Crazy mental gymnastics but at least they are admitting it’s a genocide now.

The Israeli military has been posting grotesque videos of dead Palestinians on a racist Telegram channel. It’s typical for the ‘anything goes’ platform. Representatives from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) admitted to running a notoriously violent and racist Telegram channel following an investigation from Haaretz.  On October 9, 2023, the Telegram channel “72 Virgins—Uncensored” started posting gore-filled photos and videos from the frontlines of Israel’s war on Gaza. An investigation from Haaretz revealed in December that the Israeli military ran the channel. The IDF initially denied the accusation but reversed course after an internal investigation, Haaretz reported on Sunday. It’s an unsurprising revelation that highlights the grotesque appeal of Telegram, and how governments increasingly use the platform to spread propaganda. Videos and images on the channel included the dead bodies of Palestinian civilians and resistance fighters alongside racist text. “Exterminating the roaches…exterminating the Hamas rats…Share this beauty,” one post said above pictures of captured Palestinians. Another post showed an Israeli soldier dipping their gun into a liquid. “What a man!!!! Lubricates bullets with lard. You won’t get your virgins,” the text on the video said, according to a translation from Haaretz. In the past months, several unconfirmed videos have gone viral on social media purporting to show soldiers mocking Palestinians by dipping their bullets in pig fat, which is forbidden under Islam. Since October 7th, Nearly 30,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli military in Gaza, where Israeli occupation forces have blocked almost all humanitarian aid from entering the densely-populated Palestinian territory.
Some quotes:
"What a man!!!!! Greases bullets with lard. You won't get your virgins."
""Garbage juice!!!! Another dead terrorist!! You have to watch it with the sound, you'll die laughing."
The IDF wants the world, and Israeli citizens, to know of and revel in their genocide.

How Haaretz has aided Israel’s genocide in Gaza
Haaretz is widely considered Israel's leading liberal news source, but it has published and promoted some of the most harmful propaganda in support of Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

So are people making some conspiracy theory about an Israeli helicopter that somehow proves 10/7 is fake? Because that just sounds like "Heat can't melt steel beams" or however it goes
Haaretz quoted an "anonymous source within the Israeli police" saying an IDF helicopter shooting at Hamas death squads at Supernova had also inadvertently hit and injured Israelis in the crowd - no more detail than that. The Israeli police now officially says they had never made any such statement, they don't know what Haaretz thinks it heard, and they would have been in no position to check the actions of IDF helicopters either way.
It doesn't matter, the meme is out there now and will eternally be cited among the world of racist idiots who think Israel "confessed to sterilizing Ethiopian Jews" (thanks ALSO to Haaretz) or that Larry Silverstein admitted WTC7 was a controlled demo (another evil Jew, hmm, what are the odds).

@AliVelshi: Israel’s communications minister has accused Haaretz of “subvert (ing) Israel in wartime, undermin(ing) the spirit of Israeli soldiers & residents,” & “Serv(ing) as a mouthpiece for incitement of Israel's enemies. Propaganda in the service of the enemy and presenting the narrative of our enemies, while presenting lies, using anti-Zionist and anti-Israeli terminology and justifying the enemy.”

Israel's @haaretz reports that an Israeli official investigation concluded that an Israeli military helicopter killed revellers at the Nova rave on 7 October and that #Hamas fighters did not know about the festival.
Israel started its offensive on Gaza, killing over 12,000 Palestinian civilians, nearly half of whom are children, under the pretext of fighting Hamas and claiming that Hamas fighters attacked the festival goers.
Originally intending to target a Kibbutz, Hamas shifted plans upon discovering the festival. The investigation also indicated that an Israeli army helicopter, dispatched after the attack, mistakenly fired at festivalgoers instead of Hamas operatives, contributing to the casualties.
The festival saw at least 364 deaths, with the exact number caused by the helicopter unknown.
The discourse surrounding the event remains clouded by anti-Palestinian and Islamophobic rhetoric, hindering crucial discussions about the incident on 10/7.
Recent revelations suggest that the burnt bodies might have been Hamas militants, and Israeli helicopter fire is implicated in the deaths of some attendees.

Germany's anti-Semitism expert insists that saying Israel is adopting Apartheid policies is "inherently anti-Semitic." But South African Jews who have immigrated to Israel find themselves in agreement: these policies match what we recall. Benjamin Pogrund: I’ve lived through it before: grabbing power, fascism and racism, destroying democracy. Israel is going where South Africa was 75 years ago. It’s like watching the replay of a horror movie. In 1948, as a teenager in Cape Town, I followed the results of the May 26 election on a giant board on a newspaper building. The winner-takes-all electoral system produced distorted results: the Afrikaner Nationalist party, with its smaller partner, won 79 parliamentary seats against 74 for the United Party and its smaller partner. But the Nats, as they were called, in fact won only 37.7 percent of the vote against the opposition’s 49.18 percent. Although the opposition got more than 11 percent more votes, the Nats said they had a majority and could do what they wanted.
In the Israel of 2023, I'm reliving some of these same experiences. Our proportional election system can distort results as well: last November, Likud, with its smaller partners, won 64 seats against 56 for the opposition. In fact, the right-wing bloc won by only 0.6 percent of the vote. The 0.6 percent government says that it represents the will of the majority and can do whatever it wants. It goes on saying this even though a poll from the Israel Democracy Institute shows that less than one-third of Israelis back its law to end the so-called reasonableness standard, which allowed the High Court to overturn government decisions it deemed unreasonable.

In an interview with Haaretz, an Israeli representative from Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories - a governmental body whose statements were the entirety of Israel’s defense at the ICJ - said one of the most vile, racist things I’ve read:
“…there is no hunger in Gaza ... [before the war] there were stockpiles of food in Gaza. Don't forget that this is an Arab, Gazan population whose DNA is to hoard, certainly when it comes to food."

Mark that down as more evidence for the ICJ. Making the place unliveable, trying to make it seem pointless to reclaim.
