GINGERBREAD HOUSES

[SYNOPSIS] ˚⁀➷｡ building gingerbread houses with the tr boys!!

ABSOLUTELY DEVOURS : you would have never thought he would take this seriously, but he did. he prepares the frosting, asks you about where you want the candies to be put and what aesthetic you want to go for. he’s THE architect of gingerbread houses and trust, he will make that house the sturdiest one the earth has ever seen. don’t be fooled though, he’s still gonna dip his finger in that frosting and smudge it on your face, but not before he makes you happy by finishing the house.

tries his… best: he’s still sloppy with it, and the frosting melts until he understands what you want the house to look like, but he tries his best best — runs to put the melting frosting in the fridge in hopes of saving it, tries to be extra careful with his movements — but it all seems in vain. the house looks like an old shed that’s about to fall, but at least he made you laugh.

doesn’t take it seriously… at all: he’s not being mean on purpose, but he really can’t fathom building that gingerbread house successfully. the gingerbread smells funky, you’ve left him the task of preparing the frosting which in all honesty was the worst idea ever — it’s sloppy, it’s clumpy— and he’s already eaten half of the candies you guys were supposed to use as decor while you’re exasperating on the floor, next to him. but he looks at you, smiling, and you burst out laughing, rolling on the carpet and he joins too and you’re both left a giggling mess.

all in one ↓ °- kazutora, chifuyu, seishu, shinichiro, hakkai, akkun

he gets flustered with kisses, any sort of kiss he feels all bubbly and warm. holding his face with your gentle hands while pressing your lips all over his face leaving lipstick marks on him. running your hand over his forehead to move back his hair to place a kiss there and one on the side, then gradually move down to kiss him on the cheek bone and then his jaw.

the neck is where he's the most sensitive, he's already ticklish enough and feeling your lips on him here and there is almost agonising that a cold yet warm shudder ran down his spine making him to have a small gap between his own lips to let in and out shaky breathing to try and gain composure of his emotions.

his hands that were simply resting on his knees were now a little clutched in a fist to avoid giving in to you and take over. he would have done that sooner but he didn't want to ruin your work,

leaning back to reveal your art work that you had placed on him with lipstick stains in the shape of your lips and immediately smiling being proud of yourself, "there, I think that'd be enough" it was all for your photography class. despite what the reason for this was, you certainly didn't ignore the flushed state that you had put him in but you pretended that you had no clue what was going around in his mind.

though once you've taken your photos he was certainly going to get payback for making him feel so agonised with what felt like slow teasing. he was gonna put you in the same flustered state that he's in.

Mitsuya made sure to keep you company throughout the break, talking to you about random topics to make you feel at least familiar with the environment.

After managing to make friends with you, he took you for a walk through the school corridors and also to visit the sewing club where he spent most of his time.

Yuzuha sat at the table where you were staring at you for a while, the girl smiled and offered you a sweet, making you sudden presence out of common.

"I saw you here alone and came to keep you company, I hope you don't mind." Still smiling, he said, Yuzuha started to talk to you and showed interest in your friendship.

She held your hand and walked you around the school to get you to know the place better. Yuzuha would also make sure you felt good and know that you weren't alone in that school or that you would be excluded.

𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐲𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐚

Souya preferred to be alone, but, seeing you from afar, he felt like keeping you company, even though he was shy, he found the courage to face his shyness and go talk to you.

"Hi! Sorry to bother you." He gave an awkward smile and sat next to you, remaining silent most of the time, Souya just remained there keeping you company.

After some time talking briefly, you ended up becoming friends and started sitting together at every break.

𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐚

Hakkai was also sitting alone as usual, despite that, when he ended up laying eyes on you and watching you there alone, he struggled to put his shyness aside and got up to go to you.

After a while Hakkai would sit next to you and you would immediately notice the boy's nervousness, even so, he would offer you what he was eating with a shy smile to try to get closer to you.

"H-hey, I know we haven't met but I want you to know that you're so beautiful..." Looking away at the same moment, he would say, leaving you surprised, after Hakkai managed to overcome his shyness, you would end up becoming like best friends.

