Long post time!

I haven't done one of these in a while I came running back from Exile for this but lets goooo

So there’s two versions of this I suppose. One for what the animatronics would do for their birthdays and one for what they do for others birthdays since that’s literally their job.

Having a birthday party at Freddy’s is probably like…

Well for Freddy, you’d be having a Fazerblast birthday. There’s no way that’s not a blast. He probably sets it up so whoever’s birthday it is, is the captain of one team while he is the captain of the other. He acts the part of the alien invaders really well and if he can, he gives the gift of a book about space or of a rocket ship toy or something. Of course, he has the added quirk of being able to put things in his stomach hatch so that’s where he hides the gift and later on, the space themed birthday cake. There’s probably a whole thing where he’ll get the others involved in the game or something too if the teams aren’t even or if they just don’t have a lot to do that day. He’s not great at keeping kids or teens under control if they’re particularly rebellious at these events but he’s very good at getting their attention and redirecting it onto the game or the rules or whatever. He loves making up the party bags for after the party too. He likes to sneak extra space toys in there whenever he can and he’s slowly wearing management down on getting him some birthday cake candles shaped like the planets, the sun and the moon so he can make a solar system on every child’s birthday cake. So far, he’s managed to get rocket shaped candles out of them but he’s getting there.

Chica’s parties have a bit more range to them. For kids, it’s a bunch of games based on the mazercise machine, dancing and general party games. As the age goes up though, you get more fitness based and team based games. Games where you’re competing to be the fastest, the strongest, the smartest or the most agile for example. You would also be able to have small number parties where you can cook with Chica for most ages. Kids would get easy to bake cakes, cupcakes and cookies – all things you can spend forever decorating – and for teens you could probably choose from a bigger range of things. So like, you could cook your birthday meal or a more complex cake or something. Those are generally more the quiet birthdays and she loves them but they can be a bit slow for her liking. She gets to form one on one or one on three friendships with all of those kids and that’s really valuable to someone like her. Anyway, her parties have the best food and she’s constantly getting in trouble for sneaking extra sweets into the party bags. Her themed birthday cake is a giant Carl the Cupcake with a candle of the age of whoever’s birthday it is but if requested, it can be a simpler cake with a picture of her face on it.

Monty’s parties are either pretty chill or absolutely insane there’s never an in between. Mini golf is a chill game but the kids get bored waiting for their turns so he always has a game going in the background and that game can be basically anything. He sometimes gets the kids to basically do his job for him too. He pretends he’s hidden a bunch of golf balls around the place and the more they find, the more food, sweets or games they’ll get. Works basically every time. He gives out prizes for the most golf balls found and the prize is whatever he can steal from the gift shop. The golf with teens is usually pretty chill. They sometimes end up shit talking the adults wandering around the course and he shows them how to do trickshots. He’s more than happy to wait around on one hole while they perfect these shots because he’ll see them again another time with different people or their parents and gets to see them show off. He’s great at boosting confidence with these things and the little kids love climbing all over him while they wait for shots to be taken. His cakes are always shaped like a dinosaur and depending on how the party goers have been with him, depends on whether they get relighting candles on the cake or not. He’s always up for the others joining them if they’re bored or asked for but he will not let them beat him.

