I hope you’ve been doing amazing!! (Small update on my genshin exploration: I’m almost done with the desert! I’m just missing the last expansion patch that we got like 2 months ago! I haven’t even started the new event because I want to finish my exploration before Fontaine comes) but how have you been? Have you been saving for any new chars? If so what are your funds? I’d love to know!!

Alright on to the main topic! This is kinda just a small headcanon and also inspired by what you said in a brainrot: but fragile!reader most likely does wake up in the middle of the night at times. (Most likely due to reoccurring nightmares) so usually when you do get startled awake, you usually just walk around the laboratory. And whenever you do, a clone or two will find you and slightly scold you for being out of bed and that your body seriously needs it. But after scolding you they usually just join you on your small walk to hopefully tire you out. (I swear the clones are like small kittens who won’t detach themselves from you bc of how much they love you and just imagining these blue haired scary looking masked grown men following little you is 😭💕💗💖)

However, at times when you’re really shaken up, you’ll just head straight to Dottore’s lab or his bedroom. Although it’s usually the first since Dottore never sleeps, so when he sees you walk into his lab at 3 AM, he knows it’s because you’ve been shaken up badly from one of your nightmares again. So he’ll let you stay as he continues to work. Letting you sit at his desk while he runs an experiment. Or he would offer to you his bedroom, which you usually decline as what you want is to see your husband be safe. (Your nightmares sometimes concern him, so you just want to make sure he’s safe and not in the condition that you saw him in, in your nightmare) but you do eventually fall asleep in his lab, which makes him pick you up and put you in his bedroom. He wishes he could have your nightmares instead. Already being inflicted with a mysterious illness and now having nightmares. He just wants you to be truly happy, and not have to put up a fake act or fake smiles (Dottore most likely Can tell whenever you’re faking your smiles, although he doesn’t want to upset you and call you out on it) so in the meantime he’ll try his somewhat best in making you smile. Sure his attempts may be horrible at first, but it’s the thought that counts! You’ll be sure his kiss his cheeks and lips a few times as an “A for effort”.

What was supposed to be short turned out long I’m so sorry!! 😭 I always get carried away and end up writing more than I mean to. (Also just a little self indulgent but what if fragile!reader had a blanket they’ve had since probably when they were a kid, and they just love it. Like their plushie! But instead, whenever you wake up from your nightmares and go on walks or to Dottore’s lab, you just…bring it with you. It’s what helps you sleep after all! You could literally sleep on the floor so long as you have your blanket (and plushie) with you) I’m only adding this because I’ve had a blanket since I was born and I literally drag it with me in the house. I’m going to the kitchen? It’s coming with me. OKAYOKAY! I’ll stay quiet now!! I hope you enjoy this smooches!! MY LOVELY 🎐 ANON YOUR IDEAS MAKE ME SO SO HAPPY 😭💖

GOSH I AM KISSING YOUR BRAIN THIS IS JUST SO 🥺🥺😍 Whenever you have dreams, it’s a bit of a struggle to go back to sleep. Not only do the nightmares make you too scared to sleep again, but even the happier dreams of the past make you too sad to get sleepy again since you keep thinking of what once was. So instead of twisting and turning alone in the dark you decide to just walk around the lab to try and get your mind off things. But of course the lab always has clones running about no matter what time it is, sometimes you only walk a few feet and already bump into a clone. Every time they just sigh and give you that look again, that lecture that you probably have memorized already, they always try to guide you back to your room (and sometimes it works, and they sit in your room with you and help you fall back to sleep.) But if you pull out the pleading and pouty eyes they’ll be giving in quickly and entertain your request (cue them carrying you back to bed later 🥺) (Also Cattore so real… I find it so funny you could just be walking with a clone or two and they’ll be treating you with so much respect and love, talking very animatedly and then when you come across a regular Fatui assistant they’ll just give them a ‘wtf are u looking at slacker I’ll kill u’ and the assistant is just praying they get transferred to another squad 😭) (Plus they report it every time this stuff happens to Prime and he’s just :( he is at a loss at how he or science can help you, every time he sees those eye bags… he just. Curses internally.)

