If you weren't suspicious before, you would be now.

Stepping into the living room, silence fell upon the entire Hobin company. You would have thought you imagined the laughter and chatter floating out from only moments ago.

Ah, there it is. You can see Taehoon sitting next to his friend, Yi Suryeon. He had mentioned her and the Runaway Fam.

What he neglected to mention was her comforting aura, and oh yeah: she's absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.

Rumi eyes you nervously, familiar with this sort of situation. She had tried to sit between them. All she got was a "piss off" for her troubles.

Mangi also tried to leave as soon as he heard the front door open, but was dragged back by Snapper. Guess misery really loves company.

Then when Gyeoul heard your footsteps and shushed everyone, it clicked. Everyone did shut the fuck up.

...Apart from Taehoon and Suryeon, who just looked bewildered. Actually, Taehoon looked annoyed, but he was always annoyed when you weren't around.

Suryeon really is beautiful, and a less secure person would have been worried.

But you're not insecure. And you have self confidence to spare.

Above all, you trust Taehoon. You know your boyfriend.

It's not that he neglected to mention all these details about Suryeon, it's just that he didn't notice at all.

You saw the way he zeroed in on you as soon as you entered the room, his body imperceptibly relaxing just by being in your presence. The little quirk of his lips, and the way his eyes light up.

And anyway, a friend of Taehoon is a friend of yours. Especially someone so beautiful. Her skin? Her hair? Her figure?? Maybe she can give you tips.

"Suryeon unnie!" you move to sit next to her on the opposite side of Taehoon, and immediately and sincerely start gushing and fawning.

In her past life as yoon gyeoul she had a friend whom she considered her older sister, yes shed been selfish in not telling any of her friends about her crisis with her father, and her lack of money.

Yet she considered y/n a reliable person so she would confide to her about her problems, her father, and about money.

Yes, maybe that's why she felt a connection to the girl in front of her, coincidentally the y/n in her world as the princess of hermano reminded her a lot of the y/n in her past life as yoon gyeoul.

Mabel's eyes bored into yours with slight curiosity, Oscar stood idly beside the girl and for the first time didn’t speak a word to Mabel. His entire attention was on y/n as he boasted to her about how Mabel had called him older brother a few days prior.

Y/ns eyes shifted from Mabel’s to Oscar’s. As the two now ignoring the new born infront of them.

And @challengingwords​​​ prompt #34 made it complete!

MJ x reader (you are supernatural being, i tried to make gender neutral reader, so if there is a mistake please let me know, so we can fix it <3) 

Your world was small and cold. But you didn't mind. You were made for it. Sometimes it snowed, sometimes it was calm. And always you were watching him. The first time you saw him was his birthday. He shook your world immediately and it snowed. His eyes sparkled and he laughed loudly. That was the start. That was the moment you fell in love. 

You knew it was hopeless. You were a prisoner of your small world and he was human. Knowing that didn’t stop your feelings. You were hopelessly in love with the man who owned your little world. 

Is something bothering you? you asked when he placed his head on the desk and sighned. You placed your hand on the glass that separated you.

 "Wow. I never noticed there was a figure inside," he exclaimed and picked up your little world and shook it. It began snowing.

"That’s awesome! After a year I discovered something new," he smiled. 

"Hi, I’m Myungjun. What is your name?" He stared at you so intensely, that under that glass something started to beat. 

"Hmm, not a talker, I see. Well, you are lucky I never shut up. I think I’ll call you Gyeoul, since you live inside a snow world," he said, "It's nice to meet you Gyeoul. How’s the weather?" he chuckled at his own joke.

You were glad to see his mood lightened. He shook your world one more time and watched the little snowflakes settle, then placed it on the desk again and left.

"Hello Gyeoul. You look different." He was looking at you again. He picked up your world and proceeded to turn it and examine.

 "You were definitely in another place! More closer to the glass!" he said and if you could breathe you would’ve stopped. He called the man who brought you to him.

 "Hey Moonbin! When you bought the snowball, was the figure on the horse or was she standing near the glass?"

"There was a figure?" Moonbin asked.

 "Weird," mumbled Myungjun under his breath.

 I should be more careful, you decided. The next few days turned into a game of cat and mouse.

"Ha! I knew you could move!" Myungjun exclaimed loudly and you stopped. You were caught. He was standing before you and looking at you with wide eyes. So you waved shyly. 

Myungjun yelled, "I'm going crazy!"

You shook your head, disagreeing with what he just said. No, you’re not, you thought. 

“I wasn’t meant to find this, was I?” 

Yes, you shouldn't know. It will not do you any good. 

"So what is your name, Gyeoul?" he asked and you gestured that you didn’t know. 

"What happens if I break the glass, hmm?" he said with a determined expression. 

You shook your head violently. 

