Personal post incoming.

I’ve been extra depressed lately and crying like 5 times a day and my partner asked me if I cried today and when I said yes he said “that’s not surprising you haven’t seen your family since Christmas. This is why I’ve been saying we should drive in for Mother’s Day.”

And I just… I hadn’t put it together that my mental health takes a really steep decline when I go more thank 3-4 months without seeing someone from my family. But they noticed. They noticed and made plans to try to fix it.

Every day he does something else that makes me feel so loved and so cared for in a way I hadn’t believed I deserved. It’s taken so many years of therapy for me to believe that love and care isn’t about what you think you deserve, it’s something you give to people and people can give to you.

There wasn’t a point to this post, I’m just crying again and he’s snoring next to me with one our cats between us. The tears aren’t sad this time. They’re tears of love.

i’m a sucker for enemies to lovers. the tension is top tier. the fact that it’s someone seeing the worst sides of a person, being their enemy, yet still loving them. the realisation that they love them, not just hate them. it’s perfection.

but it has to be done well because about 80% of the time i end up hating the characters because their hate for each other is almost always unjustified. they can’t just be bitter and petty and act like an annoyed toddler. give me an actual valid reason for them to be enemies please because otherwise it’s just painful to read. it’s got to be good.

I’m thinking of a bigger project such as a 50,000+ word fiction that I can illustrate for (and design), which we can later publish as a limited edition digital/physical novel together, with you as the author and me as the illustrator. It can be a preexistent work, of course!

So if you think you’ve got a fic that’s up to par, send it my way!!

It doesn’t even have to be fully finished yet, as I won’t be able to do this until July anyway. When you send it to me, I’ll read it and just give you a yes/no answer for whether I think it’d be a good fit for me personally.

I do have a preference for canon character x OC stories instead of canon character x canon character ones, but I’m flexible :)

Thinking about How Tristan uses wings to fly and Lancelot can become a fairy but Gwen didn't luck into getting her mom's summon wings, so instead she uses her summon swords like skateboards and Lancelot thinks that's cooler so he does the cat thing of showing clear interest by pretending he's not interested in it and Gwen just automatically summons a sword for him him everytime and he pretends he's not totally psyched to look cool like that but sometimes they race around with their own flying methods and Gwen does tricks like leap-of-faith type shit out of How To Train Your Dragon and I was 100% listening to We Go Where No One Goes when I thought of this and the three of them are just insufferably silly sometimes and I love them they're so linked together in my head I have so my thoughts and ideas I wanna ramble about but I can't type fast enough to get enough out