Roxy’s parties are often a little less involved. She’s pretty good at making sure people pay attention to her rules and she will stop anyone and everyone that knowingly breaks safety rules from racing. She’s very attentive at the parties. If anyone has a question? She answers. If that’s not a good enough answer? She’ll gladly go in depth about it, but will do so whilst she makes sure other things are getting done. Her parties are the ones that typically run over the allotted time. This is because she’s a sucker for letting everyone have a few extra laps and is easy to convince to show party-goers how the go-karts work in varying detail. She gives racing tips and can and will enthuse about the karts and racing stuff if given any shred of opportunity. Despite it being a birthday party, she still almost always wins. She lets a few of the younger, more nervous kids win sometimes to try and help their confidence but she’s an expert in riling kids up to come back and try again. Each time they do, she’s always so happy about it and has to try so damn hard not to let that show too much. She puts photos of the races in every party bag with a little message written on the back with the date, their best lap time and an encouraging message with an autograph on it. This is pretty time consuming and difficult to keep up with when it comes to bigger parties but she’s always determined to do it for everyone. Her themed cakes have more range since she has probably the biggest range of ages in the Raceways – basically every age that can legally drive a kart – with cakes shaped like her face, cakes with just a picture on it, and more stylised or generally non-Fazbear themed cakes. She also has joke candles for when the birthday person is a pain, keeps breaking her rules or is an ass to anyone else on her track.

Sunny and Moon have very similarly held parties. It’s typically a small celebration, cost effective for parents that can only just afford to get their kids into the daycare regularly and is very fun. They play whatever games the kid wants, make their favourite snacks at snack times, read their favourite stories and sing their favourite lullabies at nap time and when possible, they bring down as many of the other animatronics as they can. They both spend as much time as possible decorating the daycare for when the kids arrive in the morning and Moon is often stealing things from the gift shops and getting the others to help steal things in order to help make the day special. Guardians don’t even need to book it unless they want to make sure they get visits from the other animatronics or a specific cake or theme or anything. Sunny and Moon just set these things up for every child that comes through the doors and they do their absolute best for them. Fazbear Ent doesn’t allow them to do this when they aren’t paid for so it’s very much like a secret operation. As a result, the party bags are always a little inconsistent and the cake is always just whatever they can get their hands on. When they do get a party booked? Their cake is themed half like Sunny’s face and half like Moon’s, is a really pretty, swirly gradient between night and day, has all the animatronics on it or is one the other animatronic’s cakes. They get to steal party bag supplies much easier when they also have an actual set of them to make up too so that’s always a bonus. These two basically pull out all the stops they possibly can, even if they’re not supposed to.

DJ Music Man’s parties are of course, dance parties. You get every genre ever coming from him and he loves getting people to do the conga and other such dancing games like musical statues and stuff. He puts on things like the Macarena and he joins in the dances with everyone. He lifts kids up to the ceiling and cheers them on with music and clapping when they play the arcade games. He hosts dancing and karaoke contests at these parties and will often get one of the other animatronics to come down and either participate or act as a second judge. He has trouble trying to fill the tiny party bags up with stuff so he gets whoever’s free to help him with them and when it comes time for the food, he disappears into the tunnels for a moment and returns with all the tables in chairs in his hands. He sets them up remarkably fast and kids and teens are either scared of this guys’ powers or in awe. His favourite parties are when there’s a kid that knows sign language there. They’re just on opposite ends of the club, chatting away as if the room isn’t full of dancers and loud music. He also loves playing pass the parcel and always passes it to each of his hands – yes all six of them – before passing it onto the next person. His parties are high energy and full of fun and his cakes are of his face, of a cluster of music notes, designed after a vinyl record or a picture of him on it. He gets the mini Music Men to keep an eye out too. Their job is to make sure no one is lonely or sad during the party and if they are, to bring them back into it. He hosts a lot of parties outside of these too. The animatronics have a weekly club night with him and they have a lot of fun. He’s always so sad when the parties end, animatronic parties or otherwise. They’re just so fun and make him so happy that the time flies so very fast.

Now, in terms of what they would all do for their own birthdays if they had them? Well, their activation days would be their closest thing here unless you put them in an AU where they’d have been born a bit more naturally. The company would definitely make annual events out of them and I’ve talked about specific character events before so I’ll just focus on what they would be doing outside of what the company has them doing.