Don't, please, it's my home. 

"Okay, in the end it was a gift," he calmed you down. "So what will we do?" 

Honestly? You didn't know. He wasn't meant to find you. You weren't meant to fall in love and grow a heart, which ached right now. You were made of glass, he was flesh and blood. 

"You could be my secret friend," he chuckled. You nodded in agreement and from that moment your friendship blossomed. He would talk to you about his music, friends and you listened, sometimes nodding or shaking your head in response. Everyday he sat down and talked to you and you were falling deeper in love everyday.

One day, there was ruckus in the apartment. Some screaming, some laughter. So you peeked, and saw Myungjun and his friend were playing some game. One threw a shoe at the other, he smack it and the shoe pushed your world to the ground. You heard a crack of glass and, Myungjun scream. He carefully picked you up. A tiny thing made from glass, so fragile and cold. 

"Gyeoul!" Myungjun cried. You looked at his face without the glass barrier between you for the first time. 

"Is the figure okay?" someone asked . 

"No, they are cracked," he said breathlessly. There was a crack in your heart and you knew you wouldn't survive long without your world. So you smiled at him and took your first and last breath. 

"I'm sorry. I will buy you a new one," said Moonbin.

 "No! I don't want any other snowballs ever again," Myungjun replied coldly.

 He picked up pieces of the broken snowball, placed them in a trash can and left the room.

"MJ hyung? Are you here?" shouted Moonbin. After the snowball incident, MJ was sad and not his usual self. So they decided to act. 

"What do you want?" said Myungjun. 

"Here, a little present." Moonbin gave him the box. MJ unpacked the box and picked up a snowball. 

"I said no snowballs," he shoved it back inside the box.

 "Look carefully!" Moonbin pointed out. MJ sighed and picked it up again, taking another look at it.

"That is..," he gasped. 

You peaked from the behind the horse and shyly waved.

Drabble: Winter Bear

Pairings: Kim Taehyung (V) x Reader

Word Count: 963

Genre: The purest f*cking fluff you’ll ever see.

a/n: This was inspired by Winter Bear, which I’ve listened to every night since it released to help me sleep. This... this was kinda emotional to write it’s so sickly sweet. I never thought I’d write something inspired by a song. But here we are. ‘GyeoUl’ is not an actual Korean name; it literally means ‘Winter.’ I hope you all enjoy.

It had been a long day… such a long day. Been a long week rather.  He’d hardly been home, always coming home after you and the little one had fallen asleep and having to rise before either of you could stir. It hurt his soul to return home like this, but what could he do but provide you both with a good life? Even if it meant sacrificing some of your daughter’s very early formative years if it meant that he would be there when she could remember him. He looked forward to the days when she’d greet him at the door when he returned home, hopefully with a little brother or sister or two.

He was thankful though that your daughter, GyeoUl, was still so little, letting you fall asleep while holding her in your bed. This in turn, when he returned home to sleep in the wee hours of the morning, he could sleep with his whole world, you and your daughter, in his arms.

Arriving home, the house was quiet, as to be expected. He was careful not to make too much noise, not wanting to wake either of you up as he unbundled himself from his heavy jacket and boots. He wandered into the kitchen, finding that you had left dinner for him on the counter. You had prepared him a bowl of soup and some rice: perfect for the winter weather, along with a little note, telling him how much you love him and how much you missed him. Sitting down at the table, he ate the soup in complete silence, letting his mind clear.

Just as he was about to put his dishes in the sink, GyeoUl began crying from your bedroom. Heading towards your room, he saw you half awake as you quietly tried to shush you daughter. He stood in the doorway for a moment, looking at you adoringly before walking towards you. Looking up, you saw him. “Tae, you must be tired. Just go to sleep. I’ll change her so you can sleep.”

He smiled at you and instantly took his daughter from your arms. “But I want to spend time with my little Winter Bear. I’ll change her. You just lay here and rest, my wonderful wife, who puts up with this incredibly busy husband.”

Taehyung rocked GyeoUl in his arms as he leaned down to kiss you. He smiled before taking her to the bathroom to change her. As soon as she was clean, he brought her up to his chest, just… holding her. God, he missed this, just holding her. She was still awake, but not for long: he knew exactly what would put her to sleep. Taking her to the rocking chair in the corner of your bedroom, he sat down with her head resting on his chest, as she sucked on her thumb.

You rolled over in bed, a small smile on your lips as he began rocking her, singing a lullaby gently to her. The way she looked up at him, her father, filled both of you with a love; an indescribable happiness. As he sang to her, her eyes slowly began to close as did yours. Taehyung couldn’t help but smile to himself as he watched the both of you snore gently. He continued to rock his little girl for a little while longer.

