How do u know the year of cars when identifying?
i usually can get a ballpark if i don’t know offhand based on design cues. different eras of design, regardless of where in the world the car is coming from, generally have design or tech motifs that help narrow things down. if i have a make, model, and idea of general era, i usually take to wikipedia to get an exact range of years for a generation of a model, as well as narrowing down like mid-generation refreshes (aka “facelifts”) to narrow down the years as much as possible. a lot of classic cars would do redesigns every year so sometimes i can get it down to a year or two pretty easily, but especially when i’m working with like a portion of a front end or an interior or some other shot that doesn’t include the majority of the car, the best i can usually do is a couple year span

even in another time

An Epilogue, which is also a prologue
Laurent has been here before. The exterior of the royal palace in Arles was not as he knew it, having undergone numerous facelifts and reconstructions to suit the architectural trends of any given era. Even the version they rode upon was not the original, albeit still far removed from the museum which Laurent knows it as. But this grand hall, with its sweeping staircase and triple-domed ceiling, its ocular windows and overwhelming, opulent stretches of smooth marble, is almost as it will be. The only glaring difference, as Laurent stands at the foot of the stairs and looks up at the grandeur, is the sculpture framed by it all.
On holiday with his brother in Ios, Laurent bathes in a hot spring. Unfortunately, he drowns. Even more unfortunately, when he surfaces somehow, he finds himself thrust back in time. Dropped into the middle of a mythologised ancient war for the Akielon throne, he is determined to get back to the modern day - even after ending up kidnapped (or perhaps rescued) by the rightful King, Damianos.
This journey is at an end! The epilogue of even in another time, my epic Laurent x Damen mythological time slip romance, is now up on AO3! 🏛️🌿🏺🍊🌞❤️‍🔥

Plymouth GTX Concept  (1 of 1)
This is the only 1972 Plymouth GTX you’re ever likely to see because it’s the only one that was made. And it wasn’t made by Plymouth, it was made by Gary and Pam Beineke using formerly top secret images from the Chrysler archives. The Plymouth GTX is a muscle car that was produced by the Plymouth division of Chrysler Corporation from 1967 to 1971. It was introduced as a high-performance version of the popular Plymouth Belvedere and was marketed as a “gentleman’s muscle car” with good performance, but with a more luxurious interior and smoother ride than some of its more hard-edged counterparts. When it was introduced the GTX was available in two-door hardtop and convertible body styles and was powered by a 440 cubic inch V8 engine that produced 375 horsepower. It also featured heavy-duty suspension, power brakes, and a floor-mounted four-speed manual transmission as standard equipment. In 1968, the GTX received a facelift and a new optional engine – the legendary 426 cubic inch Hemi V8 that produced 425 horsepower. The Hemi was claimed to be the most powerful engine available in any American production car at the time, and it gave the GTX serious street cred among muscle car enthusiasts.Over the next few years, the GTX continued to evolve with various engine and styling updates. In 1969, the car received a new front-end design and a new optional engine – the 440 Six Pack, which featured three two-barrel carburetors and produced 390 horsepower. In 1970, the GTX received a completely new body style and a revised engine lineup that included the 440 Six Pack and the 426 Hemi, which was now rated at 425 horsepower.
Sadly by the early-1970s it became clear that the muscle car era was coming to an end, and by 1971, rising insurance rates and tightening emissions regulations had taken their toll on the high-performance car market in the United States.
For 1972 the GTX name was relegated to what was essentially only an option package, called the Road Runner GTX. Any Road Runner that was ordered with the 440 V8 received Road Runner GTX badging, and this continued until the model was phased out in 1974, in the dark shadows of the 1973 Oil Crisis.
There were rumors of a potential comeback for the GTX in the late 1990s however a production car never materialized.
The car you see here is the only one of its kind in the world, it’s a 1972 Plymouth GTX but as mentioned further up, it wasn’t actually built by the Chrysler Corporation. Each year the husband and wife team of Gary and Pam Beineke build one car. And not just any car, but a car that previously existed only in the Chrysler archives. They find original drawings and images of planned models that never made it into production, and then they painstakingly build the car themselves. Interestingly this work isn’t their full time job. Gary is an attorney and a registered contractor, and Pam is a registered nurse who works in the operating room. They call the series of cars that they have built “What If’s” – and they do it all on nights and weekends while holding down full time jobs.
The couple first came across the planned 1972 Plymouth GTX when looking over the uncovered archive items discovered by Steve Juliano. This car was designed by John Herlitz and it was far from just a stying exercise, multiple full scale models were made and it did seem for a time as though it would be the successor to the 1971 Plymouth GTX.
Sadly it was not to be. The perfect storm of increasing emissions restrictions and crash safety regulation combined with soaring insurance premiums on muscle cars resulted in demand dropping significantly by the early 1970s.By the time of the 1973 Oil Crisis, with its sky high gasoline prices, automakers were already focusing on smaller and more fuel efficient vehicles. The GTX name did live on for a short time, as part of the aforementioned Road Runner GTX package on 440 V8 equipped cars, but it was killed off as a free standing model after 1971.
Gary and Pam Beineke took it upon themselves to right this wrong. They sourced a 1971 Road Runner and set to work creating the car that Herlitz had designed all those years ago in the late 1960s. They poured over the images of the long destroyed models, and they were able to discuss their work with Herlitz her offered them guidance on what the production ’72 GTX would have looked like.

