The show was pretty chaotic since all of the 19 members were at one place. Not everyone had the same chance to speak, show on the camera. Specially Kun as Yena noticed. So throughout the episode she tried to mention her precious member.

"Do you know Kun oppa speaks Korean so well. It's amazing."

"Black On Black is my favorite track because Kun oppa is in it."

Fans couldn't help but notice his little smiles whenever she talked about him.

She went in to the room and hugged someone. Then Kun with a cap on his head appeared with a big smile on his face.

"Hello everyone."

He waved to the camera.

"Wayv members are here practicing hard. Their leader looking handsome as always."

"Eyy!"

Some members cheered behind the camera.

"All of them are working very hard. Please support them. Specially my favorite Kun oppa."

"Don't act surprised."

After his comment she got up and started to annoy him by acting cute nonstop.

Even after a few other scenes, they could be seen at the back. Kun fighting to get away from her and Yena still not letting him go.

Everyone was saying goodbye to the audience at the end of the concert. Yena was trying to go to her members. She was distracted by Red Velvet's members and waved at them but someone in the crowd throw a soft plushie to her. Since it was out of nowhere and hit her head she got surprised and got startled. Doyoung saw it and went to her as soon as he can. It wasn't clear what they were saying but Doyoung started to kiss her head and brushed her hair. Even though she got some hate after that moment fans still love how Doyoung was alerted even by something like that.

She had high ponytails that day and was standing in front of Doyoung. He kept playing with her hair the whole time. She wasn't even fazed at all. It was a simple but sweet moment that made fans go crazy.

Jaehyun read the comment out loud. Even before she could say something Doyoung sighed loudly.

Artemis and Apollo

I was working on a post about my thoughts on the relationships between Jimin, Jungkook and Tae before the Tailor of Chaos made his appearance and wrecked my brain. I had a lot written and was trying to edit it down so it wouldn’t be a several-chapter-long study about each of those three’s personalities and why I think they do what they do. I’ll get back to it later maybe.

So I am putting that aside in order to delve into these concepts of Jimin’s. I have to admit, it is intimidating how he comes up with these ideas. I have a lot of thoughts about all this and I am trying to put some order to it but the key word in all of it truly is chaos. The more I see, the more I am in awe and the more confused I am trying to reconcile all the various versions of Jimin.

I am thinking about all the years we had cutie sexy lovely Jimin and Mochi and Chimmie. I am wondering in his WeLive last week when he mentioned that he did some self-reflecting on why he cut his hair short in April (if that translation is indeed accurate and that IS what he meant) if he cut his hair because it was a way to hang on to “youth” one last time?

And then he drops these heavy ideas on us about id and ego... the inner tug of war between primitive impulses and morality and the rational and controlling mediator that supposedly prevents either from overpowering the other. A inner turmoil of push and pull...

His choice of white: purity, morality .... and black: pleasure, sensuality

And the images of the cracked statues put back together and sealed with gold. Imperfections that have now turned into something beautiful and precious holding it all together.

Posing with mannequins... living breathing Jimin and some plastic representation... the comparison between real Jimin and idol Jimin?

I mentioned in a post or two ago that I wondered if the Tailor of Chaos concept is what summoned the Black Swan stage outfits with the lack of shirts and the body chains and yes, it was all being created in about the same timeframe. These photos were planned at the end of last year. The teaser video opens with Jimin wearing the same LV hoodie he was wearing for this VLive back on October 20, 2021. ABOUT A YEAR AGO!

The temporary tattoos: the words tailor of chaos and Artemis and when I flipped the image I see the word Filter. We are seeing Jimin revisiting Filter. Who is Artemis? In Greek mythology, Artemis is goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, nature, vegetation, childbirth, care of children, and chastity. Artemis is also associated with the moon. In the myth of Actaeon, when this young hunter sees her bathing naked, he is transformed into a deer by the angered goddess, and is then devoured by his own hunting dogs who do not recognize their own master. THAT is truly conceptual...and is then devoured by his own dogs that don’t recognize their own master.... all kinds of imagery there that can be compared to life as an idol and especially as a member of BTS. Their own industry (dogs) devour them because they don’t recognize them as the one (master) who is bringing them more success than ever...

