Imagine the lengths Starfleet had to go to in order to keep the Enterprise A a secret from Kirk and the rest? Either that or they built it extra quickly.

I know they were busy with Khan and genisis planets and whales, but original Enterprise had just gotten a full refit at the beginning of star trek II. They couldn't have been planing on replacing her yet.

It activated the digital voltmeter, and also a battery tester that reads cold cranking amps. As a bonus AutoX-Ray threw in the EZ Charge testing lead and activated the function. I wanted to read live data stream not just codes and it does that great.The software is vehicle specific so when you read data from a Kia or Hyundai or Ford, it is reading that vehicle and not generics. I bought this scanner because it was affordable. Most have so many adapters and run you through so many screens it takes a lot of effort to learn and then to maneuver your way to the data you need. Dal 20 al 25 agosto, torna a Senigallia Ventimilarighesottoimari inGiallo, l’ormai storico appuntamento per gli appassionati del noir e del giallo civile organizzato dal Comune in collaborazione con la Fondazione Rosellini per la letteratura popolare. Quest’anno il festival, giunto alla sua undicesima edizione, si animerà grazie ad un palinsesto ricco di appuntamenti a ingresso libero che si svolgeranno nei Giardini della Scuola Pascoli. Ventimilarighesottoimari inGiallo Ad aprire il festival, sabato 20 agosto alle 21.30, una serata dedicata ai trent’anni di Mani Pulite con la presentazione del libro di Goffredo Buccini Il tempo delle mani pulite (Laterza), il racconto lucido ed appassionato di una delle inchieste giudiziarie più importanti della storia del nostro paese. Presenza fissa del festival, Alessandro Robecchi il 22 agosto racconterà alla giornalista Barbara Marini gli insegnamenti ricevuti dal grande scrittore americano Raymond Chandler, fatti propri nel suo ultimo romanzo Una piccola questione di cuore (Sellerio). E poi martedì 23 agosto alle ore 21, un gradito ritorno quello di Gabriella Genisi che, insieme a Paolo Mirti curatore del Festival, presenterà l’ultimo romanzo Terrarossa (Sonzogno) con un nuovo caso da risolvere per la commissaria più famosa d’Italia Lolita Lobosco. La sezione giallo civile Per la sezione giallo civile, da segnalare l’incontro il 23 agosto con Luca Cari e Virginia Piccolillo dedicato ai dieci anni dal naufragio della nave da crociera Costa Concordia, con la presentazione del loro libro scritto a quattro mani Apnea (Mondadori), e quello del 21 agosto con il critico letterario Massimo Raffaeli, che parlerà del libro II conformista (Bompiani) di Alberto Moravia. FILM ASK GAME - 9. The most aesthetically pleasing movie you’ve ever watched?

HMMM... i feel like i can provide several answers to this question tbh.

my first thought is the iron giant because it, with no exaggeration, completely changed the way i draw and what aesthetics influence my own artistic production (mainly that being mid-century design). kind of in a similar vein, the incredibles ii blew me AWAY in terms of visual presentation (everything else, though, not so much lmao).

Five Franchises That Didn't Know When to Quit

Sometimes less really is more.

Highlander

There can be only one. There should've been only one. The original ended in such a way that didn't leave the door open for a sequel, but that didn't stop them from trying. The result was Highlander II: The Quickening, a film so tremendously bad it should've left the franchise dead for all time. If only we were so lucky. Instead more sequels followed, each more terrible than the one that came before it. The last was Highlander: The Source in 2007. Since then there have been repeated attempts to reboot the franchise with a remake of the original. Let us hope none of them ever succeed.

Terminator

Hollywood just won't leave this one well enough alone. They keep trying to reboot this franchise with increasingly dire results. Another attempt is due next year, this time with Linda Hamilton returning as Sarah Connor and James Cameron producing. Will it success where all the others have failed? I wouldn't bet money on it.

Alien

Another franchise that should've stopped with Cameron. David Fincher's Alien 3 left a really bad taste in everyone's mouth, Alien Resurrection was just an absolute mess, and Ridley Scott's prequels get more forgettable with each installment. And don’t get me started on the Alien vs Predator movies. Speaking of Predator...

Predator

Even Schwarzenegger knows better than to return to this franchise and he said yes to Junior, Batman & Robin, Terminator Genisys, and three Expendables movies.

Harry Potter

After The Cruse Child and The Crimes of Grindelwald, fans are pretty much at the point where they will pay J.K. Rowling to not write anymore Harry Potter stories.