The Evolution of Modern Credit Card Payment Gateways
Article by Jonathan Bomser | CEO | Accept-credit-cards-now.com
Tumblr media
In the rapidly shifting digital landscape of today, the world of commerce is in a constant state of flux. A pivotal aspect that has undergone a remarkable transformation is the realm of payment processing. The era when cash transactions ruled supreme is long gone. In its place, credit card payment gateways have risen as the driving force behind the seamless flow of online transactions. Nevertheless, this journey is anything but straightforward. It entails much more than a simple exchange of funds. In this article, we delve into the intricate evolution of modern credit card payment gateways, exploring their roles across various industries and shedding light on high-risk transactions. We also examine specialized sectors like e-commerce, credit repair, and even the CBD market.
DOWNLOAD THE EVOLUTION OF MODERN CREDIT CARD INFOGRAPHIC HERE
The Backbone of Digital Transactions Payment processing for high-risk industries has experienced a notable transformation. The ascent of credit card payment gateways has not only empowered businesses to accept credit card payments but also to adeptly manage intricate transactions. The evolution of credit card merchant accounts and merchant processing has paved the way for a more secure and streamlined payment ecosystem. In the contemporary landscape, credit card processing entails sophisticated systems that guarantee data security, ward off fraud, and facilitate seamless fund transfers. High-risk merchant processing has evolved into a specialized niche that caters to businesses operating in industries deemed riskier due to factors like chargeback rates or regulatory issues.
E-Commerce: The Digital Marketplace The ascent of e-commerce has revolutionized the way we engage in shopping, and credit card payment gateways play a pivotal role in enabling online transactions. E-commerce payment processing has reshaped the buying and selling landscape, transforming how businesses and customers interact. E-commerce gateways and merchant accounts facilitate swift payment processing, granting customers the ability to shop from the comfort of their homes. The e-commerce credit card processing system guarantees that sensitive financial information is exchanged securely, fostering consumer trust and driving up online sales. Accepting credit cards for e-commerce isn't merely a convenience; it's a necessity for thriving in the digital marketplace.
Credit Repair's Financial Facelift Credit repair merchant processing has carved a niche for itself within the financial sector. As individuals strive to enhance their credit scores, credit repair merchant accounts and payment processing solutions have emerged to aid them on this journey. The credit repair payment gateway ensures secure payments for services aimed at bolstering one's credit profile. This specialized segment heavily relies on the reliability and security of payment processing systems to foster trust between service providers and clients. Accepting credit cards for credit repair has become emblematic of reputable and accessible credit repair services.
CBD: Green Transactions in a Gray Area The CBD industry has witnessed exponential growth, yet its association with regulatory uncertainties classifies it as high-risk. CBD merchant accounts and payment processing solutions are tailor-made to address the distinctive challenges faced by this sector. Payment gateways tailored for CBD businesses navigate the intricate legal landscape, providing a secure platform for accepting credit cards for CBD products. The CBD payment gateway ensures that businesses can operate smoothly despite the imposed restrictions. This demonstrates how high-risk merchant processing can adapt to diverse industries, catering to their distinct requirements.

Seamless Integration and Security Credit card payment gateways have become synonymous with secure and seamless online transactions. These gateways offer customers a smooth checkout experience while diligently safeguarding their sensitive financial information. Online payment gateway solutions offer advanced encryption and security measures, instilling confidence in customers that their data remains well protected. Credit card payment gateways also serve as the vital link between businesses and financial institutions, ensuring accurate and prompt fund transfers. These gateways haven't solely streamlined transactions; they've also forged a bedrock of trust in the digital marketplace.