Artemis has a twin brother named Apollo. Apollo is the god of music and dance, truth and prophecy, healing and diseases, and is associated with the Sun and light, poetry, and more!!!!!!!

Other aspects of Artemis: In spite of her status as a virgin who avoided potential lovers, there are multiple references to Artemis' beauty and eroticism.

Jimin says “the original” Jimin... Is he speaking about the evolution of his idol persona? or the real Jimin? because idol Jimin began as manly man Jimin and then idol Jimin became softer and softer and then androgyny (Artemis is female) really entered the chat at some point and has been intermingling with cute bread cheeks Jimin, roundy boba head Jimin, chapter 2 Jimin, etc. Pick your damn Filter.

Has Jimin been toying with this Artemis concept for a long time now? Maybe we will find out when we see more about his photo folio.

I am more or less rambling and I really am not well versed on Greek mythology except for what I have researched to talk about this. But I do understand the concepts of psychology that he’s tossing around in these images and I do love how he exposes some of his own personal psyche in his presentation of himself. I flipped these photos around that he was looking at on the table:

Jungkook remarked that he thought out of all the members’ photo folio concepts, his vampire concept was really way out there, but my baby, Jimin’s concept is so out there, it will soar over the intelligence and maturity level of so many and just be pretty pictures to them. Jimin is CHALLENGING OUR INTELLECT with these images and that is a very very unique and sexy concept coming from him.

It was a good day. Jisung had been able to sleep later than usual, Felix had bought cheesecake the night before so his breakfast was his favourite dessert, he'd hung out with Hyunjin all day in the practice room so his anxiety had been very low and now he was talking with stay.

Overall, a good day.

That was until he started noticing some comments, in between the tons of 'i love you', 'marry me Jisung-ah' and too many questions for him to read, there were less pleasant comments, very much less pleasant. There always was, it was part of the job there would always be people that wasted their time on their vlives but these ones caught his eye.

'why are your cheeks so big? You look fat.'

'Lose weight Han-ah or we're going to call you a pig too like Changbin-ah.'

'How come you're going to the gym but your face is still puffy.'

'Your cheeks make you look fat. Lose weight.' he said the last one out loud without meaning to. He knew his eyes were shining with hurt and insecurity but he tried to cover it quickly by laughing softly. "But I wouldn't be quokka if I lost my cheeks." He exaggerated his pout and pressed his fingers against both his cheeks. He tried to laugh again to lighten up the mood but it sounded extremely fake even to his own ears.

The comments kept coming, and Jisung couldn't help but read them all. His mood worsening with every word he read, tears gently filling up his eyes with every insult, his smile fading slowly but surely. He could spot some fans calling out the people who were commenting mean things to him which made him smile a bit.

He forced himself to keep entertaining the fans that didn't comment on his looks until the manager behind the camera told him it was fine if he ended the live and God was he relieved. He said goodbye and stopped the live sending kisses to his precious stay before giving the phone back to the staff to whom he bowed goodbye when she left the room.

He went back home after trying to gather himself in the now empty room, his plan was to jump in his bed and hope to disappear. He didn't want to be perceived anymore, he didn't want to see or interact with people anymore. He stopped by the bathroom to wash off the makeup the noona had put on him before the live.

He looked up at his reflection in the mirror and couldn't help his eyes from drifting towards his cheeks. Were they really that big? The members told him they looked cute. Would they lie to him? Should he diet to make them go away? Would they even go away?

He washed his face, suddenly hating the feeling of the soft skin on either side of his mouth and nose. The thoughts didn't stop replaying in his head like a broken record as he entered his bedroom, but the sight of someone sitting on his bed made his mind go blank.

His eyes met Hyunjin's making his heart skip a beat like it always did when he was in close proximity of the older. "Hey." He said softly as he sat down on his bed beside the long haired man. "Everything okay?" He asked, concerned. Hyunjin rarely went to his room when he wasn't in it, the last time it happened was because he was having a bad day so Jisung worried.