The first few times you walked right into his lab an at ungodly hour he was just like ??? Internally panicking and worrying something was really wrong with you to seek him out at this hour, and probably barraged you with questions and was even about to run some tests on you until you just interrupt him and spill the whole dilemma you’ve been in. How the nightmares are hurting you and you can’t find it in you to sleep again. Dottore knows very well how one will find it hard to sleep if the mind is troubled so he won’t force you to sleep again, but he’ll encourage you to try at least. Even if he’s in the middle of doing something that requires to stand up, he’ll find something to work on so you can sit down comfortably on his lap. He sometimes wonders about your dreams but you prefer not to speak about them or do so very vaguely so he doesn’t push it. Unfortunately he has yes to develop a dream-preventing injection so the only thing he can do is be ready to receive you when you show up at his door ;( The first time Dottore called you out on a fake smile you were so shocked and then nearly broke down catching him off guard. Though he is a very straight to the point no bs person he’s learned not to do that again. He is not very good with verbal affection so a lot of it just comes from him holding you, and also recounting some infuriating encounters he had with the other Harbingers (you find them hilarious though) and he tolerates it simply because of the kisses and actual smiles he gets <3

And omg… yes reader’s special blanket <3 (The lab would be torn upside down if you ever lost it) I love how cherished your blanket is 💖 I don’t have a specific blanket but I also can’t sleep if I dont have one, and if I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t find my plushies I get mad and search in the dark and sometimes resort to turning on the light 😭

Okay moving on from the dot brainrot- I’m so glad you’re catching up on the desert progress! It really is a lot, but I know you got this!! Hopefully Fontaine is more fun, I love exploring but even the desert had me like 💀 most because of the scenery. If you do play the summer event I hope you enjoy it, it’s definitely my favorite out of the 3 summer events we’ve gotten :3 As for me… I have roughly 70 wishes I think? Close to pity, no guarantee. I was considering trying to get Lyney since I want some Fontaine characters, but I’m not too sure yet so I’m just gonna wait until the release to decide who I want! I might just skip everyone for Arlecchino too haha. Are you saving for anyone 🎐 anon? Dottore maybe? AND DONT WORRY I LOVE YOUR LONG BRAINROTS!!! He's a wonder to be around fr!! 😭❤️ To me he's the sweetest guy in all of H.isui, you could even fall asleep by his side if you're hanging out with him or something, it feels so cozy and peaceful! He's just got that chill, home sweet home aura! 🥺❤️

And I feel like his cheerful demeanor would transmit sooo well to vore as you said, since staying inside his belly would equal the most wholesome, wonderful and warmest hug he could give! I'd love to be surrounded by him that way tbh! 🥺❤️

The combination of protective and playful fits him perfectly imo, omg! And I can see him poke his gut to tease us a bit xD plus after eating us he could start reading a mythology book, or take a nap to relax x3 gosh, this is giving me more ideas for vore stories to write about him!! ❤️ Originally I had slightly more... twisted plans (100% safe as always ofc, dw), but lovely vore fluff is so neat too!! 🥺

Talking about how he feels though, it pains me to see how much he must have suffered ;-; he keeps asking himself if he's unworthy of A.rceus's attention since it favored the MC instead of him, despite everything he's done to even be acknowledged by it ;-;

"I've devoted myself to A.rceus beyond any other! I worshiped it as the creator of our entire world! I bent all of my passion and interest to its study! All the time I've spent poring over the legends... Everything that I've done—!"

And even when he's defeated he goes:

The blood of the ancient S.innoh people flows in my veins, does it not?! What is it, then, that you find so lacking in me?!

Do you mean to tell me that this world doesn't need to be remade?"

Also, him asking us if we have dreams like he does literally makes my heart ache ;-; ;-; (and it reminded me of N. as well ;-;)

In general, I think he perceives himself as a very lonely individual, and it gets worse since nobody even goes to look for him after the final battle (I'd do it myself if the game just let me, aksbdejsbsn) and pretty much everyone simply accepts that he was the villain and moves on ;-;

His loneliness got me thinking nonetheless. Despite him being able to hide it behind his usual happy-go-lucky attitude, some of it could still come through. For example, he could enjoy our company a lot more than it seems, and with vore it'd work the same way since a pred is technically not alone after nomming somebody. So he could also rub his middle and take in all the positive feelings that come with eating a close person in safety x3 ❤️

"In the end, I was alone... But not you."