𝐈𝐧𝐮𝐢 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐮

He was on break reading some books when he got distracted by seeing you alone, sitting in a secluded corner. Initially, he didn't want to disturb you, but he ended up changing his mind and went to talk to you.

"Is it okay if I sit here? I promise I won't bother you." Inui asked gently before sitting next to you, he always seemed interested in making friends with you even though he was somewhat reserved.

Inui remained by your side, continuing with the reading he would do previously, after talking for a while, you ended up becoming friends.

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐤𝐢

Takemichi was sitting alone when he saw you, at the same moment, he took courage and went to your table.

"You're new here, aren't you? Do you mind if I sit next to you? It's just that I don't want to be alone..." He said with an awkward smile as he sat next to you, despite looking apprehensive, he He remained kind and interested in getting to know you.

After almost having a heart attack on your side, Takemichi started to start a conversation trying to demonstrate that he was really determined to be your friend.

𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚

Hina liked to make new friends, for that reason, as soon as she saw you sitting alone, she didn't hesitate to try to talk to you.

She sat next to you and watched you for a short while, Hina seemed a little apprehensive and a little shy, but she remained there anyway.

"I hope you're enjoying school! If you want, we can walk the halls after class, what do you think?" After Hina eventually put her shyness aside, she would make a point of making you feel good and try to maintain a friendship with you.

𝐊𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐨

Kakucho always preferred to be alone during the break, however, when he saw you alone at the table in front, he ended up starting to pay attention to you and made the decision to keep you company.

"Hey, I hope I'm not bothering you." He sat next to you with a subtle smile, leaving a small chocolate cupcake in front of you while remaining a little shy.

After break, Kakucho took you to see the school, even if he was a little quiet, he would make sure to make you comfortable and not let you feel out of place or excluded.

Draken stopped his movements on his bike, lowering the tool he had in his hand and getting up to sit by your side.

"Alright. What is it? I promise it won't change a thing, I'll always stay by your side, okay?" He says in a soft voice, looking at you with seriousness in his eyes.

You take a deep breath, getting the words ready before you look him in the eye. "Would you still love me if I was a worm?".

"..."

"Actually, I don't think I love you as a person." He goes back to his bike, working on it silently.

"Come on! This is serious! Would you? I really wanna know..." You whine as you walk behind him.

Draken let's out a sigh. "Yes. I would love you if you were a worm."

You perk up and go crouch next to him by the side of his bike.

"Really? Even if I was an ugly one?" You ask cheerfully.

"You already look like an ugly worm." He teases blankly, neutral voice.

Oddly enough, his last response doesn't sound like the truth.

Hinata Tachibana.

"Hinaaaaaaaa." You call out, to your girlfriend sitting on the other side of the couch.

"Yeah!" She tells you. "I would get you a little terrarium. Fill it with fresh soil and spraying it a bit, putting little leaves in it and making sure you're well nurtured." She explains nonchallantly.

"Would you get me little decorations?"

"Yup. Some tiny sticks and little branches with holes for you to hide. Some pretty rocks too." She adds cheerfully.

"..." You stare at her. "I love you."

My headcanons on …-

IZANA KUROKAWA 👑

- learned English by reading books at the orphanage

- half his life he didn’t know his origins so even if he’s half Japanese and half Filipino he doesn’t know any single words of Tagalog

- got his earrings in a temple

- he doesn’t like slow people, he prefers when others are fast/quick to do what he orders

- this guy knows his worth so if you want something with/from him you’ll have to beg him or even kneel

- love language : ( giving ) always looking(staring) at you like he’s watching over you

- love language : ( receiving ) telling him what he wants to hear, acting soft and calm with him

- can act like a brat in public if he’s feeling bad/angry

- read people’s facial expressions/body movements so easily it’s like a second nature for him

- i feel like he is not interested nor ready for a romantic relationship

- sleeps for like 3-4 hours

- wears baggy pants/sweaters + heels + Vivienne Westwood jewelry

- hates being interrupted

- stares blankly at his fish tank

- he’s a picky eater

-> Seishu Inui (Finds it relaxing that he doesn’t speaks too much because he has grown to love silence, likes how they can talk about how they both loved Shinichiro without being blood related to him) ✅✅

