Pro-zionists still screaming online that they’re not settler colonialists, and that Palestine actually belonged to their grandparents 497 million years ago and all this crazy garbage makes me feel a sense of...pity and disgust.
How brainwashed, unspeakably stupid and unself-aware must you be to walk into a debate thinking, “WeLl UmM GOD tOld Me I’m HiS ChoSeN persON And So I’m EntITLed to This Land. aNd GrAndpA and GRandMa sUfFerEd in The HOlOcAUst sO Now NO oNe gEts to TelL me WhAt To Do” is a valid argument in any way

How people can read these statements and still think that Israel are victims and the "good guys" in this scenario is truly mind blowing. When people show you who they are, believe them.

No matter what, it's never okay to come up with falsehoods about any person just because you do not like the content they make, no matter the quality of that content. Either stick exclusively to criticizing the content they make, or if they have genuinely done terrible things say that because it's the right thing to do, not because you want to ruin their career or whatever

I dont know if it's fandom culture or something, but the fact that there'll be an objectively shitty character (maybe he's sexist, racist, a war criminal, homophobic, has sexually assaulted someone, etc.,), and there'll always be fans who adore that character is so weird to me... why. It's like they see him hit a woman or something and are like 😍 and then decide to ship him with the person they're abusing?? Idk, I'm like. How do you spend your time like this

Israel, the world’s most innocent country, fell victim to a horrific attack from Iran with zero reported casualties on the same day Israel killed dozens of civilians in Gaza.
Israel had been minding its own business, quietly bombing hospitals, schools, universities, mosques, and an embassy, when the Iranian regime launched their outrageous attack for no apparent reason. Thankfully, the US and UK scrambled jets to defend Israeli airspace because it’s wrong to bomb countries in the Middle East, unless your name is Israel, in which case you can do all the bombing you want.
Every British and American ship in the region is now in grave danger and the risk of terror attacks on our soil has surely increased, but you will be relieved to know our countries have not benefitted in any way from our intervention. Personally, I can’t think of a better way for Israel to spend our tax money.
Our leaders have condemned Iran in the strongest possible terms, which is confusing because I thought we were supposed to remain ambiguous and say we’re investigating the matter when such an attack occurs. Perhaps this is one of those rules that only applies to Israel though.
When informed of the attack, a calm and rational Suella Braverman screamed: “WAR! I WANT WAR!” and when she’d stopped hyperventilating, she added: “This must be the end of western backsliding on Israel,” because she thinks we have not been sufficiently supportive of their genocide. Anyone who is not on the same side of the argument as Suella Braverman must ask serious questions about themselves.
Iran’s unprovoked attack involved giving Israel adequate warning and launching 30-year-old missiles, 99% of which were intercepted, and then saying the matter is closed unless Israel escalates further. The fact Iran would consider retaliating to further escalation from Israel shows just extreme these lunatics are.
Among Iran’s targets was the Israeli air base from which the missiles that struck its embassy were launched, killing 13 on April 1. As of yet, we have no indication as to why Iran carried out the attack, but we’re going to tell you it’s because they want to start World War III. Psychos.
Conspiracy theorists have suggested it’s actually Benjamin Netanyahu who wants escalation, but it’s unclear why the man who faces political oblivion, and possibly jail, would be incentivised to draw his allies into the fight and cause everyone to forget his many war crimes.
Israel, the country that definitely does not want war, has vowed an “unprecedented” response against Iran which will probably kill many more than zero people. If Iran expresses disapproval at Israel’s next mass murder, it’s because they’re trying to destabilise the region. At this point, we’ll have no choice but to help Israel do to Iran what we’ve spent six months helping them do to Gaza - launch precision strikes that destroy 70% of the buildings in the country and leave survivors living in tents.
Worryingly, we’ve just discovered at the most convenient moment that Iran has enough uranium to build 12 nuclear bombs. If it were true that Iran had so much weapon-grade uranium, it would be incredibly stupid to attack them, but we’re going to insist we must attack them because we’re weapon-grade idiots - and we think you are too.
Please just switch your brain off and accept what you’re being told, you simpletons! What matters is rich people can afford nuclear bunkers if this all goes horribly wrong. In the meantime, you can look forward to lots of exciting stories in the media about bringing back conscription and describing how you are likely to die in humanity's final war. Are you looking forward to radiation sickness and nuclear winter? Because they sound like brilliant fun! x
Thank you so much for reading! If you enjoyed this outstanding piece of journalism as much as I did, you can support my work here:

When journalist Haggai Matar notes that Israeli social media is seething with “calls for actual, literal genocide”, that too is not unusual. “Death to the Arabs” is a familiar cry of Israeli pogromists, as is “burn them, shoot them, kill them”. During the 2014 assault in which Israel killed over 2,300 Gazans, far-right Israelis celebrated by chanting: “Gaza, Gaza, Gaza is a cemetery!” Nor are such sentiments only for the hoi polloi. Genocide apologetics have appeared in the Israeli press. A deputy defence minister has threatened Gaza with “holocaust”. A deputy speaker of the Knesset has called for Gazans to be “concentrated in camps” and for all resistance to be “exterminated”.

