story could go different routes.
1) Aaron meets someone. They get married. 2-5 years later Rob finds out Diane confessed and comes back. Aaron cheats on husband before he and Robert get back together.
2) same premise as above but it ends in polyam because I said so
3) Aaron never gets with anyone but when Robert returns he’s so pissed rob lied he makes Robert work for it for a few weeks/months lol.
Also would be good to have a storyline about Aaron’s mental health and finally get that boy some consistent therapy

25 Upcoming Robron Speculations
Some thoughts on next 8 weeks and beyond.
1. The fact Aaron ends up at the hospital at the birth has him dealing with feelings he didn’t think he still had about Rob.  We’ve seen hints before his holiday that he still cared for Rob and couldn’t move on yet.  Ending up being involved with the birth I think will bring that home more than ever to him which will make it hurt more seeing Rob with his baby boy.
2. Rob will struggle with the birth because of his self loathing and not believing he is deserving of a son and that he will be a horrible father.  It will also hit Rob hard when he sees Aaron at the hospital.  His hatred of himself for what he has done to Aaron will just dial itself up to a new higher level.
3. I don’t think Aaron will pull any punches after Rob tells him everything.  He’ll be shocked, ashamed, mad and very disappointed in Rob.  I think Aaron will be just as determined to not be with Rob after learning all of this as he ever was.
4. Even though Aaron is disappointed and upset with Rob he will still give him the “Be a dad or run away like you always do” speech. It will remind us of Dec 2014 before Andy and Katie’s wedding when Aaron ripped into Rob after hearing him be verbally cruel to Andy, Katie, Vic and Diane.  He told Rob to do one if that was his attitude because he had no interest in a man that treated his family that way.  Rob took in everything Aaron said and immediately apologized to his family. Even though the wedding was still ruined b/c of the ring fiasco Aaron was still pleased with Rob that he made the effort to be better.  Aaron will give a similar speech to Rob this time and he will once again take it in and decide to try to be a good father because that is what Aaron expects of him.
5. We all keep wandering what is the event that gets Aaron onside with Rob again to where he wants to actually physically be in his orbit now.  It might not end up being some big event.  It might be something as small as seeing Rob making an effort at being a dad because if you think about last June/July that is pretty much all Aaron wanted was for Rob to not lie to himself and admit he wants to be a good dad.  If they could have had that talk back then who knows if they would have even broke up???
6. Seeing all of the spoilers that I have seen for November tells me that this story is going from zero to 120 the day of the birth and it won’t be slowing done one bit.  We’ve all been waiting for the birth to get here now it’s full speed ahead.  As fast as it will be going and with everything I’ve read so far I actually don’t think we are going to get a lot of air time of happy family w/Rob and Bex and Seb.  We might see a scene or two but I would be surprised if it is anymore than that.  Because of that I’m not to worried about having to watch much happy fam on the screen.  It will be all fake smile from Rob anyhow when Bex is in the room with him and Seb.
7.  I told a friend today considering how miserable it has been waiting these 8 months to get to where we are now....  Thank God humans don’t have the gestation period of elephants.  Imagine if he had to wait 22 months for the baby Seb’s delivery.  EEK!!
8.  Who picked up on Paddy and Chas today sneeking around and Chas saying she likes the sneeking because she hates when everyone is sticking their nose in her business.  I about spit my coffee when I heard her say that of all people.  But it got me to thinking. Chas goes back to Paddy after she ends it last spring and now doesn’t want anyone knowing about it. Sound familiar to what is probably going to happen with the boys? On top of that with all of the spoilers we are now getting nothing is even hinting that Chas is going to have her nose in Aaron and Rob’s business at least in November.
9. If Rob has properly set up Rug Tree Bonds as a proper company like was hinted on the show by Chrissie then he’s got the 30% of HF fair and square.  The only shares that Rebecca could be demanding Rob return are the 10% that Lawrence gave to Rob.