MONDAY MAY 2ND, 2006.

what was it about public transportation that was so god damn confusing? i mean, sure, the concept is simple, find the bus you wanna get on and you know, get on it.

until you take into consideration all the factors in between which, for everyone's sake, i won't bore you with. save for two.

not only had you deemed public transportation your sworn nemesis, but now you were battling it in a city you’d never stepped foot in.

actually, there was someone in a similar situation to you, also (temporarily) struck by the punishment hammer that was being forced to bus everywhere while his motorcycle was in the shop. the day you met hakkai shiba was the first day you had to take the bus to your new part-time job across town. you approached him while he leaned lazily against a sign, displaying a small cartoon bus with a number inside it.

“um— excuse me?” hakkai felt his bones go stiff at the feminine voice that called to him.

“sorry to bother you, i was just wondering, uh, is this the bus that go….”

he didn’t get to hear where you were trying to go as his brain did its absolute best to tune you out. meanwhile, you waited patiently for a response.

…a response that the tall boy in front of you was really taking his time preparing. all while he kept perfectly still and facing forward.

“…um—excuse me…?”

had he not heard you?

“…hello?”

was he just ignoring you? sure you understood not wanting to talk to someone, but a simple nod of his head would suffice, no?

“sorry— i just really need to know if this is the right stop to get on.”

hakkai didn’t move.

“um, i start at a new job in less than an hour? i can't really afford to get lost right now.” you chuckled uncomfortably, hoping to ease the tension.

nothing. it was as if you weren’t even there.

“…anything?”

nope.

“blink once for yes??”

your hands drop to your sides, all you received was more nothing. his eyes didn’t even twitch.

“i’m—i’m just gonna try the stop down the road.”

hakkai couldn’t bring himself to watch from his peripherals as you walked away from one of the most awkward situations of your teenage life.

away, and to the wrong bus stop.

TUESDAY MAY 3RD, 2006.

the next time hakkai saw you was actually the very next day, after your first encounter with him. around the same time, as well.

turns out, you and he would be sharing a bus route until the youngest shiba’s bike was fixed and ready for riding again.

lucky you!

you nearly threw yourself into the traffic beside you when the same guy from yesterday was back at the stop. the stop you learned the hard way was actually the right one.

you trudged up beside him, leaving an awkward distance between you while he was sitting on the bench, and you opted for standing to the side of it.

“…sooo, turns out this was actually my stop, haha.”

you desperately tried to talk to him again, hoping to prove to yourself that he wasn’t really ignoring you as bad as you’d hoped the day before.

he didn’t answer.

“i um— got on the wrong bus yesterday. ended up all the way in roppongi? i think that’s what it was called, anyway.”

answer. say literally anything oh my god i’m begging you.

“pretty cool area, i'd never been before. silver lining, right?”

you turn to look at him, he’s pale as a ghost.

“youuu uh, ever been? to roppongi?”

….no response ever came. you clear your throat.

“awesome, cool, cool.”

this was gonna be a long week.

WEDNESDAY MAY 4TH, 2006.

back at the bus stop you stood, almost shoulder to shoulder with the same boy who you tried almost everything to pry a word out of the last two days.

tuesday night it dawned on you, what if he just…couldn’t hear you? maybe he had some kind of hearing impairment! it would be pretty shitty to assume he was just blatantly ignoring you if that was the case, so, wednesday afternoon you tried again.

“um, hey.”

you looked beside you to the stone face that was becoming unfortunately familiar. he didn’t answer.

so, like any sane person would do, you poked his arm.

hakkai audibly gulped, but continued to keep his eyes on the scenery in front of him.

“…hello? anyone home?”

you poked him again. hakkai started to sweat rather profusely. it was a good thing he couldn’t see the way your brow furrowed at the physical cues that he indeed did know you were there.

“okay, what gives? are you just like– really not talkative or something?”

you’re a fool for waiting patiently for some kind of acknowledgement. hakkai was frozen in place.

