tensions clouded their drive back home. in an attempt to swat away the fog, they mutually agreed to watch a newly released horror movie in the silent hopes of easing their obvious discomfort. kita began to develop the trait of learning to hide his emotions, which would prove beneficial to his volleyball team as it kept the opposing side guessing what course of action he’d take. Though, as they say, opposites attract. Someone could tell how y/n was feeling from miles away due to her expressive body language. nevertheless, as they sat together on the couch, whether or not y/n relished it, the way she leaned in closer to kita's person as his digits danced against her skin, kita had no trouble being able to read her true, undisclosed feelings.

y/n finally turned her head, breaking the session of excruciating silence and giving kita a lustful glare before placing eager kisses on the crook of his neck. despite the shower that he'd taken just minutes prior, the now-faint scent of his cologne still lingered within the pores of his skin, which she so desperately wanted to bury herself in.

i can’t even say i’m surprised; ‘afterworld’ is in itself a weird way of saying a world of the afterlife. they most definitely died. but as strelitzia also said, this is a world full of life. so they still exist. there are many ways to ‘die’ in this series but it’s pretty hard to actually stay dead. as far as we know, true death is when your heart returns to kingdom hearts, but then even then it seems you’ll be reborn.

this is all to say that it is hard, maybe even impossible, to ever truly stop existing in this universe. which is fun. in fact i’d say the closest thing we’ve gotten is in fact this nonsense with quadratum. like they really are Pretty Far Gone in a new type of way if they don’t even exist within our own reality anymore. but even then even if you’re no longer ‘real’ you still exist…within ‘unreality’…? that’s wildly meta. this series is bonkers. it’s such an amazingly cool and creative idea i’m jealous i didn’t come up with it.

so like. i WOULD say oh it’s not a big deal it’s just another place for him to be brought back from. but then apparently it’s hard to go back to where you came from. which is,,,very very concerning,,, it seems like getting there isn’t as hard as we’ve thought (riku can you really just open a portal?? as long as you have the nameless star’s help bc she’s from that reality??? i call hacks). but then leaving is. well we know nameless star came from there into our world somehow. it’s unclear if MoM went there and back and then there again or not. but i get the feeling you probably need some kind of great power to traverse the two sides of reality at will.

(we know MoM talks to young xehanort in our world at some point so he must’ve either time traveled first into the future then went to quadratum? or he went there, came back to talk to yx or whatever, then went back again. either way some time shenanigans have happened here bc he’s still alive and strelitzia is still alive and hasn’t aged. anyway blah blah blah i need to stop derailing my own posts-)

but yeah i am Worried for our boy. and i really hope they don’t downplay how bad this situation is. or how significant it is that he’s on the other side of reality. in absolutely no circumstances do i just want this to be a simple rescue mission for riku or even someone else like kairi that eventually decides to come join him. they gotta make this difficult and be creative with it. like sora might actually be screwed.

i mean i believe there’s always a way to fix things eventually but i can’t help but wonder if being there will have some significant effect on him. like what if he adjusts too well and doesn’t want to come back? he’s convinced he’s a part of this fictional realm now, maybe that he always was a part of it? or…what if…

Man the manga makes it look so fun to be a Nobody!

I really marvel at how they captured the uncanny nature of the enemy Nobodies?? Cos seriously the whole point of them is that they look humanoid but move in really inhuman ways. And each individual enemy type has its own unique mannerisms for this, but in general its like..slugs? I'm pretty sure its slugs?? They stretch and squish and wiggle around and its like pretty much EXACTLY how medicinal leeches move, but thats a very underrated animal so its probably more likely it was slugs or worms. Like 'hey lets exaggerate slugs' but BELIEVE IT OR NOT THAT FATEFUL WIGGLIER SLUG DOES TRULY EXIST. And i love their cutie patoot lil faces. And the world needs to appreciate them more!