"I wanted to check on you." Hyunjin breathed out. The look on his face was fond, careful, a hint of fear behind his eyes but overall he looked beautiful like he always did in Jisung's eyes. The younger cocked his head to the side, frowning slightly. They had seen each other right before the live, why would he check on him. "I watched the live, there was lots of bad comments this time." He said softly, answering Jisung's silent question.

"Oh, it's fine I don't care about that." He lied, shrugging his shoulders and looking away from the older. If he looked at him, Jisung was sure he'd crumble, he was never good at hiding his true feelings when in Hyunjin's presence. It was a miracle that he managed to hide his feelings for the older for so long.

A gentle hand was placed on his cheek, unconsciously Jisung flinched but quickly pulled himself back together. Hyunjin dropped his hand to hold Jisung's curled up on his lap instead, the rapper's heart beat fast in his chest. Jisung looked up and let tears fall from his eyes when their eyes met again.

"I know you take comments like that to heart and it's okay to feel bad about them. I know we always say that we shouldn't bother with them but it's hard to just look past. If you want to talk about it I'd be glad to let you know how much I love your cheeks." Hyunjin smiled softly and placed the softest of kisses on his cheeks.

Jisung gasped softly, he gripped the older's hand harder before tackling him to the bed. He buried his face in the crook of Hyunjin's neck, he felt the other's long arms wrapping themselves around him to pull him closer.

He sighed, content, comments completely forgotten because if Hyunjin said he liked the way Jisung looked then it was all that mattered.

The next few days were filled with Jisung subconsciously poking his cheeks. Some of his worries went away with Hyunjin's help but he still couldn't chase the hurting words away from his mind.

Everytime he was caught doing so by one of the members, they would tease him 'you're fishing for compliments on your cheeks sungie' they would say. But Hyunjin was different. He always had been in Jisung's eyes.

Hyunjin kissed his cheeks softly every time, the first time caught Jisung off guard, he really hadn't expected Hyunjin to keep going after the first night but he did. And it did nothing to help Jisung's fast beating heart.

After a week of pure torture, meaning trying to stop himself from jumping at Hyunjin and kiss him breathless every time he came close, Jisung was at breaking point. They were watching a movie in his room, sitting on his bed, silent, comfortable.

Suddenly Hyunjin did it again, soft lips on his cheek making his stomach flip and heart skip a beat, his face was now flushed. He turned to the older thinking really hard, why was he still doing it so long after he had gotten over the comments? Why weren't they talking about it?Why didn't Jisung want it to end?

His face must've shown how much he was thinking because Hyunjin's face was flushed, he looked embarrassed and ready to defend himself, however Jisung didn't want to hear any of it, now he had a goal in mind. He pressed his lips to the older's firmly and waited for him to finish gasping in shock so he could kiss him back.

And when he did Jisung felt like he'd just been transported to heaven, everything around them faded leaving just the two of them, lips dancing together, hands gripping the other not wanting to let go because the rush of electricity that ran through his body at that moment was something he wanted to experience forever. Jisung wished air wasn't a thing or else he would've spent hours kissing Hyunjin.

When they finally pulled away Jisung took a moment to appreciate Hyunjin's state, hair now a mess, face flushed, lips shiny and eyes a little hazy. Jisung smiled at him before cuddling up against the older man's chest. Hyunjin's arms easily sneaked their way around his middle to keep him close. They stayed like that, watching the movie for a while longer before Hyunjin broke the silence.

"That means you like me too, right?" He said in a whisper. Jisung bit his lower lip to stop himself from squealing at hearing that Hyunjin has liked him for a while as well. He took a deep breath.

"Yeah."

there's something so gripping about the honest way seokmin is just there trying to comfort jihoon. there's something so gripping about the way seokmin sang the circles melody to jihoon (lullaby.... seokmin singing for jihoon. seokmin singing for jihoon.) there's something so gripping about how jihoon just leant into seokmin's touch (his chest). there's something so gripping about fond seokmin was just pressing a kiss on jihoon's hair (and cheek)—how tender and gentle and soft it was— i myself am going to tear my own hair out. save me.

even just seokhoon aside the way seokmin's always been a comfort/safe space for any of the members is something so touching to me and i'm so happy that he's able to provide that comfort (if anything, not just to the members but to carats too) and i genuinely hope he knows how much good he's bringing to the world.... god. oh god.

