Hilda has a flute, and it is at least... more than half a century old?
So... it appears that the recorder ( a type of flute ) that Hilda has... was handed down by her grandmother. Jeez, that really is one ancient flute.
It's quite bizarre to think how the recorder continues to appear multiple times throughout the series, but we never officially saw Hilda using it ( excluding the scene from the upcoming Hilda and Twig: Hide From The Rain comic )
Y'know I started playing the recorder for shits and giggles bc I'm going to dress up as the 2nd Doctor for a con, but this instrument is actually so fun and addicting.
Like 2 was actually so right for whipping out a recorder the moment he has to wait around for more than 5 seconds. I'll be outside somewhere understimulated as hell and severely craving the toot of my flute too.
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) - Concerto for Harpsichord, 2 Recorders and Strings in F-Major, BWV 1057, I. [without tempo indication]. Performed by Claudio Ribeiro, harpsichord & direction, and Collegium Musicum Den Haag on period instruments.
Nobody asked for it but here is Snufkin’s Spring Tune played by me on the recorder (which isn’t even my primary instrument). The expectations are low and the quality is even lower.
Enjoy! :)
I was going to send this to my friends but then I decided not to as I still want them to still be my friends after all.
