“Freds,” you called, running through the room to where Freddy was usually sitting. He was about to go undercover and you probably weren’t going to see him for a while. Not to mention you were also undercover and not even supposed to be out but you decided to give it one last shot to see your friend again, just in case.

You worked together as police. You were a vertern of being under cover which meant basically that you had been under for a little over four months. You were working to get an operation of a few men who ran a large business down but in order to do that you had to be trusted enough to even crack the surface.

Your dress clung to your figure as you walked over to where he sat in the diner. He looked around at the sound of his name and shot up when he saw you. It had been a really long time since you had seen one another. You had to keep your story up at all times and you weren’t lenient about seeing people but you had heard nothing about where Freddy was going to go.

You threw your arms around him and smiled, your lipstick covered smile that he adored and missed so much. He rocked you back and forth before letting you go. You slid into the booth across from him.

“How are you?” he asked. You shrugged.

“As well as can be. I wish I could tell you more than that,” you said with a small laugh, still amazed at seeing him at all. You loved his company and you had forgotten how easy it was to just be by his side.

“I know. They’re teaching me all the fuckin shit about being under cover but I’m probably gonna bullshit until I get what I need and can get out.” You laughed.

“That is exactly what it is. Be attentive. Wow I missed you and your hair,” you mumbled. He ran a hand through his floppy blond hair.

“I missed you too. Damn, these guys I have to work with may be too much. I don’t know but I’m glad you came to see me just in case something goes awry,” he pointed out. He ordered a milkshake and you kept your head down as he did so, deciding just to share whatever he got.

“Well you’ll be fine. I promise. Just imagine I’m there guiding you,” you teased.

The next morning Freddy got up to go to lunch with the Dogs who were to be the people he spent a lot of time with now. He had talked to only a few of them but he was now in as deep as he could get. He was Orange now, not Freddy.

“You heard o’ this girl Leea?” Blonde asked the table. They were all mingling over the coffee and eggs they had ordered. Freddy was just trying to blend in. A few of the boys had obvious reactions, all positive ones.

“Oh yeah. Well I heard that she was a real bitch but she looked like a God given gift,” Brown said.

“I heard she’s coming to one of the meetings,” Pink inquired, hoping for some confirmation of a rumor he had heard.

“Per my request. She and Orange need as much recent experience as they can get even if she has been around us longer,” White pointed out.

“Whos Leea?” Freddy questioned. A few laughs gathered around and Brown pointed a piece of toast at Freddy as he spoke.

“You’ll love her.”

When they all came into the designated meeting room the next day there was a certain worry Freddy had about this ‘Leea’ girl he had heard so much about. He was actually talking to Pink when you walked in and he barely noticed you.

Your face was caked in a certain kind of makeup he had never seen you wear. You had worn some before of course but nothing this bad or extravagant. You were wearing fishnets and your dress hugged your hips tightly under your large jacket. You looked like your undercover part. The first thing he thought about was if the people who had sent you both there knew that you would cross paths.

Everyone knew you were good friends. There was a small flash of recognition on both of your faces and then you were blank again but you knew he saw you.

“So this is the fresh meat? Cute, love your hair,” you said just in case he didn’t recognize you before your jab at his hair you were always going on about. You smiled and kissed Pink on the cheek before standing in front of Freddy. He put a hand forward and you took it. He kissed it dramatically.

“Orange.”

“Leea.”

You watched each other's eyes and smiled.

That meeting had been about some run they were taking a week from then a city away from where you were. They all decided upon getting a few different hotels to hide out at and give fake names. You had been there because of your looks, they needed a girl to get in first and do the harm before the boys could get in and do any real damage.

That night you were in a hotel, tittering with your fingers and looking out the window. You weren’t worried about the run, this would be your second one and you had already gotten the hang of it but you couldn’t promise you would save the money before Freddy if it came down to it. It would blow the cover you had worked so hard for.

There was a knock at your door and you composed yourself, fixing your skirt before walking over. You opened it up and Freddy pushed himself in. You closed the door behind him quickly.

“Freds? What are you doing here?” you asked but his lips were already on yours. You backed up, surprised but quickly kissed him back before he got the idea you weren’t enjoying it. He pulled away and swallowed.

“Should’ve fucking done this at the diner. Odds were we would end up in the same undercover case,” he said with a smile. You chuckled as well.

“They did it on purpose. But you can’t just kiss me and stop-'' He kissed you again.