10. I’ve been getting a real laugh watching Rob attempting to play the “kept boy” of Larry’s and continue to push the romance envelope with him. I saw no one mention the little scene on Thursday when Rob tried to get Larry to go somewhere private with him to open that bottle of wine.  Talk about trying to play the loverboy role right in front of the sisters.  Hysterical.  Then this entire week it has been like Rob has been attached to Larry’s hip.  Milking it for all it’s worth.  With what we know is going to happen on the day of the birth at the hotel it is obvious that Rob has kept working it and Larry is now completely smitten if not in love in Robert.  I will carry this idea on further in another point.
xxxxxxx - At this point everything following is pure speculation and theory and wishful thinking on my part - xxxxxxxx
11. I think a pivotal point in Nov will be the day Aaron reaches out to Bex about Rob seeing his son. I actually believe (and nothing to support my belief) this will be the event that will suddenly solidify Aaron’s thoughts about Rob, Rebecca and Seb.  Their conversation will let AAron realize Rob truly isn’t interested in this woman.  He will realize she is delusional when it comes to Rob.  This will erase that fear that he always had that Rob would eventually leave him for that woman who gives him a child and then set up a perfect proper family which Aaron has always believed he could never do with him as a man.
12. Now for those of you, like me, who are conspiracy theorist, led by Queen Taryn :-) then this could very well be the conversation that gets heated enough between Aaron and Bex that she let’s it slip that Rob isn’t the father. He might even be able to pull out of her that the ONS didn’t happen too.  Now if you tend to be more in the rationale court with Queen Clo then you can just disregard this point all together.  But since I’m a loyalist to Queen Taryn I will continue my theory and suggest that Aaron doesn’t tell Rob right away what Bex has told him.  He will keep it to himself because he hasn’t got his own head around it yet. He also will question if this info will matter or not considering how much has been said and done by each of them over that past months and if they could even come back from all of that even if the ONS and baby didn’t exist.  So he keeps this info to himself for now.....
13. What if Aaron also doesn’t tell Rob about him exposing the whole Lachlan/prostitute thing to Belle which causes her to break up with Lachlan and tips Lachlan into psycho mode.  Rob is a lot more aware of what Lachaln potentially could do so he would be more alert than Aaron is if he knew but he won’t. I think Lachlan will target Aaron to hurt because he told Belle.  At the same time Lachlan wants to hurt Robert but Lachlan soon figures out that the best way to wound Robert is to hurt/kill Aaron so that becomes his plan.
14. With Lachlan’s spying I think he will overhear something from Bex and figure out she’s been playing Rob this whole time which pisses him off because that is what opened the door for Rob to be back at HF.  Not sure though if he will target her or not?  I don’t know.  But, more importantly he’ll overhear a conversation between Larry and Rob that is implying those two are in a sexual relationship or that Larry is wanting to take it there.  This sickens Lachlan and dials up his psycho level to another notch. I think this makes Larry another target for Lachlan when he realizes how much his granddad has been stupid enough to get sucked in by Robert.
15. Robert’s scheming finally is all exposed which shocks Larry as he thinks Robert really does love him.  Bex finds out everything Rob has been doing with her dad and gets sick over it all.  Larry and Rob get into some type of fight. I don’t expect Rob to hurt Larry that much but I wonder if this is an opportunity for Lachlan to finish off Larry and try to frame Rob?  Or not.???  Don’t have much thought about this yet.
16. Also not sure what all Chrissie is doing through all of this stuff.  Haven’t figured out a role for her in it all yet except for standing on the sidelines with her glass of wine shouting out “I told you so” when it comes to Robert.  LOL  But maybe Lachlan does kill Rebecca and Chrissie takes off with the baby.  Doubt it but it would be a fun little thing on the side to me at least.
17. Through it all Robert finds out that Aaron is Lachlan’s next target so he tries to warn Aaron.  He gets to Aaron at the same time as Lachlan is trying to run him over with his new car. (Yes I think there was a point to making sure we knew Lachlan passed his driving test this week and will now be getting that new car he was promised).  Anyway, Rob will try to push Aaron out of the way but they both get hit. Rob seriously hit and Aaron not so much because Rob saved him..... again.
