𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐄

01. type of bed: used to a life sleeping on cots and bedrolls, she's not used to anything soft and comfortable. if she's in a hotel or another place with a plush mattress, she'll usually opt to sleep on the couch or on the floor instead.  

02. number of blankets: depends on the temperature. though she usually only has one or two blankets ( as issued by the alliance ), when cold, she prefers to layer them on top of her and make a nest.

03. number of pillows: one. if she doesn't have a pillow, she'll use a coat/parts of her outer layer or her pack. 

04. type of clothing: some variation of her day clothes in case she has to get up and leave quickly in the middle of the night. usually, she'll take off her outer layers ( thrown scattered on the floor around her ) and leave her boots in a place where she can access them quickly. her blaster is always in reach ( either under her pillow or on a nightstand next to her ) and there are often weapons underneath the mattress and/or between the mattress and the wall.

05. does it matter where they sleep?: she can't sleep anywhere she doesn't feel safe. usually, this means she can't sleep unless on her shuttle, on base, or in a safe house with someone she ( somewhat ) trusts on watch.

06. what do they do if they cannot fall asleep?: used to insomnia, when she can't sleep, she spends her time productively and tries to push her body to the point of exhaustion so she can sleep. usually, she'll spend time training and beating the shit out of a punching bag, going over mission details, or cleaning and maintaining her weapons. she'll also find things to keep her occupied, such as taking extra night shifts.

07. frequent dreams, nightmares: nightmares almost every night ( varying levels of severity ). while her nightmares change, they usually have similar features : galen's kidnapping, lyra's murder, being trapped in the cave / bunker, saw abandoning her, and scarif ( specifically surrounding krennic and cassian falling off the data tower ). she often sleeps in short bursts in an attempt to avoid them. ( and, not that she knows this, but she sleeps better when she's in bed with and next to someone she trusts. )  

08. deep slumber or naps: periodic naps. she doesn't usually fall into a deep sleep unless she's worked herself past the point of exhaustion.

09. when do they sleep: anytime she can. with the general chaos of the rebellion, she doesn't follow any specific sleep cycle, often works nights, and is on call basically 24/7. usually, she crashes pretty hard when she returns to base after lengthy missions.  

10. what could wake them up: literally anything. she's someone who sleeps with one eye open and wakes up periodically throughout the night to check her surroundings ( regardless of her location and perceived level of safety ).

“You know, it’s not nice to stare.” In times of anxiety, why not crack a joke to try and lighten the load? Robin was doing her best not to freak out, but it was hard not to, when someone had just witnessed her from change from wolf to human in the span of 5 seconds.

She was a new hero in town, of sorts. A vigilante who hunted down criminals like her namesake, Ookami. 

The mask covering her eyes and forehead glimmered with faint sunlight, blues glowering beneath to make for a display of a beast in human clothing. Despite the feral look, she smiles, sharp teeth glinting as she finishes tying up the mugger’s hands with a discarded wire.

“Honestly, miss hero, should this surprise you? I’m sure you’ve seen worse.”

okay. so, this wasn’t something gwen ever thought she’d ever thought would happen. ( you shouldn’t be surprised anymore, gwendy. )

gwen wasn’t really the kind of person who liked to get dragged into the mystical arts of the super-heroes around new york. her mother had questioned her going out at night because of what went on, but — she’d absolutely ignored that unknowingly, but hell – this was just different. she was looking at… another version of herself? there were so many questions that the young girl wanted to ask, but – something wasn’t allowing her to. the girl stood rather awkwardly in her room, before raising her hands “ uh… sorry, do you want a drink or something? “ god, gwen. that was a stupid question “ i’m sorry! i didn’t think this would be something to happen to me. cool to know the multiverse is real, though.” 

the awkwardness didn’t exactly help how she was feeling. how was she going to explain to her mother, who was in the room next to them, that it was just a friend she’d somehow managed to sneak in and certainly wasn’t another her ! “ i’m sorry. i’ve just got a lot of questions i want to ask, and i don’t know how to do it.”
