Whiplash. My Personal Emotional Review

Whiplash has no few words to put into itself

it represents the young musicians thirst to be better and the Line between passion and forced boredom that comes with jazz. everything in this movie is amazing and I feel that nothing can really describe it within itself

I feel like the main character has such a deep hold within myself that I can still find myself getting emotional while watching clips and listening to the soundtrack

And as a Passionate High School Musician I feel like this made me want to get better at my own instrument as with jazz I often find myself getting stressed out or avoiding the music as a trumpet player mainly because of that fact that I hate confrontation.

This movie was a gigantic “fuck that” to this theme and reminded me what jazz and music itself truly is. Emotion

Whether wrong or right it’s still emotion and you’re still going to have to fucking pick up that damn instrument and play.

Because the right player won’t be discouraged.