18. Rob will be on death’s door.  Aaron will be banged up put OK.  This is where Chas/Paddy stick there nose in finally at the hospital trying to tell Aaron not to go back just because Rob saved him.  What they don’t know is what Aaron knows about the baby and ONS...  something he hadn’t told Rob about yet.  So now it will be Aaron at the hospital fearing Rob will die not knowing he didn’t cheat on Aaron.  Aaron finally confesses to Chas everything and surprisingly she will understand and accept Aaron’s decisions. Now Rob just has to wake up and get better.
19. Not sure how the whole Xmas show will fit in.  If it is an outlier show or another part of the story.  However it works out, Rob wakes up, Aaron tells him the truth about baby and ONS and his “I never stopped” feelings. Rob will struggle with accepting the baby isn’t his, that Aaron didn’t tell him right away, and even if ONS didn’t happen he probably still isn’t good enough for Aaron and will try to push him away.  How much will Aaron allow him to push before Aaron puts a stop to it? Don’t know.   The Xmas show then could be some kind of dream like thing for Rob now facing up to his past and his behavior.  Andy is the cameo that walks Rob through it all and helps him see that he needs to hang on to AAron and not push him away.
20. Rebecca has left ED with baby but she gets tracked down after first of year and a paternity test is done to confirm Rob isn’t the father but she refuses to say who is. Everyone assumes it is Ross.  Another test is done.  Ross isn’t the father but someone close DNA wise is..  a father, brother or son of Ross’s.  :-)   Of course I’m a champion of the Adam theory.  It’s proven true and Adam leaves ED because of it.  Who cares if he goes to Bex or not.  I don’t.  Aaron will be both devastated and hurt that Adam had been actively involved with Bex and knowingly allowed her to tear apart Rob and their relationship.  Through all of this Aaron will finally figure out that Rob really was the only truly looking out for him while he was in prison.  Everyone else, including his best mate took the opportunity to hurt Rob.
21. As for Aaron and Rob.  Rob will be seriously injured but I’m guessing the miracle workers of Hotten General will have him fully recovered as fast as Rhona was last year.  I would love to see him have a broken leg or something that requires some hospital time and Aaron and Vic fighting to take care of him after he gets out. Whatever happens I counting on the reunion first kiss on New Years either in hospital or at the Mill.  Aaron will also end up being Rob’s caregiver and learns to be there for Rob like he has always been there for Aaron in the past.  An important growth point in their relationship.
22. I don’t think it will take long after the new year for Rob to move back in to the Mill for the simple fact there is no longer a set at the studio for Vic’s Keeper’s Cottage. The Aaron and Rob scenes will have to be at the Mill and while I expect Rob will still live at Keeper’s or B&B for awhile it won’t take long for him to eventually move in...  or maybe move into the other flat for awhile.  That could happen too.  Live in the other flat but still eat meals, watch movies with Aaron and Liv at theirs.
23. Since the wedding isn’t until summer I think it allows them to take their time working through all of their issues properly.  It is a soap so it won’t take forever. I also think there will be other things happening drama wise with them in the spring.  It will be voting season again for the BSA’s and I’m guessing Ryan and Danny will be primary targets for ED to promote for best actor which means they will have some kind of drama in the spring again to make them even more visible to the voters.  It doesn’t have to be angsty drama but something.  This is where I think maybe the baby could come back into play if you don’t believe my theory and believe the baby is Rob’s but Bex had left with it.  I don’t know but something will put a spot light on the boys in the spring during BSA voting season I’m sure.
24.  I still haven’t put my finger on the wide spectrum of stuff we got from Vic in all of this.  She has been from one extreme to another.  But mostly not being there for Rob through most of it.  The spoilers suggest even Bex finally calls her out on her meddling.  I think she will be left out in the cold when Rob is hurt and Aaron won’t have much use for her.  Rob will choose Aaron to care for him over her and she’ll feel the outcast feeling that Rob has felt so often and realize some things about her actions.  Adam will be the final hurt for her.  In the end it will be Rob that reaches out to her.  Old Rob would turn his back and let her suffer.  New Rob will love his sister unconditionally and not turn his back on her.  Lots of people in the village will find themselves apologizing. Rob will finally talk to his family about Jack.  The family will bond again.
