Look I’m not a Big Tumblr Name. I’m literally just some butch out here yelling into the void and I get that. But I really hope this reaches someone who needs to hear it, nevertheless. Do not try to give yourself an herbal abortion. Do not try to give yourself an herbal abortion. DO NOT TRY TO GIVE YOURSELF AN HERBAL ABORTION. Look I love herbal medicine. I love studying its history, I grow many plants with historical medicinal uses, I honor the greenwitchery of those who came before us. But that witchery was born of older times, times that were dangerous in a myriad of ways, and the cures of history reflect this. MOST HERBAL ABORTIFACIENTS ARE VERY DANGEROUS. Their mechanism of action is almost always to make you extremely sick because the body’s evolved reactions to poisoning and severe illness can include aborting and ejecting a developing fetus. Sometimes this works. Sometimes it just poisons you. This is not even touching on the many factors that make herbs more or less potent in ways most greenwitches are not equipped to measure. Remember your Paracelsus: the dose makes the poison.

Sometimes, yes, times are desperate. But right now, here, in this age, we are fortunate heirs to generations of herbalists and wise workers and alchemists whose work has compounded into new paths. These new crafts, just as esoteric and holy as the ancient herbalist’s way, just as precise and strange, have brought us stronger, more effective, more consistent remedies that are easier to acquire and SAFER.

Call them holy sisters if you wish, because they will bring aid to those who need it, when it is needed, and they can be got by any person in the United States by following the instructions at plancpills dot org. Nature's handiwork

Driving to work on a foggy morning in NH something caught my eye. I looked up into the power lines that lined the road I was on and there were what looked like shredded strands of something hanging from them. As the fog lifted, the dew that was left behind made many, many spider webs visible to the naked eye. They were pretty big as they were strung between the gaps in the wires. A couple were really big. I was very impressed with the hard work that went into those webs. Had I not looked up when I did I would have missed the show. I wonder how many other morning drivers witnessed this as well. Or was it just for me?