...ok im getting offtopic but you get the gist of what i mean. The basic Dusk enemies are vaguely humanoid things with their arms and legs tapering off into sticklike points, and they either wiggle them around like leech heads or hold their arms behind them naruto run style and use their entire body as a leech! Like its more likely that they pick up stuff by wrapping around it like a snake, rather than just using hands?? And also they can fly and stick to ceilings and just generally have loads of fun?? And look really pretty?? And some of the other more complex nobodies look even cooler doing their weird wiggle flying. Like the Assassin type have these weird big metal petal shapes on their arms that flutter like feathers and make them look like winged snakes crossed with.. Kites...? Kites made of kimonos? Being worn by a man with no face..?

And aaa the Days manga has a REALLY good panel showing a big swarm of them in flight and it just looks SO MAGICAL AND SPOOKY! this is the exact kind of Aesthetically Nutso Ghost Monster Person i wish i could be! The manga is so cool at iimplying the same sense of inhuman motion by drawing them like motion tweens? Like theyre warped into wildly different body shapes in every panel and its just SO CREEPY and SO BADASS and SOMETIMES KINDA MAJESTIC AND ENDEARING EVEN! And this big flight scene has EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL ONE drawn with its own different pose and mannerisms and like man every one of these weird squiggle flights looks like a world of fun to do!! God i love when superpowers actually look FUN, yo! It fuckin sucks that theyre just low level enemies and not ever playable. The only Nobodies that are playable or even get a big amount of screentime in cutscenes are the ones that ACTUALLY look humanoid and also move humanoid and BOOOO have zero traits of the monster theyre supposed to be. Like man just give me a whole game playing a lil bebby Nobody flying around! They remind me of the wanderers in Journey, they'd be so well suited to a chilled out exploration game like that.

And AAAAAA i get so sad thinking about how they're like bebbys!!! Noooo! Why do we not have more sympathy for them?? Like the particular way they write their 'bumbling weak enemy' scenes just comes off more like..well..sad thoughts about what happens when you lose your heart. Cos i mean the series really doesnt dwell much on the implications of the fact every single one of them used to be human! And whenever they're not being given orders by the higher ups in the organization, theyre just shown wiggling around flying in circles for fun, like a shoal of fish. They're so inhuman now, aside from vague resembelance in their appearances. They'd be seen as the cute wpodland critters in a disney princess musical number if they werent designated as monsters! Like they're not just 'dumb', they friggin dont remember how to talk anymore. And in their most memorable scene they dont understand the order "find this person" and can be easily tricked by photos of him. "Yes boss here is roxas he's a little more flatter than usual but here he is!" And they just keep gathering hundreds of the same person and never once cotton on to anything being wrong. Its so cute and also scary?? Cos seriously they are such eldritch monstrosities of fragmented soul that they move on to STEALING THE WORD PHOTOGRAPH. Just plucking it right out of the language! Failing so hard that you warp the laws of reality! I feel sorry for the poor lil guys, you definately cant say they didnt try as hard as possible!

AND SERIOUSLY THATS ALSO A COMMON TRAIT IN THE MANGA

I'm just so happy that they gave a bit more sympathy to the low level enemies because seriously WHO GIVES SUCH A GOOD DESIGN TO A LOW LEVEL ENEMY AND THEN BARELY EVER USES THEM FOR ANY SCENES

They actually give some sorts of pseudo dialogue to them?? Like during the kh2 prologue they show roxas being able to psychically perceive their thoughts while theyre trying to kidnap him. And its just so sympathetic and sad in retrospect?? They did a great job amplifying everything about this sequence because they made the Nobodies look so much scarier, made Roxas's life with his friends look even more heartwarming, and made it all super tense so you overlook all these little hints and just cheer for roxas in defeating these guys. But they left so many things that actually foreshadow that Roxas is a Nobody too, so reading this a second time is so sadddddd. I almost wish this was the first time i experienced the story, i think it does basically everything better than the original game version. Like seriously THAT ONE LINE OF WHAT THE WEAK ENEMIES ARE THINKING! "We've found you, my leige". THEY WERE JUST TRYING TO SAVE THEIR BOSS AND DIDNT KNOW WHY HE DIDNT RECOGNISE THEM. AND THEN HE ATTACKS THEM AND THEY DONT KNOW WHY!! aaa theyre just BABIES god theyre just ghost demon thingies that are like the larval stage compared to the main character versions. They dont remember who they were as humans, they just know they love their boss!! and he's apparantly been kidnapped by scary humans!! THEY WERE TRYING SO HARD TO SAVE HIM!! they got so damn close to taking over the town and they were swarming everywhere searching for him and Axel was trying so hard too and Diz just kept interrupting him before he cpuld explain or lying to roxas to manipulate them against each other! And axel even brought cake and icecream with him!! He was just trying to rescue his lil bro!!! Auuuugh seriously it was such a good twist that the Scary Monster Dudes were objectively in the right throughout this entire intro, and they just wanted to save Roxas's goddamn life. And he didnt even get to remember his peaceful days as a family with his fellow monster boyos until like five seconds before dying :(