25. More than likely most of this will be way off base like most of my speculations are.  I guess I just fall into the category of not thinking they are going to throw a baby into the mix while Rob and Aaron are rebuilding their relationship.  This has always been about Robron and if baby Seb remains in the mix it will no longer be about Robron.  It will be about Robastian with Aaron on the side and that isn’t the story they are telling I don’t think.  The little bit of baby we will get in November will be enough to change a lot of Rob’s perspectives on many things and it will give him enough of a taste of fatherhood to make him now want to be a father.  Aaron will develop strong feelings about it too which will make it an obvious easy story line for the new legally married Dingle-Sugden’s in the last half of 2018 to start the adoption/surragacy process.

A Guide for New Viewers of The Good Fight
Just subscribed to CBS All Access to watch Star Trek: Discovery? Wondering if The Good Fight is worth watching even if you never watched The Good Wife? This guide is for you.
You don’t need to watch The Good Wife (TGW) to enjoy its spinoff, The Good Fight. But it might be helpful to have some background information. That’s where this guide comes in: it’ll catch you up on the premise of TGW, the characters, the relevant plot details, and all the references in each episode of The Good Fight. This guide is meant to be shared and reblogged, and it’s a work in progress, so if anything’s unclear, just send me a message.
The Basics:
The Good Wife premiered on CBS in September 2009 and concluded its run seven seasons later, in May 2016. It aired a total of 156 episodes, all of which are available to stream on Hulu, Amazon, and CBS All Access (I believe they’re on Netflix in some countries– not the U.S.).
The show tells the story of Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies), a stay-at-home mother of two, who goes back to work as a lawyer after her politician husband becomes entangled in a sex scandal. The show is part character-study and part legal procedural, and traces “The Education of Alicia Florrick” (that’s what the writers sometimes like to call the show) as she goes from being an innocent victim to someone powerful enough to be a victimizer.
Okay, so how do the Good Fight characters fit in?
Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) is one of the three name partners at the firm Alicia joins following her husband’s scandal. Diane is at the top of her game, a liberal legend who keeps a framed picture of herself with Hillary Clinton on her desk. In mid-season 1, she falls for Kurt McVeigh (Gary Cole), a ballistics expert who will only testify for the defense when he’s certain the defendant is innocent. He’s also a Republican, as devoted to his conservative ideas as Diane is devoted to her liberal ones. They initially flirt by joking about Sarah Palin’s memoir, date as their paths cross over the years, and marry in season 5, episode 4. Over the course of TGW, as Alicia rises through the ranks at the firm and eventually becomes a partner, Alicia and Diane begin to see each other as friends and peers.
Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) is a new addition to TGW in its seventh season. She starts out as a bar attorney, which means she’s representing arrestees at bail hearings. When Lucca’s introduced, Alicia is attempting to work as a bar attorney (Alicia runs for office, and loses*, in late season six and needs a fresh start). Alicia’s not used to the fast pace of bond court, and Lucca volunteers to help her out. Quickly, Alicia suggests to Lucca that they start their own firm together. After Lucca witnesses Alicia going through an emotional crisis, they become close friends.
*She wins but then a whole convoluted plotline prevents her from taking office; you really don’t need the details.
Marissa Gold (Sarah Steele) is the daughter of another one of TGW’s series regulars. Her tightly-wound and eccentric father, Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), is Alicia’s husband’s campaign manager. (Her mother, Vanessa (Parker Posey) is separated from her father, and shows up briefly in season 3 as an aspiring politician.) Marissa is first introduced in season 2 as Eli’s sarcastic teenage daughter who wants to go live in Israel– which she ends up doing, for a couple of years–, but in season six, she becomes Alicia’s assistant during her campaign. After Alicia’s loss, Marissa goes to work at a juice bar in the mall.
Where does TGW leave off?
Lucca and Alicia’s firm has trouble getting off the ground as the show nears its conclusion. Because they’re in serious financial trouble, Alicia agrees to rejoin her old firm– Diane’s firm– as a junior partner. She insists that Lucca be hired there as well.
