So uh, fun fact I've had this finished for well over a month now and just kept forgetting to share it...

Anyhow! I finally got a design for Ganondorf figure out for my Sky Pirates story...maybe. I redesigned Nabooru in the process of designing Ganondorf, so I'm very sure I'll probably redesign him several more times before I make any meaningful progress on like, comic pages (and I still need to finish writing the story, rip, I swear this project will become a thing eventually). Three designs because parts of Ganondorf's story arc take place about 20 years in his past, so we have from left to right, his design for ages 22, 24ish, and 42.

Oh god

recently i just had this Idea that what if

there are male gerudos only every few 100 years becuase everytime ganondorf reincarnates hes just like "im not a vai" transes his gender

or better said hes trans when he reincarnates, and the other male gerudo that arent his reincarnation, since i assume that gan doesnt appear every 100 years, are just gerudos that realize "hey wait i am not a vai"

also

considering that the gerudos are all female i think they may have alot of gerudos that are just trans but never realized it and lived their entire live feeling extremely uncomfortable and they never knew why

since gerudos arent allowed to see any male until they are adults,meaning they mostly dont even know what a man is

So anyway every ganondorf is trans

A king travels from the desert. He knows his destiny. He has come to bargain.

“Do not punish the Gerudo for my sins.” (My echoes back through time, carrying the burden of wars so old they’ve been forgotten and blood still fresh on history’s floor.)

He offers himself in chains. The demon will come. It always does.

Wisdom confers with Courage.

And Power kneels, waiting.

He would rather his sisters remember him like this, as a king rather than the tyrant he’ll be twisted into.

The princess speaks. Her knight watches, wary-eyed but hopeful.

“We will find a better way.”

Even as a zelink shipper whenever people refer to Link and Zelda as soulmates it makes me laugh, cause yeah you're not wrong they totally are but Ganondorf is also technically their soulmate in that regard? The poly shippers have gotten around that issue but for everyone else he's literally born to third wheel. No wonder he's pissed, not only does he never get to realize his ambitions he's gotta watch that awkward teenage romance over and over for eternity.