Did anyone else just.. Not want to play kingdom hearts 2 after the prologue?

Like i couldnt stand the mood whiplash of going back to happy go lucky disney worlds with sora and having no more deep sad intriguing plot points for like ten hours of gameplay. And i could never take Organization 13 seriously as villains when the entire damn prologue was them being SUPER FUCKING SYMPATHETIC and the 'good guy' trying to murder a child in order to bring sora back. Like why am i supposed to be happy that he succeeded when i know sora himself would say no if he was told what sacrifice had to happen to bring him back? I would have been way more interested in this sequel having me play as roxas and try and take on the legacy of sora as the next hero and try and find a way to bring sora back without anyone having to die. Like the whole story could be people being all 'blah blah youre worthless youre not human your only purpose is to die for the sacrifice' and we explore all different sorts of 'heroes' doing horrible acts and justifying it to themselves because some people are just 'born evil' and its okay to do whatever you want to them. And Roxas is always struggling with almost believing that shit about himself, but in the end he does succeed to find a happy ending for everyone without a need for 'sacrifices'. And he learns to have self confidence and form his own identity and have more friendship scenes with Axel and co and also redeem all the other Nobodies please and also hug the tiny enemy childrens ones. I just did not feel much for the plot of kh2 at all except for the Nobodies!! Its just not sympathetic to have your 'heroes' arguing that 'oh they dont have hearts theyre not human they dont feel anything so theyre all evil and its all fine'. The game acts like this is true despite giving sympathetic backstories to half of them and the other half all die crying that they want to live!! What the fuck!! Like the only consolation is that they clearly cottoned on to the Org being RIDICULOUSLY POPULAR and later games literally bring all the most fan-loved ones back from the dead and add EVEN MORE sympathetic backstories and also here have a bigger villain who was really responsible and also he lied to them and theyre NOT really empty hearted and incapable of love. THEY ARE CONSTANTLY SHOWN HAVING THAT, EVEN THE WEAK LIL ENEMY DUDES HAVE ALL THAT LOYALTY TO ROXAS AAAAGH THEY DIED IN DROVES TRYING IN VAIN TO SAVE HIMMMMM

And god theyre so cute and so well designed and so sad and im sorry but AGGHHHH

A Very Disturbing New Years FF (Kpop)

I hear a loud knock on the door and jumped up.

“Ugh. Can’t they knock quieter? I’m taking a nap,” I say sitting up, going out of my room and into the living room, opening the door and groaned, “Go away!”

I slam the door right in their faces until Minho opens it back up, “How welcoming.”

“That’s why Areum usually opens the door,” I walk to her room straight-faced, still in my pajamas and see her putting makeup on, “They’re here.”

She smiles and jumps up, “YAYYYYYYY” and ran into the living room.

I walk back in there and scratch my head, “why are you here so early?”

“It’s 9,” Kibum says, “We came at a normal time.”

“And where the hell is Sehun?”

Jonghyun said, “He’s coming later. He’ll be here in around 30 minutes.” “He’s the only person I was excited to see, “I sigh and go to the couch and lay down, “Shut up and let me sleep.”

Jinki runs into the kitchen and opens the fridge, “CHICKENNNNNNNNNNNNN”

“I said to shut up.”