For Freddy’s birthday, they blindfold him and take him up to the roof they had to basically break down the door to so they can all stargaze with him. They set him off on rambles and ask as many questions as they can because they know how much it makes him happy. They try and get or make him gifts of anything to do with space. One year, Monty made him a little embroidery thing of a planet that reads something corny like “You’re Out Of This World!” or some other space pun and he absolutely adores it. Another year, Roxy built him one of those models of the solar systems with scrap she stole found from parts and service. Chica and Sunny work really hard on the decorations every year and Moon is always the one finding some weird or obscure gift for him that no one is entirely sure the origins of. After stargazing, they all head over to DJ Music Man’s club for a dance and karaoke party and spend the rest of the night in there having a blast. If they have time? They go a few rounds at Fazerblast too or at any of the other attractions he wants to. He has a great time but his favourite part is the stargazing with everyone.

For Chica’s birthday they bust out every game in the book. They play board games, arcade games, party games, music games, whatever they can get away with. It’s one giant game night party and she loves every second of it. Her favourite is playing Twister with everyone because it forces all of these disaster gays to get super close to each other and it amuses her to no end, even if it also works against her. Sure, she doesn’t win all of the games but they all have so much fun and that’s the main thing. She’s almost constantly singing or humming with joy and taking a dragon’s hoard of photos. She may or may not love causing wars with plus fours in Uno and by being as chaotic as possible in Monopoly. Once she convinces everyone to start betting on things halfway through the night, it really gets wild. You lose the bet, you have to do a dare and with every birthday it gets harder and harder to convince everyone to join in with that. If she can eat? They spend some time raiding every food place in the Plex for a feast fit for a king. In terms of gifts everyone gets for her? They try and wrangle her books on fairytales, accessories, or tools to commit pranks with. One year, Roxy and Monty with the help of the others built her a really simple Carl the Cupcake. Roxy built the actual thing and Monty programmed it to tell cake and chicken puns that Freddy and Sunny came up with when you asked it for a joke. Moon help steal the parts for it and DJ Music Man recorded a bunch of Carl themed music for it to play if requested. It was a team effort and they’ve never even attempted to top it, she loves it so much and shows it off whenever she possibly can.

For Monty’s birthday, they turn the entire auditorium into a battle arena. They have the biggest fight nights ever on his birthday and afterwards, they play Fazerblast, hit the arcades, set up some pranks on the staff and then chill out with a game of mini golf. The order changes every year and there’s never a moments rest between anything. If he can eat, he’s making drinks that can melt his metal insides and challenging everyone to drink it. One of the parts of fight night is ‘How Many Staffbots Can You Destroy?’ and he gets to go absolutely ham with it. He has a game with Chica where they try and destroy a bot in the most unhinged way possible and one year, Moon beat both of them without even competing. In terms of gifts, he is the hardest to get things for. They literally never know what to get him, ever. His gifts are usually just whatever they can think of that he likes, which means he’s got a bunch of spools of threads, wool, weird golf balls, goofy hats, toy dinosaurs, plushie sheep, whatever. He loves them every time and is notorious for attempting to sneak a look at his presents early. Freddy managed to get him a handheld games console once and he was absolutely ecstatic.

For Roxy’s birthday, I think she’d try and be really subtle about trying to find out what they’ve got her. She can see through walls, sure, but where’s the fun in that? She’s too proud to cheat like that! They typically get her funny looking lighters for her ever growing collection, parts for her go-karts, extra tools, spray paints, car magazines, toy cars, basically anything relating to her special interest. Chica and Moon managed to get her a remote control monster truck once and she lost her mind, she thought it was the coolest thing ever and about a month later, she’d figured out how it worked and built two more so they could race them together. For the celebration, they of course go racing. They race for a while, then hit the arcades – where they basically only end up playing the games she likes so she wins basically every game – and then go to DJ Music Man’s club for a dance party. They make bets with her they know they can’t win because winning makes her so damn happy. It’s basically the number one rule to not ever let her tail stop wagging the entire night. One year, her tail stopped wagging because she zoned out thinking about something and they tackled her in a hug so hard she’s genuinely so surprised she didn’t break something. They play some team games in Fazerblast too and they end the night with a very happy Roxy getting her hair braided by the others. If she can eat, there is a feast while this is happening and Freddy gives her home made ice cream basically every year. If she doesn’t get cake on her birthday she’d be so upsetti spaghetti and there’ve been some very last minute cake arrangements done when they haven’t been able to smuggle one into a greenroom or had the time to bake one on time.