Seeing the horrific aftermath of the massacre at Jabalya refugee camp today in Gaza (October 31), the most densely populated area in the world, where at least 100 people have been killed so far and parents are searching for their children under the rubble of the 20 residential buildings that have been flattened by Israel's bombing of the area
And it is absolutely horrifying that some disgusting, deplorable, vile lunatics would still find it in them to begin their response to this ongoing genocide with "but..."
But what? But WHAT?
This is inanity
I feel like we have been trying to shake people and scream please look at this! Please, do you see this?!
I understand we cannot coax humanity out of those who have none, but this is a new low
Fuck everyone who is on the fence and fuck both-siders, fuck the boat-steadiers of genocide and fuck israel

I'm sorry to always be the unhinged fucking lunatic in your asks, but you're one of the only Israelis who doesn't lecture your anons for being "too angry" at the bullshit so back here I go. At this point it's just so fucking annoying hearing the braindead takes of the Mein Kampf left. "Oh how DARE Israel (<with some incorrect third grader misspelling) complain about the drone attacks! They have the Iron dome! What's there to complain about??? nobody was hurt anyway, and Iran is totally justified!" but if Israel HADN'T been using the iron dome this time, the Islamic holy site of the Dome of the Rock would've suffered heavy bombardment and the same braindead leftists would cry that "Why didn't Israel protect this holy site of Islam!!! I bet the strike wasn't Iranian at all, but Israeli all along!!! Nasty vermin jew- I mean zionists!!! muh apartheid genocide!!!" Israel can't win if they use the Iron dome, Israel can't win if they don't use the Iron dome, Israel is somehow anti-arab and islamophobic even when they choose to defend a structure that if blown up by Iran, would allow them to eventually make a claim of their own to get back Judaism's holiest site OF OVER TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND YEARS. Meanwhile not a singular word of condemnation to Iran for even risking the targeting of one of Islam's most holy sites (I'm not even mentioning the obvious targeting of Israeli civilians because the lives of Israelis themselves clearly mean jack shit to those people). To these people, Iranian aggression is always justified. All aggression of all Muslims and Christians is always justified. but heaven forbid Jews do anything at all, ever, whether to defend themselves or not to. Maybe next time when Iran sends ten thousand drones instead of 185, Maybe the degenerates cheering in the streets would stop mid-cheer once some group other than the Jews has to suffer casualties. To clarify, I am NOT calling for the destruction of ANY group's holy sites, but when we're being shown that it ABSOLUTELY IS within the realm of possibility, the "protect Muslims/Arabs/Palestinians at all costs because they're a minority" crowd doesn't seem to mind any such destruction, should it happen at the hands of an Islamic country. It'll only ever be considered bad to them if they can find some Jews to blame for it. Fucking clown world. (And obviously, stay safe)
ur right and u should say it

"Ozai is just a shallow villain."
I see this argument far too often, so let me put this one in the ground once and for all and explain why Ozai is one of the Greatest Big Bads of All Time...and I'm going to do it with just one shot.
Tumblr media
First, before anything else: appreciate the animation here. Not sure who the animator was, but I believe JM studios worked on this, so shout-out to that company and its fine animators!
But now...analysis!
In this moment, right here, Ozai literally burns away any genuine arguments that he is anything less than Him. Yes, just a few hours ago, he was blustering about how he is now "The Phoenix King". Yes, a month or so ago, he held a meeting just to proclaim to all of his advisors and children how he would become the Supreme Ruler of All the World. Yes, he's an egotistical, genocidal lunatic with one of the biggest god complexes ever put to screen.
But then...he sees Aang. The Avatar attacks his airship, knocking it out of the sky. And that's when Ozai snaps out of his power fantasy and becomes the Final Boss.
He doesn't hesitate for a second. The trappings he'd dreamed of wearing for so long, the fine clothes he adorned himself with for the occasion today...he pulls them from his body. The ornate cloak of the Phoenix King, the freshly made symbol of his power...he burns it. He discarded his crown, and already shed his (ridiculous) helmet when he realized that it would hinder him on his mission--so now he's just a man.
In an instant, Phoenix King Ozai has shed himself not only of his cumbersome garments, but of any pretense that he needs anything but himself to show his power.
And that is only the first part!
He does not look around for help. He does not order his crew to follow him from the ship; there is no cry of "Seize him!" He does not turn to minions, or secondary schemes, or even seize a weapon (there is none more potent than him right now). He calls fire from his own hands, and leaps down to enter the battle himself.
He does not curse the ruination of his scheme. He does not tell anyone to bear witness. In this moment, Ozai has one purpose, and that is to kill the one person in the world who can challenge him, the legend that the Fire Nation has feared since the days of Firelord Sozin: the Last Airbender.
All it took was for Ozai to see this challenger, and he descended onto the field of battle himself. He had no interest in backup, no need for witnesses to his glory: he had one task in mind, and he was going to do it.
