"Five Women, 7 Men, Arrested on Street,” Montreal Star. November 8, 1932. Page 2. ---- Released on Bail After Attempted Clash of Workers ---- Five women and seven men who were arrested by police for obstructing the sidewalks in front of the Caron Building last night in disturbance arising out of a strike in the S. Rubin Clothing Company today appeared in the Recorders' Court and were each released on $15 bond. Trial was fixed for November I5. 

Those arrested are P. Waxmen, H. Bragfn; R. Shuler; M. Shear; I. Breslau; L. Fairner; Rae Hammer; Dave Sunshine; Dora Sunshine; Ross Hoffmann; Rose Hoffmann, Rae Collier and Minnie Finestone.

Eight of the accused were claimed as members of the United Workers of Canada.The remaining four said that they were passerby and had been swept in by police in the raid which followed an attempted clash between rival union members.