Once he himself was starting to feel sleepy, he got up, gently setting GyeoUl down on the bed, right in between where you and Taehyung sleep. She only stirred a little as you wrapped your arms around your little girl in your sleep. Smiling to himself, Taehyung left you two just long enough to change and get himself ready for bed.

He returned soon later, laying down, facing his girls. He stayed like that for a while, watching his Winter Bears dream of blue parrots as the sparkling light from the snow fell in the night, illuminating the loves of his life in its gentle glow.

He kissed your forehead first before kissing your daughter’s, wrapping you both in his arms, keeping you both warm on this cold night as he whispered, “Goodnight….”

Bit ignorant at the best of times, will keep checking up on you if you're quiet "are you ok???" "what you thinking about?" "why you so quiet?" or he looks out for signs that he's pissed you off so you need to reassure him

We've seen him with Bomi, he hasn't got the best instinct with a partner so you'll need to sit him down and talk through any potential issues

Seong Taehoon

Bastard that would be hiding your glasses all the time

Asks if you're blind without your glasses A LOT, and uses it as an excuse to get his face up close to yours (makes it easier for him to steal kisses too)

Your height would be a VERY fun aspect. He can't do the lean down and get in your personal space act that he does with everyone else, so he just thinks of other ways to make you generally flustered

Han Wangguk (I love him)

He's not used to being around quiet people. Being a Newtuber usually means a pretty big personality so it's a nice change of pace

The quietness between you both is never awkward, you just enjoy each others company

It takes a bit for him to get used to your height. His main point of reference lol is Gyeoul and she's not the tallest.

It actually makes some things a lot easier, like hand holding, hugs

Definitely the type of guy that would carry extra glasses wipes for you, or if you ask him to pass your glasses over he'll give them a quick clean. He's a sweet and thoughtful boy

This ask... You're killing me. I have NO idea what Yor Forger is. I thought it was a misspell of something to do with a forager 💀 I did a quick read of her Wiki and uhhhh. I think I get it? Sorta? Im so sorry I did try 😩

Reader characteristics: Aloof, not great social skills, murder-happy, intelligent but little common sense, very gullible, little insecure

Taehoon sees a bit of himself in you, that plus the mystery of your general aura compells him to find out more.

Turns out the mystery is just that you're a little odd. But your underlying kindness and preference for violent tendencies suckers him in.

And heavens above are you both a dangerous duo. You might be a little bit more... mild-mannered than your boyfriend but people initially tiptoe around the both of you in case they get their ass kicked.

Seriously, what a match made in heaven. If you two can just keep to yourselves and away from general society that would be much appreciated.

You may be able to punch Taehoon into next week, but being with you actually brings out his more protective side.

Once they get to know you, you're an easy target for some of the company's (and less well-meaning people's *coughGYEOULcough*) pranks. You don't really understand what's going on and your boyfriend has to reluctantly step in and tell them to piss off.

Honestly sometimes Taehoon gets a little exasperated with you. You seem intelligent enough but the questions you come out with. How did you get so far in life with your gullibility? How do you fall for the bullshit?

It gets to the point that he becomes a bit wary and anxious when he's not around you. And tbh that's not the way he operates. Thankfully over time you get better and it's not a moment too soon.

Absolutely loves sparring with you. Sure he would sulk if you get some hits in or win, but it's a way for him to get better. The fact that you're pretty tough with amazing durability? He doesn't need to hold back. It's SO refreshing to spar with a partner as an equal.

Seeing you in a proper fight though? He will gladly stand aside and cheer for you. Throw out cocky remarks and commentary that will guarantee to make you laugh. To Taehoon, you beating people up? There is possibly nothing sexier.

Despite initial misgivings, you and Gyeoul are very close. She sees you as a big sister. Loves how bloodthirsty you get. And the way you're so easily fooled? You're never sure if Gyeoul is laughing with you or at you but you're happy that she's laughing at all.

Your friendship causes Taehoon a bit of a headache but at least he knows that Gyeoul will cut the bullshit and look after you. The one with the full blown migraine would actually be Wangguk.

DREAMVISION : a four-piece band that was formed at ncit. has the aesthetics of a rock band but nobody can really figure out what genre they are as their releases keep surprising people. recently landed a record deal and working on their first full-length album.

yn, bass / (very occasionally) vocals : was given the nickname “gyeoul” by fans antis (meaning winter) because they seemed to have a cold personality and thought to be aloof and unapproachable. instead of getting mad, yn just made it their twitter @ and their fans call them gyeoul (affectionate) to take back the narrative.

xiaojun, lead vocals / rhythm guitar : dog dad to bella and yn’s childhood bestfriend. very protective of yn which is why a small (but very vocal) part of the fanbase seriously ships them. xiaojun doesn’t mind it because it’s better than those who hate yn for being close to him. 1 of the 3 people outside of family and professors who call yn by their actual name.
