Speaking personally, I also have issues with sticking to a workout routine. Mainly because I hate hate HAAAATE getting hot and sweaty. I remedied this by signing up for water aerobics and I absolutely love it. Don't get hot and sweaty and I get to play in the water! I go twice a week and the ladies I work out with are all lovely. So it's about finding work outs you like and a support group within those workouts. I'm also on a meal plan called GoLo. It's all about portion control. There are pills that come along with the plan and you're meant to take one every meal, it boosts your metabolism to help burn fat and food in your gut. As i said, GoLo is about portion control and while it says you should avoid certain foods it doesn't outright ban you from them. Like for example I'm not supposed to be eating popcorn chicken but i still do because I don't eat a mini mountain anymore. I admit the first few weeks were hard cuz I'm such a picky eater but I'm slowly working on expanding my palette, and how I'm doing this is finding little spins on foods I already enjoy. For another example I really enjoy chicken breast with lawrys seasoning salt. But it gets boring after a while so I tried a new dry rub that I found online and really enjoyed it.

omggg water aerobics sounds like so much fun!! I’m not sure if anyone around here offers it, but I’ll def check into it. my apartment complex has a pool but there always seems to be someone in it. my parents also have a pool but they’re an hour away so 😵‍💫

Ever since he was a child, Eustass Kid had dreamed of becoming the next Pirate King. He wanted to prove everyone wrong. That the little brat with a mane of red hair who’d come from nothing, could be something. He would do it by himself, but Killer had advised that they get some allies to take out the big players in his path; given how things went last time the crew was up against the Red Hair Pirates. And Killer always had Kid’s best interest in mind, since they were brothers.

He didn’t like having to rely on anyone else, especially Scratchman and Hawkins but out of the Worst Generation, Kid thought they were almost equal to him in terms of prowess. Almost. Hawkins’ ability to see outcomes in the future and the percentages of surviving were an invaluable asset. Scratchman, meanwhile, could attack from a distance and disorientate enemies with his devil fruit.

That didn’t mean he had to enjoy their company.

Scratchman was annoying and insisted on partying when there wasn’t anything to party about. Yet. His enthusiasm rivaled Strawhat’s that much was certain but unlike Strawhat he was always suspicious about hidden snipers and tricks. Definitely smarter than Strawhat, that’s for damn sure.

Hawkins was weird, and a little creepy. He was damn near always in the library of the stone castle the Kid Pirates called a base. Always shuffling and reshuffling his cards or reading a book by candlelight. Kid himself never really enjoyed books, didn’t see the appeal, but when it came down to it, he’d much rather be around Hawkins’ quiet self than Scratchman’s boisterous personality.

Kid liked the quiet, it allowed him time to think and he was able to produce much better drawings and blueprints that way. Which is why he was sat a little away from Hawkins at the table in the library. The former shuffling those tarot cards he had an abundance of. Neither said anything to each other and the only noise in the library was Kid’s pencil scratching against the paper as he sketched improvements for his metal arm; which was requiring maintenance as of late.

He paused for a moment to stretch, allowing his muscles to relax from being hunched over his blueprint. One of the downsides for having a massive prosthetic arm was the strain on his muscles, hence the improvements he was planning.

While he was resting for the moment, Kid regarded his companion at the end of the table. Kid had a certain taste for people and Hawkins was well within that category. Slim but not unfit, lean but muscled, and the long limbs were something Kid very much appreciated. The mechanic loved himself a pair of sexy legs. He didn’t even mind Hawkins’ mannerisms that much and found the other’s ability to know the likelihood of an outcome interesting. And the tarot deck had a unique design.

He forced his thoughts away from that path, knowing what mood it’d put him in, and instead focused on his arm. The stump ached occasionally, and phantom pain accompanied the nightmares he had of a time he’d much rather forget under the stupor of rum. Red Hair would pay for this, dearly. Kid would rip off the Yonko’s other arm in retribution for the one he lost. He hated the time lost when he was recovering, being delirious with fever and weakened from the battle. That was time that could have been spent propelling himself forward, toward the title of Pirate King.