To be honest, I wish we could say goodbye to him before he leaves, or at least see him tell professor L.aventon what happened, oof ;-; we saw him from a brief moment tho in the second H.isuian Snow episode! That gives me a lil bit of hope xDD

In any case, G.amefreak please bring him baaaaaack!!! (Alive, possibly ;-;) We miss him!!! 😭😭

Finally!!! Finally I got to read Chapter 7!!

Oh the beginning was so painful because... it was so understandable. He does have a good opportunity in becoming the King of Spade. It is a good "deal" as well as a chance to find his roots, but it means having to leave Neva behind.

And quite honestly Ciel being focused on getting Yuno married is... a very mother -thing to do, as well as being oblivious to some things. Especially since Neva and Yuno are both very private people.

And Neva... she doesn't want to stop him from achieving his dream, even if it's through a bit different route than what they both initially thought. So, she loves him enough to see him go.

While he's also trying to respect her dreams and wishes. He doesn't want to take them away from her.

I think they're very human in this chapter. They're very understandable, while also, as they agreed, they're "excellent at communication" XD

But it's so important that they had that talk.

Especially because HE PROPOSED!!!! It was so spontaneous and sweet and genuine!!! He really does love her and she loves him.

She really made that, quite literal, leap of fate for him XD

Lauraaaa!!! I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to answer this, things have just been crazy IRL so I’m only now able to answer 😭!

It really was painful, even as I was writing it I was like “Gosh I can just imagine the conflicting emotions Yuno’s feeling rn 😭!” because it’s a really good opportunity for him to learn things, but it also means he has to give up something too *cough* Neva *cough* 💔!

Yeah Ciel is very much…scatter brained in this 😅. She’s juggling so much with the Nobles pressuring her into choosing an heir and trying to keep them from being able to find any “flaws” with Yuno (which is partially why she is trying to find him a wife since, it’ll not only secure the Grinberryall line to the throne, but it’ll also keep the Nobles mouths shut for a little bit). And unfortunately due to being distracted by all of that she kind of missed the most obvious thing which is YuNeva being together already 😔😅.

So true 😭, Neva loving Yuno so much that she’s willing to let him go was just ahwkwjhe aaaahhh it broke my heart to write 🤧! Because they both thought they knew where they were going, but life threw them a curveball and they both had hard decisions to make 😔.

Wgjwjwh aaahhh thank you, I’m so glad you felt they were very human in this chapter that’s exactly what I was going for do I’m very happy it translated into this chapter 😁! They are very “excellent” at communication 😆, I see YuNeva as being that couple who know each other so well and yet they still have trouble communicating at times 😂!

YESSS HE PROPOSED 🥳🥳!!! I don’t know why I always imagined it being spontaneous with YuNeva (other then they always plan things and are very serious and meticulous IMO 🤔). But this is how I always imagined it going and it came out better than I expected and I’m so glad you loved it 🥺💕!

Neva: They always said if you really love someone you should take a leap of faith for them.

Is this Imanga once again allowing me to jump on my soapbox for things no one else cares about!!!!!!!!! 😍😍

Starting from Top-Top-TOP FAVE to Also Top Fave!!:

1. Cats

Did I watch the recent movie? Nooooo. I'm way too scared to see if they ruined my #1 beloved musical as much as others say they did. I have loved the stage musical since I was a little girl because of the white cat, Victoria. Since I danced ballet, her beginning solo made me 🤩. People never understand why I love Cats. I just love the dancing!!! so much dancing!!!...and the fun songs...and the magic....I don't actually care about plot that much. BUT Cats does have a plot!!!!!!! Mr. Mistoffelees saves Old Deuteronomy and Grizabella gets reborn in the Heaviside Layer!!!! My childhood dream was to be cast in Cats as any one of them. Race doesn't matter because everyone's in makeup and wigs anyway 🥺 I'll be on Broadway in another life I guess...

2. West Side Story

The dancing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the music, of course, is just...the best. I had the opportunities to play the soundtrack on the clarinet in my high school orchestra AND dance a ballet piece in my last high school production, so the music is injected in my veins, I swear. Also, who doesn't love watching "gangs" of men dance with so much grace. I just adore this musical 💕💕 Every moment is so vivid and heartfelt. My third NaruHina fanfic was based on this musical.