Diane senses an opportunity to achieve a life-long dream of an all-female led firm and asks Alicia to be a name partner with her. Alicia agrees. But, as the drama at the firm plays out, Alicia’s husband, who’s now the Governor of Illinois (Marissa’s dad is really good at the campaign management thing, y’all), is criminally charged with intentionally causing a mistrial when he was State’s Attorney, the position he held before he became governor.
Diane agrees to represent Alicia’s husband. Unfortunately for Diane, the case hits a little too close to home: her own husband, Kurt, was an expert witness in the mistrial under investigation, and so Kurt is called as a witness in the criminal case against Alicia’s husband. When it becomes clear the only way for her husband to avoid jail time is to call Kurt’s testimony into question, Alicia hatches a plan. She asks Lucca to suggest, in court, that Kurt’s testimony cannot be trusted because Kurt was sleeping with another ballistics expert, Holly Westfall, a pretty, young blonde. Diane, who already had her doubts about Holly’s relationship with Kurt, is devastated by this public humiliation and betrayal. Alicia’s husband is able to take a very favorable plea bargain.
In the final minutes of The Good Wife, Diane approaches Alicia in an empty hallway and slaps her across the face. This suggests an end to their partnership and recalls the opening minutes of TGW, in which Alicia slaps her cheating husband across the face in an empty hallway.
What else should I know?
The Good Wife and The Good Fight are both created and showrun by a married couple: Robert and Michelle King. They often co-write episodes, and Robert sometimes directs.
Between Wife and Fight, the Kings created and ran a show called BrainDead, a political horror comedy in which space bugs ate the brains of politicians. This is necessary information because it kind of shows who you’re dealing with.
The Good Shows are very interested in technology. Cases about everything from search engine optimization to NSA surveillance to bitcoin are common.
The Good Shows are also very interested in staying current. The Kings have an eerie ability to sense the next news cycle, so episodes always feel timely.
Every episode of season 1 of Wife had a one word title. Every episode of season 2, a two word title. Season 3, three. Season 4, four. Then the titles count down: Season 5, three. Season 6, two. Season 7, one. Fight titles appear to have the same number of words as the episode number until episode six, when the titles begin to count down.
The Good Wife did an excellent job of worldbuilding. Well-drawn, distinctive recurring characters are likely to pop up at any time.
Many of these recurring characters are played by Tony Award winning Broadway stars. But no, there has not been a musical episode.
Wife loves elevators. There are so many elevator scenes.
Maia and the Rindells are never mentioned on Wife, and neither is anyone at Reddick, Boseman & Kolstad (except Julius Cain and Lucca).
In seven years, the show only killed off one character, so Fight isn’t likely to have that sort of drama. And that character death happened only because the actor wanted to leave. And the character was a straight white male. (Spoilers on this below!)
Episode One (Inauguration) Specific References:
Lockhart, Deckler, Lee, etc.: This is not the same firm we last saw in Wife. The later seasons of Wife involved a lot of drama surrounding the name partners, to the point where it got confusing from week to week (yes, week to week) to remember who was a name partner and who wasn’t. The excessively long firm name in Inauguration is both meant to convey that the new firm is top-heavy and as a humorous acknowledgement that it’s time for a clean break from that drama.
David Lee: The head of family law at Diane’s firm for the entire duration of Wife and a name partner at Diane’s firm when Fight begins. He’s only out for himself, which means that sometimes he’s an antagonist and sometimes he’s sucking up to Diane. He is sneaky and sarcastic, but everyone puts up with him because he brings in a ton of business. He’s also known for always having jars filled with candy around his office.
Howard Lyman: A name partner at the firm when Fight begins, Lyman was first introduced as a retired lawyer Diane invited back to the firm when she needed an extra vote of support in a partners’ meeting. Since then, he’s become a bigger and bigger part of the show and a recurring joke (with, in my opinion, diminishing returns). He’s also super racist and sexist. And he ends up marrying Alicia’s mother-in-law, fun fact.
“People I’ve thought with all my heart were guilty turned out to be innocent, and people I thought were saints, they, um, they weren’t.” Diane’s speech to Maia contains a reference to Alicia. Because Alicia was, at least initially, seen as the innocent victim (the “Good Wife” standing by her husband) of her husband’s scandal, the press took to calling her “Saint Alicia.”
