GreyStripe's Vow rewrite comic. I wanted to show more of Fang/HoneyFang's distress towards Daffodil wanting to go with the humans after the cats were all freed from the hoarding house. I will gladly accept any questions about the rewrite and more specifically, Fang and Daffodil's relationship
(Also Fang/HoneyFang is a woman in the rewrite)

does barley exist? (I’m sorry he’s very special to me that’s why I asked)

HE DOES HE DOES HE DOES HE DOES!!!!
I drew these quite a few months ago when I was playing around with designs so take 'em!! (Also drew the beginnings of a comic at that time which hopefully I will finish up in due time :D!)
His sideburns make him look older but in our canon he's only like a handful or two of Moons older than Cedar and the gang :D
also important: He's got a funny little hat :) -Mod "Barley is in my top 10 fav's can you tell?" Dawn

i hc that a lot of the ‘original’ warriorclan cats are just teenagers/apprentice aged that like to go roleplay in the woods together. now monkeystar is stuck leading a fully established clan even though she’s only 15 and has to be home for dinner

ok um. i haven’t read or interacted with warriors in a bit so tell me all about fury you’ve made me invested in her
fury is the bloodclan leader in greystripe's vow !! basically when firestars away and greystripe is in charge fury is bent on getting revenge and whatnot . she's described as being even more violent than scourge was and she killed the old bloodclan leader to take control
in the end she gives up on her quest for vengance because she was wounded and blood loss ! yippee ! and so she leaves after being healed by cinderpelt

Honestly Greystripe's Vow was okay, but I always got the sense that they tried to parallel him training Warriorclan with Firestar training Skyclan. (And you get to see Greystripe's horrible mentorship in action again!) It was interesting to see what happened to the forest, but it was also unnecessary. Maybe if they had focused on Greystripe going back to try and use the Moonstone to reach Starclan then it'd have been better, but it was an afterthought. Also...I did not like how he said Monkeystar's deputy would be the true leader of Warriorclan when she died...that was such an asshole thought.
I think Greystripe going to the Moonstone (as a solution for the 'no StarClan in the lakes, and as part of a secret group in TC to try solve it) would have def been more interesting + fit with TBC more. Why would Greystripe, loyal TC warrior just 'go for a wander'? Even if you try say oh he was heartbroken becoz Millie died and when Silverstream died he 'went on a wander' to RiverClan it still makes no sense.
I think his 'Monkeystar's deputy would be true leader' was because a) he liked Fang more and b) WarriorClan is just kids playing pretend and going home to their safe houses but Greystripe sees it as a "legit" Clan or group of cats, to him he sees WarriorClan as a way for rogues/loners like Fang to find shelter and safety and hopes it will continue and not just end when Monkey and co get bored. Still an asshole comment. I did like the SkyClan parallels *but* i still see em as a bunch of kids playing pretend and not a legit Clan.. idk why the ending manga did That

fun fact anon here! fun fact: in graystripes vow, bugeater mistakenly calls twoleg kits "human kits", despite not knowing what a human is. in the same vein, willowpaw has mentioned a boat in dark river, despite not knowing what a boat is. another fact, there is a kit called tumblekit who died due to drinking "twoleg poison" which is heavily implied to either be oil or battery acid.

have either of you read the excerpt of onestar's confession yet? if so, what'd you think about what we've seen so far?
Neither of us have read it, and neither of us intend to. Lynx considers it a book like the other super editions, in that it doesn't need to exist. The only important part for her is that we now know the names of Tallstar's half-siblings as warriors, and that's about it.

I know this won’t happen but imagine this new arc somehow calls for Monkeystar to go ahead and cram her clan around the lake.

Honestly I’m surprised they didn’t give Scourge any secret kids. They gave Tigerstar some and he already had 2!
Obviously arc 2 is about them leaving the forest- and any Bloodclan survivors- but they could’ve put it in a novella or a super edition. Even as late as Greystripe’s Vow.
A white tom with a single black paw emerged from the crowd, the teeth on his purple collar glistening in the sun. With a surge of dread Greystripe realised who this cat with familiar features must be.
“I am scourge jr.” the tom declared, “and I’m here to kill Greystripe, the protagonist of this book, even though it would make more sense for me to have beef with Firestar.” His collar was as red as the blood from all his victims.