Sunny and Moon share a birthday that they split into two nights to make sure they both get an equal amount of time to celebrate. Sunny’s is first and is similar to Chica’s. Party games all night! Moon breaks him out of the daycare and they get to go ham. Party games, music games, ‘who can sing the worst’ contests, and so, so many arcade games. He doesn’t get out much so when he does he is rushing around so darn fast and having so much fun doing it. For gifts, they typically get him craft supplies, unique photo albums they found, decorations for his room and jingly bracelets. If they can eat, they get their absolute favourite food made specially for them and they get to help everyone cook their meal for the night. One year, they really did drink so much Fizzy Faz it took Roxy four hours to repair him. He had a blast, but he’s since sword off Fizzy Faz and sticks to the slushies. He doesn’t sit still for a single moment all night he’s so excited and having a blast. Sunny is also the brain behind the Plex wide game of capture the flag with Mapbot as the flag and everyone loves that game.

Moon’s birthday is much more chill. Like Freddy, they take him onto the roof to stargaze and they really love to just talk and catch up with everyone. They walk and goof around the whole Plex and play some board games. It’s generally a quiet night until they feel they’ve had enough and is like “alright. What Fazcrime are we committing this year?” and they set up so many pranks for the staff the next day. They play some golf, maybe some Fazerblast or some arcade games or even a race if they feel like it but they mostly just wanna hang out and cause problems on purpose with his besties. In terms of gifts, they have a large collection of music boxes so someone always manages to get him one from somewhere, he gets horror, thriller and romance books, comic books, decorations for their room, little jars and containers for whatever random thing they find next and one year they got them a cloak so they can stand in the rafters and dramatically look down upon them all like some vigilante stranger street hero or something. They won’t admit it, but that’s their favourite gift and they love the dramatic nature of it. If they can eat, they get their favourite food made up for them and they raid the food places for a proper midnight feast.

DJ Music Man’s birthday is of course, a dance party. He can’t exactly leave the West Arcade so he doesn’t have a lot of options. Still! They have fun! They sing and dance with him and play games like Red Light Green Light, and musical statues and whatever. They also play a game where they’re blindfolded and put in a random place within DJ’s tunnels and they have to find the way out – to a place where they can climb out of the tunnels and not just fall to their doom – before DJ catches them. DJ takes great pride in being able to find and catch them so he’s really tough to beat. They have a stand-up comedy contest where they give each other a prompt and they have to be as funny as possible with what they’re given. There’s also a game where they have to improvise lyrics to a song based on a theme and they all have a blast with it. If DJ can eat, he gets a feast of every single food item ever. For gifts, everyone mainly makes things for him unless there’s something specific he wants which there usually isn’t. They’ve built him more hats, a giant plushie, giant sunglasses and jewellery before. He loves everything they make for him and he’s always so touched when they put so much effort into something for him. One year, they all teamed up to make him a giant poster of everyone with him that he could hang wherever he wanted and it’s one of his favourite things ever.

On their first valentine’s together, Axel gets Saix so many things. Like one of every box of chocolate he sees. At least one of each kind of flower too. His arms are full with all the stuff he buys. Saix is grateful, but isn't sure what to even do with it all since sweets aren’t exactly his thing. (With Axel's permission he keeps his favorite and lets Roxas and Xion and their friend have the rest.)

On the other hand, Saix gets him one (1) stuffed lion with a fiery red mane that caught his eye and Axel cries over it for hours. He just can't help himself.
