I've seen this post circulate quite a bit. There are many meanings to it. For me it's akin to surveillance of an injured person or a disability claimant. In the early 80's insurance companies in the USA started to hire private investigators to try and nail employees lying who were collecting disability benefis. The practice spilled over to personal injury litigation and now today - insurance companies may put surveillance on seriously hurt suffering victims on occasion to try and discredit them and lessen the amount of money they will pay you. Digital surveillance is the cheapest and by far the most effective. @erinwills22 is an enormous blessing to me. She's also an enormous blessing to our clients. ~ Here are the two of us (second/third from left) volunteering with @goreparkoutreach this past Saturday. It's an amazing organization that each week, gives out hundreds of hot meals, operates a food bank with everything you can think of including fresh fruit and vegetables, and @being_margaret tells me this week there was even a barber, cutting hair and giving straight razor shaves in the park. It was just the most heartwarming thing seeing so many people come together to ensure those struggling to survive in this ruthless economy (housed or not) are treated with dignity, love and a smile. ~ Erin doesn't work *for* me. She works *with* me. She is a teammate in everything we do, including immediately raising her hand to help with work like we did shoulder to shoulder together in Gore Park Saturday. ~ If you need us, rest assured she cares for, and about each of our clients. Being diagnosed with breast cancer can lead to serious depression and severe emotional distress, especially during the first year after diagnosis. A recent study in Journal of Palliative Care reported that over half of female breast cancer patients are likely to experience severe mental health realted issues. This fine young gentleman is Adam - am to me he’s an inspiration. At 23 he was married, had 2 beautiful kids and had a great job. His life was completely together - much more than many others his age. In 2021 Adam was hit while riding his motorcycle by a driver who wasn’t paying attention. Unfortunately he lost his right arm and left leg. - among many other serious injuries. Adam and his wife put their faith and trust in me and my firm - and we are eternally grateful for that. This one matters. We had the pleasure or representing a sweet 8 year old boy who was sadly run over by a truck while he was riding his scooter. The boy suffered very severe orthopedic injuries which required and will still require years of therapy into the indefinite future.