Will Gardner: Pictured both in the slideshow at Diane’s retirement party and in a framed photograph on Diane’s desk, Will was Diane’s business partner for the first five seasons of Wife. SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER: He was killed in season five by an unstable client who got ahold of a gun in court.
Brooke Kennedy: The director of the episode. Brooke’s also an Exec Producer, and she’s usually the one on set. She’s directed a bunch of times.
“You’re poison. No firm will hire you.” A variation of this line, said to Diane as she’s looking for a new job, is also said to Alicia, referring to the time she was trying to find a job after her husband’s scandal.
Lucca’s entire speech in the bathroom to Maia: Clearly a reference to Alicia, Lucca gives Maia advice based on what she’s learned from Alicia about surviving public humiliation. Not only does Lucca reference Alicia (though not by name), this speech strongly resembles one Alicia gives in the pilot of Wife when she advises her client on how to make it through trial.
Diane’s framed picture with Hillary Clinton: Mentioned above, this is not something that’s just added in to make Fight feel more timely. That picture has been on Diane’s desk in every single episode dating back to Wife’s pilot, where it’s prominently featured.
Episode Two (First Week) Specific References:
Julius Cain: A longtime partner at Diane’s first firm, Julius randomly disappears for long stretches during Wife only to pop back up as though he’s been there the whole time. Now he’s at RBK.
Marissa’s connections at the mall: Marissa worked at a juice bar in the mall in her last appearance in season seven.
Judge Abernathy: A Wife fan favorite judge. Abernathy is very clearly a liberal (though he strives to make his rulings unbiased). He first appears in Wife 1x02 and appears several times after that. He’s always supporting some new cause– Occupy Wall Street, a blood drive, etc.
Andrea Stevens: An LA based lawyer who showed up for the first time in season 7. She always talks about Lucca’s hair.
Episode Three (The Schtup List) Specific References:
Judge Morris: Another judge who’s been on TGW many times.
Episode Four (Henceforth Known as Property) Specific References:
Mike Kresteva: A character who lies outrageously about everything and gets away with it. But you probably picked up on that.
“One of the partners at my firm, Alicia Florrick, knew [Kresteva]. He made her life hell.” Diane’s description of Kresteva serves two purposes: it introduces him to new viewers and it reminds old viewers about why Diane, who never really interacted with Kresteva, might be so wary of him. Kresteva ran for governor against Alicia’s husband. Kresteva lost, but during the campaign, he routinely made up lies about Alicia’s family, including her teenage son. Kresteva’s first appearance, before he announces his run for office, is as the head of a blue ribbon panel about an incident where a police officer shot an unarmed black man. Kresteva tries to shut down all investigation and sides with the officer, even when Alicia uncovers evidence that the officer was undoubtedly in the wrong. After the panel, Kresteva lies to the public about Alicia’s role in it. In a later episode, during the campaign, his lies get to the point where Alicia realizes it doesn’t matter what she says around him because he’ll lie anyway. She then compares him to Hitler– to his face!– and tells him to “die choking on your own blood.” (Later in the same episode, Alicia’s husband, also fed up with the lies, punches Kresteva in a bathroom at a fancy ball/campaign event. He leaves behind a shattered glass, knowing that anyone who stumbles upon Kresteva will assume he’s had too much to drink (Kresteva is a recovering alcoholic) because that explanation makes more sense than being punched. It’s really satisfying.)
Chumhum: The search engine Diane uses to look up Kresteva’s son. Chumhum was a top client of Diane’s firm for a number of years. It’s like Google and also every other tech company merged into one. Its mascot is Chummie the Gopher. You will be hearing more about Chumhum, and you’ll also see it pop up whenever characters look anything up online.
The process server: They (almost) always have the same guy serve subpoenas.
Alma Hoff: Another lawyer who’s been in a bunch of episodes before.
Judge Stanek: Another recurring judge. He hasn’t appeared since season one of Wife, but he did the trash-can-for-ringing-mobile-devices then too.
Episode Five (Stoppable: Requiem for an Airdate) Specific References:
Judge Glatt: Another recurring judge, and one of the few without a notable quirk.
