Different day.

Different problem.

Same God. #godsfaithfulness

Life changes. God doesn't. Trust Him. #godisfaithful

Everything changes except God.

God will always be God. #trustgod

Every day is different, but God is always the same. #godcanbetrusted

The only thing in life that's constant is change and God. #relyongod

All but God is changing day-by-day. #unchanginggod

God never changes.

What God was, God is.

What God is, and was, God will be. #godneverchanges

Things change and people fade, but God is always constant. #trustingod

Times change.

People change.

Circumstances change.

But Jesus does not change.

He is our source of stability in an ever-changing culture and world. #trustinggod

Things change,

people change,

places change,

friends change,

careers change,

economics change...

but God never changes. #timechangeseverything

Culture changes,

God does not. #everythingchanges

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.- Heb13:8 #godneverfails

The world has changed and it's going to keep changing, but God never changes; so we are safe when we cling to Him. #godwillneverleaveyou

We can put no real confidence in anything else, for nothing and no one besides God is completely trustworthy and reliable.

The greatest security against disorientation and disruptions of change is reliance on the unchanging God. #dependongod

What does James 4:7 mean? [⇑ See verse text ⇑]

In the previous verses, James spelled out how his Christians readers had been living lives of worldly self-reliance, as many of us do at times. They had committed themselves to getting what they wanted at all costs, even to the point of fighting with other believers. They believed God, but they refused to trust Him to provide good for them and to accept that He was still providing good when He withheld what they wanted most.

God sees this as adultery, cheating on Him with the world. He takes it personally. He opposes us in our pride when we live that way, but He doesn't reject us. In the previous verse, James wrote that God gives more grace. He gives grace to the humble.

How should we respond when we realize we've been on the world's path again? This verse reveals the beginning of James's answer: submit to God again. Give up getting what you want, and willingly receive all the good He gives. We must surrender our battles to achieve our own desires, and turn to serve others instead.

Finally, we must resist the devil. In chapter 3, James revealed that this worldly wisdom we've been following is, in part, from the devil, God's enemy. Satan has been instrumental in engineering this system of self-service from the very beginning of human history. James's promise is clear: If we quit the path of the world and resist the devil, he will run away from us.

We must resist, though. Resistance requires us to actively pull away. It demands we continually counter his lies by telling ourselves the truth about our God's goodness, love, and power. The devil won't remain in the presence of our submission to the truth of God's Word.

Have you ever wanted to have God’s wisdom in certain situations and circumstances? Are you trying to understand God’s way of speaking to you on a daily basis?

Guess what? God continues to speak His Word through the wisdom given to man by His divine power. There is nothing going in your life that God has not spoken provided an answer—if you listen.

Sometimes it just takes us standing still and paying attention to what is really going on in our lives. Sometimes you can just sit in the park or take a walk, and let God minister through the sounds and happenings around you—just listen.

Did God just use your spouse or child to speak to your heart? What about your co-worker or the grocery store clerk?

God will even use nature, media, or certain situations to speak to your life.

Like Jesus demonstrated throughout the New Testament, God will use earthly situations to bring your attention to the message that will speak to the spirit in you.

Simply ask: God, what is you are telling me? Sometimes the answer will be clear, and then sometimes you will need to search the scriptures and mediate (prayer).

This book is some examples of everyday situations that God has used in my life to speak to my heart.

Let Him speak to yours.

If we could just trust in God and let Him lead us, guide us, and protect us, we would be better off. Look Heavenward in FAITH!

We are not to be discourage because of apparent failure, nor should we be disheartened by delay. we should work cheerfully, hopefully, gratefully, believing that the earth holds in her bosom rich treasures for the faithful worker to garner, stores richer than gold or silver. The mountains and hills are changing: the earth is waxing old like a garment: but the blessing of God, which spreads for His people a table in the wilderness, will never cease.
