Hawkheart

His description has changed now to reflect both of his designs. Hawkheart is a mottled dark gray tom with light brown flecks all over his body, and yellow eyes. Eventually, his whiskers get droopy and gray.

Hawkheart was born to a big family! His mother and father were Flaxwing and Gorsefoot. They had 6 children in total! But... If you cannot tell be the names I'm about to give, this family was plagued with hardship.

Robinpaw, Thrushkit, Larksplash, and Hawkheart were the first litter. The second was Magpiepaw and Starlingkit. All bird children, but sadly, only 2 managed to make it to adulthood. Robinpaw, a tortoiseshell molly, was killed by an infected snake bite, Thrushkit, a mottled brown tom, was too weak and passed after a few hours. Magpiepaw, a black and white molly, was killed by Greencough, just hours after Flaxwing died. Starlingkit, a gray tom, was stillborn. Their adoptive son is Redclaw, noted to look oddly like them.

Hawkheart was a Moor Runner at first, the same as his sister, and his father. Flaxwing was TECHNICALLY a Moor Runner, but she became a permanent Queen. Despite her many children lost, she helped other Queens with theirs. All the death had a very adverse effect on her son, however....

Hawkpaw, being trained by Heatherstar's brother Rubbletail, was having dark thoughts. When he slept, he was being greeted by a shadowy cat named... Sparrowfeather. Another bird of a feather. Flaxwing was a tough lady, helpful and kind, but she encouraged his natural strength and was always proud of his battle training. Hawkheart had a special bond with his mom and did not want to disappoint her. Hawkpaw would take the Dark Forest training and companionship.

He did not enjoy the Dark Forest, though he did appreciate her company, as Larkpaw had distanced herself from him in her own grief. He didn't blame his sister, but he didn't really have friends, and was lonely. He managed to earn his warrior name early however, by rescuing a younger apprentice (Kestraldawn, replacement/mother of Appledawn and Oatwhisker) from a fox. He earned the Heart suffix as a remembrance for his lost siblings.

When Greencough swept through Windclan, killing his little sister and his beloved mother, he saw Sparrowfeather for what she was. All she was focused on was Hawkheart getting her some catmint, and other Dark Forest cats continued to walk in his dreams, speaking about death, and crimes, and what he could do to others...

He went to Chiveclaw a few moons later, telling him that he wanted to have a connection with Starclan, that he wanted to be useful in a different way. Chiveclaw was more than happy, as he had always wanted an apprentice! He taught Hawkheart plenty, making sure to teach him about connecting with Starclan and its residents, praying to different Patrons and how to seek out specific cats.

As his Starclan connection grew, Sparrowfeather and her buddies would visit less and less. He would sometimes see her in the shadows, hissing at him, calling him a traitor, but when he touched his nose to the Moonstone and saw his family members, and newly made Starclan friends, he tuned her out.

Hawkheart would later be known as the strongest Medicine Cat in the Clans, and would unfortunately be the end of Moonflower. Her fate had been to die in battle, Goosefeather orchestrating it to ensure fate would continue on. When Hawkheart saw her destroying herbs, Sparrowfeather watching in the shadows and laughing at him, he snapped.

Hawkheart became a father figure to his apprentice Barkface, enough to call him his own real son, and go down swinging against multiple Shadowclan warriors, eventually dying from sheer blood loss.

He was overjoyed to be brought to Starclan by his old mentors, where he would later give advice to Barkface that a gifted Medicine Cat was about to be born, and to keep a close eye out.

Hawkheart fought in The Great Battle, fighting with Sparrowfeather alongside Flaxwing and keeping her out of the Windclan Medicine Cat den.
