I want your opinion on something. Do you think it's better to try and the the cards of the character you like or skipping some to brench out? Like, say you're a fan of Leona. Should you try to get all of his bday card and stuff or stick to one and get other characters ssr?
personally, as much as I would like every single card...I gotta ration my keys, so I focus on my favorites!
Tumblr media
which isn't to say that I only pull for certain characters no matter what! more that I take a good long look at every card that comes out and go "do I really want this one? like...really really want it?" (the answer is usually yes, but -- look, the art in this game is very pretty, okay)
honestly, from a gameplay standpoint, I think it doesn't matter too much whether you focus on pulling for specific characters or not. there are very, very few points where actually having a good mix of characters is important (Those Two Stages in episode 6, where I think you can use retry tickets for the easy mode? and also guest room battles if you care about those) and you'll probably end up with at least one halfway decent card per character just from doing 10-pulls and events. so even if you're only pulling for Leona cards, you'll still end up getting a bajillion other characters as well. follow your heart! chase that grumpy lion bliss! ✨🦁✨

The Floating Market
Description: A photo of a raised concrete path above river water. The path is narrow and lined with potted plants. To the side of the paths are small houses. An illustration of myself skips along the path.

Cai Rang Floating Market, Can Tho, Vietnam: The biggest floating market in the Mekong Delta, Cai Rang is 6km from Can Tho in the direction of Soc Trang. The market is best around 6am to 7am, and it's well worth getting there early. It basically is a market where people sell & buy things above water.

expectation when watching master and commander for the first time last night: a gritty revenge story à la captain ahab chasig the unattainable object of selfish desire where the captain slowly descends into madness.
reality: a story of men on a boat loving each other oh so much.
especially these two:

Okay, okay, the sudden Goncharov posting might be a bit jarring to folks, but it is one of those films that just sort of sticks to you long after you see it. It’s a heavy watch, but every little point is just so impactful. Even the part about the lima beans and the car chase.

I used to despise mass-market paperbacks due to hating the look of the size of them compared to normal paperbacks and hardcovers and the fact that to read them you basically have to break the spine. But, lately, they’ve been what I’ve been leaning towards. Mostly due to a lot of vintage horror and running out of space.
I currently own nine mass-market paperbacks and while I don’t mind them as much anymore if I can get the book in paperback or hardcover and it’s not extremely expensive I’ll still get that instead. Although, five of them are classics and those I don’t care about the format. All but one of the mass-markets I bought second hand with their spine already broken because I can’t break spines. I’m going to hate the day I get to the one without a broken spine.
