sorry in advance. whenever anyone says anything remotely nice about greystripe and millie i have to latch my talons onto them. but i ship them too. I likethem a lot i think theyre so interesting. like she left her entire life for this guy; and for what? they had a life changing adventure and she has a family and a support system now but greystripe just fades into the background while she has to juggle their three kids. one almost dies one trains in hell and one is bumblestripe. briarlight achieved so much and is the beloved briarlight of thunderclan but then you have hell daughter and bumblestripe. like compared to his older kids what do you really have (besides briarlight who does make up for her siblings). anyway they should've gone full throttle on making them bad parents none of this wishy washy shit. i also like how millie is pink they should've kept that in and made bumblestripe pink i think.

God thoughhh you are so right. Millie second guesses her decision in the comic a lot, and ultimately decides each time that it’s worth it for Graystripe. But then Graystripe is barely involved with their children and he’s nowhere to be found when Briarlight is injured. Combined with her line thats like “the twolegs would have been able to help her”, there’s something to say there about her place in ThunderClan. (Not that her treatment of Briarlight is in any way okay but psychologically it’s something to think about).

And yeah they should’ve committed to them being a good couple that should never have had children. its very telling to me that graystripes SE apparently does include a scene of him with millie, but barely gives a passing mention to their kids.

Also so true but personally I hate Bumblestripe so I would make Briarlight pink instead LOL. she deserves it

Sorry to say TNR programs were canon since the forest got borked. When the forest was cut down there was cats getting captured and greystripe got caught (hence the millie thing). There was also a warrior cats adventure dnd module around the same time where there was a TNR program you had to destroy and you could get ur balls chopped off possibly depending on ur DM lmaoo

i think i may have been misremembering the arc with the forest getting destroyed but i don't remember neutering being mentioned? i do remember the cats getting scooped up and adopted out, but no mention of them being neutered or specifically a TNR program.

also. y'know. as someone who ran a campaign once based on the warrior cats adventure game, i'm upset i didn't know about that module. (/hj) i could've been such an asshole to my players and had them all randomly lose their nuts.

While I was in college waiting for my next class to start, I just started thinking about Sandpaw and Rusty's relationship and how it'd work out for this AU.

They're a canon ship, and they're more of Rivals/Enemies to Friends to Lovers.

Rusty's a newly fledge scout and patrols the border, and they both catch each others eyes. Its pretty common for Kingdom Scouts to intervene and pass through clan territories if there is a good reason.

The clans don't like it but, its not like the scouts are hunting or marking territory.

Speaking of Scouts, Scouts are different from Knights. While Scouts/Rangers adventure around the land and report what they find, the Knights are more internal and basically guardians for the people and police the laws.

Trained for battle and the first ones called to the frontlines for conflict. They pledge their loyalty to their ruler and kingdom.

Greystripe has a hard time adjusting because he's not used to just.. doing much of that. He was a warrior trained to fight and such, but knights are treated as specialized bodyguards in a way. They protect their home but not as a constant if that makes sense.

Millie, for sure has a lot of dog friends and gradually helps Silver and Grey get used to the canines.

Feather and Storm further help push they're in no danger by playing with "Gramps," a large, burly gentle giant of a St. Benard lays around as the young ones play on him, and he lays around lazing about.

Dogs are on the Knights, and Scouts and Raccoons are rarely knights, but more commonly but also less commonly Scouts.

Gotta appreciate it when there's that bridge of friendship in between the transition of rivals/enemies to lovers. Also wow the Clans are tolerant of the Kingdoms sometimes sort of, this is a rare sight somebody take a picture.

That makes sense with how the Knights are different from the Warriors, makes sense as to why it takes so long for GreyStripe to properly solidify his place as a Knight. Praying the Knights aren't like actual cops.

Millie and her many dog friends/bodyguards gotta love it. Definitely takes a minute for Silver and Grey to get used to dogs (and, other animals at that). GRAMPS SWEEP GRAMPS SWEEP GIVE IT UP FOR GRAMPS!

I'm reading the series for the first time, and reading it in publishing order, so don't react with spoilers or I WILL block you and moderately hate you lol

I do the same thing for wc audiobooks on youtube (I'm going the pirate route because ✨money✨) and it's always really fun, so thought I could do the same for the comic :D

Have you read Greystripe's Vow? And what are your thoughts on Greystripe?

Admittedly I skimmed it becoz I just wasn't interested but I can give some thoughts.

I loved the Then vs Now parts and the way it was structured- GV and Blackfoots Reckoning stand out for more adventurous story-telling, along with SkyClan's Destiny and Stick's chapters. I just wasn't convinced by the plot or why it had to exist. The Fury/BloodClan bits kinda clash with the Ravenpaw's Path post-Scourge BloodClan plot even if you consider the two groups as different factions. Fang/Honeysuckle... yeah whatever. coincidental but sure ill buy it

The 'Now' stuff was just... Broken Code really dropped the ball around Bk4-5 but whatever. I didn't expect Greystripe to leave tho it was very... strange. and how this adventure became him saving ThunderClan i'm still not convinced on. I did like Flipclaw I guess, and Flywhisker and Snaptooth leaving was good. The SE was fun but really didn't add anything- like it just filled the gap between FQ-Ravenpaw's Path and did nothing else. not everything needs major character development or plot development (espec what should be separate SE's) but it was literally filler. maybe this would have been more interesting from Monkeystar or Fang's POV with them bumping into Greystripe on his wander, having had weird dreams and then setting up the Clan a bit more- a reverse Firestar's Quest in a way?

This is super nit picky- but the forest territory should have been left alone. Like the Great Journey seems so much less.. great and hard-won if any fucker can just cross the mountains. I always imagined the forest as completely fucking destroyed so seeing RC territory and the ravine in Ravenpaw's Farewell is just kinda.. rah its still there (yes WindClans fucked but whatever)

Also WarriorClan reminded me so much of my wattpad fanfic's TownClan- kittypets/longers formed into a Clan by an exiled Clan cat- and I was fucking champing at the bit to kick off about it. I did like them I guess they were just annoying kids imho. I did like seeing Barley tho : )

TL;DR The Erins constantly going back to fan favourite arcs and characters doesn't really benefit the world or the characters but it is fun to see them again. This SE is super ignored in the fandom (and I can see why) it just passed without any kind of... acknowledgement. I’d love to hear others thoughts becoz i feel like i never saw any discussion of it : (

Me being a Warriors fan is so funny. both of my favs died a while ago I have the entire Greystripe's Adventure set from before it was reprinted in color and before it was given a proper name as a series I keep forgetting the names of the current cats I am the reason one of my school libraries got more than the third series The guide book I have is obsolete I think I read one of the books at a local library but I have so Many of them that I don't actually remember I'm pretty sure I have all of the magna but not all of the graphic novels I named two of my stuffed cats after characters that die in like the first or second series I have never read the first book