Neil Gross: The CEO of Chumhum (see episode 4). He is an on-again-off-again client of Diane’s, and, as this episode makes clear, his account brings in a LOT of money for the firm. He has a huge ego, loves to wear hoodies, and cares about justice only up until the point it interferes with his business interests.
Elsbeth Tascioni: If you’ve watched episode 5, then you already know that no words could ever fully describe her. You also probably have a decent sense of who she is and how she thinks. With that in mind, I feel compelled to inform you that everyone’s favorite eccentric lawyer has appeared in many episodes, including season 4's Je Ne Sais What?, for which Carrie Preston (who plays Elsbeth) won the Emmy for performance by a guest actress in a drama series.
Alicia’s advice to hire Elsbeth when you’re in trouble: Elsbeth first appears as Alicia’s husband’s lawyer during his corruption trial in Wife season 1. She does such a good job that Alicia goes to her when she needs representation in season 3, and after that, Elsbeth becomes everyone’s go-to– on Alicia’s glowing recommendation– when there’s legal trouble.
Fantasia: Elsbeth’s assistant. She’s never shown on screen, but she’s always mentioned.
Elsbeth’s recording of Kresteva’s threat: This is not the first time Elsbeth’s saved the day by secretly recording a conversation.
All of Lucca’s talk about her best friend and former coworker who might still be a friend: This is about Alicia. Wife 7x13 is a good episode to watch for more on this, though the Alicia stuff may be very confusing for a new viewer. In that episode, Lucca talks about how she doesn’t have friends but wants to be Alicia’s friend.
Episode Six (Social Media and Its Discontents) Specific References:
Marissa talking about dead bodies: Marissa spent two years in the IDF.
Episode Seven (Not So Grand Jury) Specific References:
AUSA Zschau: An AUSA who’s appeared on the show before, in Wife season 3, episode 7. (Coincidentally, that’s also a fantastic Elsbeth episode.) He’s played by Aaron Tveit, who was a series regular on the Kings' BrainDead.
The Paisley Group: A prominent client from the old firm(s), now in business with Reddick/Boseman/Kolstad.
Episode Eight (Reddick v Boseman) Specific References:
Pastor Jeremiah: A prominent and politically involved pastor who, along with his son, Isaiah, appeared in several episodes of TGW.
The artist whose work is on display at the gallery Lucca and Colin visit: The artist is one of Robert King’s favorites so his work ends up on these shows all the time.
Reddick telling Diane she knows what it’s like to “have a firm that bears your name that lost your mission”: Diane’s old firm became the site of constant power struggles she had to manage, which took time away from her initial goals.
Episode Nine (Self Condemned) Specific References:
Memory Pops: The writers hate flashbacks, so, instead, they do what they call “memory pops.” These are stream-of-consciousness remembrances of people and events, and they sometimes include fantasies and daydreams. They’re unreliable sources of information if you’re looking for the objective truth, but they’re a device the writers use to develop characters. TGW has some stellar episodes with memory pops, including 4x18, 5x10, 5x14, and 6x14 (though that last one is controversial.)
Colin Sweeney: Initially described as “the white O.J.”, Colin Sweeney first appears in season 1 of TGW. He’s creepy and kinky and loves to make others squirm. Originally, he’s accused of killing his wife, but he pops up for various other reasons (sometimes related to business– he’s a successful businessman) as the show goes on and is one of the firms’ top clients. And, he’s fascinated by Alicia, so he always wants to work with her and follows her from firm to firm. He pronounces her name “Alee-see-ah” even though he knows she pronounces it “A-leash-ah.“
Episode Ten (Chaos) Specific References:
Dylan Stack: A tech guy and lawyer who loves to be disruptive. He appeared in a few episodes of Wife, including one about Bitcoin.
The man in the hospital wearing only one shoe: This shot, which may be from Diane’s perspective, recalls the moment Diane realized her business partner, Will Gardner, was dead. After the courtroom shooting (see above), Diane rushed to the hospital. She believed that Will was in surgery, but then learned he was already dead, laying on a stretcher and wearing only one shoe.