'Doctor Who has been visibly struggling for nearly a decade. Viewing figures started a decline in the Peter Capaldi era, and the lacklustre scripts of the Jodie Whittaker era meant time was up for many fans.
But the show's getting a major facelift, and in returning showrunner Russell T Davies the BBC have the man who wrote some of its greatest-ever episodes with the likes of Rose Tyler in the Tardis. Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa will soon be piloting the time machine, but the sci-fi classic needed something to hook fans of the 2000s series back in - and has brought in the big guns with David Tennant reprising his role as the Doctor.
If you haven't watched an episode of Doctor Who since David Tennant said farewell in 2010, you'd be able to pick it right back up here with The Star Beast - the first of three specials marking his return to the show. A spaceship crash-lands on London and the Doctor is called into action - but why is Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) back in his life, and why is there (as she asks) "a bloody martian in the shed"?
Within minutes of the opening titles, Tennant is running about and ranting his way through technobabble just like the good old days. He and Catherine Tate slot effortlessly, instantly, and brilliantly back into their roles, and have the same chemistry that made them so unbelievably watchable when they first appeared on our screens.
Make no mistakes - this is a treat for the fans who were raised on the 2000s series, in the same way Sarah Jane Smith's return in 2006's School Reunion was a nod to those who spent the 1970s hiding behind the sofa from Genesis of the Daleks. It's a big, silly, geeky romp and never really pretends it's trying to be anything else.
No spoilers, but it'll have the Doctor Who nerds in your family jumping up and down on the sofa with glee - both at little references to the Doctor Donna's old adventures and at the new and improved versions of [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. We said no spoilers...
It's admittedly not a perfect episode by any means, and some parts are frustratingly blighted by the issues that have dragged the show down in recent years. It's Doctor Who, and in a sci-fi world constantly rewriting itself with time travel and revealing new bits of its own canon, there's never really an expectation that everything will make perfect sense and you can forgive a bit of clunky exposition.
But some of the episode's biggest plot points come off as surprisingly trite and ill-thought-out. Similarly, Russell T Davies has always woven progressive storylines and diverse characters into his prose - here, though, the attempts to do so are frustratingly ham-fisted (even if well-intentioned and, in principle, welcome).
But the impact of Davies' return is decidedly and instantly a positive. Back at the helm after flexing his sci-fi muscles with 2019's Years and Years and delivering one of the past decade's great character pieces with It's a Sin, it's a complete given he'll write jokes that actually land and emotional beats with some genuine oomph to them.
Donna's relationship with her daughter Rose (Yasmin Finney), for instance, is genuinely sweet and is the perfect step forward in Donna's life where we find her: without her memories of the Doctor and a good 15 years into domestic life. Her mum Sylvia, despite having softened from the constantly-haranguing busybody she was in the earlier series, is as hilarious as ever and it's not long before she and David Tennant are trading barbed words again.
In short, it's nice to be able, once again, to assume that an episode of Doctor Who will be fun, rather than sit through the last five minutes of Countryfile praying you aren't about to be bored silly for the best part of an hour. Just as the worst episodes of Doctor Who feel like they drag on for hours and hours, this one zips along and is gone in a flash like the very best. Bug-eyed monsters, spaceships in London and Catherine Tate yelling at people - this is Doctor Who as you know and love it, but with shinier CGI, better cameras and jokes about pronouns.
David Tennant said on The One Show that this first special was "the world of Doctor Who that you'll recognise," but the second is "unlike any episode of Doctor Who ever done before". Eagle-eyed fans will tell you that between two trailers, endless online clips, and a string of interviews, posters and previews, we know next to nothing about the second of Tennant and Tate's trio of specials, Wild Blue Yonder.
As the credits roll on The Star Beast, there's a sense that show's creators have kept the cards close to their chest with the first 60th anniversary special. It'll well and truly whet your appetite, though - and there's clearly a lot more to come.'

I’ve given Interview With a Ghoul a facelift. But in the process I accidentally deleted some Infest era interviews from the list. 🥴 I still have them so I just need to put them back.
Also I’m renaming it to The Clergy Library, because it just sounds better. URL is still the same for now.
Feel free to DM me suggestions/stuff I’ve missed/comments

The earrings. by u/khsimmons
The earrings. Just pointing out when Kim Kardashian had a facelift during her blonde wig era, she wore her hair the way I do when I clean the house, half up, half down. She also wore oversized earrings that looked like credit cards. Kim never wears earrings. But they did hide the facelift incisions. Given that Me-gain was wearing earrings in Jamaica with a dress that was 12” too long, I’m thinking she was trying to distract us. She doesn’t wear earrings either. However, she is sporting a whole new face so…We are not distracted. post link: https://ift.tt/uRUWqKY author: khsimmons submitted: January 24, 2024 at 10:48PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit
