4T2 Snowy Escape Build Set

Sul Sul!

I wanted to say thank you la fee verte for running the @sims4t2bb tumblr page, I asked what they would like to see converted and they said this set, so it went straight to the top and I couldn't be happier!

So, today I have all the snowy escape windows and doors, all come with several swatches, I have broken up the mesh so that the outer frame and the inner frame can be recolourable separately with exception of the "Streamlined Sliding Door" that has the out and inner on one, whilst the second is used for the door panel images.

2 Arches

The Four tile wide doors have not been copied, but there is an arch there to make them using the windows, the other four tile door, the big sliding one has not been converted as there is no way for us to have that in our games sadly!

enjatoki's horse ranch stuff

I recieved a PM from Mortire over at GOS, instead of me explaining again I'll simply copy-paste the message :-)

Hej vegan_kaktus! I saw a note that enjatoki's tumblr has disappeared, so I zipped up all the files I have from them. The folder with everything where you can pick and choose is here. Here's the link to download everything in one go. Previews and swatches are included. These links include everything kestrelteen's uploaded, with more recolours, so more complete (though I cannot say if it is absolutely everything). For the ranch items, in set part 3 I have included some personal edits of some items to include subsets. I did not have most of the GTW files la fee verte uploaded, so there is minimal overlap with that reupload.

Hi again. I was in a bit of a hurry earlier, so I forgot one folder of files - ep13-WellTravelledShelves. I have added them to the main download, and as a separate download in the folder. I should also have mentioned that for the four objects I've added subsets to, I have renamed the mesh files, but not the recolour files, though they were also edited to allow for the new subsets. If anyone have these items already, and just want the updated files, it is important to delete the MESH and recolour files you already have so as not to get any duplicate textures. The following information is only relevant for anyone that already have these items and just want to have versions with subsets. The updated objects are: In the folder HorseRanch-PART2: MESH-EnjaToki-4t2ep14-GrandCountryTable (has been updated and renamed to add my name)- remember to remove all files from enjatoki starting with "EnjaToki-4t2ep14-GrandCountryTable-Rec" to avoid any duplicate textures or missing subset recolours. Hannah Flower's "Visceral Victuals."

Currently on view at Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle, Washington is artist Hannah Flower's solo exhibition, "Visceral Victuals."

Born in Tasmania but currently based in Scotland, Flowers paintings depict a dark wonderland of mythic symbolism and allegorical grotesques. These often harken back to original European fairytales that were much grimmer and dark than the sanitized versions we have today. Flowers work also references the 19th century Demi-Monde's appreciation of nighttime opulences, carnal infatuations, and dalliances with La Fee Verte. This combined with her lush florals and maiden images create a sort of Macabre Nouveau aesthetic. Beautifully rendered and lavishly painted, these paintings are definitely for more adventurous art aficionados, but those who do delve into the artists world will be richly rewarded.

Living with a Faerie Woman by Brian Froud

What is it about faerie women that men find so irresistible? There are many stories of men enamoured of women who emerge from under lakes, or the sea, or caves, or deep in the woods: the gateways of Faerie.

They all have something in common: they are beautiful and loving, bringing faerie gifts of creativity. They are also elusive, holding deep secrets and unfathomable mysteries.

Typical of faerie and human partnership is a Welsh story of three identical faerie women emerging from the waters of a lake. They are seen by a man who proposes marriage to one of them. She agrees, but only if he can recognize her again amongst her sisters. He is able to do so by a small difference in the way her sandals are strapped. Perhaps this is a reminder that in seeking love we must recognize what it is precisely that makes our relationship with a particular person unique. We must pay attention to the details, even the smallest of them!

They marry, and she brings cattle (practical gifts that provide for and nurture the relationship), then children are born (joyous gifts of life). However, she issues a warning: If she receives from him three causeless blows she will leave. They occur by accident and are seemingly minor, but indicate that he has not paid attention and has not treated her with reverence. The faerie woman leaves, returning to Faerie, leaving him bereft.

“La Fee Aux Cheveux Verts” is a tale from Brittany. A young man from the marshes is loved by a beautiful, green-haired faeries who lives under the sea. As a token of her love, she gives him wondrous fishes, but he betrays her with another. Consequently he is eaten by sea monsters. So, men, take heed: Cross them, and their anger can be your doom. Be sure to value and cherish their love.

okay so they can't do a saline infusion bc of course they can't 😭 apparently it's stupid expensive at urgent care and they said insurance probably wouldn't cover it bc it's "just" for a chronic thing (yelling and screaming at insurance conpanies) but i may be able to get one cheaper at the er but also that would mean paying the enter-the-room fee which is like $400 on a good day. they're gonna take swabs to see if i have the flu and blood labs to see how my electrolytes look and they'll give me some anti-dizziness meds (anti-vert or something?) but she said she's really sorry there isn't really much they can do 😭😭😭 rragh

#also the $400 fee is VERY low and i'm really lucky we have an insurance plan with such small fees like thay. bc me and my mom are both #chronically ill and my sibling also has a lot of doctors appts our plan has much smaller fees like that than most plans which is really a #life saver #personal update #pots syndrome #chronic illness