The next morning you struted to the rendezvous point, a slight tear in your favorite jacket that you had worn last night as well. Pink was the one to notice it on the car ride over there. It was just him, Freddy, White and you in the car as the others were taking a different ride.

“So who’d you fuck last night Leea?” he called, looking at you in the back from the rear view mirror.

“Orange,” you said with a proud smile. Freddy looked over at you in surprise that you had given him up but you just crossed your legs. Pink and White whistled, White even turning to give Freddy a pat on the back.

not only that, but he’s probably never seen a walker in years.

you on the other hand, have been through so much, so you get him and Joe to understand that lack of awareness can get you killed

when he starts to understand, he starts using his privilege and does train for any attacks

he will start to worry more for the community in a political way, but also he owes it to you by making your safety his number one priority

SYNOPSIS: Freddy Newandyke is a gender neutral reader’s roommate, who gets up to some crazy stuff!

TRIGGER WARNINGS: Swearing and that’s it, it’s quite fluffy! <3

Oh, you are not prepared for the shenanigans and hijinks that this overgrown child will get up to alongside you! If you were looking for somebody mature, calm, and quiet, the polar opposite is what you got with Freddy. He may be goofy and kiddish, but he’s not intolerable, and is actually quite a responsible roommate when compared to other jerks who you could have landed. 

His stuff being strewn absolutely EVERYWHERE. He is not a person who is set on organization, tidying is the bane of his existence. Expect there to be comic books, dirty underwear, half-eaten cereal boxes, even action figures all over his bedroom, never crossing into your part of the apartment. When you’ve tried to talk to him about it, he promises to start trying to make an effort to be cleaner, but it never takes effect. Truthfully, you don’t mind, and think it’s kind of funny. 

The two of you staying up to play board games and card games, personal favourites being Cards Against Humanity, Killer Bunnies, Villainous Marvel Edition, and of course, DND, like the nerds you are! 

Also binging old movies and TV shows on Saturdays and Sundays, he’ll bust a quarter of his paycheck just on snacks for you two to gorge on for a fun evening together. 

Him being there as emotional support if you need him and likewise. There are times when the two of you have had especially rough days, just needing some quiet time in the other’s company or a laugh. He’s super great at making you giggle with his stupid antics, it’s the cure for any malady after all in his mind. But if you need to be alone too, he’ll respect that as well. Whatever you need, he’s there for. One time in particular, Freddy was quite depressed after a nasty outing with the ResDogs. You cheered him up by whipping up some guacamole and taco chips, plunking him down on the sofa to watch Lost Boys for the billionth time. He’d lay his head on your shoulder, platonically of course, and get lost in the movie with you as his cares melted away. 

Not minding whether or not you bring home any friends or dates, he’s really cool with it as a whole as long as you guys don’t make too big of a mess, respect him and his boundaries, and don’t lay a finger on his mint collection of comics. He’s busting out the lightsaber toy if they get anywhere near his pulp children, no questions asked. 

You are one of the only ones to know about his undercover work with the Reservoir Dogs, him trusting you not to tell. You don’t, of course, keeping your mouth shut when White and Eddie and Brown all come over to hang out. They like you too, thinking you’re pretty cool too. You’re also the only one to know about his affections for White, the desires he harbours for the grizzled criminal. The gay pining is just too adorable, better than any romantic comedy. A part of you wishes you could play matchmaker for the two guys, however you like Freddy too much to get that involved. But you wait in the sidelines as their biggest fan, ready to do whatever you can to make sure they realize the love they have for each other. 

Overall, Orange is an excellent person to have as a roommate, a better one that you could not have dreamt of having!

Synopsis: Freddy tells the guys an amusing story.

"Okay, okay," Brown waves his hands around, "Craziest thing that's ever happened to you." 

"Got pulled over by a cop for having phone sex with my girlfriend," Freddy chimes in proudly. "Had my dick out and everything." The Dogs all burst into juvenile laughter, passing the syrup around the table.

“You and cops, man, you’ve got some bad fucking luck,” Brown shakes his head. 

"And, uh... what was (y/n)'s reaction to this incident?" Larry smiles, "I expect it was something to witness." Freddy cringes.

"She doesn't exactly know yet."

"You better hope your ass doesn't get found out," Eddie shakes his head with a chuckle, "I know women, and you get put in the doghouse for that type of shit."

"Well it was her I was having phone sex with!" He shrugs, and goes back to mopping up syrup with his pancakes.