“So mean,” Taemin laughs.

I glare at him, “shut. Up.”

Areum jumps up on Minho’s back and shouts, “TAKE ME AWAYYYYYY”

I get up and go to the kitchen and grab my pan. I run after them, but Minho is way too fast and wouldn’t let me hit her, which made much just want to hit him.

“Get your ass over here,” I shout.

A door opens and I turn my head to it and drop the pan, “Sehun!”

I run up to him and jump in his arms, “I missed youuuuuu”

He smiles, “I missed you too,” he looks at me from head to toe, “Why are you still in your pajamas?”

“I didn’t have anywhere to go so what’s the point?”

Minho comes over and chuckles, “Nobody would want to see her in a dress anyway.”

I jump out of Sehun’s arms and pick up my pan and start chasing him again, “Get back here you fuckin asshole!”

A pair of arms then picked me up and took the pan out of my hands, “calm down.”

He sets me down and I turn around and see who it is, “TAEMIN WHAT THE FUCK?! DON’T TOUCH ME LIKE THAT! I probably have aids now.”

“I don’t have aids!” he shouts

“I’m sure that’s true.”

“Stop flirting and just give us some food,” Kibum says, “I’m hungry.”

“Me tooooooo,” Areum whines.

“Nobody asked you,” I respond, “Starve.”

“Stop being so mean to meeeeee.”

“You should be used to it.”

“I don’t want to be used to it. It’s not nice!”

I roll my eyes, “I don’t care.”

I go into the kitchen and take out my cauliflower and sour cream and go to the table and eat it, “I thought you guys were hungry. Go eat something.”

“GO EAT A DICK!” Areum shouts.

“Nah, I’m good.”

Taemin mumbles, “eat my dick.”

I cringe, “ew no… That’s nasty. I don’t want bumps in my throat anyway.”

“Hey, I was kidding!”

“Sure.”

Kibum sits down, “He probably does have herpes or something.”

Jonghyun sits next to him and leans on the table, “as long as he doesn’t spread them to anyone I don’t have a problem.”

“What if I have aids?”

“Then go get an std test I don’t want any in my asshole.”

“I don’t actually have any aids.”

Areum shouts, “You probably do!”

Jinki covers his ears, “Stop! The Easter bunny won’t give you any candy if you talk like that!”

“I WANT CANDY!”

“THEN BE GOOD!”

“I AM GOOD!”

“NO, YOU’RE NOT!”

“YES I AM!”

I shout, “Shut up! You kids are giving me a headache.”

Sehun whispers to me, “shouldn’t Jinki go to the hospital.”

“Probably too late for that now. He got hit by it 10 years ago.”

“Fun times.”

Jinki shouts, “It hurt like a bi- AHHHHHH A BRAT!”

“Aww is Jinki not getting his easter candy?”

“I HAVE A CONFESSION!”

“What?”

“I PEED ON THE EASTER BUNNY LAST YEAR!” he shouts, “It feels so good to finally tell someone.”

Everyone at the table judged him.

Taemin looks at me from across the table, “your eyes are so expressive and beautiful.”

A blush creeps on my cheeks, “w-what?”

He smiles, “I didn’t say anything.”

“Stop flirting with my sister,” he nudges him.

Jonghyun says, “well you don’t seem to have a problem flirting with my sister.”

Kibum rubs his chest, “calm down baby.”

“Fine,” he sighs.

Sehun leans over a bit and smiles, “see, he probably likes you too.”

I punch his shoulder, “shut up!”

I stand up and put my food away, “I’m done.”

Everyone stands up and goes into the living room and sits on the floor.

Areum says, “Who’s bored?”

Kibum says, “Everyone.”

“How about a game of 7 minutes in heaven?”

Minho looks at her and goes, “What? You’re going to have sex with someone else?”

Jonghyun looks at him and glares, “What?”

“I mean… nothing,” he smiles.

“We’re not dating anyway,” Areum says, “Just friends with benefits. I’ll call some girls over so we can have more people for the straight guys. If it is the gender you don’t have an interest or you’re related in you can just spin again.”