(seokmin kissing away the tear tracks on jihoon's face. brainrot: seokmin's shirt drenched with jihoon's tears and snot. jihoon's face drenched with his tears and snot. seokmin kisses him anyways. seokmin overwhelmed with such intense desire to make jihoon happy. seokmin knowing he'd do anything to make sure jihoon never has to feel like he has to bottle up his emotions. seokmin knowing he'd do everything in the universe to comfort jihoon the best he can. it's okay, he'll say; because it's okay, because it'll be okay, because he'll do his best to make it okay.)

& this really isnt the first time seokmin has comforted jihoon while he's crying:

i feel so much because of how genuine it is when seokmin had words only for jihoon to hear (im sure if they werent mic'ed up we wouldnt be able to hear him comforting wz) and there's something so precious about being so exclusively someone's... be it in words or actions (@ woozi is mine weverse post) and there's something about how those words are meant for jihoon (albeit indirectly: carats) about how seokmin so much wants to take care of his hyung in that moment.

and i really love seokhoon so much because of this softness that's so exclusive to them—from jihoon pecking/nuzzling (for lack of better word) the back of seokmin's neck during inkigayo, the many moments where jihoon has rested his head on seokmin's shoulder, the many moments where their heads have been so closely pushed together (comforting), the many many moments where jihoon's been piggybacked by seokmin, the many times seokmin lets jihoon use him as a personal pillow, a personal rocker all the time (i wanna rock with you). seokhoon you give the world such tenderness... and i permanently thank them for it. god. god. GOD. and they have fun in their own way and they laugh and jihoon will have this smile of such fondness and baseball/catchball and "my eternal catchball partner" and hugs and reciprocated hugs and carrying. the CARRYING (so many instances of this) the whispering they always do (a seoksoonhoon trait if you must know!)

it's not clover if i don't include seoksoonhoon so:

(seoksoon too—seokmin is a source of comfort for both of them isn't he? so many times even during vlives he rests his head on seokmin's shoulder. they have so much fun together, they cuddle with each other, they just love each other so much in their own little fun way and give each other leeway where they need it. god.)

seoksoonhoon has 1 appeal factor which is their dynamic seperately and those are my only alleys for justifying this ship and just how good they could be together

soonhoon = admiration and mutual respect. quality time. love that's present without being palpable, through texts (jagiya) and smiles and time always spent together. having to read between the lines to see soonyoungandjihoon written there is always something so wonderful to experience... two people attached at the hip who flow together so easily who merge well etc. their synchronicity insanely unmatched.

seoksoon = the stars and the moon. the sun and the clouds. they paint a picture for others to see what honeymoon is like, what having fun within the capacities of love is. i really think they just care so deeply about making life as enjoyable for each other: two people who want to love each other in secret and shout it to the world in the most playful of ways and if its not fun they're not gonna do it. As soon as Renjun is in the vicinity of the SM building, he can hear Chenle laughing.

‘Don’t make fun of me,’ Renjun grumbles, ‘because then you’re laughing at my precious daughter’s artistry.’

It had been a normal morning in the Huang household. Teng-fei and Bojing had been whisked off to school by you, while your three year old daughter went through her morning routine with Renjun.

Most of the time, you style Jinghua’s very small amount of hair, but this morning you clearly didn’t have a whole load of time, prompting Renjun to decide to help you out by doing it for you.

‘How do you want your hair my gorgeous girl?’ Renjun asks, gently brushing through Jinghua’s hair.

‘Can I have plaits?’ She’s so sweet and polite it makes Renjun’s heart melt.

‘One or two?’

‘Two please,’ Renjun notices her cute toothy grin in the mirror.

Renjun quickly braided clumsy plaits, tying them up once satisfied.

‘Daddy,’ Jinghua pipes up just as Renjun is tying the last bobble.

‘Yeah?’

‘Can you put butterfly clips in?’ She asks, referring to the multicoloured butterfly hair clips that you always put in to help tame her stray hairs.

‘Of course.’

Renjun grabs a handful, and begins placing them randomly across the two braids, making it look like there were tiny plastic butterflies resting in her hair.

When he’s done, she turns in his lap, a handful of her own sitting in her hand.

‘Can I do your hair too daddy?’

Anything to make his girl happy.

‘Go on then.’

Jinghua spends a few minutes fiddling with the butterfly clips, placing them in Renjun’s hair. Renjun humours her, commenting on how pretty she was making him look.

‘Will you show uncles today?’ She looks at Renjun hopefully.

Oh great, a whole day of teasing.

‘Of course I will-‘

The sound of the front door opening downstairs echoes around the house.

‘Do you have to go now?’ Jinghua pouts/

‘Yeah,’ Renjun sighs, ‘but I’ll be home before you know it.’

After a little kiss and a hug, Renjun heads downstairs.

‘Wow, looking good,’ you giggle as Renjun takes his dance bag off the peg.

‘Don’t laugh,’ Renjun huffs, ‘our beautiful daughter did this.’

‘Maybe she’ll be a hair stylist in the future.’

‘God forbid she’s cutting my hair,’ Renjun chuckles, ‘anyway, I’ll see you later.’

‘I’m sure you’ll have a very interesting day,’ you can’t stop yourself from laughing, ‘love you.’

‘I love you too,’ Renjun gives you a quick kiss before heading out.

‘Damn, Jinghua is bold,’ Chenle is literally crying from laughter, ’did she ask you to keep that in all day?’

‘What do you think,’ Renjun replies flatly, ‘anyway, once you finish laughing at me, we’re meant to be doing a VLive today, after our choreo practice.’

‘Can’t wait,’ Chenle is still howling when he walks down the corridor towards the studio.

‘I think it’s sweet,’ Mark chimes in, ‘but I am still looking forward to that fan reaction later on.’

‘I hate you all.’

As soon as the Vlive began, the comments were flooded with comments about Renjun’s hair accessories.

It was just Chenle and Renjun on the livestream, so the attention was easily on Renjun’s hair.

‘About the hair clips,’ Renjun begins, ‘my daughter insisted that we match today. I did her hair and put her own butterfly clips in, and she wanted to return the favour.’

’She’s so cute though, you can’t say no to her,’ Chenle says, thinking about the power of his niece’s puppy eyes.

’Yeah, she’s only three, so I kind of have to humour her a bit.’

‘Yeah, well, I try my best,’ Renjun laughs sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

‘He’s such a great dad, he’s just being modest,’ Chenle is half being serious half trying to embarrass Renjun.

Renjun’s daughter is clearly very creative

‘Yeah she is,’ Renjun nods, ‘like I said, she’s only little, but she has a big imagination. If she wants to dress up a certain way or have her hair a certain way she has such a clear idea of what it is that she wants.’

‘Artistic,’ Chenle affirms, ‘she’s the sweetest. Of course I’m just a proud Godfather and uncle.’

I like it when he talks about his kids, he clearly loves them a lot

‘I like talking about them too, they’re my greatest pride so I take any opportunity to show off about them,’ Renjun laughs, ‘but I try not to share too much, because they’re only young and deserve as much privacy as possible. NCTzens are really great in that sense. It’s just saesangs that ruin it a bit.’

The rest of the livestream goes off without a hitch, comments still streaming in about how sweet Renjun was as a father etc.

When Renjun and Chenle came back into the practice room after turning off the live, they were greeted with Mark running up to them, shoving his phone in their faces.

‘Renjun-ah, you’re trending!’

And so he was. Hundreds of thousands of tweets about his hair clips and his words about his youngest child.

When Renjun came home, a few clips had actually fallen out of his hair, but most still remained.

Jinghua, clad in pyjamas patterned with rainbows and clouds, came rocketing towards her father, flying into his arms and nearly knocking him over.

‘What are you still doing awake little miss?’

‘I heard the door open.’

‘Jinghua, come on back to bed, daddy will come kiss you goodnight,’ you appear at the top of the stairs. It’s around the time of Jinghua’s bedtime, so Renjun figures you were in the middle of her bedtime story when she made her great escape.

‘Carry me?’ Jinghua turns back to Renjun, making grabby hands at his neck.

‘Ok princess,’ Renjun lifts up his little girl, ‘let’s go to bed.’
