Why is Funshine x Grumpy the most popular ship for the fandom? ( btw, I support funshine x grumpy )

This is a very good question. I can only offer my guess, I could be completely wrong. I think the classic ship used to be Cheer and Grumpy. In addtion to their adorable DiC moment in the last laugh, I think they were the two most iconic Bears, and a perfect yin and yang for happiness and sadness. Then I think you had the Journey to Joke A Lot movie, which was the first time that Funshine really got to be a main character. Then you had AiC, where Funshine took a more prominent role as the leader. So I think a lot of it comes down to Funshine's emergence. But the other big piece of this is Funshine becoming male. I think if Funshine had stayed female, Funshine would have felt too much like Cheer. So tbh, I think the new generation likes this ship because it has the same dynamic that Cheer and Grumpy used to have, but it's two male Bears. The idea of having a gay Care Bear ship is very appealing to those who feel like for a long time these ships were ignored. Even the old Cheer/Grumpy one was the typical male/female ship. Of course, it helps that the UtM version of Funshine is so great and that they have so many cute moments. Even though it can easily be interpreted simple as friendship, seeing their affectionate moments can easily lend itself to a ship. So I can't say for sure. Those are just my thoughts. But I think with the modern UtM younger audience, it definitely is the most popular ship, at least as far as I can tell.

My reasons for these starting with cheer x share well for starters they already give off the vibe of girlfriends that are “girlfriends “ Ya know

Next grumpy and funshine oh cmonn ! Do I really have to explain it!? Funshine is outgoing loud and always has something to say meanwhile grumpy kinda quiet reserved plus grumpy has that whiffle which lets be real is his daughter so grumpy and funshine the gay dads!

Tenderheart and bedtime idk I just think there a cute couple the idea of tenderheart cuddling with bedtime makes a heart a flutter !

And last but not least

Wish and good luck something about them gives of bi energy like they can flirt with others but it’s way more fun to see them with each other
