The bjp government introduced the ucc bill in Uttarakhand which has made it mandatory for live in couples to register with the government and a copy of the registration will be sent to respective families. It also added the father as a first class legal heir for inheritance of property, encroaching upon the the right of the mother, wife, daughter (the actual victims of patriarchy, who most likely did not have any social right to gain access to financial independence or inheritance from other family members) to accommodate the father, who more than likely than not already has financial freedom and ownership rights over land property. Moving on, they removed the Muslim personal law, which guaranteed the rights of the daughter in a fixed inheritance percentage. Not to mention the whole act is modelled after hindu personal laws and demanding other religions to bend according to it is inherently regressive no matter how progressive the law on paper looks to be. So should I just bang my head against the wall right now and be done with it or watch as the bjp government slowly sets fire to all our lives?

a mosque was destroyed on 23rd january in mira road, a day after the ram mandir celebrations. in a city like bombay, this is the last thing i imagined happening. as if that's not enough, apparently bjp mla's have been planning on doing this for a few years now, but were awaiting, as they put it, the 'right opportunity'. the world, and this country, becomes a more horrific and sick place to live in every single day, and i do not have enough words to describe how scared and sorry i feel for my muslim, as well as christian friends. our constitution preaches secularity, but our government and courts fail you every single day. i am on your side.

My specific obsession for the last week has been Magni and Thrud’s relationship, and I fucking love the idea of Magni being willing to die for his baby sister 🥹…

I have an idea that Sif and Thor were still furious alcoholics even in Thrud’s childhood except they didn’t abuse her, but instead neglected her, forcing Magni and Modi to take care of her whenever Sif and Thor were on a hangover. Which was almost all the time. Until Thrud got older.

Magni, being the oldest sibling felt the most obligated to protect Thrud seeing how tiny and defenseless she was as just a babe in his massive hand. So what im basically trying to say, is uhhh, Magni essentially acted almost like a third parent for Thrud until she grew more capable of taking care of herself. He rlly loves and cares for his family, but sucks ass at showing it. He ends up with toxic love languages and toxic tendencies he would feel are the norm for him and whatever specific family member is in front of him. BUT due to there practically being nothing in the way of his relationship with Thrud, their relationship is one of the most important things to him, so if Thrud even gets upset with him, Magni gets a bit… nervous in his own ways.

The whole love thing also applies to Modi, but a bit different due to a… specific incident between the two (hint hint: the end of their boss fight in gow 2018) but that’s being dived into later on in my fic >:3

im still thinking abt the different parts of the au but u can have what i have so far under da cut

in universe sburb is something tina first finds out about through her friends. a group of the wagstaff kids plans on staying after school to use the computers there to all play together. its a T rated game and tina is concerned that her parents wont give her permission to play (this is not an anxiety the other kids have) but she still really wants to be involved so she “borrows” a laptop from school (you need two computers for the server/client thing to work and the belchers just have one) and takes it home.

gene and louise obviously want to play too, and tho tina is also worried she’ll get in trouble for letting them play a T rated game (she’s barely one herself!!!! what if theres adult themes!!!!!!) but she gives in eventually. louise calls dibs to be the other server/client and takes the family laptop to the restaurant for more space. when they enter the game the house splits, putting gene and tina in one world and louise in another.

only other thing i gots so far is classpects....after much research (looking at one wiki article) i have settled on