“...seriously? nothing? not even telling me to shut up or– or leave you alone or something??”

you stomped your way in front of him, and finally reached a hand up to wave it in front of his face.

“just one word! one word and i'll never speak to you again. swear it.”

hakkai, to everyone’s surprise, didn’t move, his eyes dead set straight. the waving and begging went on until your bus came to a screeching stop behind you.

maybe tomorrow.

THURSDAY MAY 5TH, 2006.

hakkai truly was beginning to mourn having an unlimited form of private transportation. not only did he hate the crowded seats of the bus, or quickly grow tired of the schedules ruining his chance to stay with his friends or gang members late that week, but hakkai had also convinced himself you were one more day away from just deciding to punch him square in the gut.

you absolutely were, by the way.

it’s not that he didn’t feel bad, but c'mon! anyone who knew him knew that yuzuha was the only girl he could talk to, it wasn’t anything against you personally.

it also didn't help that, you too, were completely socially inept. i mean, who keeps trying to make conversation with someone after finding out they’ve been actively ignoring them? anyone else would have just, y'know, moved along.

you being pretty, like, really pretty wasn’t helping his case much either, but he couldn’t bring himself to think about that for longer than a millisecond before he turned red.

thursday, you didn’t show up for the bus. hakkai waited, watching the side of the sidewalk you would normally arrive from, but you never showed.

which, in theory, should have been elating for him. it was a day where he could take a much needed breather, where he could comfortably arrive home without clammy hands or sweat beading down his neck.

it was…a little disappointing. not that hakkai necessarily enjoyed making a fool of himself (or shutting off all his senses to avoid that from happening,) but he couldn’t deny that your antics were… funny? to him? you were kind of an idiot, but in an endearing kind of way.

hakkai hoped to see you at the stop tomorrow.

FRIDAY MAY 6TH, 2006.

friday marked the end of the week, alongside the end of hakkai’s journey as someone who regularly relied on the public transport system. tomorrow morning, he would pick up his bike, and bring her back home where she belonged. balance would be restored.

you, however, were dreading leaving your home.

the day prior, you had the luxury of getting a ride to work from a friend, putting an ease to your mind and it’s swarm of thoughts regarding the very tall, very well sculpted, very pretty, very well kept–

the guy at the bus stop who wouldn’t pay any mind to your existence even if it meant his damn life was on the line.

he was an idiot, you were sure of it. not only was he stupid, he was rude! you ended up nearly stranded in another district because he couldn’t even spare you a nod of his head!

who cared that he was pretty? who cared that he had some of the best bone structure you’d ever seen in person, or that he was already standing at 183 cm at an age you assumed couldn’t be far from your own? he sucked!

…okay you cared. you had a thing for him. it was utterly humiliating. all you had done was run around poking (literally) and prodding at him for the last week, all because you didn’t know how to properly say “hey, i wanna talk to you!” or “hey, why are you ignoring me?”

that, and the curiosity of what could be causing him to pay such little attention to you was genuinely driving you up the wall. you digress. today, you would make it right.

you finally arrived, i shouldn't have to mention where by now, and were relieved to see the familiar blue buzz-cut. relieved alongside cursing god for making it so you actually had to speak to him again. you slowly took your spot to his left.

“...hey, um–”

you played with the strap of your bag.

“sorry if i’ve been on your nerves or anything this week, realised i was bein’ kinda overbearing.” you chuckled and looked up at him, not surprised at the lack of feedback.

“i just moved here? and everything has been going pretty south for me, but i didn't mean to take it out on you or anything.”

hakkai’s jaw was clenched, but staying true to himself, he didn’t answer.

“anyway, sorry again. hope the rest of your day goes alright.”

hakkai clenched his fists together, sucked in the deepest breath he thought he'd ever taken, and before the bus rounded the street corner, he spoke.

“..sh..ba…h..kai…” it was shaky, and it was spoken through his tightly clenched teeth, but he managed.

“...p–pardon?” you did your best to keep your eyes from widening and having your shock spread across your face, but it was a feeble attempt. hakkai turned his head in the opposite direction, away from you.

