Growing up without God causes me to acquire a wealth of knowledge I need to unlearn now that I met Christ. Sometimes the old things present themselves as the right ones and it causes me to be bound in certain areas. But, though I fall, my God is able to lift me up and set me again on the path of righteousness. He is doing it for u too.

To abound in sin — that is the worst and the most we can or could do. The word abound defines the limit of our finite abilities. Although we feel our iniquities rise over us like a mountain, that mountain, nevertheless, has definable boundaries. But who shall define the limitless grace of God? It plunges our thoughts so much into infinitude and confounds them there. Thanks be to God for His abounding grace! ❤️

Mostly because of the inequality I saw between the sexes in matters of the heart, and largely due to the atrocities I'd heard and seen men get away with. I was hardened and determined that I'd fall prey to no man. At least not again... I thought of all the lessons that I'd learnt from being bitten one too many times. I believed that by building a hedge around me and a tall tower that only Prince Charming could climb, I'd be safe from ever being disappointed or heartbroken again. But God taught me otherwise.
