Maybe the is a dumb question but what does “final girl” mean? Is it a trope thing?? Love ur blog btw!!

Hi, definitely not a dumb question. It is a trope for horror, particularly slasher movies, to describe the trend of having one surviving (female) character in those movies (particularly in the 80s). It was conjoined by Carol J Clover in her book "men, women and chainsaws". Most of the time this final girl stands opposed to the characters who die in horror (those who have sex, who do drugs, etc) and is elevated for her good morality, but it can be used to describe any surviving character in horror, while everyone around her dies. And I decided that's Sam in 15x20 :)