She took her phone out and called the neighbors and soon a knock came on the door and it opened.

“Irene, Wendy, and Yeri! Come in!”

“Why did you want us to come over?” Irene asks.

“7 minutes in heaven!”

Wendy says, “You need to get me drunk first. Where the soju?”

She told her where it was and she brought 2 bottles and shot glasses for everyone.

After we all got drunk, we all started playing spin the bottle with a now empty bottle of soju.

Areum leaned her head against Minho and started laughing hysterically.

“Chillllllll,” I say in a drunk voice, “someone spinnnnn”

Areum stands up and starts spinning, “I’m spinninggggg.” “I WANNA SPIN TOO!” Jinki gets up and starts spinning with her until they both fall and laugh a lot.

Wendy raises her and says, “I will spin the bottle.”

She leans over and spins it and lands on Minho. They stand up and go into one of the rooms and begin their 7 minutes.

Areum starts sobbing, “SHE TOOK MY B-BOYFRIEND!”

“I thought you weren’t dating,” Jonghyun says.

“BUT I LOVE HIMMMMM,” she sobs harder and curls in a ball.

Irene goes to her and pats her back, “Areum it’ll be ok. Just have a good cry.” She starts crying with her.

“You guys are being so emotional,” I say, “Also, you’re the one who recommended this game.”

“I knowwwww,” Areum whines, wiping her tears and sits up, “I’m ok now.”

“You’re too drunk…”

Minho and Wendy come back with their clothes messed up and sit down.

I raised my hand, “I go now.”

I spun the bottle and landed on Taemin and smiled, “come on let’s do it”

He stands up and while leaving Minho shouts, “If you give my sister aids I‘ll chop your dick off.”

We got into my room and we sat on the bed and started making out. He put his hand up my shirt, ready to unhook my bra, but I stopped him, “w-wait.”

“Hmm?”

“I need to confess something. I’m a virgin and I don’t feel right losing my virginity like this.

“Honestly, I’m a virgin too.”

“What? You are?”

He nods, “But I’m embarrassed by it.”

6“So do you just want to make out?”

He attaches his lips to mine and moves down to my neck and sucks on my sensitive skin. A soft moan escapes my mouth and I run my fingers through his soft hair.

Areum comes and knocks on the door, “YOUR 7 MINUTES ARE UP! GET YOUR ASSES IN HERE!”

He didn’t listen and kept leaving hickeys on my neck.

“Don’t you t-think we should go b-back?” I stutter out.

He puts his lips back on mine and we start backing up and going into the living room.

“Ooooh Seulgi’s getting some,” Areum says.

We sit back down, still making out.

Minho clears his throat, “I think it’s Areum’s turn.”

We detach our lips and Areum goes to the bottle and spins it, landing on Kibum.

“EWWWWWWWWWWWWIE,” she shouts, “I DON’T WANT TO!”

Kibum says, “It’s the game. We have to.”

She sighs and stands up, “okay…”

They go into the room and finish their 7 minutes.

After playing 7 minutes and heaven and drinking 2 more bottles of soju we were tired so we all went into the rooms and Irene, Yeri, and Wendy went home.

(My room: Taemin, Kibum, and Sehun; Areums room: Jonghyun, Minho, and Jinki)

At 11 pm we all woke back up so we could celebrate the new year at 12 and we sobered up some. We went into the living room and drank a bit more because it’s new years. We watched some fireworks and at 12 watched the countdown on the tv.

“5,” the tv started counting, “4,” it continued, “3, 2, 1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!”

Areum started making out with Minho. Taemin and I looked at each other and started making out again. Kibum and Jonghyun did too and I did overhear a special conversation that Sehun had with Jinki.

Sehun sighs, “I’m so lonely.”

“Me too,” Jinki whines.

“Are you at least a little gay?”

He shakes his head, “But I don’t mind trying something out.”

Sehun and Jinki started making out with each other and Jinki sat in his lap.

The next morning we all woke up in our rooms. I had no memory from last night and I was the last one sleeping so no one else was in the room.