"C'mon, you can't just drop that shit on us and leave us without a story," Blue insists, and Freddy puts his hands up.

"Alright, alright. So I was talking to her on the way home one night..."

"Love you too."

"When'll you be home?"

"Eh, bout an hour away in the city."

"Okay. I've got dinner waiting, and I'm gonna go take a shower."

Just then, he sees someone pull up next to him. Frozen, he can't move, and turns to see. The man in the other car is a cop, like Freddy. The other cop is Holdaway. Holdaway looks down at Freddy's lap. Freddy waves.

Reservoir Dogs x Reader: Poly!  (sort of) Headcanons

You met the dogs through Joe. But Joe was the first. He met you at Pat and Lorraine's cafe. He liked you instantly and every time he came for breakfast or lunch, you would be like his personal waitress.

He gave you really good tips.

During one of his visits, you meet his son, Eddie. Eddie is very much like his dad, but more cheeky in some ways.

He flirts with you a little, making you go pink and act like a stuttering mess. “Knock it off, kid. She's working.” “Sorry, pops.” You weren't used to flattery.

The next time, Joe and Eddie came to visit, they're not alone.

You come to the cafe, almost rushing, thinking you were going to be late. But you made it in time.

You were called by the head waitress to serve Joe and his table.

You peeked out at the table to see several men, each one as good looking as the last.

Somehow getting up the courage to go over, you greeted Joe and Eddie with a smile.

Joe introduced you to the boys. Not by name, well not exactly but using colours: Orange, White, Pink, Blonde, Blue and Brown.

You find the boys to be quite pleasant.

The boys ask you to join them. But you refuse as you have other customers to serve. But you get told otherwise by your manager and you give in to their puppy eyes.

You find yourself sitting next to Joe and Mr. White and he buys you to a meal and a cop of coffee to go with it.

“So, what's with all the colour names?” “They all don't know each other that well, sweetheart.” “And just so you know, I had no interest in being called Mr. Pink. That was all his idea.” You shrugged. “S'alright. I wouldn't mind making you blush pink in the gents toilets.”

This struck a round of applause and laughter from the rest of the Dogs, except Pink who was left blushing and speechless.

The boys almost get a heart attack when Pink tips you, almost double when he goes up to give you it.

“By golly, girl. You work a fucking miracle.”

This tells them that Pink's taken a fancy to you.

But that's not the last time you see them – except Blue, he's happily married.

You meet up with Eddie first and takes you to Vegas which is a little much for a first date, in your opinion.

About half way through the date, you meet up with Blonde who introduces himself as Vic Vega.

The three of you get along like a house on fire – you enjoy their company. By the end of the night, you end up in bed with both of them until the next morning for when you all head back home.

Orange is the next of the Dogs to go on a date with you.

He takes you to a diner and then to his home to watch films – one of them being Lost Boys.

Halfway through, you both end up talking about anything and everything, and there he reveals to you that he's in a relationship with White. You don't mind a bit, thinking it's really sweet and you feel quite flattered by the fact that Orange trusted you with this secret.

You honestly thought White would have been upset by Orange telling you something so personal. But he wasn't, he was a little taken a back at first but happy once you told him that you had no ill will to them both for being in a relationship.

White was an absolute gentlemen and very respectful of you. He never forced you to do anything you didn't want to do.

Though you did request to have a night with both him and Orange. “One day, sweetheart.”

Mr. Brown was a total geek – no, wait....IS – despite his small criminal background. He took you back to his apartment to have a movie marathon with him, which led to him having to pause the film half a dozen times to discuss several theories he had about them. It went on well into the night.

And then there was Pink.

Pink was the most awkward out of the bunch. He seemed to be the sort of guy that put on the tough guy act around his friends/colleagues but when he was around you, he was soppy.

Near the end of the date, you both have the tipping discussion. He's very opinionated on the subject, which you can't help but agrees with him a little bit but once you explain to him a little more about it, you're sure you've convinced him...maybe only a little.

Surprisingly, he does tip but you suspect it'll be the last time.

When dusk fell, he takes you on a small walk back to his apartment for a little drink. He keeps you by his side at all times. His beady eyes watching everyone in case anybody decides to pull a fast one.

The night ends with you two making out on the couch and then later on falling asleep in his arms.

During the days when the boys having breakfast with each other and you're not around, they can't help but talk about you and how amazing you are.

Joe and Blue keep quiet about the whole thing but giving each other knowing glances.

They know what it's like and leave them to it.