“..shiba…hakkai..” he mumbled again, but the second time was thankfully more clear.

it quickly became your turn to stare straight ahead of you, unable to form some kind of answer in your head. you had been so damn talkative before, too.

the bus came to a rusty stop in front of the two of you. only then, were you able to mutter your name in response to him. one painful week later, you finally had an introduction.

maybe hakkai would keep taking the bus home even after picking up his bike. only sometimes, though. baby steps.

you two were situated at the table where souya was cooking ramen for the two of you. you were staring at his back, him swiftly moving around to chop the ingredients here and there. "are you sure you don't want me to help souya kun?" he looked at you and smiled so sweetly. "it's okay y/n" he placed the ramen in two separate bowls and served in infront of you. "wow! thankyou souya kun it smells so good!" "no worries y/n go on eat it" you took the chopsticks and slurped the noodles, moaning at the salty taste. "ugh souya kun your cooking never disappoints, chefs should hire you at this point!" souya became so shy he wanted to drown himself in the ramen broth "w-well thankyou uh y/n" he had to excuse himself for blushing too much and his cheeks were hot.

he was dusting away his suit in front of the mirror to attend mitsuya's fashion show, you were gazing at the man who had a ponytail. his suit was emerald coloured, matching with his sister's. "hm do i always mentioned that you look so handsome hakkai?" you blurted out. hakkai stiffened and looked at you through the mirror, his cheeks started to get pink. "oh um, i do think you always mention that?" "hm then i'll say it more often then" it's the way you say it so honestly and without hesitant that made his knees buckled.

he was just done beating up unwanted intruders at the area, you being surrounded by his members until he's done. he approached you and smiled but a different one, like a genuine one. "hm although you look so attractive like this, all bloody and all just go easy okay?" you stroked his cheek that has blood on it, not his blood for sure. "okay then wait here i'll beat up more people so i can be more attractive for you" "nahoya kun.." he has no problems at accepting your honest compliments, he does gets blushes over them he just doesn't admit that.

draken had just woke up and took a shower. he sat on the floor while you were drying his hair, not trusting him to do so when he's still sleepy and everything. draken had his hair routine done by you for a while now, as he had to wake up early and you were a morning person you saw no harm in doing your boyfriend's hair. after drying his hair, you combed the hair with your fingers humming at the softness "your hair is so soft ken.." the statement made draken's eyes widened as your voice was enticing and the fact that he couldn't see your face made it more nerve-wracking. "well, you take care of them everyday, they're soft because of you" you kissed the top of his head braided his hair while draken blushed.

he was busy stuffing his face with the delicious dorayaki while you stared at him eating so happily. it made you content that he enjoys dessert, it's so obvious at everyone's eyes and it's so adorable. he had dorayaki fillings stained on his lips so you used your point finger to remove the stain away, touching his lower lips. mikey stopped his munching and looked at you. what he also doesn't expect is when you ate the filling that was on his lips, making him look somewhere else to hide his flusters. "do-do you want some dorayaki y/n?" "oh it's okay mikey, you eat them okay?" yeah man just blushed even harder.

nokazutora is oblivious towards flirting sometimes so he's glad he dated with you who's direct and says things simply like that. so whenever you compliment him, he truly acknowledge that it's the truth you're talking about, not just some random flirts. "y/n did you really mean it when you said you like my long hair?" he hesitantly asked you who was on your laptop. "yes tora, i think the yellow highlights go well with long hair. but i think you look good in any hairstyle" you smiled at him who was lying down on the bed. you didn't noticed how he buried his face in the pillow, tempted to scream at your sweet compliment. "well, i think you look good in every hairstyle too y/n" he made eye contact with you and had to buried his face in the pillow again so you wouldn't see his red cheeks.

Birthday (Flufftober 2023 Day 5)

Summary: no one showed up to your birthday party except one other person

Note: hakkai is so precious i wanted to write something for him <3

Birthdays were dumb.

Why?