I got off my bed and went into the hall and saw everyone sitting at the kitchen table. I saw Taemin and remembered everything. I put the hood of my onesie on and hid my face.

“What the fuck did I do?” I think to myself.

Sehun looks at me with a smile, “Oooooh Seulgi come here!”

Jinki rubs his head and pouts, “My head hurts.”

Minho slaps him in the back of his head, “That’s why you shouldn’t drink so much.”

“But he becomes more normal when he does,” I say.

“I’m scarred for life,” Areum says, “I had sex with Kibum.”

“Well, I had sex with Wendy,” Minho says, “Let’s just keep having sex with each other.”

Areum jumped up on him and they started making out then moved to her room.

“I’m too hungover to care,” Jonghyun says, looking depressed.

Kibum rubs his back, “I’ll get you some hangover soup.”

And that’s how everything got awkward.

Woah hol up, I’m not done....

This is gonna seem weird again, but i’m just thinking about something. I’m getting a weird vibe that all these random little things in my life rn are connected.

Its weird, I was writing about Teotfw, and decided to watch it again before i do the full thing, but first i needed to go through the “it inspires me like dead poets list” for some references. And I saw bij, and of course i mentioned it. I think that planted a little seed, because I decided to listen to the whole album, and then??? I got all these crazy feels for bij and wrote my last 2 posts.

And its just so weird for me to feel so strongly about bij right now, and have all this affection after the whole Babe thing?? I get it theyre not the same person but why would my dream love interest take the form of Ryan Beatty that doesnt make sense to me.

Then, a few nights ago, i start feeling sad about King. And Even the prince too, but i went on this whole rant to myself on how much i still love him. And i checked up on him for the first time in a while. AND THEN THE NEXT FUCKING DAY KING GETS SAPPY ABOUT HIS GF ON IG??? I was super pissed, i felt punched in the throat, how the hell was that fair? Such evil timing and really inconsiderate for me.

The I start Teotfw, and it was like this weird antidote for being in my bag about king, it was before i even fell in love with it but it reversed my gooey king feeling, and i was thankful, and that was refreshing so i kept watching??

Now before all that Kurtis Conner posted a new “internets cringiest dating show” and i fell in love with Dean and i’m watching all the episodes again blah blah blah. Inevitably, i’m recommended more Kurtis then usual and i started watching a bit more of his videos.

THEN SOMEHOW, i stumble upon the picture on instagram where Kurtis Conner and his girlfriend jenna dress up as james and alyssa from The End Of The Fucking World. (I was at midseason of me watching the show). Anyway, i thought it super cute, they pulled off the outfit really well, and now that i thought of it. They reminded me so much of james and alyssa.

So after that, when i’d watch teotfw, when i saw james now he reminded me of kurtis and i loved it like awww. Like Kurtis i love himmmmm. And this was at the point of the season where james becomes likable so the timing was perfect. I fell in love with james and now i wanted to dive deep into jenna and kurtis

So i did....which was adorable. They remind me so much of james and alyssa and THEN during a video, the only real video they have together on his channel, when asked how they met, they said a mutual friend BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER, and they met for the FIRST TIME at a fucking ONE DIRECTION CONCERT. The way Kurtis talked about the beginnng stages of their relationship EERILY resembles the way i recounted my dream. He talked about the way they became bestfriends, and how he felt so WARM and LUCKY to have met her and be close with her. He even said they both knew they were dating for a while before they said it out loud...........MAKE IT MAKE SENSE I’M SPEECHLESS.

I finish teotfw and i loved it??? it helped me get over king, and i listen to bij and euro reminds me of james and alyssas story which is also kurtis and jenna, who met at a one direction concert, then i get emotional about bij, which is ryan beatty which also babe.

Okay yea truly i don’t know how to make it make sense yet, but its super fucking weird and theres like this chain of actions from me that all led to here and i dont know what it means but stuff like this just doesnt happen to me on accident. I know i’m annoying but i’m serious. My dreams are important my life is connected, the proof is in the pudding.

Whatever it is i’m gonna figure it out, goddamn its almost 6am
