Decided to draw Harada this time after once again being inspired by one of my bromides. After my last picture, I didn't want to draw the umbrella again so I decided to draw him holding his spear instead, which ended up just being difficult in a different way!

Every time I photographed this drawing to upload it, I noticed mistakes or details I missed. First it was the spear (I've lost count of how many times I've redrawn the bottom end), then it was part of the drawing I forgot to shade (and then the shading ended up not showing up as well in the picture as IRL). Even just now, making this post, I noticed somewhere I should have gone back and made the outline darker and also that I probably should have made the blade a bit longer (though it's almost off the edge of the page as it is). But I've decided I'm just going to be done with this for the time being and move on.

I challenged myself to finish an art piece in a day. This took about 6 hours I think. Cue my favourite line from the entire game.

My idea with this piece was that he is sitting and reminicing on a distant memory from a past life he can't pin point in his present life. The blue sky reminds him of something, but he can't remember what.

I love Iba and theere is a serious lack of Iba art so I might make more.

Venting down here. Feel free to skip!

The main idea is to make a contrast between the two crossdresser twins. I stripped their chest intentionally to indicate their ture identity with their contrast action to it. Kaoru wearing woman’s makeup while Chizuru wearing men’s hairstyle.

This was supposed to be colored at first, but coloring only make Kaoru looks weirdly innocent for an unknown reason. 🙄 I didn’t want to change the lineart in favor of the color so I tried every color tone possible but neither of them worked. Tbh, it’s a little disappointing after a long plan with so much hopes and effort 😭

But as long as Chizuru looks fine to me, it’s all good.

I saw these really cute hakuouki cafe-themed merch where all the characters were in cute little waiter uniforms. I wanted to try drawing my own version for fun and practice.

I wanted to include Saito's two swords Kijinmaru and Magoroku as waiters as well but, I didn't like how the camellia flowers on their cakes turned out so I didn't post them since they are still unfinished

My first time properly drawing anything in over a year (possibly more)!

Watching @koto-wari's drawing streams made me want to try drawing stuff again. I said so in the stream and Koto said, "Then you should draw!" Took me a while to actually get around to it, though. But my Kento/Okita bromides arrived recently and I thought the positionof his hand was interesting. I had some time this evening, so i drew! I thought this would be easier, just starting with one hand instead of both of Yuta/Heisuke's hands that I was initially thinking about drawing from one of my other bromides. I like hands, but they're hard to draw!

I was initially just going to draw his hand and the sword handle, then once I filled a bit in I felt like I needed more, so I ended up trying to draw the sleeve of his haori, too. I think the scale got more and more off as I added more and more details to this, but I'm satisfied with this effort. It felt good to draw. I took the photo on the right first, then I realized having the actual picture next to the drawing would make sense, so I took the photo on the left with the bromide and the drawing together.