3. Grease

John Travolta. omg. He's such a ham. As a kid, I did not at all register how absolutely uncool the T-Birds are...like the Pink Ladies are way too good for them. What I love about Grease is that there is so much more to appreciate about it when you're older and can understand what all the characters are talking about lolll. But also the songs are so much fun, the coming-of-age angst is real, and somehow, after alllll of the hijinks, the characters actually mature??!! This musical has arguably some of the best character development ever. Also the 50s poodle skirts context is just so cute.

4. Les Choristes

Coming in, completely unexpected with NO dancing whatsoever, is Les Choristes. I first watched this with my French Class, no subtitles, we had to try to comprehend it by ourselves. My teacher stopped the film and replayed scenes twice while we filled out worksheets about what was going on. I don't know what it was about this scene... "Action; réaction" where Rachin grabs his own talking hand, we just thought it was hilarious. We'd burst out laughing each time. Besides that, this film is beautiful. It's like a French Kinpachi-sensei with singing. We thought that Pépinot was just the most adorable little boy ever. The song "Cerf-volant, volant au vent, ne t'arrête pas..." that whole song was my internal soundtrack for those blessed weeks. And then when the movie was over, like absolute fangirls, we squealed over grown Jean-Baptiste Maunier, the actor for bad boy singing prodigy Pierre Morhange. Gosh. Good times. ONE DAY, FRANCE, ONE DAY.

5. The Sound of Music

Classic. As a small kid, I used to sing the songs in the shower! The songs are extremely kid-friendly despite the heavy stuff going on in the movie. In high school, the first dance I ever choreographed for a show was for the Ballet 1 girls to "My Favorite Things," and it turned out really, really cute. My older sister likes to tweak the lyrics for "The Lonely Goatherd" to be about me and my husband, and she actually sang it at our wedding😂. Basically, this musical is precious, and Julie Andrews is such a show-stealing star!!!

After that, honorable mentions in no particular order are My Fair Lady (plot & romance are good, Audrey Hepburn is 💗), Moulin Rouge! (soundtrack is amazing...Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor omgg, omggggg 😩), On the Town (this soundtrack IS my heartbeat, also GENE KELLY and FRANK SINATRA), The Phantom of the Opera (nothing beats watching this live), Fiddler on the Roof (has grown on me tremendously over the years), Rent (also has grown on me over time), A Chorus Line (I, uh, live vicariously through the auditionees' stress), Singin' In the Rain (classic, also, GENE KELLY), and Flower Drum Song (ok, it's like the first majority-Asian Am cast ever so I excuse the dated racism, the songs are fun).

My tastes in musicals run old thanks to my mother. I was watching at a young age films that made no coherent sense to me, but I didn't care. I just loved the music and dancing. I've ended up dancing to the majority of the soundtracks on this post for various performances, and noowwww, I feel like watching Cats. And Les Choristes. And On the Town. but it's really late.

and to answer your questions, school has been tiring but i’m enjoying my classes nonetheless ! i think senior yr is the high school experience i’ve been looking and yearning for :,) i’m in love w my schedule

i’m currently on thanksgiving break and i just plan to rest and study for my permit haha,, i did go on a date yesterday tho ! it was with this boy who i’ve been talking to since september and he’s so sweet :(

he’s not what i usually go for BUT THATS SUCH A GOOD THING LMFAO my last relationship in soph yr rlly traumatized me bc of how abusive my ex was to me so i decided to be completely single and focus on myself for 1.5 years so this new boy is my first crush since then … which is kind of scary to me bc i’m not used to someone being this genuine w me and kind to me, like what feels completely normal out of a good relationship seems unattainable for me but we’ve both been patient w each other and it’s going very well and stable !

i just…. it boggles me how i got his attention bc he’s honestly very popular bc he’s lowk the class clown but also bc he’s going to be valedictorian of our class which… IS SO ATTRACTIVE LMFAO intelligence is such a turn on !! i also find him so admirable bc of his drive,, and despite him being so busy with personal and school life, he still puts the effort into spending time with me and walking me to class everyday

god this is just turning into me gushing over him so i’ll try to end this quickly haha but yesterday was such a dream, such a gentleman and very sweet to me :( hoping we stay strong :,)
