Durante lo que más tarde se conoció como "El Sábado Negro", 9.000 hombres judíos, entre 18 y 45 años, fueron forzadamente reunidos en la Plaza de la Libertad, en el centro de Salónica. Cerca de 2.000 de ellos fueron enviados a trabajos forzados para el ejército alemán.

During what later became known as "Black Saturday," 9,000 Jewish males between the ages of 18 and 45 were forcibly gathered in Freedom Square, in the center of Thessaloniki. About 2,000 were sent to perform forced labor for the German army.

yandere diluc buys you a dollshouse.

well. calling it a ‘dollshouse’ is a disservice; it’s the winery manor in miniature, with tiny furniture and tiny pieces made by master craftsmen. you have been . . . difficult. you have found it hard to adjust; hard to swallow that diluc simply wishes to protect you, and can think of no better way than to keep you safely ensconced in his expensive home, coddled and taken care of, as his most beloved darling spouse.

and it’s to be expected; dollshouses are often bought by new wives, for them to become used to the thought of buying new furniture and rearranging things, ordering new draperies and all-in-all running a household. diluc knows you have not grown up in the splendour he has; wants you to feel as though you have control of something.

it’s silly. you have control of nothing; you are a prisoner, a canary in a gilded cage with a stifling owner who will not let you out to stretch your wings. but diluc seems to think that fussing over bed linens will make you soften; that the inherent domesticity in polishing tiny tiny candelabras and silverware will make you think more kindly of the inherent domesticity he is trying to force upon you.

he buys two figures for it, too; you and he, in perfect tiny scale, reproduced down to the crimson strands of diluc’s hair and the nervous expression on your face that so drives him to need to protect you. when he notices they have been left in separate rooms, he moves them. places them beside one another in the bed, in a cosy settee in the library, maneuvers miniature-diluc’s arm about miniature-you’s shoulders--

the maids do not exist in this perfect little dollshouse that diluc has given you. the little doll’s bedroom is not padlocked. in their adjoining bathroom, there are tiny faux-glass bottles of various tinctures and medicines with teeny-tiny printed labels. you are not permitted such things. the little doll would be perfectly capable of going to the lavishly stocked kitchen and picking up a carving knife, approaching their doll husband--

diluc does not think such thoughts. he smiles at his generous gift - hesitates before he touches your cheek, and instead smooths down the dress of the you-doll. tucks them into bed beside the doll version of himself--

you think he envies them.
