Is this the kitchen scene yall were talking about? The scene where Buck is very obviously flirting with Eddie and Eddie is very clearly into it (and doing the same, he’s definitely flirting back). How is this real. How did some people watch that and go “yup! totally normal interaction between two bros!” ?? I am genuinely asking. Just saying, if a close female friend talked to me like Buck just did to Eddie, I would get so many butterflies, maybe even try and initiate a lil kiss. I am fully aware that Buck and Eddie have never kissed, but I was half expecting them to. You will not be able to convince me that it wasn’t flirting that just occurred.

They got verrrrry close there at the end of that kitchen talk, and then it cut to them playing a fighting game with Christopher? They’ll never beat the “gay dads” allegations, I fear.

Also, on a separate note AWAY from Buddie; I am so so proud of Buck. His insistence on apologizing correctly was kind of the bare minimum, but it was still nice to see. I am eating up his character development.

I really want to rant about Eddie too. The last couple episodes focusing on Eddie and his unhealthy coping mechanisms for his anger is so interesting to me. I think I’ll hold off on that rant though?

First watch of 9-1-1, and I just finished season one!

Buck feeling threatened by Eddie in the first episode of season two is adorable and funny. I can definitely feel the homoerotic nature of their friendship beginning and it’s literally the first episode 😭 Can’t wait for their best-friendism (and maybe hopefully their future boyfriendism???) 🥹

My thoughts on the show so far:

- Every single one of these firefighters would make me feel so so safe if they were saving me. In different ways, definitely, but I would trust each of them individually with my life.

- The relationships and personal problems they are going through … depressing as fuck. Realistic! But depressing. Sometimes I get a little frustrated that I don’t know more though. For example, Athena’s daughter that tried to commit su*cide - I would’ve liked a little more on how that affected Athena. Or even how the daughter is doing now? They mention things in passing, but some parts of storylines don’t feel complete. I get it though, they wouldn’t have enough time to include that. It’s just a minor annoyance.

- This show is graphic! I knew that already, but it makes binge-watching a little difficult (it won’t stop me though - I love it. Am already emotionally attached to the characters).

- I’ve only seen a season of Buck, but even though he’s a super masculine guy, I genuinely do get bisexual-disaster vibes from him…and this is coming from a bisexual-disaster. He’s got a shit ton of insecurities that haven’t been explored yet, and I’m kind of scared. Knowing that he’s a bisexual has almost made me imprint on the dude. I’m very emotionally attached to him and his character arc. I don’t know if I’ll survive him (and Eddie).

- Overall, I’m having the time of my life! Will probably need therapy after this binge-watch, but it feels very worth it to me :)

'We're going to miss our reservation if we don't leave soon,' she reminds her.

Whitney mumbles something vague and incoherent, her attention fixed on the screen. She taps a few buttons as she chews her fingernail. A fleck of her navy blue polish chips off and lands on the table unnoticed.

Deciding to try a different tactic, Chelsea lowers her lips to hover by her ear, softly saying, 'You know, you're missing out on how hot I look right now. I'm even wearing that dress you really like.'

Pressing closer, she wraps her arm around her shoulders and trails her lips along her soft lobe. Whitney shivers beneath her, her spine straightening.

'And not much else,' Chelsea murmurs teasingly. She punctuates the implication, lightly kissing her neck until it rewards her with a deep sigh that stretches out into a groan.

'Right, I'm ready,' Whitney says, finally turning her attention away from the laptop and angling her body towards her. Her eyes drift over her and she smiles. 'You look amazing, Chels.'

'I know,' Chelsea says, grinning. She then leans down and kisses her properly. 'But thanks, babe. Now, are you actually ready to go or do you want another five minutes to finish stressing about this job interview.'

Whitney's face lights up and her eyes go all wide like a puppy that just heard every dog's absolute favourite word. 'Just five minutes then we'll leave, I promise!'

Rolling her eyes, Chelsea presses a kiss to her forehead and tucks a few strands of hair behind her ear. 'Okay, but you're buying dessert.'