And yet it was a lesson that Kid needed to learn. He wasn’t ready then for the next level of experience and strength the Yonko presented. He needed to take a step back and reassess the choices laid out in front of him. He knew he needed more power on his side, hence the alliance with the On Air Pirates and the Hawkins Pirates.

Once more the mechanic regarded Hawkins and thought about his skill to know the percentages of a result. Kid didn’t need to know the outcome of their future battle with the Red Hair Pirates. He was certain of his victory. Now that he had his allies, Kid would carve out his place in the world as the King of Pirates. After all, even mountains fall.

So I recently (as in last night) got into restoration videos where people take rusty as hell objects and completely restore them good as new. Its so satisfying and fascinating to me. And honestly I think Kid would do this. As like a hobby when he's bored and not wanting to draw. Like he found an old rusty coffee grinder in the trash and he just takes it and makes it good as new

Ooh that’s super neat and I can totally see him doing that as well! Kid has many hidden talents (besides being loud and violent) that I love to see others explore in ff/art/etc. This definitely goes on the list!

My earliest dream I remember of Kid is that I pissed off him and Crocodildo and they were chasing me through my neighborhood and somehow i ended up in a tree and they were right below me looking for me and I hung upside down and gave Kid a kiss on the nose which stunned him long enough to make an escape

Another dream was that I was in the Kid Pirates and i got knocked off the ship during a storm and lost my memory. Somehow i ended up on the island where Bellamy is and he helped me. Later Kid arrived on the island and was pissed off cuz he thought i was cheating on him with Bellamy but I wasn't cuz I didn't remember who Kid was. Then I woke up

Another one was that my friend, Law, Kid, and I went to this karaoke type place and for some reason Kid and I hated each other and were only there to act as wingmen to my friend and Law respectively.I had a dream that you, Law, Kid, and I went to this club thing that had karaoke. So while we were brooding in the corner next to my friend & Law (who were hitting it off) this guy comes on the stage and says he's gonna spice things up by choosing a couple to sing together (the beginning of High School Musical style) and then a spotlight comes on Kid & I. Reluctantly we go on stage (my friend and Law encouraging us) and we sing. I don't remember what song but at the end we were looking at each other like "Not bad."

It was set in a fantasy au and apparently we had a son. Anyway the bit I remember most about the dream was that Kid and I were fighting (don't know what about) and Kid got sick and tired of me arguing with him so he took a swing at me but missed and hit the wall. He did scratch me though which scared me obviously and set Kid into shock of "Oh my god I almost hit her" that I used to my advantage to run to the door of our bedroom and lock it (from the inside because that's how locks work) in the hopes that it would slow him down; and it did. So I grab our son and run outside to my horse and get on then we ride. I eventually drop off my son at some house telling him that "dad will pick you up later" and then I flee

Another dream I had was very funny and very short. I don't remember all of it but the funny part of it was that Shanks apparently "bought" Kid and I wasn't having any of that. I was like "YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM RED HAIR!" And picked up Kid and ran away with him

And the most recent dream went like this: The beginning of the dream isn't really important but I was about to be killed by this guy and Kid busted through the wall above me (for some reason he had the Mera Mera no mi devil fruit) and blasted the guy and was like "Hey foxy mama. You getting into trouble again?" And i just stood there kinda speechless. Then Killer popped up and said to Kid "Looks like we got enough booze for the party, the anniversary, and your nap" and they started to walk away into the tunnel they made and Kid was like "Later babe" And i finally came to my senses and grabbed this whiskey bottle off this table and screamed "Wait! Kid! Wait!" And threw the bottle towards the entrance of the tunnel and Kid caught it and was like "Thanks, see ya later" And that concludes all my dreams featuring Kid

Holy hell that’s so many awesome dreams!! I really am jealous, for as much as I think and fantasize about One Piece, I hardly ever have dreams about it! None that I remember anyway. The only one I can remember was actually a very sweet and romantic one with Sanji! And don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore Sanji, butttttttt