Because right now you were sitting at a picnic table by yourself celebrating yours on your own. Not a single person you invited had showed up to your party; all the ones that had told you yes had texted you various reasons as to why they couldn’t come as you were getting set up at the park: something unexpected popped up, or they fell ill, or they were just too busy.

You had believed them, that is, until you were scrolling through social media when you stumbled across the popular kid’s profile and they had posted a photo of them celebrating their birthday with all the people that couldn’t come to yours. That solidified your thoughts on birthdays being the dumbest thing in the world.

Your eyes filled with tears and you dropped your head on the table. There was a lot of pizza and cupcakes but you couldn’t bring yourself to eat. It was a blow to your ego, that much was for sure, and you felt like the lamest person in the world as you sat there, your sniffles and the sounds of nature being the only thing to break the silence.

“I don’t think you're supposed to cry on your birthday,” A guy’s voice startled you from your pity party.

Looking up, you saw a tall teenager you recognized from your class as Hakkai Shiba. He was a shy boy that didn’t talk much to you, but you had still invited him to your party because he was nice and you didn’t want him to feel left out. He hadn’t given you a definitive answer on whether he would come, but here he was with a small present in hand. You were surprised, to say the least.

Hakkai then looked around and asked in a curious tone, “Am I early?”

At this, you wiped your eyes and shook your head, “It’s just us. Everyone else went to a different party.”

“Oh,” Was all he said before adding with a light shrug, “Well I’m here.”

You cracked a small smile, saying quietly, “I’m glad you could come. It means a lot.”

Hakkai took a seat next to you with a smile of his own as he held out the small box. He looked sheepish as he explained, “It’s not much, but I got you this.”

You took it from him and gingerly removed the wrapping. It was a jewelry box and when you opened it, your mouth dropped open in shock. Inside was a bracelet made of colorful glass beads and dangling from it was a little butterfly charm.

“Oh wow,” You looked at it in awe, lifting it up from the box to get a closer look. Then you slipped the bracelet around your wrist, your smile growing as it fit perfectly. “I love it.”

Hakkai released a small breath of relief, “I didn’t know what you liked, but I saw it and thought of you.”

Your happiness overtook you and you gave him a quick hug as you thanked him. When you pulled away, his cheeks were dusted a light pink, clearly flustered by your actions.

“Sorry, I just got excited,” You apologized quickly, feeling a little embarrassed yourself.

He looked away and cleared his throat, “It’s fine. I’m just glad you like it.”

It fell silent for a moment and your gaze landed on the pizza and cupcakes, realizing that it was way too much for just the two of you. Tilting your head, you looked over at Hakkai and asked, “You wouldn’t happen to know anyone who would want some free food would you?”

Hakkai looked at the food, humming in thought, “I could text my sister and Taka-chan if you want.”

Grinning brightly, you nodded your head, “The more the merrier.”

And so Hakkai sent a message to his older sister, Yuzuha. She answered right away saying that she’d be there in about ten minutes. While you waited, you and Hakkai spent the time getting to know each other better. When Yuzuha showed up, she brought with her another boy that went by Mitsuya, or Taka-chan as Hakkai had called him.

Being with the three of them was a lot of fun and you couldn’t remember the last time you laughed so much. Hakkai really saved the day and for that, you were grateful. You even exchanged numbers with him so you could start making plans to hang out again. By the time it was over, you felt like it had been the best birthday you ever had.

let me start by describing the polaroid

your polaroid consists of a drunk, blurry selfie you took with your boyfriend when the two of you had one too many drinks.

he’s leaning against a brick wall on the street, struggling to light a cigarette. he’s got one leg propped up, the other fully out in the street, and his white hair is messy. he looks so grumpy too 🥹🥹

then, in the opposite corner, there’s you! your face is so zoomed in and blurry but your contagious smile ia still noticeable, through the crinkle of your eyes and very very stretched skin around the mouth from how hard you’re smiling (since the mouth can’t even be seen)

almost goes into septic shock when mucho sees the picture and points out that it represents your guys’ dynamic pretty darn good (doesn’t say anything bad or laughs maliciously, genuinely think it’s cute)
